"Three small spoonfuls of caviar — each topped with a tiny frond of dill — were resting, invitingly, on a small bed of smoked capelin–infused custard, its jiggly texture an ideal counterpoint to enhance the sensual pop of those little eggs on the tongue. And what’s this that sommelier Brie Dema is bringing our way? Flutes of Robert Moncuit Grand Cru Réserve Perpétuelle Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut? Nice choice, Brie, thank you. It was April 2nd, the day before Ontario was scheduled to descend into a province-wide lockdown. And my wife and I were settling in for an emergency tasting menu at the chef’s counter at Elora Mill, in Wellington County — where indoor dining was still permitted — for four more hours. We made the most of it."

I've been to the mill twice for a nights stay and it is absolutely fabulous. The rooms are lovely, clean, and well thought out. The staff are amazing and the spa is fantastic. A truly relaxing way to spend a day away. My only feedback is that I wish the pools at the spa were open in the evening as there isn't much to do in the town past 8pm. It would be fabulous to have access to the hot tubs etc for a late night drink

Amazing experience! Our first time visiting for our Anniversary and everything was so perfect. They even put a lovely bottle of wine in our room, for our special day!! I am big on service and the staff are top notch, polite, helpful, always had a smile and so pleasant to interact with...thank you, to each one of you. We enjoyed the pool/hottub area and walked around Elora abit. Our room view....wow what to say about that, but breathtaking! We had a Terrace Suite and the gas fire pit outside, patio chairs, warm robes and the sound of the gorge had us outside for hrs. Breakfast this am was so good and the presentation is a true work of art!! Every detail from check in to check out is covered and we were spoiled and felt so welcomed and important. Thank you again!!! Michelle & Tim

I had a great experience at the Elora Mill from the time of arrival to checking out. The staff are very professional and friendly. The rooms are luxurious, spacious and exceptionally clean. We were there celebrating a friend‘s 45th birthday. The restaurant out did themselves dinner was amazing as well with accommodating, gluten free allergies and alcohol free beverages. Our spa services were absolutely amazing, relaxing, and rejuvenating. The pool deck and sauna area was so inviting and relaxing, and the staff were all amazing. If you have not been to treat yourself to the Elora Mill, I would highly recommend it.

I visited the spa and it was a fantastic experience. It was my first time at the Elora Mill spa. I went for a massage and also had enjoyed their hot tub and sauna. I also had lunch at their restaurant. I found that their massage services and spa in general was very well organized. They only let a certain number of people in for appointments so it doesn’t get too crowded. I was able to do everything I wanted like go in the sauna, enjoy the quiet room with tea and cookies (which were delicious). The staff are also very friendly, helpful and attentive. I thought that the price of the massage was Overpriced but considering you can stay and enjoy the other amenities with fantastic and speedy service - I think it’s worth it. My only comment is that their lockers were an issue. They asked me to share a locker with the person I came with even though there were a bunch free - very strange.

We had the Christmas 4-course Tasting Menu. Both Land and Sea Options. Food was well thought of, flavors were well-balanced! Everything was fresh and delicious! Got the best seat in the house for arriving early and the view is amazing! Caught a glimpse of the gorge falls before the sun set! They even set up some candles for a romantic dinner. Will definitely come back to stay at the hotel and spa!

I just had my wedding at Elora Mill and although I had heard great things about the service, experiencing it first hand was spectacular! The whole team at Elora, from my wedding coordinator Sam M, to my day of assigned staff was amazing. Madison was assigned to me for my wedding and she was my right hand. Madison took care of every little detail, things I didn’t even think of. Guests were also very complimentary of Madison as not only did she make sure the groom and I were taken care of, but even my guests. A huge thank you to Madison, and the staff at Elora 🤍

Elora Mill is such a special place to plan a wedding. The setting is beautiful, the service is exceptional, and there's a sense of charm and luxury woven into every detail. It truly feels like a destination—one that guests are always excited to visit and often talk about returning to long after the wedding is over. The team here is always professional and attentive, and it’s a venue that makes every celebration feel elevated and memorable.

