"There’s a reason you can find Ellenos in every supermarket in the city, and it’s because it’s f*cking amazing. The Greek yogurt at this little stand is displayed in a case as if it were gelato, with flavors ranging from lemon curd and tiramisu to marionberry pie. Just be warned - this stuff is thick and really filling. photo credit: Erin Lodi" - Aimee Rizzo

The staff are really friendly, the yogurt is amazing. Easily the best Greek Yogurt I ever had, they are famous for their marionberry flavour, I got the maroon berry berry pie flavour instead because the crunch made the whole yogurt more enjoyable. You can get to taste the yogurt as well before buying, just like ice cream.

Google
This place has absolutely delicious Greek yogurt. Their offer so many flavor options and have different sizes that you can order from. This way, you can enjoy it as a cup while you walk in Pike Market or you can order bigger containers to bring home. They have a points system if you chose to opt in. Service is fast. They take only card payment, no cash. I love their passion fruit Greek yogurt, as well as their honey matcha blueberry and I tried one of their yogurt that had pieces of dark chocolate and almonds, very decadent and delicious ! Their Marion berry one was very nice too. You cannot miss this place. Tip : with the to go cup, you can pick 2 flavors :)

I was just walking around Pike Place for the first time, trying to see the most I could have for the short visit I had. I turned a corner and BAM, the most amazing thing I have ever seen on a street corner. Honestly, I had no idea what this place was at first, I am not from Washington; I got in line and ordered anyway. There were so many great looking flavors, I didn't know what I wanted, so I just started picking. I ended up choosing Lemon Curd, Apple Cinnamon and Passion Fruit. All the ingredients were fresh and everything was clearly homemade. The Lemon Curd had great lemon flavor. I am usually curious and worried about ordering anything lemon flavor because usually restaurants and bakeries seem to add too much sugar; no need to worry with Ellenos, the lemon is spot on. The Apple Cinnamon, may have been apple pie because there were some tasty bits, was possibly my runner up. The classic feel of the apple pie flavors made me feel as if I was in a warm kitchen during the holidays, despite the fact that it was 50°F outside. If there is ever a passion fruit option, I will most likely order it. The Passion Fruit was hard to beat out of the three I bought. The intense tangy sweetness of the passion fruit puree cut into the yogurt perfectly. I really liked that they kept the seeds with the puree, not too many but just a good amount for texture. The Passion Fruit was my favorite out of the three. If I am ever back in the area, I definitely have to come back here again.

I love Ellenos so much. I first tried their yogurt when I found it in a Whole Foods in CA. Ever since then I've been wanting to visit the real thing and I was not disappointed! I tried the Marrionberry Pie flavor and it was sooo good. Definitely a more dessert type yogurt, but it's seriously so amazing. I'd move to Seattle just for this yogurt.

Google
Best yogurt I ever have!! Love the berry mix, the sour taste gives a lil kick and have so much fruit in it. Also tried the strawberry shortcake, if you do like super sweet, I would definitely recommend it. But for me, it’s a bit too sweet for the entire yogurt. Highly recommended this location and will definitely come back again!

Google
I’ve never had green yogurt like this! It was so tangy, smooth, creamy that it almost felt like soft service ice cream — what a TREAT. We tried the olive oil + pink salt, and strawberry shortcake flavor. Both so so so good. Wish I lived near an Ellenos. Looking everywhere in LA grocery stores for it now!

Jen

Google
Great creamy yogurt. They have so many unique flavors, you'll find something you like. The staff was really friendly and nice. I would recommend to have multiple flavors with something of texture like the chocolate brownie batter. The other flavor i got is the marionberry pie. It's good but one cup of the same flavor would be too much for me :)

Google
Ellenos Real Greek Yogurt is known as the best greek yogurt place in Seattle.  It is also one of the popular spots to visit at Pike Place Market. As it has become very popular, Ellenos greek yogurt is now available in many local grocery stores like Safeway, QFC, PCC, Whole Foods, etc.  A real benefit of getting yogurts directly from the Ellenos Real Greek Yogurt shop is a wide variety of selection you can choose from. This time, I tried a pumpkin pie limited edition, a marionberry, and a passion fruit.  They all tasted very good - as you may have heard, Ellenos greek yogurt has its own uniqueness - slightly different from typical greek yogurts you may have had so far.  Ellenos greek yogurt doesn't have the strong smell of typical greek yogurt.  The texture of it is a bit more creamy.

