"Bellingham knows its beer, and that knowledge is on full display at this bottle shop and taproom. There are beers from around the world that you can drink here or take to go, and the helpful staff provides expert guidance. If you want to linger in shop or in the large beer garden, they have an excellent pizza menu with toppings like oyster mushrooms, fresh ricotta, and Calabrian chili sauce." - Megan Hill, Jessamyn Tuttle

First time visiting this place. Almost would say it a hidden gem. It's kind of out of the way of moat conventional eatery or brew pub areas. Was pleasantly surprised at the large selection of beer not just in their enormously large coolers but also on tap as well. They also have pizzas on-site that are extremely tasty. If you have not tried it out yet, you should.

Google
If you enjoy the process of looking for unique and unusual beers at your favorite store, then this is the place to come! They have all the typical ones you know about, and many others from around the world as well. You can also find lots of brews from boutique breweries around the nation. They have an amazing selection of beers and ciders on tap, and they have a great sitting area both inside and out. I love going into their beer cave to see what new selections they have. Stop by and you will not be disappointed. Oh, and they have a large selection of wine as well, and a nice seating area that almost looks like a cigar room.

Bob Davis

Google
Cool spot with lots of beer taps, pizza, and beverages galore. Outside seating has heat but still chilly in winter. Very cool darkest day brew celebration. Amazing selection of draft and bottled beer from around the world.

Daniel

Google
If you like craft beer this will be your new favorite spot. They have a HUGE beer selection from a ton of different micro breweries. This was my first time visiting and I will definitely be back again. If you're in the area...stop in and enjoy. This place was epic.

Google
the variety of beers is on point! They have something for everyone, especially if you fancy yourself a specialty brew! Indoor out door seating with table fire pits out doors. great stop to get something to go or stay for an evening

Google
I've had decent experiences here in the past but the last time we went was weird. We bought a growler of beer for $30?! We didn't see the price anywhere and every growler we've gotten anywhere else has been half that price at worst so why would we think otherwise? If we knew it was a $30 growler we wouldn't have purchased it. That's ludicrous. Whoever helped us was unfriendly and hardly spoke to my husband while he was paying. It sucks since we were fairly frequent, long time patrons, but that ruined it for us and we won't be back.

Google
Amazing selection of beers and ciders There's something for everyone here. It's vibe is like a corner store you can hang out in, have a drink with friends and order a pizza. Kids are welcome too!

I’ve been here several times, and the beer selection never disappoints. Often I come here for smoothie sours, as that is something that you cannot get in Canada. This time however I came to check out the fresh hops. There was alot to sort thru, and an employee by the name of Chris was particularly helpful. Not the type to brush someone’s questions off, he meticulously went through everything I was asking about, and gave his inside analysis to make my choices easier. In a craft beer store where people spend a good amount of money, it is this type of customer service that is greatly needed to find the right products.

Yelp
This place has the best atmosphere. The employees are amazing. The beer selection is fantastic. In the past few months, the food options have broadened and everything I've tried is delicious. Sometimes it's hard to find a table of your own, but I've never had a bad experience asking to share with other customers. A very welcoming environment and it shows through the kindness of its customers. I go for the beer, my kids go for the various sodas, candy, and snacks - everyone leaves happy. This place is a definite win for me.

Brett S.

Yelp
I guess you could say this is a unique place, it has the feels of being at a convenience store. When paying, keep in mind when you tip you will get your own plates/silverware and you will bus your own table when you're done. The pizza is pretty decent, but massively overpriced. You'll pay $25 for a pizza that should be $17 at most. I'd say not a must try, since bham has so many more pizza spots!

Jennifer J.

