Where to Watch Super Bowl LII in Seattle

"The pub fare, atmosphere, and house beers are inviting at this classic brewpub with three locations (including this one in Lake City as well as Burien and West Seattle), and if it has fewer TVs than some sports bars, maybe that’s an endorsement for any group with members who don’t care about the game." - Eater Staff

It’s great when I go in person but I got a pickup order this time and ordered 3 fish pieces and two came fried together, I had to pull apart and it ripped the breading off and exposed some unfinished batter. Not pleasant to taste but I’m not a person of waste so I’ll just throw it in the oven I guess. Not as convenient as I was hoping for after a long day at work. Picked it up very soon after it was scheduled ready as well and I live close so it was at least very fresh when I got home. But do regret paying $22 for this. Order number #110 Online

Google
One of the best pretzels appetizers I've ever had. The blackened salmon Cesar salad was excellent, the fish and chips were fried perfectly. Lots of fresh beer. Love this place can't wait to come back.

Google
Great place to be. The vibe, drinks and food are a reason to keep coming back. Its in a very convenient location for transit access and shopping. Highly recommend! It is a public house, welcoming to all!

Google
Ok I have been really wanting to try this place for years now and we finally went in. Food was tasty, the fish and chips would have been recommended because they were decent pieces , however if they weren't burnt on areas, I think they would be amazing. Foodie tip, their tartar sauce was delicious, and the if you mixed it with the Cole slaw with the tartar... yummy. Like the Old Long John's Silver recipe. Nachos were ample with really good flavors Liked like a decent size burger, but very tasty fries. Tasted the light beers, including the Mexican version 😋 Honesty, better than some brewery versions. Would like to go again and see if those fish could be done better. The service was decent, nice guys who ended up going the extra mile for a missed item. 👍🏼 Definitely worth going back. Like I said, the only downer was the burnt fish, but they still Taste good.

Google
TL:DR | 4/10 - Overall while decent the knowledge that the owners lobby to lower minimum wage for the food service is enough to sour the experience. Most of the food has a slight German bent which feels wrong to do with certain dishes. There is a great selection of beers and the space is wide open and well lit. It would be worth a trip if not for the above. This town has enough breweries to exercise your morals and miss this place.

Google
Came in hear for my little brothers birthday and was disappointed with the service level. My brothers burger came out almost ten minutes late and when paying they tried to act like it didn't come out late. We didn't get water until we had been siting for atleast 5 minutes, and refills on water were limited. I got the berry cobler for dessert and it tasted like a warm fig Newton bar with ice cream on top. I wish I could say the food made up for the poor service level, but sadly it didn't.

Google
Great meal! Fish n Chips were incredible! Thick batter, fresh, and tasty. Also pictured a Rueben sandwich and Teriyaki Bowl. They also make all their own sauces, the aioli sauce was amazing! Definitely recommend.

Kaleb McMillan

Google
Wow! The food here is amazing! The flavor revealed the originality of each item on the menu. I highly recommend the burgers and fries, and the fish is some of the best you can get in the city!

Yelp
We came to Elliot Bay for a quick lunch yesterday at 1:30 PM. It was a very short and chill visit as we were in a rush. I ordered their calamari which had the best aioli sauce I have had with their rice lager. We were in and out of here within a half hour. We could have easily stayed longer had our plans allowed it. They have a generous parking lot in back, and their seating is spacious and comfortable. We had excellent service. I know this is shorter than my reviews usually are, so I will definitely be coming back so I have more to say :) rest assured, though that this was a home run!

Yelp
My husband and 2 daughters stopped in here for lunch. The parking lot is pretty big and so is the restaurant. We were there about 2:30 and got sat right away. The host that sat us would have rather been anywhere but working. He didn't say one word to us besides "how many?". Our server came to the table right away and took our drink order which was a peach Italian soda, raspberry Italian soda, blueberry ice tea, and a peach ice tea, and we also ordered a half order of nachos. The drinks we got were 2 blueberry italian sodas, a raspberry one, and a peach ice tea. We didn't want to make a big deal about it so we just drank what was brought to us. We ordered the BLAT, the Reuben, the Spicey chicken sandwich from their specials menu, and the fish n chips. The food was mostly alright. The Spicey chicken sandwich came out really over cooked and was tough. The fries were good - bigger than McDonald fries smaller than steak fries. The place is big and open. It's kid and family friendly. We were there when there was a total of 4 other tables seated. They have an outdoor area which is nice. I gave this place a 3 because it's not the worse and not the best place. It's just in the middle in my opinion. I won't go out of my way to go back but would go there if friends wanted to meet for dinner there.

