I am absolutely pleased with the two meatloaf dinners I ordered. This meatloaf is a winner—tender, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly moist with just the right amount of gravy. The sides were equally amazing: the peas and rice, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens were all delicious, expertly seasoned, and had that wonderful, soft, easy-to-chew texture you want in great soul food. The cornbread and mini sweet potato were also fantastic. Everything tasted delicious and was seasoned to perfection. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

First time but definitely not my last. I had lunch and the portions were easily dinner portions any place else. The cracked conch was delicious and they don't have to compensate with the "conch sauce" others use to mask the lack of flavor. The greens, cabbage, fried okra, dressing and pigeon peas & rice were very tasty. I already have in mind what I want to order next time. The cashier was very nice as well.

I am from Tampa Florida and I wanted turkey dinner and my cousin recommended Eloise to me. The food is on point and the service is great. Please stop and see for yourself you won’t be disappointed.

The food is not superb. My first visit back there in a few years. $32 for chitterlings the cheapest food item they have in the restaurant. Not to mention no flavor just a bunch of greasy oily liquid. The stew beef didn’t have any flavor $22. Oxtails no flavor $23. All this food should have been free or at a discounted price. Uncle Ben’s rice. Don’t be fool by social media that’s how they got me. IG videos arranged by someone they know. To bring traffic. I’m a foodie I review a lot of restaurants high end and low end. This ain’t it‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Absolutely amazing 🤤 If you took thick cut bacon and made a baby with ribs this is what the result would be. I gotta say, wow, yesterday the ribs were smoked to perfection with the outside dry rub being perfectly seasoned and salted, the crispy outside/edges had flavor of the ribs had a flavor similar to smoked bacon while being perfectly juicy on the inside. I didn’t even want to eat the ribs with bbq sauce, so perfect. The oxtail and the collard greens were also perfectly cooked. The fried conch was good too but wish it came with a dipping sauce similar to the type that is usually serviced with conch fritters.

Looking for a legitimate soul food restaurant in Miami as I am a recent retiree in south Florida from Philadelphia! So I have a pretty good history with soul food southern cooking. Took a trip down from Miami Lakes on a wet Thursday afternoon to the 'hood! This place is as no-frills as it can get! A few tables, order at the counter, no waitress service as most people do take-out! Very nice menu with all the favorites at super prices for enormous plates of food! Each platter includes your protein, choice of rice & 2 sides! They also do breakfast & sandwiches! So place your order & wait about 5-10 minutes! They also accept credit cards! I ordered a lot because I planned on eating a little at the restaurant & taking the rest back home. I ordered the Meatloaf & a Smothered pork chops & Smothered Chicken wings & a small order of pork spare ribs , along with a bread pudding! Collard greens, Yams, Mac & Cheese, baked beans were my sides along with pigeon peas & rice! The food is tasty, freshly made, hot & very nourishing! This is not fancy anything just good old- school soul food for the locals, no tourists! I copied the bill! Shout out to Brandon, the manager for his great help!

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I was able to call my order in and it was ready when I got there. I had the fried pork chops, collard greens, yams, pegion peas and rice. Small Mac and cheese on the side. It was enough food for two. Very tasty. My only neg was the rice was a little salty BUT it could be just me. On a scale from 1- 10 I would give a STRONG 9.5. I will eat there again. ☆☆☆☆

Amazing fried shrimp dinner with Mac and cheese and yams. My food was very fresh.

No frills here, just a nice mom-and-pop style spot ducked off in the cut with friendly folks serving superior Soul food for the low. Had a full plate of oxtails in a nice creamy gravy served over a bed of rice & peas, with collards and black eyed peas all for just a little over 20 bucks.

Customer service was great. Got the turkey wings, white rice, collard greens and potatoe salad. Did not disappoint. Everything was cooked to perfection! I will be back!

I'm not ashamed to admit that not only was I eating the oxtails with my bare hands, but I also packed my remaining leftovers in my suitcase to take back with me to Seattle. We don't have food this delicious and I had to make sure it lasted as long as possible. The oxtails were plentiful and seasoned to perfection. I devoured every last piece of food, including the yams and white rice. I also ordered the banana pudding and strawberry crumb cake. The banana pudding was amazing, but the crumb cake was extremely dry, probably due to sitting in the refrigerator. This place is a must visit if you're in Miami and looking for authentic and down home soul food. I can't wait to come back and visit again.