I spent two nights with my sister and we stayed in a loft room. The spa is superlative in every way. We both had aroma massages. Our therapists were incredibly professional and my sister and I both felt they were the best massages we have ever had and we have had many massages over the years. The eucalyptus steam room in the women’s locker room is outstanding and the outdoor hot tub was magical. We spent time in the hot tub in the evening when it was snowing and it was indescribably beautiful. The restaurant is simply beyond compare. The food is better than any of the best restaurants in Toronto. Our only complaint was the temperature of our room. The loft was very hot and the main floor was cold and there was no way to adjust the temperature. The staff said this was related to it being a very old building. We did manage by opening a window upstairs, but it would have been nice if there was a way to modify the room temperature (there is a thermostat, but it didn’t work). This was my second stay and I will certainly be back again.

Yelp
Our place for romantic and special occasions. Hubby and I generally take a day off to drive upto Elora mills for a lunch dates. Mind that vegetarian options are limited but delicious. They flavours and combinations are unique and feels very exotic ! Like the hummus or the pumpkin soup with tomato chutney and ricotta ( or some soft cheese), uhmmmm delicious!!! My husband says he had the best hen ever here. Book in advance and have a look at the menu before you go as it keeps updating as per the season. When you make a reservation, ask for a-seat by the falls or quary view it is spectacular. The place is kids friendly but we love to have our spl time here They have a family spa either a day pass or for over night guests but we haven't tried it yet.

Yelp
Elora Mill, located in "Ontario's most beautiful village" is a hotel and spa that is situated on top of the Elora Gorge with views overlooking the Grand River and Tooth of Time (an iconic rock formation). They have a restaurant overlooking the falls that is open all day (for breakfast, lunch or dinner). The venue is beautiful where many weddings and special events can be held here. It gives off tranquil vibes in a small town setting, the perfect getaway from Toronto! This review will only focus on the restaurant as my friend and I recently dined there. Reservations are highly recommended as walk-ins do not guarantee you a table. They also have a nice patio during the summer days as well. Foot traffic is controlled where there is security in front of Elora Mill (you can only enter if you want to dine at the restaurant/have a reservation, use the spa facilities, or are staying at the hotel). Lunch was great as we were seated in the lower level of the restaurant overlooking the Elora Gorge Falls and Grand River. We actually had the corner spot and the views were great. It got a bit sunny and warm at our table but nothing too unbearable. Service was great and attentive during our time there as well. The menus of the restaurant try to reflect the local, seasonal ingredients. For lunch there were a variety of options, some vegetarian, which will satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. For appetizers there are oysters, sweet corn soup, steak tartare, house terrine..and for mains they have pastas (in half or full portions), trout, veal schnitzel, a chicken sandwich, and a burger). There is also a wide variety of wines, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options available as well. They also have complimentary house made focaccia to start off your meal as well. Food wise, we ordered the following items: - Lumache "carbonara" (fresh semolina pasta, smoked potato, carbonara sauce) - Tomato strozzapreti (in-house pasta, heirloom tomato ragout, smoked stracciatella) - Tost sparking drink (5oz) We both ordered half portions of the pastas (both pasta are vegetarian!) and they were enough for us for lunch. The carbonara tasted rich and the pasta was cooked well - it was hard for me to believe that this dish was vegetarian as you could taste a bit of bacon in it! The tomato strozzapreti was al dente and the stracciatella and fresh basil tied the whole dish together. Overall, two great pasta dishes. Overall, a great experience and beautiful views at Elora Mill! A definite must visit if you ever visit Elora. Not only are the views scenic, but the food and service is delicious and friendly as well.

Yelp
Went here for lunch yesterday. We didn't have a reservation but they greeted us with smile and sat us right away . We asked for a table by the water . They said they had a reservation for that spot but they could give us something with a view . It was nice and relaxing . We ordered 2 pastas and some drinks . Everything was delicious and fresh . Service was on point , respectful and friendly. I had the mushroom bolognese. She said I could add chicken . The chicken came separate but was really tasty. I am not a chicken fan but this was actually super juicy, and amazing with a crispy skin, piece of chicken breast. The place was super cozy, and relaxing. Perfect for a relaxing retreat . What else can one ask for !

