Elounda Beach Hotel & Villas

We stayed in a villa and from the moment we arrived we felt at home. Though an older establishment love and attention has been put into the villas and they are clean and comfortable. Our entire family agreed we were treated so well by the incredible staff. From being checking in on during our stay, to the general manager coming to introduce himself at dinner, to the cleaning and in room dining staff taking the time to talk with our family we felt so appreciated! The people of this hotel take pride in their jobs and in their island and are so happy to have you there. The private patio pool was an excellent way to cool down on a hot afternoon and we were just steps from our private beach. The grounds are beautiful and perfect for evening strolls. We will most definitely be back!

I have just got back from a holiday to Elounda with my family. We all absolutely loved it. The hotel is beautiful and peaceful; the restaurants are excellent; and the spa treatments high quality, but what made it really special was the wonderful staff and the hotel's incredible private beach. We will definitely come again and would definitely recommend. Thanks to everyone at Elounda for such an incredible holiday.

What a great Location..! What a great property to stay..! Excellent and friendly staff, upscale services. A great choice of restaurants with excellent food choices. Award winning Dionysus Restaurant. The rooms in a upscale status , with great fac;initieswith great vies to the sea. I fully recommend for those they wish to have an unforgettable stay..! Veghera Bar…Unique Bar in the world…! Simply great.

Just returned from a week at Elounda Beach, and from arrival to departure the staff at the hotel can not do enough for you. Our room, in the spa building had a lovely view over the bay, was always spotless and the evening turn down service was a lovely extra. We used the private beach a few times and the beach staff were very attentive always there to set up your beds and umbrella. When you first arrive at the beach you are allocated sunbeds for the duration of your stay which is a nice touch and removes the daily chore of trying to find a bed each day. Also can't fault the beach bar staff, although the price of food and drinks at the hotel is expensive, but that is to be expected. ||Special mention has to go to the lady that works at the piano bar, we had a latte there before we departed and it was superb, and the little chocolates were devine. Definitely worth a visit. ||On our first day we hired a car from a wonderful lady at Green Motion, located at the hotel and cannot recommend her enough. If you are thinking of renting a car definitely go see her. The car was perfect for getting us out and about and her knowledge and advice about the car and also about the local area was superb. She couldn't do enough for you and we would definitely use her again. ||Would we stay at Elounda Beach again, yes.

This is the most amazing property on a magnificent beach. Large rooms, beautiful surroundings and proximity. The breakfast was very good. Cleanliness was impeccable. However, it is the staff that make the resort a five star. The staff especially the front desk were not attentive and plain ignorant. I came back from an excursion feeling extremely over heated. I came to the front desk and requested a bottle of water and a bucket of ice to the room. After waiting in the room for over half hour I left and headed to the store on property to purchase water and ice. Upon my return, I discovered ice but no water in the room. Extremely disappointing service.

Wonderful! Has everything anyone wants - beautiful beach, spacious rooms with many in room facilities. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Totally worth wondering around the paved roads of the resort in The evening as the hotel is massive and beautiful. Only downside is the restrictions on the dress code of the restaurants

I've travelled to some incredible places in my life, but very few have come close to my recent trip and stay at this beautiful hotel in Elounda. I could write a book not a review. The staff were amazing, incredibly attentive, polite, helpful and professional. From the moment we arrived they could not do enought for us. For example, we found the mattress too hard, this was not a problem, they immediately fitted a topper.||On arrival, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with steam room and Jacuzzi bath and more floor space. The room was beautiful, perhaps a little dated, buy this only added to the appeal. ||The hotal has a few shops (including high end jewellery store) and a great range of restaurants, including tradtional Greek style Taverna, Italian and fine dining options.||You basically do noy need to leave the resort.||There is a choice of 2 beaches. The larger of the 2 has a nice bar, next the watersports area. This aerves snacks and drinks during the day.||Make sure you see the guys who work the beach on your first day. The beds they select (ones that are free/available) are the ones you keep for your entire holiday. Whether you lay on the beach or not. So there is no rush to put your towel on a bed, so you can relax during your breakfast.||We stayed B&B only, and boy the breakfasts are good. Great selection for all tastes and diets. Breafast staff like all others at the hotel are amazing.||There is so much more I could say but I do not want to spoil it too much for you. You must go and see for your selves.||We liked it so much we have re booked already for this October.||Thank you so much Theodora and to the rest of the team at Elounda Hotel and Beach Resort. The best luxury resort and villas in Crete. Amazing rooms, excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms view outstanding, quality of the sea the best in the island. And the gardens and green space surrounding the villas and the hotel are a luxury itself. My second time coming here with my friends and highly recommended.