My mother loves the chitterlings cooked southern style just like Ohio. Since she relocated here a few years ago, always asks me to pickup with Mac n cheese, collard greens and key lime pie. So good that we cannot share!!

We stopped by on our way to our cruise ship. We dined in and ordered a variety of items. Oxtails, fried wings, smothered wings and a few different side items. White rice, greens, yams, & fried okra. Allow our food was fresh/hot/tasty. The service started out shaky, but ended up being cool. This is a no frills, hood restaurant with damn good food! I would definitely come back!

My first time trying this place order turkey wings and shrimp.The turkey was bad it smell horrible and was not going to give to my family spend $50 a waste of money was not eatable at all.The shrimp was was ok but was scared to eat.The cake you not fresh will never go back first &last time .trying to support black business and it was a epic fail

As they say DO NOT be fooled by the book cover. The exterior may be average but, hmmm, who cares? The interior is acceptable and clean. The host/cashier, Sophia, is sassy, professional, on point, and respectable. Love her! I ordered the bbq chicken w/pigeon pea rice, mac & cheese & collard greens. My guest ordered the meatloaf w/white rice, corn + mac + cheese. I also ordered a side of fried okra. Let me say when I got the bag it felt 15lbs. Just blown away and hoping the bag won't bust. And after eating a few bites I hoped my shorts' button didn't pop off. Lol. I got 3 words regarding the taste, quality....de-li-cious!!!!! Please see them. They are waiting to help u aid that appetite.

I was in the area and happened upon this spot. Boy am I happy that I did. Their food definitely tastes like they have someones grandma back there cooking. I ordered the turkey wings, mac and cheese and greens. Before I left I ordered a small conch. The food was delicious and the people in there were very friendly. The prices are great and the food quality is on point. The lady that took my order was wiping and straightening things which always a good sign to me. I am not from the area but I think it was the hood, one of my friends warned me that I shouldnt be in the area after it got dark, but it is what it is. The hood has the best food. I just mind my business, get my food and keep it moving. I will definitely come back to pay them a visit when I am in the area.

Updated review from about 3 years ago... from a 2 star to a 4 star review Went to this location on Sunday, 8/21/2022 and ordered 6 dinners for me and my family. We ordered the following: fried pork chops, oxtails, beef short ribs, meatloaf, chicken wings, and honey hot wings. The sides were green beans, baked beans, mac and cheese, potato salad and fried okra. First let me say everything was great the only exception was the pork chops was fried a bit too hard and the thinness of them made it difficult to chew. They were out of peas and rice, so we all got the yellow rice which was dry and had really no flavor. The customer service was great, the guy that was taking the orders was very pleasant and patient while we decided what we wanted. Overall, we will definitely be going back again.

Great soul food! They have a number of choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can order to go at the counter and the food comes out pretty quickly. There is a small dining room with table service. The service wa I was in a hurry so I ordered the daily special which was meatloaf. It came with rice or rice and peas and two sides for $9.50. I got the collard greens and macaroni and cheese. It was a huge amount of food and everything was really yummy. There was a big portion of rice and peas, two thick slices ot meatloaf, generous portions of creamy mac and cheese and tasty collards. It also came with a cornbread muffin. Good choice for great down home cooking if you are in the atea. Everyone was super friendly, too!

I found soul food heaven..... Going to make this short and delicious... Was going to be in the area and knew I'd be starving and would want some soul food..I haven't had a good plate in freaking years...this spectacular place popped up and didnt even read the reviews, just saw pics and they won my heart. Now this place is located in straight hood but very easy to find since it's off a main road. Now places like this tend to get packed so jump on the first parking you see. I'm a strong believer that the best soul food dishes come from mom and pops places, like straight out of grandma's kitchen. From the line of people I could tell this was definitely one of those places and that this was the best decision ever! When we finally entered to order we noticed the cute set up they had but due to the damn virus the tables and chairs were all put up. Friendly service as we ordered our smothered plates. They have a regular menu but faily specials like turkey wings on Thursdays and Bbq Fridays. The menu is delicious and can make your decision harder but we just focused on what we hadn't had in awhile. We got our plates and went straight to a park to eat. I'm not going to lie, I think we both devoured our plates without breathing. There wasn't a grain of rice, a drop of gravy, or anything left of both our plates. It was ridiculous!! This place is so F@#$ing good. I ordered the smothered chops, no rice(you have a choice of 3 different kinds), mac n cheese, and greens. Everything was delish and so tasty. It was all perfectly seasoned, cooked, and served. He had the smothered chicken wings, pigeon peas n rice, mac n cheese, and greens. There were no words spoken while we both ate. He loved everything about his plate. We were both in adoration. Please come and try this magnificent place. They also throw in cornbread as a sweet treat and its fabulous. Get out your comfort zone, drive to the city, get bigger pants to prepare for the extra weight, and eat it all!!