Yelp
It's been a hot minute since I reviewed the Station, which was one of my old haunts when I lived in the Ham. Recently, I met an old friend here for a beer, and was immediately caught up in the classic Bellingham vibes, amazing taplist, friendly service, and general likeability of this classic taphouse. I still remember when the Station opened. At that time, they were a mini mart with taps. Since then, they've pared down on most of the groceries to make room for just about the best selection of canned and bottled beer, cider, and wine north of Seattle. (I wish we had a place like this in the Skagit Valley...just saying!) They also curate a small-but-mighty taplist, with something for just about everyone's taste. I like that I can get things on tap here (like Stoup from Seattle!) that I can't find anywhere else nearby. Seating here is still a challenge, but they do have a huge, covered outdoor tent area if you can't find a table inside.

Yelp
Elizabeth Station has earned their high reviews! Obviously, there's selection of brews from around the world is pretty impressive... But I got to tell you how much I enjoyed their pizza today! Any wood oven pizza done right just put a smile on my face, and their pizza did not disappoint! Highly recommend.

Nikki B.

Yelp
This place was recommended to us by four Austin transplants the day prior. How funny was it that the next day we decided to start our day here... sitting at a table near the door. My mom and I both engrossed on our cell phones we hear "hey, you made it!" Look up to see the four sauntering in! I didn't really peruse their off-sale selection but it was expansive! I appreciated that they had small baskets for the serious shopper. They have a selection of merch. There is an extensive list of beer-it-forwards. We didn't opt for food but the wood fired pizzas looked good. I appreciated that the beertender let me try a couple of beers, the Death & Taxes and some watermelon cucumber seltzer by Project 9 before settling on a Hofbrau Oktoberfest. I appreciated that the benches were bolted to the ground. I liked that they had a tented picnic area in the parking lot and loved the PRIDE colored fence at the end of it near the road.

Luke H.

Yelp
I do really love this place. The vibe, social meet-up, selection and food are all great. I wish they didn't charge an extra $2 for cracking open your beer in addition to asking for a tip. The nickel and dime-ing has definitely made me reconsider going there over the many other neighborhood spots that offer similar experiences without the additional fees. Great spot, just add a few dollars to the advertised price of any drink if you plan on not only tipping but enjoying it there.

Michaela M.

Yelp
Pizza is overpriced but the beer selection is great and the food tastes amazing. The staff are always incredibly nice as well

Kirsty A.

Yelp
Great pizza. Online ordering was easy. Beer garden had a fun atmosphere. Would recommend

Louie F.

Yelp
Arugula and prosciutto pizza as good as I have had in New England! I highly recommend it! Cool little place that feels part convenient store, part pub. Unlike a convenient store this place is focused on beer and ciders. You can buy them by the can so you aren't stuck with five beers you have to pawn off on your friends if you don't like it! If there was one closer I'd definitely be there regularly.

Kevin B.

Yelp
Great beer, cider and sour selection! We sat outside with a peek a boo view of the water.

Christina R.

Yelp
A lucky find during a quick visit to Bellingham. Delicious pizza & awesome beer (&cider) selection! Gucci Gang pizza a must try! Helpful friendly staff. Seating indoors & covered outside.

Aliza C.

Yelp
We picked up dinner and a couple cans of local IPAs tonight. They have a huge selection of beer and ciders, so we were glad they offer suggestions & recommendations. The Gucci Gang and Cascadia Mushroom pizzas were excellent! Great overall experience with good vibes. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Hokie P.

Yelp
Great selection of beverages, I haven't actually eaten there so I can't comment on the food and seating is limited but it does make for a nice stop on a bike ride. Service is spotty and I've encountered some kind of snooty staff. Definitely not my go to place but for a quick beve it's "ok".

Rika W.

Yelp
Great spot to grab a drink and a bite! Their tap selection is solid and they'll open anything you can find in the coolers to drink on site as well. They've got a great collection of imported and local beers and ciders. In the summer, they do some fun slushies too! We've been coming here for drinks for years, but we recently got to try the pizza and it did not disappoint! We tried the calamari pizza, the honey + pepperoni and the burrata and tomato app. The hot and pepperoni pizza was definitely the star. The crust is chewy and light and everything was just delish.

Arlene S.