Yelp
What a fun environment the food is limited, but it's good. Service is good. There is ample parking and this is a place I would return to.

Yelp
The food was good, especially the big pretzel that came with two dipping sauces. It was very fresh and had that lovely crunchy salt on the top. We also got the peach kuchen dessert, which was just ok; wouldn't order that again. However, their blueberry lemonade is absolutely scrumptious! Our waiter was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. I wish I could remember his name... He was young with a beard I believe and dark hair. The restaurant itself is very large, and there is a lower level where they apparently have live music and such on occasion. Pretty good size parking lot in back too. I really enjoyed it and we are definitely planning on going back!

Dolkar P.

Yelp
The food was absolutely amazing--huge compliments to the chef! Unfortunately, the service didn't match the quality of the meal. Our party of five had our order taken, but after the food was delivered, no one checked in on us at all. We weren't asked how everything was, refill in drinks, or if we needed anything. One appetizer we ordered never arrived, and by the time our entrees came, we had to ask for it to be canceled.

Yelp
Came here for a late lunch and sat at the bar. It was on the empty side. Bartender #1 was wonderful, patient, and friendly. Bartender #2 acted like no one should ever dare sit at the bar. The beers were good and there was plenty to choose from. The menu was decently plentiful. My salad was large, good, and filling. There is a good sized parking lot in the rear, which makes parking easy. The general vibe and ambiance was nice - laidback, etc.

Yelp
Amazing food, amazing beer, and our server was great! I'm so glad we stopped in. It was a busy evening but we never felt like we were forgotten. I never knew the brewery was here but totally look forward to visiting again!

Yelp
We luckily came on their 12th Birthday and they had a special menu with these delicious Crab Cakes. The Chipotle aoili that went with them was some of the best we have had. If they ever have the opportunity to bring those back we would love to come and get them!
google avatar

Danica S.

Yelp
Great service, clean establishment, price point is perfect (think Red Robin pricing), delicious food and beers! They've changed their menu and now it's so difficult to decide. Looks like we shall try something new each time! Oh, they also have family entertainment some evenings.
google avatar

Julie S.

Yelp
Great happy hour menu, had a lot of options and the sliders were fantastic. I loved how you could get a "taster" of their soups, it's a col idea and allows for you to try before you buy. We set out in the patio, QR order only.

Yelp
This is a review to cancel out Emily's review 6 hours ago. Lake city is very hard to survive because there is not a lot of people wanting to provide good food in this neighborhood. I've been to Elliot bay a few times. Even though the food was not extraordinary, it's nice to have a place like this in the neighborhood. it is very hard to do business here in Lake City. Outside of Toyoda and 2C, the rest are just not that great. so it's nice to have a Elliot Bay. And the complaint is correct: restaurants and small businesses are shutting down across the city so I appreciate that Elliot bay is hanging in there

Rachel D.

Yelp
Came in for a quick beer and had a lovely experience at the bar top with Derek being our bartender! I asked for a flight his choice and he gave me a great array of styles! Also had a cider. He was very friendly and efficient will be back again!

Yelp
Beer = 5, food = 2, average = 3.5, rounding to 4 due to how much I like beer in general. So I was in town conducting a teacher training, and my brother and his wife joined me from Vancouver, WA. We were looking for a nice place for dinner. Staying near SEATAC = not many choices except for hotel restaurants (meh). So we search for brew pubs and BAM! Elliott City. So off we go! The Riot Ale was yummy. Not too hoppy, and not piney. E.L.F. Dark Lager was as described - eclectic and hard to define. But drinkable and generally refreshing. I had the fried calamari. Overdone, rubbery, and old grease. Nearly inedible. The family had other meh items. Would not recommend ordering food there, or at least what I had. The beer, though? It's a keeper.

Ginger S.