Yelp
Worth the hype. The line may seem long but it goes by fairly quickly. The custard was refreshing and tangy. I had their early grey and really enjoyed the subtle flavor. My girlfriend had their ube and it was delicious! If you're a fan of the Filipino root, you'll love their ube custard. I liked that I didn't feel heavy after eating this sweet treat.

Flora L.

Yelp
Clean, modern interior and friendly service! We were able to sample a few out of 8 flavors. We got ube coconut and bluey vanilla. It is very rich and thick like Greek yogurt but also creamy.

Jenna T.

Yelp
Another solid find thanks to Infatuation IG! This place has a super clean and bright vibe--total mood. They've got 3 stations with the same flavors, and they churn 'em fresh every 20 minutes, so the line moves pretty fast. The gelato? *Chef's kiss*--so creamy and rich, and they don't skimp on the scoops! The ube was legit--actually tasted like ube, not just purple, and the marionberry was a crowd-pleaser. Bonus points for the staff--super patient, friendly, and honest about which flavors they love. Always appreciate the insider scoop!

Chris L.

Yelp
Nice treat if you're braving the crowds at Pike Place Market. The flavors are all really good and they let you sample before deciding. The employees were patient and helpful letting us know what is what. We split a 3 scoop bowl with my family. Ube coconut - it was a good ube flavor and had shredded coconut in it. Greek cookie was good, not super memorable and my least favorite of the bunch. My favorite was the Seattle Fog - it was like a light orange creamsicle. All the flavors were creamy, not to rich or sweet. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

Willy M.

Yelp
I thought it was Ellenos but it's Hellenika, looked interesting to stop and try it out. Came by on a weekday and no line and had time to sample a few flavors that piqued my interest. I was torn between the Coquito or the Ube flavors. We ended up getting the Ube flavor and it was pretty darn good. It's kind of like Greek fro-yo/soft serve/gelato. Doesn't have that sour tang like yogurt. It was delicious and both of us shared the "walkaround' size. It was plenty for us to share and they give you a pretty good-sized scoop. Overall, glad we stopped by to try them out, would come back when in the area. This place is at Pike Place Market, it's on the end by Virginia St or near the original location of Starbucks at PPM. Just go towards that and you will see it.

Ashley W.

Yelp
We got the ube coconut and London fog flavors. The ice cream is so creamy! There is a slight tart, cream cheese like aftertaste. Other than that, I can't tell this is Greek yogurt based! Jr was fun to sample the other flavors like gochujang. I felt a little rushed by the service when I was sampling the flavors. But other than that, they were nice.

Christie L.

Yelp
Ever since the Elleno's in Pike's Place closed down I was keen on trying out their new business, Hellenika. Located at the end of the Pike's Place, Hellenika specializes in Greek yogurt in soft serve form! It can get pretty crowded there especially on weekends so be ready to wait in a line. But the line moves overall pretty quickly! When you walk in you'll notice a very clean white and blue aesthetic. It's a small shop with very few space for seating so most people grab and go with their yogurt. The servers let you try as many flavors as you want! They also have a rotating seasonal menu so definitely try out one of those while you can. This time I got their London Fog and Blue Moon. Both were so delicious! I love the creamy texture or the yogurt and the flavors are also so interesting. You can taste the pops of citrus in both of them that really make their flavors stand out. Overall I highly recommend trying Hellenika if you're in the mood for a healthy dessert!

Abyana F.

