This is my second time eating here. The first time was way better imo. The food this time was lacking due to it being so busy. My gyro burrito was good but the hash browns were pretty sad. Im not sure they were cooked all the way and they were excessively greesy. My cucumber sauce was messy on the outside of the container. My wife had a skillet delight and she said it was okay. However, there was a piece of chicken in it, even though there was not chicken listed in the dish on the menu and it was only one piece so like how did that even get in there. Service was really bumping. The host was polite and we had to wait for our table but not very long. Overall food was okay and the workers are nice. Tell the kitchen to slow down and yall would be perfect.

We were in town for a Christmas party & found this gem the next day… LOVED IT!! Great food, atmosphere, service & prices. Defiantly will make it a regular stop when we’re back in town!

Wow wow wow!!! We are in town for Gary Con. We’ve eaten there twice the last two mornings. Top notch service and food!! We joked about making the 4 1/2 drive for breakfast one morning. Everything we’ve eaten is sooooo good. I saw a one star review cuz the food was “oily” and made her sick. Sis go get your gall bladder checked. None of our food was abnormally oily. In the pictures. I heard this little breakfast place was one of the best in Delavan,so my wife and I decided to check it out when we were here on our vacation a few weeks back. The food, is five stars! The service is five stars! And the atmosphere was five stars! We sat outside. It was a beautiful summer sunny morning on the patio and we ate our breakfast and enjoyed some very well brewed coffee together. My wife and I ordered and shared the biscuits and gravy, 3 eggs over hard, and a side order of bacon and crispy hash browns! The biscuits and gravy very well presented. Biscuits are fluffy and the gravy is very tasty. Hash browns were very good. Crispy as well as the bacon. Highly recommend every dish! I highly recommend stopping in at Elizabeth's Cafe for breakfast if you are in the Delavan area. We will see you next time guaranteed!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered the vegetarian omelette with American fries and rye toast. The omelette was excellent. The eggs were perfect. The only thing I suggest is getting a better quality, feta cheese that I added to the omelette it tastes a little rubbery, not a fan of their choice of feta. The American fries were perfect. The rice toast could’ve been toasted a little bit more but it was good. The coffee is great, as far as the customer service it was excellent very quick really good spot if you’re in town to stop and get breakfast highly recommend great job

Impressive food portion at excellence price. Silverware needs to be upgraded. I urge them to have a makeover. Some customers are confused about getting entrance. Definitely, we are coming back again because of the excellent price.

Nice place recently expanded and renovated. Coffee was great and my Breakfast Skillet was delicious. I look forward to another visit soon!

Casual, local, family owned diner. They use to serve dinner but now it's just breakfast and lunch. Our server was nice and took our order promptly. The food was prepared quickly. The menu is very reasonably priced. It was $17 all in for a Denver omelette and a 2 egg/sausage plate. Both included potatoes and toast. Cash or credit. Easy street parking. Best breakfast place in the area.

Best breakfast spot in Walworth County! Incredible food, my favorites are the green eggs and ham Benedict (pesto eggs Benedict with avocado) and the savory Swedish pancakes! They recently renovated, expanding into the next door business which opened up quite a bit of space and reduced wait times for a table significantly! Super fast and friendly service - I have never had a bad experience here. Such a friendly, local vibe, make sure to check it out if you are in the area - you will not be disappointed!

What a cute downtown- and Elizabeth's is right on the main drag. Great tables outside, friendly and fast service, and LARGE and yummy salads!

Yeah, I saw the many positive reviews. When I'm on the road, I seek the kinds of places that locals flock to. I didn't plan on writing a negative review, but I must be honest. I dined here on a weekday with a group of friends. For openers, too much seating is crammed into this tiny place. I'm not claustrophobic, but I sure felt squeezed. Most menu items here cost under $10, with just a single item exceeding $12. If this seems remarkably inexpensive compared to prices of diner chow elsewhere, adjust your expectations accordingly. Those who ordered the most basic egg and pancake dishes seemed satisfied. Ditto burgers. The coffee was good. Everything else? Read on ... I and a companion ordered turkey club sandwiches. Served with a bowl of soup and fries (we substituted fresh fruit), the price was a mere $9. The chicken noodle soup, which packed a beyond-salty wince-inducing wallop, was actually the best part of the meal. Then our club sandwiches arrived. While they looked pretty on the plate, they were wholly inedible: Soggy toast, undercooked bacon, overripe tomatoes, and imitation turkey-ish lunchmeat loaf. Beyond disgusting. The fruit was edible except for the watermelon. Rejecting the sandwiches uneaten, my companion ordered a burger and I dug into an app sampler. I found the onion rings to be excessively greasy and the mozzarella sticks contained more crust than filling. Only the chicken tenders were edible. Other lunch items were similarly problematic. Our friends described their eggs Benedict and a chicken salad sandwich as "the absolute worst." Since our server managed to be both pleasant and stoic, I'm giving this joint 2 stars instead of 1.

Cute little spot with amazing service... Everyone was so very friendly! Breakfast was just average, but I most definitely would try lunch next time. I'm in town!