Yelp
This rating is purely for their pizza. I was visiting from out of town and hoping to get pizza on the way back to the hotel. I ordered a pepperoni pizza through their website which the site mentions the order will be ready in 15 minutes. I waited additional 20 minutes upon arrival which I understands as they were extremely busy and pack. They have a variety selections of ales, IPAs, ciders, and stouts. It is a great location to hangout with friends. They even have snacks available for purchase, which some of them I have never seen them in the grocery store. Once again, this rating is based on the pizza I ordered. The pizza was super greasy and the cheese wasn't quite melted. The cheese was chewy and doesn't pull. The tomato sauce doesn't stand out. I do like their crust but the breading/pizza itself was quite soggy from the grease.

Nolan L.

Yelp
If there is a beer & wine heaven Elizabeth Station is it! Don't be fooled by the crayola colored fence outside, this in not a daycare. It is in fact a bar/beer & wine store/ pizza place. I haven't tried their pizza yet but I've heard nothing but good things about it. What I can tell you is that their beverage selection is every craft beer lovers dream. They have a huge selection of craft brews from across the pacific northwest, and of course various other random beers. I even found a few gems from Maui Brewing Co. on this visit. One of my favorite things about this place is that you can buy a variety of beers in single cans giving you more options to take home. Or of course you can kick it old school and grab a six pack of your fav. They also carry a good size selection of ciders, including my fav Finnriver's Habanero Cider yummm. They even have both indoor and heated outdoor seating if you want to enjoy your beverage there. Cheers!

Joe T.

Yelp
I have a pizza addiction. I love it and seek it out and pretty much eat it almost every week. I have my 10,000 hours in pizza eating and am an expert if I do say so myself. Elizabeth Station is the best pizza I have had in Washington state. Just delicious in every way. Excellent crust, quality toppings, zesty sauce and perfect proportions. Top it off with one of the best beer selections in the state, sorry Chucks but there's is better, and you have an unbeatable combination I will get every time I come to B'ham. Good lord help me it's tasty!

Colin B.

Yelp
Great beer selection plus alternatives like cider, ginger beer and kombucha. Not to mention great pizza! Lots of outdoor seating too. This place is a neighborhood favorite, wonderful place to meet up with people over a drink.

Erica W.

Yelp
Listen y'all...their pizza is easily one of the best in Bham. Every pizza I've tried so far has been artisanal and delicious!

J A.

Yelp
Really fun place to have a beer and some snacks. Kid friendly. Wife and I come here and play cribbage and have a beer and snacks. Last I was there they had a three beer limit so people are not becoming too intoxicated which I actually like and respect.

Hannah B.

Yelp
This is a very cool location to hang out with friends and have some drinks. There's a huge cooler section with various alcoholic beverages. A cider room offers a variety of deliciousness. Non-alcoholic beverages and packaged snacks are available for purchase. The food here is delicious. The garlic cheese fries are pretty amazing. Don't plan on getting hammered here. There is a 3 drink maximum. And whatever you do, even if they're having an event, do not open a beverage on the property that you've purchased in store. They'll confiscate your drinks since you didn't pay a corkage fee. This is always busy. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.

Maria-Pia D.

Yelp
This is a craft beer lovers paradise! They also carry cider & wine. I remember the first time I went in (I'm from Vancouver BC, we have nothing like this) I could not stop smiling. A place where you can enjoy a plethora of beers on tap, take some home in a crowler or growler or check out the massive selection of bottles against the wall in fridge - it's like an adults only 7-11 (yes that's a tagline). I mean, OPTIONS! They have a cereal bar, a rotating fresh menu (the aioli with the fries!) Lots of crunchy snacks, both sweet and savoury. It's become a ritual for me to stop in here every time I go to Bellingham. I cannot miss out because when I walk in and see the rotating selection for the great beer + the nice service staff, it makes me happy everytime.

Tara E.