Yelp
H ellenika Creamery is a great spot for anyone who loves fresh, high-quality ice cream with a unique twist. Their small-batch approach and limited selection of flavors ensure every scoop is made with care and creativity. I was able to try out all of the flavors before picking one. I tried the black sesame, and it was absolutely delicious--rich, nutty, and perfectly balanced with a subtle hint of yogurt. My friend ordered the Om Ali flavor, which was equally amazing, packed with warmth and spices reminiscent of the classic dessert. The portions are incredibly generous--a single scoop is more than enough to share or save for later! I couldn't even finish mine. If you're looking for fresh, flavorful ice cream that stands out from the usual options, Hellenika Creamery is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Rachel S.

Yelp
We went on a cold Sunday, but it was sunny enough that we felt we could justify a frozen treat. There is always a line I think and they have a staff member outside to manage it--that does not stop some people from brazenly walking in and cutting the line, but that's not the store's fault! The line moves quickly, and staff is friendly despite the high volume work they are doing. You get to sample flavors beforehand. We got the Ube Coconut; beautiful purple color, delicious flavor with little tasty pieces of coconut! There space is clean and modern but there nowhere to sit so prepare to take your "cultured gelato" on a stroll around the market or to the beautiful new waterfront park.

Janet L.

Yelp
Soooo good. One of the best foods in Seattle. The texture is nicely thick. The named flavor (I've had ube, passionfruit, and Biscoff) is somewhat light, but I don't even mind because the dairy and light tang are unparalleled. Of the flavors I've tried, I liked passionfruit the most. Though I'm not usually a fruity dessert person, it went best with the light yogurty tang. The line moves pretty fast even when it's out the door. It can be hard to get the exact flavor you want because it's made super fresh and they run out and have to make more on a regular basis. But I don't think that's a big issue since all the flavors I've had are great. I wish this existed where I live.

Yelp
Hellenika Yogurt is an absolute standout for anyone who loves fresh, authentic Greek yogurt with a unique twist. I ordered the Mezze for the fam- their largest size, which lets you pick four different flavors. Frankly it's a lot of yogurt. I went with Purple Reign (Ube Coconut), Honey Matcha, Maple Pecan and Lemon Curd, and each one was fantastic. The flavors are super fresh and creative, with a smooth, creamy texture. They also offer to-go pints in the freezer for around $13, which is perfect if you want to take some home! The customer service here is amazing. The staff is not only knowledgeable but also super patient - they encouraged me to try samples, happily answered all my questions, and kept a cheerful, friendly demeanor the entire time. It really made the experience even better, and it's clear they love what they do. If you're in the area and craving something fresh, different, and made with care, definitely check out Hellenika Yogurt! They do have some unique rotating flavors. I can't tell you how many folks in the market were drooling at our "mezze" lol!

Maria L.

Yelp
We had to stop by Hellenika's even though it was a cold out! When seeing their store front, it's just so inviting with the colors! I love how the service rep! He was so nice and no limit in what we can taste and he didn't rush us either. Even though we ordered a smaller size of the Ube coconut, it was definitely enough for the both of us. I will be back for some more and I will try another different flavor the next time. As this changes often.

Joy Z.

Yelp
This creamery was awesome. Super friendly staff that let us sample several flavors. Even on a cold day this was a welcome before dinner early evening treat. Every flavor was delicious but we decided on ube coconut, vanilla (my son's choice), and Marion berry. The ube coconut was the best. All had just the right amount of sweetness and tartness. Super smooth and refreshing. Generous portions. Conveniently located a cross the street from Pike. Busy but line moved quickly. Nice, fresh, chic, modern, clean, ambiance.

Tiffany Y.

Yelp
A great place to try this delectable dessert! You get to sample! I enjoy the marionberry! Service and Ambience: Mostly friendly service! It depends who helps out you. No place to sit except outside - first come first serve. I find this a pay and then walk around outside eating, not a sit down vibe. The line nearby it is usually for the "first" Starbucks, so you have to squeeze by people sometimes. Parking: Street parking, but it's in Pike Place Market so it's very busy. Public transportation is easy.