This place is always a destination when I'm in Delavan the service is prompt and friendly the atmosphere is inviting and clean but most importantly everything I've ever ordered has been delicious, and I always feel I get more than what I've paid for

We loved Elizabeth's. Good old fashioned restaurant with good food. Servers are friendly. Has a warm home town feel. They made substitutions for me being vegetarian. We will definitely be back

This looked like a good place to stop for breakfast on my way to IL so I stopped by on a Sunday morning at 7:15 and the place was 80% full so I chose the right place. I like how it was decorated with woods and stone accents. They have a mix of breakfast counter, tables and booths and I chose a booth. The menu is typical WI breakfast so it's not a Greek phone book but something for everyone. Lots of good stuff but I'm a sucker for country fried steak even if next to no one serves a home made one anymore so frozen will be ok. My food arrive at an appropriate time frame for how busy they were and the sizzling grill sound never stopped while I was there. My country fried steak breakfast looked good and a nice way to start my day even though rainy IL weather canceled my out door plans. The country fried steak was cooked to golden perfection and topped with can country gravy which was mild. My hash browns with fried onions were delicious. My sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly. My sourdough toast was weird because it was super crunchy and lacked the chew of sourdough toast, I didn't understand what happened there. Overall it's a nice breakfast place and if you get there too late you might have to wait for a table on the weekends.

Showed up on a Sunday at noon. Party of 2 with no wait. We sat outside and the servers were really attentive to us. Inside the building, it's VERY tight. It has a really nice environment but heading to the bathrooms in the back I felt like a bull in a China shop. The ambiance is nice though. Homey. I liked the food. I really enjoyed the coffee, and the country fried steak and eggs was super good. I didn't care for the hash browns but it was so much food I didn't care. The gravy was good and hearty and the eggs were cooked well. I chose sourdough on the side. Overall would recommend if you're in delavan.

I was greeted as I entered by a friendly young man and was shown to a quiet area, away from the entrance. My coffee was on the table not more than 30 seconds after I sat down. My order for biscuits and gravy, eggs and hash browns were delivered quickly. The food was good and service was fantastic. The great attitude of the employees made me feel like a rock star . I will certainly return.

I will keep this short and as sweet as possible, we love Elizabeth's and it's been our go to for breakfast during our weekends at the lake. But this experience soured my love for Elizabeth's and the party of 5 that were there this Sunday will most likely not be returning. Everything went smoothly, as usual until our server Stephanie G. came to drop off our food. When our pancake got stuck to the bottom of a plate since she wasn't using a tray and stacked the plates. She set the pancake sandwiched plate down on the table (meaning the pancake was basically a place mat) when or friend lifted the plate grabbed the pancake and handed it to Stephanie. She quickly apologized and said she would get a new one. To which she then went to the kitchen and came back within seconds with a "new" pancake. But guess what? We flipped it over and same plate indent in the cake! Not only was it just gross but honestly just lazy and disrespectful. I'm a server I get it line cooks can be sassy when you mess up. But I would never serve a guest food that was touched by a usually half assed wiped table and multiple dirty hands. This makes me sad, and I hope this doesn't happen in the future. Do better Stephanie G.! (This isn't against Elizabeth's still a great place just one bad egg that ruined it for us)

I went here for the first time thanks to Yelp reviews and this restaurant did not disappoint! My 2x2x2 was excellent with 2 pancakes, 1 piece of bacon, one piece of sausage (instead of 2 of the same) and scrambled eggs were all excellent and same with the very kind and attentive waitress. The prices are very reasonable but the ambiance is average for a breakfast place and it was very snug with tables. I will definitely be back when I return. I give this place 4.5 stars.

Service is excellent! I asked for scramble melts based on photo I saw here at yelp but it came out nothing like it, it was just OK. And the fruits on the side didn't feel fresh. It's a cute restaurant in the town. I'd recommend checking this place out.

This quaint cafe was very reasonably priced, good, no wait on a Monday morning. We had quick service and liked the broad menu. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars from me was It was a little dark and chilly inside. I just wrapped up in my sweater like most folks. Maybe it was the location of our booth. Coffee flowed and was good for people watching

Usually good breakfast fare. Today I decided to have lunch. I ordered a French dip. It came with a bunch of sautéed onions and green peppers. Not normal. Then as I picked the sandwich up it fell apart. The meat tasted like sucking on a wash rag after I dipped it in the au juice (sp). The waitress didn't bother to ask why I left almost the whole sandwich. It will be a while before I go back.

The food was quite decent. I don't mean that to sound dismissive. Most restaurant food is abysmal and this place, especially for the price, is a good value with decent food. It's not GREAT but it's good. The service was good as well. We got refills of water in a timely manner, we weren't bothered excessively, they cleared plates quickly, etc. So why the 1 star rating? Well, when I went there I was with my girlfriend and we're an affectionate couple. We don't get gratuitous in public but we hold hands, canoodle, kiss, etc. We were in a booth near the back of the restaurant, and I do mean *the back*. We had our lips locked in a kiss and very rudely a guy from the kitchen area with a central/Eastern European accent says something rudely about "...is a family restaurant" and then proceeds to hover around us while we sit there. If they had a problem with us kissing, cool no problem, you can have our server come by and politely say "hey guys, we're glad you two like each other but this is making the staff uncomfortable and we don't want our patrons to worry about shielding their children from displays like this" or whatever they think is appropriate. What isn't ok is some jackass who hasn't spoken to us yelling across the aisle in a condescending manner and then watching us like a hawk until we leave. FUCK THAT GUY FUCK HIS SHITTY ATTITUDE FUCK HIS BEHAVIOR FUCK THAT PLACE I'm NEVER going back there which is a shame because like I said, the food was decent and the service was good.