Yelp
Okay. Pros - quickly prepared -they have us a big a** box for all the drinks we ordered -TONs of draaaaaanjs to chose from - really like their thin crusts Cons - The pizza was awfully greasy, but I think that happens with pepperoni sometimes -their cheese pizza was too weird for me. I think most people would like it, but there were just too many fancy cheeses on it. I'm a simple creature. I need a frat boy pizza on the menu. No arugula. No Parmesan. Just mozzarella, or whatever you can get at Costco, and some tomato sauce.

Yelp
I LOVE this place. I can't believe I haven't reviewed this spot yet, but I have a beer in hand that I just purchased from here so there is no better time than the present! Elizabeth Station is a total locals secret, but needs to be known by all. They carry hundreds of cans of beer, cider and bottles of wine. They are the literal beer heaven. That's not even to mention all the beers on tap! They have a massive tap list that covers most of Washington, Oregon and Montana, and also beers from Hawaii, California and all over the place. If you are looking to get into beers, this is your spot. Not only do they have every beer you'd ever want, but their always friendly employees will help you figure out a good combo. I love going here and getting a mixed six pack of all the local breweries new offerings so I can just try one instead of getting an entire six pack before I know if I like it. I also love that while Bellingham is a total IPA town, they have a good variety of other beers as well. I am more of a lager, hefe or pilsner gal, so I enjoy that they have some fun varieties of these too with fruity flavors and fun labels like the IPA's.

Camille W.

Yelp
Somehow Bellingham has their pizzas and beers down. Elizabeth Station being one of the locations that does well. It is a little on the pricier side but the options of beers are unbeatable. I got pizza for PI day and was not disappointed. I ordered for pick up but I know that they have options for delivery too, which is unique for alcohol. Small town benefits I guess! The hard kombucha options were a perfect pair for my pizza. I ordered the pepperoni and honey. Sounds weird I know, but the sweet and salty mix was *chef's kiss.* But do note that the size is perfect for 2-3 people. We came back for seconds and having to choose beer by the can/glass is a whole experience in itself. Such a large selection and there's always something new! Craft and local beer galore!

Jeremy W.

Yelp
Great selection of beverages. Great pizza! Nice vibes too. While the younger kid was in martial arts class up the street, came down for a quick beverage.

Tj C.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place go there once a week to get my specialty drinks that they have is just a great place this to be a mellow chill spot, converse and engage with new people and your friends and family

Bethan C.

Yelp
Great handcrafted pizzas, and an awesome selection of brews. This was our first time visiting and the atmosphere was really nice, kind restaurant workers, outdoor covered and heated seating, and it's located close to the water. Great pizza place!

Don R.

Yelp
Good times! Lots of beer and reasonable pizza. Outdoor seating is functional and fun.

Trish S.

Yelp
The best brother in law in the world had a birthday in Bellingham. We're in San Diego. He likes beer. Enter, Elizabeth Station! You can order beers online and they'll deliver them locally (how cool!) with a couple days notice. We set it up and... he wasn't home. You gotta be there, 21+ with an ID to accept beer. Elizabeth Station graciously tried again, and whomp whomp, the birthday boy in question was out and about. The customer service is such that they both called and emailed to let me know the situation, and then kindly held the items for us in the cooler till the intended recipient was informed of his liquid presents and went to snag them. Thanks for bearing with us ES! Large selection, stellar hometown vibes, knowledgeable beer folks. Shop local, drink beer.

Morgan M.

Yelp
Just moved closer to Elizabeth station and I love it here! I love being able to walk a few blocks and have endless options of beers to pick from. The pizza is also stellar with exceptionally friendly staff. A few weeks okay they had a daily special salad that had arugula, peaches, burrata, and lemon. It was so refreshing on a hot summer day. The staff told me the peaches were grown from the owner too. My one wish is go have more sour beers available. Many more beers will be drank'n here!

Michael K.

Yelp
A plethora of good beer choices both canned and on a rotating draft pour choices. Plenty of choices for the concerning palate. What really surprises me is the great pizza they make! It goes well with a pint of beer.

Mark O.