Aida K.

Yelp
In the lineup of restos located at the famous Pike Place Market, this addictive gelato is a must visit with their Greek inspo twist. Dubbed cultured gelato, I would say their gelato has a touch of tangy yogurt infused within. As I was running thru this market, I didn't have time to leisurely enjoy in a cup, so I grabbed a pre-frozen pint. The staff kindly allowed me to sample a couple of flavours and I settled on one of the flavours they had ready to go - the mixed berry. I was instantly addicted once I had a taste! It was definitely more of an airy texture versus a concentrated substance. LOVE their take-out bag, which I still kept. Thanks to the cashier for offering it to me! I would've bought another the very next day, but we did not venture back to this crowded zone. I'll be sure to seek them out again the next time I'm in Seattle. Thankfully they have more than one locale and distributor. (find me on Instagram via @aida.loves )

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. The staff is extremely friendly, offering various samples throughout your Hellenika journey. The ice cream is smooth, creamy, and flavorful...AND....you don't feel horrible eating it knowing it's packed with protein!

Jane F.

Yelp
First off, cultured cream (aka imo frozen yogurt) is so unique for the Seattle area. Not going to lie that I have had better, but this is as close as it gets to the real ordeal. The staff is great and have quite a bit of patience as they help a long line of people who oftentimes taste all their flavors before ordering a scoop or two. Although a long line, it goes pretty quick and allows people, such as myself, who can't make up their minds, more time to look at the flavors available on the menu. Overall, the price is what I consider average price point for a pike place location. Flavors are good, service is good. If this place was closer I would deffo go more often. Give this place a try! PS..there is a slight tang to every flavor because it is cultured! So if you are not a yogurt tang loving person, you won't like this place.

Xichen J.

Yelp
We came to this creamery while visiting with some friends from out of town. The inside looked clean and brightly lit. The line wasn't too long since it was the middle of winter and rainy. We sampled the lemon curd and ube coconut and decided with the latter. We purchased two small scoops and that came out to be around $14, which is slightly expensive, but expected since it was at Pike Place Market. The flavor was good. The reason this place only receives 3 stars is because my friend found a small piece of hair in her frozen yogurt. I hope this was a one-off thing because everyone working inside (who all wore hair caps) seemed to keep the place organized and clean.

Noe C.

Yelp
first time trying a Greek gelato and it was really delicious. Came here based on a tiktok and it did not disappoint. It tastes like a blend of gelato and Greek yogurt. The worker there lets u sample flavors before u decide to buy so I would try as many as you would like to get the best flavors. There were 3 sizes small medium and large with 1,2,3 scoops each. The price is more than most ice creams or gelatos but I think it's worth trying this every so often! also it melted pretty quick so eat as quickly as u can. I would highly recommend getting this if ur around the pike place area!

Carolyn D.

Yelp
Really good gelato store at Pike Place Market! I'm honestly not quite sure what this fell under when I tried it but it's delicious. Tasted a bit like Greek yogurt to me but I kind of liked that since it was different. It was so hard to decide what flavor to get. I liked that they had more unique flavors than other gelato shops. I was deciding between the ube coconut, London fog, and seasonal PSL. Ended up getting the ube coconut because I thought the ube flavor really showed through and enjoyed the bits of coconut in each bite. Even though there's usually a line, it moves quite fast and you also get to try all of the flavors you want before you order. The staff are super friendly and nice too! The regular was honestly a good size for two people. The gelato itself was creamy, not icy at all.

Efren M.

Yelp
Came here during an extended stay due to airline delays, and let me tell you it was worth it. I don't have a sweet tooth, my preference will always be to eat salty foods, but since Hellenika is such an institution, I had to try it. Fair warning, be prepared to wait in line for sometime. You get the chance to taste as many flavors as your heart desires and the employees welcome you to do so. Every flavor I tried was delicious and full of real ingredients, you can't go wrong with any you end up choosing as the ONE. ENDULGE...

