"A major overhaul is underway at the 34th Street Ella Retail Center courtesy of Revive Development, which is looking to insert a coffee shop (potentially Avid or another purveyor) into the repurposed Express Wheel & Tire store on the premises. According to the project's architect, construction includes raising the existing roof to accommodate a new storefront and canopy, adding a new 5,000-square-foot building, and renovating the site so current locally established businesses can be relocated in an updated 16,000-square-foot structure; reports also say the new coffee shop will include a drive-through window." - Alaena Hostetter