Yelp
If you're coming to Elora, dining here is a MUST! The food was delicious, the service was superb and the vibes were lovely. I was able to make a same day reservation on a Saturday which I was so happy to be able to do so. The restaurant has a section with a view of the water, we requested being sat there and they were able to make it happen. The seating was spaced nicely, you were not too close to other tables - which I appreciated as my fiancee and I are quite the conversationalists. We started with the butternut squash soup - it was good but I would pass, nothing special. Next we tried the meal size lamb ragou pasta (a unique creation like gnocchi but with a different cheese replacing the ricotta), kale on top with a base of the ragu lamb on the bottom, it was amazing and I would definitely get it again. We added the beef short rib to the pasta on the side - it was delicious but very saucy. We tried the lamb sirloin and it was cooked to perfection with the right amount of seasoning to make the perfect dish. The service was paced well and there was no rush with the meal. The servers were attentive without being interrupting often. The service was the epitome of fine dining service. The price was on par with other fine dining establishments - 35$ for pasta, lamb sirloin (10oz) $56 as examples. Overall, I would recommend coming here if you are making a trip to Elora. I would recommend this on any day trip to Elora.

Yelp
I wanted to check out the hotel and restaurant in my first visit to elora. Attendants at the iron gate said I can't enter unless I have a reservation. I never knew an establishment could do that. And I never experienced this sort of guest service at any fancy places in my world travels. Very shocked and disappointed.

Yelp
Ordered the Lamb and Chicken and they came with fixings (thinly sliced potatoes stacked, salad, and carrots). Since we were on a mini-moon the chef also brought out a snack and champagne for us Absolutely divine experience as the restaurant overlooks the water and the atmosphere is very calming. I thought it was a lovely experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting!

Yelp
So I come here often and today I had family visiting from California and thought it would be great to enjoy drinks and some food, the gentleman at the gate allowed me to enter and waited over 10 minutes before someone took the time to ask me a question, so finally a young lady came to the front and I asked if it would be ok to come in and have some drinks the time was 4:10pm and she informed me that I needed to make reservations and after 5pm.....Really ??? As a restaurant owner I know serving is difficult and always tip 25-30% ...too bad for her

Yelp
I had the pleasure of attending a wedding at the fabulous Elora Mill. Despite the rain, everything was fabulous, including the food! The ceremony was held inside The Foundry, across the Grand River. It was a very charming location. The reception was at The Granary, also a part of Elora Mill. Beautiful locations! For my entree, I chose the Farm Honey Glazed Duck Breast, served with cheddar grits and rosemary bacon jus. My friend chose the Pearle Farm Beef Tenderloin, with truffle shiitake, crushed fingerlings, and Madeira jus. Both were delicious! We all had the Juniper Tomato Bisque with braised oxtail and parsnip puree to start. The presentation was outstanding, with the soup being poured over the oxtail and parsnip at the table! Dessert was Earl Grey Crème Brulee with vanilla biscotti. Yummy! The reception actually started with some delicious hors-d'œuvres, with the lamb chops being everybody's favourite! It was a very enjoyable wedding and the venue was fantastic, including the great staff and service!

Yelp
First off, thank you for satisfying our request to have the table close to the window and beside the falls. The service was excellent. Our service was friendly and attentive. The tables were cleaned thoroughly with appropriate cleaning agent and all customers are advised to put on their mask when they are in any public area or if they need to leave their table. Vaccination records were checked at the reception area. All provincial protocols were followed and we feel safe as customers dining here. All large variety of cocktails and there were also specials drinks and a prix fixe menu made just for the thanksgiving holiday event. We ordered the chicken pate, smoked trout, seared tuna salad, roasted Elora chicken and the pumpkin soufflé for dessert. The Elora chicken was my favourite with crispy skin and the meat is tender and juicy. I believe it's a local grown Chicken in Elora and it is extra tasty. As a fan for warm dessert, I didn't miss out on the pumpkin soufflé. The sweetness of the soufflé is just right for my taste and the soufflé is fluffy. Overall, it's a great experience. It's hard to travel out of the country these days and Elora Mill gave me a sense of the vacation mood. Perhaps we will stay for a night next time at the inn.

Yelp
We dined outside on a beautiful summer night, it was nice especially because we could walk up to the railing to see down the gorge. The inside decor and set-up looked like it'd be beautiful too though! Would love to do their indoor seating next time. They have an in-house sommelier which gave great recommendations with our food. We ended up ordering: -Chilled Cucumber & Green Grape soup (4/5): honestly very interesting! I thought the combo with the small shrimps and yogurt was refreshing -Pan-seared Scallops (4.5/5): well cooked and I loved the sauce -Roasted Lamb Sirloin (4/5) -Panna Cotta dessert (2.5/5): came out in a very fancy bowl but had the thinnest layer of Panna cotta. It was meh, should've went with their daily dessert special instead Dining here is great for the ambiance and beautiful plating. The food is pretty well executed and creative, but portions will be very petite is all!