Small place with a nice atmosphere and great food. Best of all was $60 total for 4 adults and 1 child. Can't beat that! I had the 2-4-6-8 combo which was 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage and 2 pieces of French toast. Everything was good to perfection. My wife had the half sandwich (tuna) and soup. Said it was great. Definitely will be here again when we visit lake Geneva

My sister was in town recently, and we came upon this cute cafe in Delevan. Walking in, we immediately felt welcomed by staff and patrons alike. We were sat at a comfortable booth and we're greeted right way by our smiling server, Stephanie. My sister ordered Mexican skillet and I the Eggs Benedict. Yummy....We were served promptly and with such grace from Stephanie. We couldn't have asked for a more positive experience start to finish. I will definitely be coming back for the stellar service and delicious food. Thank you Elizabeth's Cafe!

Fantastic food, unbelievable low prices for the generous portions and quality. Staff very friendly and efficient, we were there at a busy time yet they were organized and welcoming. They really did a great job, honestly the most impressive dining experience I've had in a very very long time. It's nice to see a well managed team that takes pride in delivering an excellent experience for their customers. We are in town to visit family, and will be sure to stop in again next time.

I stopped for breakfast on my way to a meeting near Rockford. The team of servers was amazing. They were attentive to my needs, as well the needs of their "regulars". Service was speedy, the food was abundant and tasty, and the conversation with some of the daily customers was entertaining. I would definitely recommend Elizabeth's Cafe to anyone traveling through the Delavan area.

I had the pleasure of taking my family out for breakfast we enjoyed our memorial weekend out and about and was very pleased with Elizabeth's cafe! Our server Stephanie g was over the top and very attentive she made sure everything was enjoyable and was just outstanding will definitely recommend her as our server we will absolutely be returning when in town!

Ordered a skillet breakfast and it came in like 5 minutes. Everything about it was undercooked. The potatoes, vegetables, eggs and even the toast was barely toasted. I wasn't in a hurry. I pushed away the plate uneaten and wasn't even asked about it. Sorry I came and I won't be back.

This place is good. I went with my friend, and he got the pancake's, and I got SOGGY waffles. Not like this place is bad. It's just because of this horrible incident. The bread is rock solid, and the oyster crackers are tasteless. That is just my opinion. -Jonny Dash

We were looking for a comfortable place for brunch. We found what we were looking for. Elizabeth's cafe is a great diner type restaurant complete with lots of choices on the menu. Friendly servers. Generous portions. Great prices. We will definitely go back when we are in town.

A great breakfast spot in Delavan! It's worth the trip if you're in Lake Geneva because the service is friendly and fast and they serve great coffee. My husband stumbled across it on Yelp and they had good reviews, but I didn't realize what great deals they have. A whole breakfast for around $6, that's hard to beat and coffee was only $1.65. I tried the Mexican skillet with my eggs over easy and they cooked the hash browns extra crispy like I like it and the seasoning on the ground beef was subtle and not overwhelming and they serve this green hot sauce that is awesome! You can also choose Tabasco. They served the sour cream and salsa on the side and I was watching my calories so glad they didn't put it on top of the skillet. Everyone was there in town and sits fill up fast, but the service is quick and the wait was not long.

Stopped there today, Nov 4th, on our sanity ride in the country. First time there and it was a pleasant surprise. Nice selections at reasonable prices. Senior selection of veal cutlet, mashed potatoes with gravy, and broccoli. Soup as well, chicken noodle, and a scoop of ice cream. $9. Wife had soup and 1/2 of a chicken salad sandwich that she liked. Busy place at 1pm on a Saturday. Credit card accepted with no CC fee. We liked it.

We went here on a Monday. 3/4 full constant people going and coming. Popular place. We were seated right away. Server took our order. I had eggs and French toast w/side of hash browns. Wife had a country style eggs Benedict. Sausage gravy instead of hollandaise sauce. Different but she thought it was tasty. Mine was good however I would've preferred the French toast had a little more crunch and flavor. Hash browns as well needed more "fried or crunch" to them. Not the healthiest way I know but that's how I expect them to be cooked. Overall good experience, we'd go again.

Have eaten here several times before and always great service! Wait staff go out of their way to please you. Soups are homemade and very good. Specials like their beef stroganoff is very good with large chunks of tender beef. Prices are reasonable. Very nice cafe! Breakfast is always good to! I love the platters. Eggs done perfectly and hash browns tasty and cooked perfectly. Restaurant is clean.

Love this place! Excellent food & service every time you go in. They even give free breakfast for birthdays which was a pleasant surprise.