Yelp
Elizabeth Station has an excellent and widely varying rotating tap + EVERY imaginable bottled beer available in Western Washington. There is ample table space, and a Cider Room. In addition to the self-service bottle beers, non-alcoholic drinks and packaged snacks which may be purchased at the counter, there is usually a food truck just outside the front door.

Albert H.

Yelp
Ordered a pepperoni Pizza from here for pick up. Pizza was great and service was awesome. Have eaten in here Asli and the experience was the same

Rita O.

Yelp
Who would've thought that this mini-mart-turned-beer-store would have such good food? Their pizza is, in my opinion, one of the best in town. I've also tried their sliders and they were delish! But the pizza...soooo good. I love sitting on the little patio and watching the world go by. Great location, service, booze, snacks, and food. I always leave Elizabeth Station happy!

Bob M.

Yelp
If you are into variety for beer and wine, you found the spot. Are you wanting to try what could be your next new favorite, come on in. This place you can come alone or with a friend or 2 its a fun place.

chelseeeaa M.

Yelp
Best beer selection and pizza in Bellingham ! This place was the nicest surprise. It's a beer depot, snack stop and pizzeria with heated patio. Pizza is Neapolitan style and VERY good. Definitely will be back

Jasmine S.

Yelp
I love this place. It's about a block from my house, which is dangerous for my finances, it's so tempting to go all the time! The selection of beer and cider here is huge. It's fun just to look through all the different kinds! They have fridges with bottles and cans, and beer on tap too. They also have a nice wine and mead section in the back. They cater to all budgets, you can get anything from a $1.50 can to an upscale bottle. They always have a food truck here. So far I've only ordered the fries topped with chicken tenders, ranch and cheese. Yes it is as delicious and decadent as it sounds! Every night of the week this place is crowded, I like it though, it puts out a fun, welcoming vibe. It is tough to sit in the front though, but you can usually stand at the bars by the fridges, or sit in the back room.

Hiroko M.

Yelp
For a beer lover, must go place. They carry so many different brands of beer from all over the world. Someone was looking for a beer from Levanworth, and he was thrilled to find it in this store. I especially I like their backroom, it's cozy and nice atmosphere. ビール好きの人にはたまらないお店。世界中からの色々なビールがあり、いつも沢山の人が食事をしながらビールを飲んでいます。私は奥の部屋の雰囲気がとっても好きです。

Kevin J.

Yelp
Went here twice in a week just to reaffirm that they have the best pizza in Bellingham. It is definitely the best I found so far. It has a great community feel and a great selection of beverages.

Shaylene M.

Yelp
Love this place they had the newest food truck in bellingham called Big Trouble Truck and we had been wanting to go try it as well as enjoy a drink..we ordered our food and came in it was quite busy but they were great at being fast in helping the customers zoom through the line..i had a Rose and the hubs had an IPA we got seats in the play area they have for kids which was great since we had our kiddos with us they were thoroughly entertained with the books and puzzles..i like how cozy this place is and how great the staff is we will make this our hang out to ride our bikes to!

Sara Y.

Yelp
I want to update my review... the food here is waaaaay better than it used to be. Still a great selection of beers and other things... but the food is now worth eating and I couldn't be happier. I haven't tried everything yet, but what I have tried makes me want to go back and do so.

Erika O.

Yelp
Elizabeth Station stands alone. Hands down. How? To start, it's in a category all of it's own. Wall to wall selection of beers, wines, ciders, beverages big and small- popular cult classics to obscure "war starting" small batch companies. (I start the war personally with anyone who runs off with my Snowdrift Cider. Try me. I dare you.) The Station hosts huge beer nights, seasonal tastings, special release casks and even singing at times. There are huge tables for eating from their rad cereal bar, their nachos, chips or making new friends while sipping on a brew! Wine drinkers or small glass starters beware- they don't care your if your ounce-age is smaller than a regular glass...you only get three drinks. And they'll split a bottle into multiple drinks if it's too big. SO DRINK OFF TAP AND TAKE HOME THE FRIDGE GOODIES WITH YA, MATE! On that note, they have 14+ taps and specials always rotating. They're happy to let you taste and try until something hits you. Definitely high on the service element too- they'll help you search, google or rummage through their stock to find your perfect bev. With the addition of their new Cidre room (cider and wine ON TAP TOO), there is a little more space and for sure better gluten free drink options. Parking can be tough, so aim to get there a couple minutes early. And you'll meet me personally if you haunt E Station in October. I'm a massive fan of their pumpkin beers.