Chris J.

Yelp
When the Ellenos spot in Pike Place shuttered for good it was a profound loss to the Seattle food pantheon. Even if you could get their yogurt in stores everywhere the fresh stuff and unique flavors at Pike Place hit different. Luckily they filled the void and then some with their next venture: cultured gelato using their own amazing yogurt cultures. In the PNW we love finding ways to incorporate unexpected flavors into our food, from sourdough pizza to bitter cocktails, cultured gelato is the latest and greatest and there's no one better to do it than Ellenos and their proven track record of bangers. They even leverage their existing production and supply chain to get this gelato in shelves quickly, so keep an eye out at your local met markets. They're adding new flavors all the time and they're all great. For those who don't know this cultured gelato is tart and velvety soft but with some structure. I just hope they make a goats milk version one day but that might be outside their brand using their yogurt base. All I can say is thank god for you Ellenos and keep on changing the game!

Eva C.

Yelp
Got the walkaround size with Blue Moon--more than enough for me! I love the mostly white interior aesthetic, and they let you sample the flavors. Service was great too! No indoor seating, but there was a line, which is definitely worth the hype. The ice cream was so fresh and creamy!

Willy T.

Yelp
The first day I came here, I had London Fog and Gochujang. The gochujang was spicy but good, and the london fog brought relief to the spice. This still tastes like greek yogurt and it is slow to melt. The next day, I had yuzu cheesecake and ube coconut. I also tried a sample of miso caramel and I enjoyed it. It tastes like vanilla. The yuzu flavor is nice. I liked all 3 other flavors more than ube coconut, which was ok.

Lauren K.

Yelp
Absolutely worth the stroll to the edge of Pike Place Market for this. From the founder of megabrand Ellenos Yogurt, comes this bright and Nordic (founders are Greek Australian) feeling space with amazing yogurt treats. It's perfect for any day or weather. I highly recommend maple walnut or lemon curd. London Fog is a stand out favorite. You can sample before you decide on a flavor. About $6 for a generous small. Staff are super friendly. See website for hours and location.

Maor R.

Yelp
Soooooo good. But OUCH, those prices are a bit exorbitant! A real treat though. I loved the Ube Coconut and especially the Lavender Honey!

Princess V.

Yelp
Came on a rainy Saturday and barely any line when I got there but the line quickly formed, I guess I got lucky! Anyways, it was our first time here. Small dessert/ice cream? shop. We didn't know what to get and the sales associate was very helpful with letting us try whatever flavor we want. We ultimately decided to get the Purple Reign (ube and coconut) and the London Fog (earl grey) and both were delicious! My favorite was the ube. The texture was perfect, very smooth and they make the products fresh. Would go back to try out new flavors. Must check this place out whenever you're in the area.

Lloyd C.

Yelp
While walking around Pike's Market, I walked by this place, and the crowd of people who were waiting in line. I wanted to check it out besides it was a warm, sunny day. [Taken from the internet] "Hellenika Cultured Creamery is a wonderland of seasonal, locally sourced, and irresistibly delicious cultured dairy delights. This store is owned and operated by Greek Australian siblings - Alex, Peter, and Connie Apostolopoulos." Greek and Australian? Awesome! Nice, clean, simply decorated store. The workers were so friendly, patient, and outgoing. Free samples of their flavors. It was so hard to choose, all the flavors we sampled were so good! They said they were famous for their Ube & Coconut flavor. That was delicious! As was Lemon Curd, Chocolate, Marionberry, Mango, and Honey Lavender. We settled on Mango and Honey Lavender. Support your local business.

Sandy W.

Yelp
This place is worth all the hype! Loved the mango sorbet. All the servers were super nice and explained how it was made. The displays are also cute. Can't wait to go back and try the other flavors!

Michael L.