Twice I went there, and and had to ask for my money back, I was charged $21. For chitlins, and I was given a table spoon of chitlins chop up, I ask for my money back, I can hear the cooks laughing, I never went back.

Delicious!!! Randomly stumbled upon this restaurant and I found exactly what I was looking for!! You can't go wrong with a hole in a wall spot, great service, cleanliness, food! I will be back everytime I am down south!

If you are in Miami and want legit soul food...look no further, everything I've tried is smoke but...the smothered pork chops with yellow rice, collards, and fried okra will make you smack yo momma! Then if you're feeling like feeding your diabetes well...any of the slices of cake will finish your day. My preference will forever be red velvet so try it. Really nice people and clean inside. My only issue ever here is that they do NOT take American Express. Otherwise, this is my favorite eating spot in Miami after being here for 5 months for work. Smothered Pork Chop

I have come here several times with my wife and I will keep coming back. The server, Brandon, I believe was so nice. The prices are on point. If you are ever in the area and want some good soul food I recommend this restaurant.

Immediately imma give this soul food place a 10/10. I'm so blessed it's down the street from me. Let me tell you something, I know they put they foot in this cuz it is BOMB! I always get the oxtail meal w some pigeon pea rice, and no it ain't cheap for the oxtail but damn worth every penny. I tip everytime too, even on my brokest days. Love this place, if you looking for some REAL SOUL FOOD, this is the place for you. Muah. 10/10 always, the wait is worth it, swear

Delicious and friendly atmosphere. Love everything on the menu but my favorite is the conch and fish.

I went there Saturday for some good food to start the menu says smothered wings and not Turkey wings we asked for smothered Turkey wings and the short lady at the counter started with I been here for years and we don't call them that here and when we got the order they weren't all the way done they were like rubbery like they need to had let them bake at least another 30 minutes instead of just rushing food out to customers and we asked for the food for there she gave it to us to go so we sat and ate and my nephew didn't see a can so he left it for clean up and the food and mostly was horrible then she came outside when I told my nephew to go clean up she came out there cussing so we just left she was out of order and needs anger management not customer service as a job..

The pigeon peas and rice was oily and the oxtails were overcooked (tough and chewy). The customer service was also meh; maybe the woman behind the register was having an off day but unfortunately, I won't be back.

I love this place. Anytime I'm in the area or know anyone in the area I either go or send them to this spot. Doesn't look like much in the outside but in the inside it's small and cute. I've had their oxtail, chitterlings and turkey wings. The collards and rice are delicious too. The employees are very nice and each time I've been I've received great service. Thank you guys for your amazing soul food.

Conch got my attention! And kept it. Chicken went home with me. Plantains were not soaked in oil - that was nice! My partner said his chops were tender & tasty. Will be back!

Delicious! I ordered the fried pork chops, collard greens and Mac N Cheese. The food was all seasoned very well with just the right amount of flavor. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is because my pork chop could've been fried a tad bit harder. I will definitely be back to try some more menu items.

The food is always awesome here and the staff is as well. The best part is their presentation of their food it is always so good. I have tried the CONCH=EXCELLENT, GRILLED CHICKEN=EXCELLENT, PORK CHOP=EXCELLENT. Everything is excellent here!

They are doing the damn thing...I enjoyed a turkey wing lunch platter with white rice, Mac and cheese and collards..topped it with a flop and completely disregarded the caloric intake! If you are on a diet, keep driving...the desserts we're looking spectacular but I ate my complementary sweet corn muffin and withheld the urge to purchase a slice of cake..no worries..I'm going back.. Made friends with the talkative patrons and caught glimpses of a sexy beef stew with vegetables, some perfect looking Lemon peppers wings and flavor-enriched conch stew...see you there! I went to eat here with family a week go and the food was okay. I ordered the fried pork chop with yellow rice, macaroni and cheese and green beans. The meat was tough to eat and cut into. It was dry and it looked like it was cooked earlier in that day. The last time I had there bbq ribs dinner and that was fantastic, but the fried pork chop was not great at all. Next time I will probably order there oxtail dinner. I recommend this place though. Make sure you go on the days they are not crowded with take out orders so they can focus on the people they are dining in orders.