Yelp
I drove a two hours challenging road trip to get to this place. After I got set down at out table with a spectacular window view of the cliff and water stream, everything is worthwhile. This is one of the very few restaurants I booked over the years that will actually pay attention to the special request notes for window sit. The food is also amazing, on par with Downtown Toronto top end restaurants and five stars hotels. The Chilled Cucumber and Green Grape soup is very creamy and refreshing. The Heirloom Beet and Cherry salad is so fresh, it tasted like the vegetable just got pickup at the garden. The Water Buffalo and Foie Gras terrine is a bit salty but when tasting with the blueberry chutney it will neutralize the saltiness and enhance the favor of the Water Buffalo. The Foie Gras also provide smoothness to the Water Buffalo meat texture. The East Coast Oysters is difference from the typical fancy restaurant oysters. Even though, the oysters are tiny but it is so flavorful like tasting the Atlantic Ocean. The Pan Seared Pickerel main dish fish skin is crispy, the fish meat is moist, and the corns are super fresh. I did not taste the Seared Albacore Tuna salad but my dad really enjoyed. My favorite dish of all is the Heritage Hen Ballotine. The chicken skin is fried to crispy like chips and the hen meat and sauce have a strong chicken favor. Just like a Cantonese old saying that chicken should have chicken taste. I would skip the desserts, as it only tasted average for its price. One thing I should mention is the Chamomile Sorbet, which tasted unique and something I never had it before. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants I have tried in Ontario. P.S. The road at the hotel front entrance was closed for the long weekend but the hotel do have a huge parking lot located on the other side of the water stream. Parking at that location is free when you dine at their restaurant. I suggest to preset the hotel parking lot location in the navigation app ahead of time.

Yelp
Words cannot express the wonderful experience we had here. My siblings and I booked the loft suite for the four of us, for our mother's birthday. Booking was a breeze, did have to call to book, but they were so kind. We requested some extra things like balloons in the room, and Shamyl was so responsive and arranged it all, even checked in on the day of to see if all went well. The whole experience was high end, but humble, every staff was extremely kind. The cultivation sessions were wonderful with Kendra in the wine tasting, so knowledgable and friendly, she even came to our table during dinner to talk about the wine, and take us for a special visit to the wine cellar. Beth led an excellent session in the kitchen teaching us about ice cream. Billy and the rest of the staff at the front gate were so kind and responsive. The room itself was beautiful, large, and rustic, great view of the water. The food for brunch was our favourite, especially the room service and mimosa breakfast in the restaurant. The baked goods were so fresh, croissants to die for. Overall, it was a beautiful high end experience, service was excellent the whole time, the town is so cute, and everyone here is lovely. We definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
The city beautiful: The inn; Very beautifully furnished and maintained. This is just based on the main floor. The restaurant, however, in spite of a rudimentary menu in terms of drinks, main course and desserts, still managed to offer delicious sandwiches, bread appetizers and garlic dip. Service was excellent and very prompt. A definite recommendation for a calm trip.

Yelp
Beautiful view of the gorge. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and prompt.

Yelp
Elora is a super busy tourist spot and it is very challenging to find parking! The Mill itself is beautiful and has undergone some major renovations and expansions to include a spa, hotel and of course the restaurant. Recommend sitting in the solarium room which has awesome views of the Grand river with floor to ceiling windows. The servers were excellent, kind, courteous and were all wearing masks for covid. The only thing that took a star off was the menu was very limited, whoever the food was very good. Had the burger and fries which normally does not come with onion but they were more than happy to put some grilled onions on which was greatly appreciated. Washrooms were super clean. Overall I would recommend a try and would definitely go back

