Went there for brunch with a group of 5 during our visit to NYC and selected it based on the good reviews on google. Given that it was a Sunday, there wasn’t any line up and we could easily find a spot. Eliza’s Local is a nice place with a beautiful environment, good ambiance and great staff. They are “Eliza’s local” as the bar is located right besides where Elizabeth Hamilton used to live 20 years after the death of her husband and the owners would like to think she would have called the bar “her local” as the place aims to supply NY local food and drink. There are photos of her in the bar too. Overall, the food was fine and felt like being made from fresh ingredients but nothing special unlike what we expected from the reviews.

I had some local beers here, especially for happy hour, $6 beer, I ordered Bronx citus pale ale with fruity taste.

Came here for a happy hour with some friends... I got their cocktail "Eastern Rickey" and it was pretty good! Would recommend that drink. The atmosphere here is not bad but the place itself can be pretty small if you have a large group of friends. Still a nice place to mingle I guess.

The place is nicely decorated. It's also spacious and clean. Now for the two most important things for a place to survive service and Food. The waiter took our order and clocked out. Left us with the only person available for service the bartender . Mind you we trying to have a sit-down dinner. Unacceptable! So it's a Thursdays night not to busy. Bartender never check in on us, which I don't blame them as much as bad management! No reason to not have two waiters on a Thursday night or stop serving food after the waiters leave. So the food....The food was the most bland tasteless food I have ever tried to eat! Keyword "tried" we left a whole plate of food and drowned the other plate in hot sauce. Such a waste of money! I would never go back and I would not recommend you try it either!

I couldn’t have had a better experience throwing a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend at Eliza’s. The owners were an absolute pleasure to deal with and helped me make this night extra special for the birthday boy and his guests. Most places have all these rules, limitations and fees when it comes to reserving party space - but none of that here! We had a great time!

Relatively new place and one of my favorite. They've got a really unique vibe in the city- despite being in St. Mark's, almost feels like you're in a different city. Really cozy interior, so many craft beers on draft, and the nachos are AMAZING. As of now not that crowded because people might not know about it, so it's the perfect time to visit. Guarantee it's going to become a hot place soon.

We hosted our start to the New Year networking celebration at Eliza's Local. Our small group of members had a phenomenal year as a networking group and recorded over $2.2 million in business. Our event planners selected the place because of the great location and neighborhood, and a warm atmosphere that fit our budget. The food was delicious, considering that it is bar food, there was a great variety of drinks, including non-alcoholic beverages. We recommend this venue for casual business meetings and networking. Thank you, Ciaran and Eliza's Local staff, for the great reception.