Their fried pork chops were amazing. My son and I enjoyed every last bite. My boyfriend also enjoyed his turkey wing dinner. Overall this place was a definite surprise and has gained a customer.

The food was magnificent!! We were in Miami for a week, traveling back to Illinois on Monday. My daughter and I Googled a few Soul Food restaurants in the vicinity on Sunday. There was one we wanted to visit however they didn't deliver and were closing soon. We were extremely satisfied with the baked turkey and fried chicken wings dinners. The banana pudding will have you dancing in your seat. Thank you, Eloise and Earnestine Soul Food for making our visit memorable.

This spot is all that and some!! I was born and raised in the countryside of Tennessee. I had to call my grandma after I had a meal from here. I don't know who they have in the kitchen, but whoever it is back there showing out!! I'll be back, SOON!!

The food here is amazing it reminds me of eating out my grandma kitchen. I been working in the area for a week and I ate there everyday a was never disappointed

The place was clean with a very friendly atmosphere. I went in for a. Quaint family gathering. The food was definitely made for the soul. We ordered conch, oxtails, catfish. The conch was definitely a golden brown and really tender and seasoned nicely. The stewed conch was plentiful only complaint was the okra it was cooked with in the stew since I am not the greatest lover of okra. My sister enjoyed the catfish as delightfully pleased. We also shared tender oxtail. Now you know a real soul food restaurant by the drinks fruit punch, lemonade, sweet tea and YES we definitely were. The server Miss Sophia was attentive and polite not to mention quick. I will definitely visit again . The menu had sooo much to try.

I noticed this place on YELP & decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. When I arrived for a to go lunch order the place was empty there was one guy carrying out his order. The host behind the counter was extremely nice & even offered me a free sample of ice cream. I arrived home to try my food & I was very pleased. The guy in back was also helpful. I will definitely visit this establishment again.

the food is very good and always hot. deserts r good staf is patient and friendly. good choice of tv stations to watch while eating , clean bathroom and dining areas. i would definitely recommend e& e soulfood to anyone. and you can also call in your order. them pork chops flavored down to the bone baby that fruit punch, lemonade & tea hits the yumm spot real nice. i love the sweet potato pies

The fried catfish was seasoned really well and did not need any condiments. It was a delicious breakfast with excellent service and I would recommend anyone in the area to stop by.

They're menu is extensive from fish to Chittlins'. And, they're meals are seasoned in a real good old home cooked soul food way.

I visited today for lunch on the advice of one of my friends. I've been burned by Miami soul food before. Eloise & Earnestine's did not disappoint. I had the Oxtails with collard greens and pigeon peas and rice. It was amazing. The Oxtails were not greasy at all and the sauce was heaven. I also ordered the honey hot wings we're great. This place is great a don't miss!

This is a hidden gem in Miami. I was recommended this restaurant by a co-worker and it is now one of my favorite spots. I have dined here half a dozen times and have never been disappointed. I love the catfish, fried shrimp, corn bread, string beans and collard greens. I keep meaning to try other items on the extensive menu but I enjoy these so much I want them every time. FYI: They have ribs that they slow cook and smell like heaven. Besides the delicious food, I keep coming back for the friendly and welcoming service. I have introduced several friends and family to this restaurant and they are all now loyal fans. The decor is charming and you will be amazed at how reasonable the prices are for the superb quality of the food (under $10 for a fresh fish sandwich, and under $15 for a fresh fish dinner with two sides and cornbread).

A delicious soul food restaurant! My wife and I enjoyed the food and service immensely! I had the fried pork chops (which were perfect) and my wife enjoyed the hot honey chicken wings. The sides were delightful, and the mini sweet potato pie was out of this world. The service was as friendly as you could possibly imagine. It's a cozy little neighborhood spot. We'll be back!

i love this place simple customer service is the best here i know some other have great food and customer service, but you gotta appreciate the work of art that this restaurant is.

My Family and I was visiting Miami we went here to get some of that great home cooking; the food was great. Family owned business, we enjoyed the food very much so. Chicken & Waffles, ribs was our favorite you should definitely stop pass and get some of their delicious food. Don't forget to get you a dessert the cakes are so fresh and moist.
