Ellen Noël Art Museum

A stunning building and two very sweet reception staff members welcomed us. It was a dream come true to see the Halston exhibit. Anyone in fashion should see this collection and any human would be touched by Halston’s story. Very comprehensive set-up with respect to his decades of work. Halston and Johnny Cash exhibits simultaneously is quite a treat. Beautiful museum and I will be following them for future updates. Thank you for having us!

What a truly wonderful experience we had visiting the Ellen Noël Art Museum! This gem is a must-see. The current exhibition was thought-provoking and beautifully curated, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Speaking of local gems, we made our visit even better by treating ourselves to a service beforehand at Por Ali Spa, which is just blocks away inside the Eleganté! It was the ideal way to start a day of art and culture. If you're looking for a top-tier day spa or need a true wellness retreat, I highly recommend their relaxing massage and pedicure services. After an amazing session at Por Ali Spa, we felt completely refreshed and ready to appreciate the art. Combining a visit to this vibrant Art Museum with the deep relaxation offered by Por Ali Spa creates the ultimate local outing. Come support both of these fantastic places!

2025. there's Halston and Johnny Cash exhibits, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the lobby. The restrooms (two sets), all tastefully and colorfully tiled, wife showed me the interior of lady's room, there's even 3d butterfly on the ceiling. They really put art elements and details into facilities.

The Noel Art Museum is a true gem in West Texas. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, the atmosphere is calm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Every visit feels inspiring there’s always something new to appreciate, whether it’s local artwork or traveling collections. A must visit for anyone in the Midland Odessa area.

My visit to the Ellen Noël Art Museum in Odessa, TX, was inspiring and peaceful. 🖼️✨ The galleries were beautifully curated, showcasing both local talent and captivating traveling exhibits. The atmosphere was quiet yet full of creative energy, making it easy to lose track of time while exploring. A hidden West Texas gem worth visiting!

Wow!!! What a great place in Odessa! Parking was easy. The staff was super friendly and helpful! And finally the art of Salvador Dali was COOOOL!!! This was a very affordable family destination that was extremely enjoyable. We are lucky to have this place!

Due to construction the exhibits have been moved next door to the John Ben Shepperd building aka the President's Museum. It's totally free. You can currently see a small portion of the President's archival material as well as 2 exhibits from the Ellen Noel museum. The quilt exhibit was particularly unique and interesting. They also have a nice gift shop with soaps, fancy lotions, jewelry, blown glass knickknacks, stuffed toys and a few shirts. Also, don't forget to check out one of the Bush houses behind the museum. Definitely worth a visit, what else are you going to do in Odessa?

Wow! This is a must-see for both visitors and locals. Enjoy free entry to this museum which boasts multiple galleries both permanent and changing. Right now the Texas photography exhibit was so moving. The outdoor sculpture garden is a sensory experience appealing to the eyes, ears and sense of touch. Kids and adults will love the gift shop. Ask for a tour if available the education staff is superb. The museum offers monthly educational activities and summer programming as well.