Yelp
THE BIG: Located in Pike Place Market near the end of the road. Free tastings of the greek yogurt before purchasing. Street parking available. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with the wife as we were planning to head to dinner to meet up with some friends. I miss Ellenos as the main greek yogurt place but Hellenika does a good job with filling those shoes. They had some really cool flavors like ube coconut, honey macadamia, earl gray cinnamon, etc. Some flavors had a nice crunch (e.g. real macadamia nuts with the honey macadamia). We got the split scoop of ube coconut and honey macadamia to go. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall for a split small scoop, the damage done was $6.50 not including tax. Very good greek yogurt ice cream for those who want to satisfy a healthy sweet tooth.

Auggie L.

Yelp
Went for Dessert Food - 5/5. The yogurt is phenomenal in both texture and flavor. It has a smooth yet dense consistency that coats your tongue perfectly. The sweetness is just strong enough and matched by a good level of sourness. They are very creative with their flavors and each really remind you of the item in a Greek yogurt format. The yuzu cheesecake had the piquant sourness of yuzu with the creamy flavors of cheesecake. The blue moon was very surprising as it really captured the essence of the beer. It had a refreshing tart flavor that reminds you of the carbonation of beer, slight bitterness of the hops, and a citrus finish. Their culinary skills truly shine with these unique flavors. Service - 5/5. As you wait in line, they provide a select sample for you to try. Once you're at the scooping station, they are very generous with allowing you to try many different flavors. This was very welcome as they had so many interesting choices I was curious about. The line moved relatively quickly given the amount of sampling being done and the service was friendly. Value - 5/5. Prices are reasonable with starting at a single scoop for $6.50, especially given the high volume of tourism in the area. The scoop is quiet large, and you will most likely have tried a lot of samples before you decided on your flavor. Excellent spot for a creative dessert in a convenient location. Parking - Municipal Garage (Metered)

Gellie E.

Yelp
Several people raved about Hellenika Cultured Creamery, so I knew I had to check it out. This was the first stop I made at Pike Place Market. There was a short line when we arrived around 5pm, but it moved quickly. With the lines and small batches, they do run out of flavors. While they are constantly churning new batches, it takes 20 minutes for a new batch to be ready... so you either have to be willing to wait or choose a different flavor. Fortunately, most of the flavors that I wanted to taste were still in stock. Sample after sample, each was just as delicious as the next. They have fun flavors like London Fog (spiced tea), honey lavender, Marionberry, Ginger Mule, and Ube Coconut (most popular). All the flavors we tried were so good, we couldn't decide what to get, so we got the Mezze Flight sampler - four flavors! My favorites were Lemon Curd, Ginger Mule (surprisingly light and refreshing), and Dutch Chocolate. All of the flavors were distinct and delicious, and the consistency was super creamy - five stars. Pricing (includes tax): Small - $6.50 (one flavor; get two flavors for $0.75 upcharge) Medium - $8.50 (two scoops/flavors) Large - $12.50 (three scoops/flavors) Mezze Flight - $16.50 (four scoops/flavors) The Mezze flight comes out to $4.xx per scoop, which is a great deal. The scoops are also generous. This cultured creamery is worth the hype!

Jenny X.

Yelp
Incredible gelato place that had a long that apparently got longer and longer. Good: - Efficient and nice staff you can try lots of the flavors. The interior is very aesthetic and modern and clean - Plain and ube were my favorites! So light and refreshing, and didn't fill me up but made my stomach happy. Marionberry was unique too! - Relatively decently priced it was $12 for 3 flavors Bad - Line was long and it was sunny! Overall would come again and try some of the unavailable flavors!

Van Anh N.

Yelp
Soooo glad we went here even tho the line was long!! I think it's extra long because they only let a few people inside at a time. Worth the wait!! It's NOT frozen yogurt or Greek yogurt!! We had that impression at first but then we asked a worker to talk about it and she was like naur babes hahah. But it does have a slight yogurty? Taste, I still wouldn't call it legit frozen Greek yogurt or anything. So yummy!!! Soooooo creamy, but a diff type of creamy. It's very unique I definitely recommend!! The workers are super nice about letting you try the flavors so you can get your fave. We tried matcha, ube, passion fruit, and earl grey tea and they were all amazing!! Highly recommend

Jon Z.