Yelp
My fiancé and I spent the weekend in Elora a few weeks back and really wanted to stay at the Elora Mill hotel. Unfortunately, there were no reservations available (we did not book far enough in advance) and we ended up staying in an airbnb in town, so this review will be only for the restaurant. We were looking for a place to have a late dinner the first night we got in, and most of the restaurants in Elora close very early. Luckily they were able to squeeze us in around 8:30 with minimal wait! We were greeted by the most attentive and friendly server! I wish I could remember his name, but he was excellent. He gave his honest opinions and recommendations, and gave very thorough explanations of all the menu items. To start, we ordered the potato soup (which I unfortunately didn't get a picture of), but it was delicious! It was so creamy and comforting, perfect for the rainy day that we had! For mains, I ordered the beef tenderloin, and it was cooked to a perfect medium! It was super tender and juicy, and came with a stack of crispy potatoes which were fantastic as well. My fiancé ordered the special stuffed pasta, which I believe was stuffed with the root of a sunflower. It was a very interesting dish, and I thought it was quite tasty overall. For dessert we ordered the chocolate mousse with ice cream, and you can never go wrong with chocolate and ice cream! My fiancé and I had just gotten engaged earlier that week, and they were also kind enough to give us a complimentary dessert wine! Last but not least, the view of the gorge was absolutely stunning! We were seated right by the window and had the most perfect view of the water! Honestly, the entire mill is beautiful! Next time, we definitely want to stay overnight at the hotel, and we'll definitely come back to the restaurant for the food and incredible service!

Yelp
I am really a City Person but Elora Mill's country style rustic charm is changing me. I would even consider a weekend getaway just to enjoy Cottage country and an excuse to stay in Elora Mill. The hotel is one of the most impressive property in the area. Towering over Grand Rivers with the breathtaking view. I can wake up to this gorgeous view every morning! Even as a day visit guest, you can enjoy a full meal in their restaurant, a snack and drink at the bar and even book a spa treatment! Some might argue that it is not cottage life? But this is cottage life the way I like it.

Yelp
Had dinner last night. The view here is beautiful when your sitting at the window. Dessert was not decorated, and very simple. I ordered the chocolate tart, came with some ice cream that was very sweet. $16, and not as good as the tart I get from Dufflet pastries, it was quite a disappointing end to our meal. The rest of the meal was mostly enjoyable. We ordered a dozen oysters, that were delicious, the hot sauce was impressive and house made. I ordered the lobster with rhubarb and strawberry and cream fresh, also something I won't be ordering again, I wasn't impressed with this dish, the flavours weren't a good melody together. A little on the bland side, $35, I would advise you skip this dish, and order another half dozen oysters instead. The warm olives were a nice mix of olives, soft, kind of melt in your mouth, not overly flavourful. I wanted something a little more flavourful for the wine we ordered. The Buffalo and foigras starter was absolutely delicious! We would definitely order this again, and really enjoyed this dish. It was the first time this dish came without some crackers or something to spread it over, which I would have liked to have had, maybe next time the restaurant would provide something crunchy to contrast this dish. Moving on to our mains, we both really enjoyed these dishes, and would order them again! They were just such a fun mix of flavours. The scallops were tiny, about 1.5-2 cm diameter with I think 5 on the plate, but cooked well and surrounded by perfectly cooked veggies and sauces, I was happy we ordered several starters and appetizers, as this was an extremely small portion size. The rib was an appropriate size meal, and was delicious, the carbs that it came with were infused with flavour and very satisfying! Dessert was a total let down. Very disappointed with my chocolate tart. The wine was excellent, we ordered the 1993 Foirano a wine from Rome, aged well, full body, the aroma infused the air as soon as the bottle was opened, so many flavours landed on our palate with every sip. I would highly recommend this bottle, there is one more left!! Staff of course were splendid, very knowledgeable on offerings, and pay great attention to detail. They make every guest feel at home.

Yelp
Great food, great service we had a lovely time. Oysters, Terrine, and the duck confit spaetzle. Amazing evening of ambience, tastes and friendly staff. We went for my 50th but have been a bunch of times and always leave very satisfied. We will be returning!

Yelp
Fabulous gourmet treat located in an extremely beautiful natural setting. Staff provides knowledgeable suggestions and seemed to anticipate our needs throughout the meal. It can be expensive but everything is done to the highest standards.

Yelp
The rooms, service and food is so great. At first I was a little shocked about the price but it's definitely worth it. The rooms are huge and all have a working fireplace. The service is excellent and the entire property is so beautiful.

Yelp
I love the elegant setting and views from this restaurant. The structure is a true marvel, built into the rocks. Very professional servers. Food took a little long to arrive, but who cares, when relaxing in a setting like this! Went with 6 people, the food was well presented. Everyone enjoyed everything; however the fresh cut fries and veggie burger were stand out as fantastic. We look forward to returning.