Haley E.

Yelp
1,000 beers and 100 ciders, bottled and canned! They organize it by state so you can find what you'd like quicker and know how local it is. I am not a beer fan but I love hard cider. It was really exciting to find so many single cans of cider to take home and try- it eliminates the chance of buying a 6 pack only to realize you don't like it much! In addition to single cans, they also sell 22 oz bottles and 6 packs, depending on the drink. I was happy to find single cans of my favorite cider here that I can't find elsewhere in Bellingham! They also have beers and ciders on tap if you'd like to stay a while. They sell growlers in two sizes if you fall in love with your drink and want to take some home. There is also a huge variety of snacks! I was blown away by it all.

Michael H.

Yelp
Been meaning to hit the Elizabeth Station for a while. Was happy we finally had a chance to do so! We arrived on a Friday evening around 5 PM and it was pretty packed. The beer selection on tap is excellent, and they had wine, which made the wife happy! We were underwhelmed by the food. The descriptions on the menu just didn't match what actually made it to table. The Plants Platter ($10) had some dried (fried) kale, broccoli and sweet potato spirals. The description - 'roasted, fried & fresh seasonal vegetables served with an herbed cashew cream.' Best part of that was the herbed cashew cream. We ordered the sweet potato spirals separately, so it would have been nice to know that the primary item being served on the Plants Platter was something we already ordered! The pork larb lettuce cups tasted great, with a mix of peanuts, cucumbers, basil and mint. But they probably used 1 Butter lettuce leaf for all three cups?!? Ended up using a fork, as the 1/3 of a lettuce leaf proved to be inadequate as a serving vessel. The beer coolers are impressive, as were the cider and wine options. And the service was great; people were friendly and attentive. They do offer crowlers (32 oz cans of beer they can right in front of you), but they charge $2 for the can. I don't think I've ever gotten a crowler of canned beer before in which they wanted to charge for the can. Why not just bake that into the price? Overall, I'd go back for the beer cooler selection alone. But I would probably just order from a local food truck if one is parked nearby.

Julian T.

Yelp
A true Bellingham treasure and gem. I haven't been back here in over a decade and it was such a trip down memory lane. Great people always accompany this joint. Amazing selection of bottle and draft beer. Out door patio area and even a nice little food menu. This a must stop for any hole in the wall beer lover or anyone looking for an alternative to a coffee joint to hang out and enjoy some good stuff!

Sherrie M.

Yelp
The "Liz" was my go-to before and during the pandemic. It is walking distance from my house. Their stock of beverages is diverse. They have kombucha, beer, wine and ciders, lots of munchies, and occasionally cooked food from their kitchen. Too bad the food truck went away, we hope it comes back again once things settle down again. During the pandemic, we could order and pick up, or sit outside when the weather wasn't too brisk. Looking forward to being able to sit inside again.

Steve V.

Yelp
I finally went here for food and beer which is a bit of weird thing to review because the sandwiches actually come from Avenue Bread bakery (just heated here), but I think the chili was local. This is a beer place and not really a food place (except all the snacks),.. but for the minimal effort they put into food,.. they do a great job. We had really good chili nachos and 2 sandwiches, both prepared with love,. and the beer was exceptional.

Shane 2.

Yelp
Great beer. Pizza could use some help. They have a good flavored crust but roll it out way too thin in the middle and way too thick on the ends. You wind up with a ton of dry crust and a super soggy thin middle.