Yelp
This place is cool because you get to see them churning the ice cream right in front of you. They also have some pretty unique flavors. I got half biscoff and half miso caramel. It was super creamy and had a great texture, and the flavor was a bit strong for me but others might like it a lot more. The staff was nice and let me sample each of the flavors without me even asking, so that was very nice. It's also in a great area right across from Pike Place Market.

Mya T.

Yelp
My sister and I love a sweet treat at the end of the day and were excited to try this frozen Greek yogurt spot. There were many delicious flavors like ube coconut, lemon poppyseed, lavender, etc. We decided to get the Om-Ali which had pistachios, cardamom, cinnamon, along with some of flavors. It was unlike any other frozen yogurt I had. The smallest flavor was $6.50 which was decent for the amount of yogurt you get. The staff were kind enough to let us try all the flavors before deciding on what to get. There's no seating inside .

Terry V.

Yelp
When I was in Seattle for a leadership conference, a colleague said that we HAD to stop by Hellenika Cultured Creamery. I am SO glad that she did because it was delicious. There was a little bit of a wait and there was a tour happening when we arrived. We were in Pike Place Market so I wasn't surprised at all. Lots happening and you could try the different flavors they had. The London Fog, Lemon Curd, and Passionfruit are so good. You can sample the flavors to figure out your favorites. We took several pints to go and they were perfect pairing with our dessert selections! It's perfect to order and head out on your stroll of the area because there isn't seating. I love the clean and bright ambiance of the white and blue space that is a nod to their Greek heritage. The owners are Greek Australian siblings and I just love supporting family/sibling owned businesses. Can't wait to go back.

Mary R.

Yelp
Absolutely loved it here. Their gelato/ice cream is soso good & creamy! I had been to Seattle a few times but never tried it & now I'm so glad i did! It's a staple! The workers were so nice, they gave us samples of literally every flavor, I will definitely have to stop by again!

Samantha G.

Yelp
I waited to review Hellenika after several visits, and each visit has been amazing. Up until yesterday, I would swing by on a Thursday or Friday to sample their cultured gelato. I personally think the walk-around size is just enough to enjoy, especially opting to split the flavors. Ube coconut sells out quick for a reason, and they do mark flavors with a red dot when they're in the process of making a new batch: roughly 20 mins I believe. Aside from the ube, other flavors I enjoy: Passionfruit POG Biscoff Miso Caramel While there are no tables inside the shop, there is outdoor seating on the curb. Or just walk around the market, as there are seating options littered around Pike Place. Yes, Hellenika does have long lines during the weekends. If you're determined to try a specific flavor, sometimes they might not have it available that day. Case in point: passionfruit wasn't on the menu during yesterday's visit but they let you sample as many as your heart desires. Also, I don't recommend coming later in the day if you don't want to risk having limited flavors available. Another option if you're not into lines, you can catch them here: Queen Anne Farmers Market U-District Farmers Market West Seattle Farmers Market Metropolitan Market locations

Michelle X.

Yelp
Forgot to take a photo of the ice cream itself oops. Their ice cream is very unique, but my tastebuds couldn't decide how much I actually enjoyed it. I was expecting somewhere between Italian gelato and pinkberry (the pinnacle of frozen yogurt in my book). We ended up trying almost every flavor (scooper was kind) because we were thrown off by the tart creaminess of the non fruity flavors. We ended up going with POG because their particular culture and process works better for fruity options. During busy hours, expect lines and that the most popular flavors will not be available by the time you get to the counter (each batch takes 20 minutes to churn and they churn it in real time).

Yelp
A fun new concept from the folks behind Ellenos -- I was so sad when Ellenos shut its door at Pike Place but this spot is so awesome in its place. They serve up delicious Greek fro-yo and I'm obsessed. The lines can get long but they're fast-moving. I've loved every flavor I've had here, but big shoutout to Marionberry.