Yelp
Food and service has gone down hill. Figures why the place was a ghost town! Nachos were stale Burger was dry Server was arrogant and never checked in until plates were empty and couldn't be bothered by having two table when tried to flag him down.
google avatar

Epi L.

Yelp
Went in on a hot day to miss cooking and heating up the house. There is a big parking lot in the back and also street parking in the front. We had friends with us and they had big tables for us. We had flights of beer and they were delicious. The sandwiches were huge (only one person finished theirs) and the kids loved the fish and chips. Service was good and it was a lovely cool temperature indoors.

Yelp
Me and my boyfriend absolutely love Elliot Bay. The beer is some of the best in seattle with the oatmeal stout being my favorite. It is easy to find good beer in seattle, but hard to find good beer and food which Elliot bay has. The chicken burger is one of my boyfriend's favorites in the area. 5/5 would recommend to anyone who find their way up in Lake City. Service is great - fast and friendly. Ambiance is lively and sport bar vibes.

Yelp
Service was quick. Food was decent Beer was good. Weird way to make patrons pay in back patio... guess I am getting old. **This was at paddy's day review ( and not busy...)

Yelp
Great food and service! One of our fave places in Seattle. We have rented out the basement for a party and it was perfect!
google avatar

Carolynn T.

Yelp
Met up with some friends one evening for some drinks and burgers. We ordered the No Doubt Stout burger and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich - both served with a heaping portion of fries. The spicy chicken sandwich was good, but not the best I've ever had - I'd say it probably looks a bit better than it tastes, but it could easily have been the piece of chicken that I got. It was thin and on the dry side, but the pickles and aioli helped bring some flavor into it so I ate the whole thing anyways. The staff were friendly, especially the host up front who checked in with me a few times while I waited for my friends to show up - I wasn't sure how many were coming so I didn't want to get seated right away in case I ended up taking a table that was bigger than we needed. Great place for small groups! Can be noisy when crowded, but overall a good place for dinner/drinks.

Marsha L.

Yelp
Delicious food, from burgers to taco salad...excellent fish and chips. Service is friendly and attentive. They have a good-sized parking lot, easy to access. Highly recommend

Yelp
I'm personally speaking for the SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICH here. I've never eaten at the actual restaurant and this review is based on takeout. LOCATION & PARKING // It's on Lake City Way and there is a ton of parking in the back. Parking won't even be an issue here. FOOD // I always get the SPICY CHICKEN SANDWICH with fries and chipotle sauce. The piece of chicken is BIG and they give you a ton of fries. You know when you get a side of fries but they never give you enough? Elliot Bay does not do that. In fact, you may get full before you even finish all your fries. The chicken is super crispy and the bread is nice and toasted. I cannot recommend it enough. OVERALL // 5 stars I love their spicy chicken sandwich here! My favorite is to take it to-go and head to Hellbent down the street.

Yelp
What a great place! So many great beers to try and lots of yummy apps! We loved the mashing pumpkin beer and boat beers, had to grab some 6 packs to go! Very friendly staff as well
google avatar

Yelp
A great casual restaurant in the heart of Lake City. They have an enviable selection of microbrews that rotate on a regular basis. Was told that they have regular live bands on Thursdays. The food is great pub fare that is cooked and presented well.
google avatar

Maria R.

Yelp
Best clam chowder I've had in Seattle, and that's huge! Bloody Mary wasn't too bad either if that's your thing, and love the mimosa's! And plenty of beer to choose from!(: They're pretty attentive when it comes to timeliness of service, and they're friendly. They have a decently big area, so there's plenty of seating, either at the bar or just indoor dining seating. It just feels very open, and they have two entrances. So for me, this place is perfect for brunch with friends/family, or if you just want some delicious Ahi tacos and a drink, while catching up on your podcast or E.c.t!( : ~

Peter A.

Yelp
Best Fish and Chips ever!!! Well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The burger was awesome too with great flavor. They have a great selection of beer with great customer service. Ambiance was chill and inviting. All around good spot for great food and beers. Cheers.
google avatar

Alana K.

Yelp
It saddens me how far Elliott Bay has fallen in their food department. My last few visits over the past year have ranged from meh to disappointing. Their beers are still great, and I love that you can build your own cider flight. For me, Elliott Bay will be reserved for drinks & apps and/or happy hour only.
google avatar

Ed G.

