Elk Cove Camp is a perfect spot for an overnight when taking the timberline trail around Hood. No camping allowed in the cove but there's lots of places just before you arrive either on the elk cove trail or timberline.

Hiking clockwise from Timberline Lodge, found great campsite right alongside a creek... just before entering Elk Cove. Loved it!