Yelp
SO CREAMY. SO GOOD. I was blown away by the cold treats at Hellenika. The constant churning and the unique flavors with that slight tart from the cultures place these delicacies in the JUST RIGHT category. Move over Goldilocks! I loved the honey lavender and the honey matcha flavors as well as the Ginger Mule. Try not to set your heart on a flavor before you go in because there is a chance that it may be in red dot churn mode and unavailable for 20 mins - but stay open because every sample i had blew me away! I was a little too ambitious and ordered a medium just for myself... promise it is plenty to share!

Yelp
The flavor is great! Not too sweet and has unique flavors. Tried at a farmers market and impressed!

Yelp
This ice creamery is the bomb! They have the ice cream churning and they allow you to taste. And they are quite generous with the number of ice creams that you can sample. I got a cup with two flavors and my husband and I shared them. He ate the whole thing with me, something that he usually doesn't do. But he loved it as well. The people working there were totally nice. I was lucky because on both days, I went at a time where there was no line. So it was easy to get in and out. The people who worked there were quite welcoming and they were very, very nice. The store was nice and clean on the inside so I felt comfortable with my order. I got the lemon curd, passion fruit, and honey lavender flavors and all tasted good. They were also quite distinct, which is a plus. I didn't go back because this was a lot of ice cream at once, but I know that next time, I'm definitely stopping by.

Yelp
I've already written a review for Hellenika, but it's just so so so so amazing that here's another review. I swung by on a rainy Sunday afternoon and there was a short 10-ish minute wait. This time around I tried the marionberry and the honeydew mint and I was completely blown away by the latter. Okay, so here's my beef with Salt & Straw - I always try their odd flavors, but I never actually get scoops of them because honestly, they just aren't good. It generally feels like they're making out of the box combinations for the sheer purpose of it being weird, so they can post about it and incite outrage. Hellenika's odd combinations (at least the honeydew mint) are just beautiful flavor combinations that you might not have dreamed up, but genuinely do work together. Again, it is a little pricey ($7+ for a small), but it's just absolutely unbeatable in both flavor and texture. Also, if you're eyeing a flavor from their board in line, don't get too attached because it's possible that it needs to be churned and won't be available for 10-15 minutes.

Yelp
Love this creamery!!! - You may request samples. - They come in 3 sizes. - May order a combo for the small size. - Staff were welcoming and friendly. I tried the lavender & honey, honeydew melon & mint and coconut & ube. All tasted absolutely delicious. Must try if you're in the area. I know I will!!!

Yelp
I love this place!!! This is one of my must-go's whenever I'm near Pike's Place, even when it's cold. Their yogurt is a perfect blend of creamy, sweet and delicious. They have great flavors and rotate some seasonally. The last time I visited, I got lemon poppyseed and ube coconut. Their "small" size is huge so it's well worth the money and the workers are really friendly. We were indecisive and tried at least 4 flavors and they were happy to accommodate. There is no seating area so this is a grab and go stop, but perfect to browse through Pike's Place or sit in the park across the street.

Yelp
Freshly made and the flavors are unique. Flavors seem natural as the colors are not vibrant with food coloring. We were able to sample many of the offerings and settle on omali & honey lavender. Both are really good and not overly sweet and a hint of lavender really hits all the right notes. The omali has a hint of cardamom, with pistachios and maybe golden raisins. The gelato is creamier and smoother than most gelato I've had before.

Yelp
This ice cream/froyo spot is a new favorite! There is a line outside typically, but we only waited around 15 minutes (and they gave free samples to people in line!). Inside, they have rotational flavors, but if a flavor runs out you have to wait 20 minutes for them to make a new batch. You are also allowed samples (with no limit from my understanding). My favorite flavor is the original (plain greek) flavor, as I do not have the hugest sweet tooth. The original flavor is more tart yet still creamy. For lighter flavors that are more refreshing, I also really loved the raspberry coconut, yuzu, and seattle fog.