Yelp
Delicious fish and chips both regular and in tacos. We switched the regular fries to sweet potato fries, really good. I had two of their house beers, the Gateway Amber Ale and the Luna Weizen both delicious. My wife had the Blackberry Cider, she enjoyed it. Good wait staff, courteous and attentive!
google avatar

Elyse D.

Yelp
Food is bland. I've never been too impressed, my mom likes it. Service has always been friendly though.
google avatar

Billy T.

Yelp
Great atmosphere to watch a game. Spacious with a lot of screens and beers on tap. Their specials menu was solid too with poke and mahi mahi offerings. I ordered the North Atlantic Haze and the Blackened mahi mahi sandwich with fries and tart ear. My partner got the green goddess and the kids got a cheeseburger and grilled cheese off the kids menu. Post meal analysis: everything was delicious! Friendly attentive staff. Highly recommend for lunch.
google avatar

Dean L.

Yelp
Last time I wrote that the food was 3 stars, but today it was a solid 4. My wife and I both enjoyed the panko fried chicken sandwich with spicy sauce. The fries are great, and so is the slaw. Daughter had the Buffalo wings and said she'd get them again. The beer list is still awesome, with organic choices, and the TVs still work. Finally, service today was excellent.

Penny B.

Yelp
This is a good neighborhood place. The food and beer are good and it's reasonably priced. Their burgers are some of the better ones around.
google avatar

Lauren N.

Yelp
Drinks and service were great but food could be better. We were seated quickly and the server was always attentive when we needed more drinks or food. Good happy hour deals on drinks and we really enjoyed the happy hour nachos. We weren't overly impressed with our entrees- the spicy chicken sandwich was a bit bland and not spicy and the green goddess salad tasted off (might have just been the dressing) and noticed some brown lettuce. We'll be back for happy hour!
google avatar

Bailey N.

Yelp
The food was great! I got the No Doubt Stout bbq burger and seasoned fries, it was delicious. I'd order it again! The service was just right and our food came out pretty quickly! Kudos to the chefs, even for a Saturday! Their Organic North Atlantic Haze was a nice touch to my meal but nothing to brag about. I'd probably try something different in hopes to find a beer I like better here next time. Overall, I'll be back!

Kerry P.

Yelp
Elliot Bay on Lake City has been a favorite for our family since it opened! When we wanted a casual place for an extended family get-together to celebrate the life of our beloved Papa/husband/brother, Elliot Bay was quick to assist us. We used the Brewer's room which gave us our own space and pre-ordered platters. The food was beautifully presented on wooden boards in generous portions, and was delicious as always. Will, James and Cole took individual drink orders and were attentive throughout our event. Thanks for taking such great care of us, and we'll be back soon!

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
Blacked salmon Caesar salad was perfectly perfect !! Highly recommend. Great staff. Prompt food for a good price. For a brewery they have lots of healthy choices in addition to pub grub. Love this place.
google avatar

Ben H.

Yelp
Happy hour review: We got a bunch of foods here like the cheapsburger, quesadillas, a sandwich, nachos, and fries. Honestly, a lot of the food seemed like low grade store bought stuff that you bring to a labor day barbeque, especially the cheapsburger. I get that's what the burger is called but I mean it's 6 bucks. On a brighter note, the fries and some chipotle aioli sauce hit the spot. Can't complain about the beer either!
google avatar

Carrie C.

Yelp
Great food. Had HS Reunion there and it was a fun atmosphere to mingle and catch up with old friends. Parking on site.
google avatar

Yelp
Elliott bay Pub house is freaking awesome! And here are some reasons why! 1. The have an assortments of different beers and I have tried most on the list and I can whole heartedly say that they are pretty good. 2. They're good is also pretty good especially on during their happy hour. 3. It's quite spacious and have outdoor and indoor door seating and dogs are allowed, but only outside which is fare. 4. Pretty decent atmosphere there but I've only gone during the work week but always see that the parking lot filled up during the weekend. Also workers are very polite and awesome. Overall pretty good eats and great selection of beer, I have come here many times now and plan on many more trips back to Elliot bay!
google avatar

Dee Dee R.