Yelp
The restaurant is so so proud. I ordered one mill burger and it costs 45 minutes to serve. I asked the waitress for several times, she just kept saying that " it is coming". I am so disappointed and I will never come again! Don't come, unless you want to starve.

Yelp
My husbands sister had her wedding at the Elora Mill Inn and Spay. We have a child with special needs. Holly the serve went above and beyong her job helping us. She ensured he had a quiet space, fast food and anything else he needed. I can't thank her enough for all she did. Beautiful venue.

Atika D.

Yelp
First I want to say the restaurant here is beautiful- Get a seat with a view of the river. Also the servers were very attentive. The food was, however, just ok. I ordered a burger and usually you are asked how you want it cooked (I usually take it medium to well) however I wasn't asked and it came out too rare for me. When I asked them to cook it more, they gladly did so but it took soooo long that all my meal companions had finished eating and I was pretty hungry so nibbled off everyone's plates and had more bread. Once it came I tried a few bites and was full. They didn't offer any discount or offer anything to make up for the situation where I didn't have a meal and everyone I was with feeling bad the entire time. I was still charged the full $28 for the burger I couldn't eat.

Yelp
I came here to use their spa facilities for the day and absolutely loved it! The staff were welcoming from the very beginning to the end. The aestheticians did a fantastic job and nothing beats the view of the water that you get when having a manicure and pedicure. Will definitely be back for a future visit!

Yelp
I've given my dining experience at The Mill two stars because I was able to see a mink on the river from my seat at the table. He slid down the embankment and swam in search of his next meal, which was really fun to watch. We were really looking towards having lunch and then breakfast the next day at E.M., but I came away disappointed. To be fair, I am not a big fan of what I think is known as "Canadian Cuisine" - very delicate vegetable flavours that have a tough time holding their own against the generous amount of buttery-type sauce. But the most annoying aspect was the way that the waitstaff interacted with us. Service was set to run like clockwork (think "Montana's" assembly line of service) without any regard for the pleasant conversation you are trying to have. We were interrupted mid sentence every time help came to our table. Both meals - whether it was on a busy Sunday lunchtime or a quiet Monday morning - were underwhelming. I doubt I will plan to visit The Mill again.

Yelp
Came for a 60th birthday party. The staff were so great. Everyone was friendly and there if you needed anything. Nicole and Katherine made the night great!! They were attentive and fit right into our party. Thanks so much for a great night. The view was amazing and private room helped have a great experience for our mom. Thanks so much we will definitely be back.

Yelp
We love the ambiance, everything about the menu, the service and especially the view. I love that the menu is locally sourced and sustainable. I would like to be reassured that the BC salmon is not contributing to decline of Orcas.

Yelp
Came here earlier today for a lunch and tour of the town for my girlfriend from the southern USA and we both loved everything about our meal. We split the soup, each had the burger and I had the coffee while she had green tea. Everything about this place is amazing - The view, the food, the service! Great experience and would recommend booking a night or 2 here for a weekend getaway sometime as there's a great selection of restaurants including the hotels own restaurant.

Yelp
Lovely restoration and renovations to the Old Mill. We went to the "lower deck" for drinks and nibbles. And then we waited...and waited. Hipster staff talked a good game, delivery, not so much so. Simple order of drinks and a dessert took 40 minutes. Investors, you have a beautiful property but your serving staff is not up to the task. I will still take my guests to Elora Mill. Not a disaster but not up to snuff?

Paul M.

Yelp
Disappointing; expected a quality high end restaurant with all that is implied. On entry we were advised that making a reservation a week out is not sufficient to get a river-view table, the hostess said people reserve months (!) ahead. The first glass of red wine ordered was delivered corked, but quickly replaced when this was pointed out. The reviewer found the menu (and wine list) printed with small (and with a low contrast) font on a shaded background that made it difficult to read. The food was good - as should be expected at this price point ( $225 for two), and the menu had some interesting suggestions. On starting into the desert, my wife discovered that she had not been given the correct dessert - even though the waiter repeated our order correctly. (We did not point this out as we thought it too late and would cause a scene.) We both had a glass of desert wine, my order was the last portion of the only bottle - and was gratis. Décor and ambience were unexceptional