Yelp
Elliott Bay is a roomy place with comfortable booths with TV's placed so everyone can see. Our server was great and the food came quickly. The spicy chicken sandwiches were superb, the chicken tenders were juicy and the steak salad had the juiciest, tastiest steak I've had in a while. A good selection of beers. All around a nice place to go with friends.

Natasha S.

Yelp
Such good food and great service too! We will definitely be back when in Seattle. A hidden gem

John K.

Yelp
Got the fish and chips, they weren't very good. They lacked flavor and crunch. For the price I really did expect more.
google avatar

Jason S.

Yelp
Used to be a go-to place. The beer is still good, but the limited burger selection, burned patties, canceled menu items, and abysmal service made our most recent visit a disappointment. We're not planning a return visit anytime soon.
google avatar

Tom B.

Yelp
Love the LunaWeizen -- and the incredibly friendly and kind staff! My best man and oldest friend/colleague Uncle Dave introduced me to Elliott Bay last night after a really great evening of Walt Longmire -- Craig Johnson and Judy -- at Third Place Books. We were so delighted to be greeted by three friends from Iaido too -- certifying to me that Elliott Bay Public House and Brewery is where my kinda people congregate!

Yelp
Came in on a Saturday night to grab a bite in between shopping. The was our first time here. The place is really big and clean. They have the covid thing down and have their tables spaced it looks like more than 6 feet. Service was wonderful, our food came out super fast and they were attentive on refills (I don't know why refills bugs ppl so much, but they were on it). My wife had the hazy ipa, I tried it and it was really good (they are a brewery). The food was also pretty good. I ordered the turkey sandwich, the 4 star review comes from being a little light on the turkey. The turkey to bread ratio was a little off :-) The flavor was great, and the sweet potato fries were delish! My wife got the bbq burger and loved it! Great spot to come watch sports games! We will certainly be back!

Yelp
Great big space with great food and drink options and a private parking lot - what more could you ask for?! This is the perfect spot for this restaurant. It's easy to get to from the UD or from as far north as Bothell. They offer a family friendly environment with food and beverages to please every discerning taste. Most recently I wanted to try the tofu sandwich but didn't want all the bread so I asked for it wrapped in lettuce. It came perfectly sandwiched in thick pieces of lettuce exactly as I wanted! Some places bring out lettuce wrapped sandwiches looking like a hot mess but not Elliott Bay - they know how to do you right! Now you might think tofu in lettuce? Not that appetizing? But you'd be wrong! They manage to cook the tofu in a wonderful red sauce and then provide a side of curry aioli to add - this was incredible! I cannot say enough good things about this meal! Looking forward to future visits to this great place!

Jana P.

Yelp
Love this place. Food is always delicious with plenty of choices for everyone. Great selections on tap and easygoing vibe.

Yelp
Brew pub with standard Pub menu. Walked in and sign said wait to be seated but no one around so we sat ourselves. Annoyed staff asked if we could see menu from our phone then walked away. After a bit we ordered without any sign of caring. A different guy brought our food and was better at being a human. The food was fair, salty and without fresh made flavor. It filled us but that was about it. The place smelled like old beer and burned fryer oil. Sorry not going back. If the service was good it could have been better. I wanted to leave before we even ordered.
google avatar

Doris W.

Yelp
We were in the area car shopping and wanted to grab a bite to eat. I pulled up Yelp and realized I had this place bookmarked so we headed over here. Parking: they have their own lot in the back if you have trouble finding street parking in front. We ordered: - Cheesesteak egg rolls came with bleu cheese sauce and sweet chili sauce - BBQ burger with sweet potato fries - Public House Burger with sweet potato fries - mud pie Too bad they don't have happy hour on the weekends. We enjoyed the food and service here though! Neither of us got beer so we can't comment on the brews. We both liked our food, kinda typical burger brew spot. Good none the less!

Yelp
Nice interior. Decent menu. I really want to love this local spot. Such potential. They play the LOUDEST and most annoying music and nobody is dancing. This was my exact feedback a few years ago. The correct music for this place needs to be figured out. Food was so so tonight and same with the service. They went really cheap on a $15.00 blue buffalo salad. It was mostly lettuce with a small side serving of chicken and avocado. You are better off ordering the wings and a side salad (fyi). Chili was bland. Cider was really good.
