My recent stay at Else Hotel in Kuala Lumpur was a wonderful experience. The hotel’s aesthetic is beautiful, calm, and thoughtfully designed — every space, from the gym studio to the library, feels serene and inspiring. The staff were all exceptionally attentive and friendly, from the receptionists to the security guard at the door. Breakfast options (ala carte style) was delicious. Truly a lovely stay with a great location in the middle of Chinatown. I will definitely choose Else Hotel again on my next visit.

From planning to end of event, the service was exceptional - the staff were professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, receiving compliments from many of our guests. The venue itself was well-maintained and created the perfect atmosphere for our event. What a treat! We stayed at Else with my husband as a staycation to celebrate his birthday. We spent only one night but Else’s team managed to make of our short stay a memorable one! From the reservation to the day of our stay, the staff was very helpful and thoughtful. They arranged a beautiful birthday decoration in our room and were full of attention. The room was clean, modern but most of all we were impressed by how quiet and relaxing the hotel was, considering it’s in the busiest area of Chinatown. Everything was top notch, highly recommended!

We stayed at the Terrace Suite for our 2nd anniversary and it was such a memorable experience! The room was incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and well-equipped with thoughtful touches like a Dyson hairdryer and Aesop amenities in the bathroom. Breakfast at Raw was absolutely amazing – every dish was fresh and delicious. From start to finish, we truly loved our stay and would highly recommend Else Hotel to anyone looking for a special getaway in the city. The only small downside is the morning prayer call nearby, so if you’re planning to sleep in, just keep that in mind. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

We had a comfortable stay and really enjoyed the beautiful interior design of the property. Our room was located right above the pool and restaurant, which had its pros and cons. While it was convenient and offered a nice view, I could hear people talking and shouting while trying to take a nap. As a light sleeper, even earplugs didn’t help much. If the rooms could be made a little more soundproof, it would make the experience even better.||The hotel is clean, though it would have been nice if basic amenities like body lotion were provided. A special thank you to the team for decorating the room with a cupcake and a handwritten note. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and we truly appreciated it.||Overall, it’s a nice hotel and we would come back again, but I’d prefer a quieter room if available next time.

It’s right in the heart of the city, yet with its own dedicated pick-up and drop-off point, which is a small but incredibly useful detail if you’re meeting clients or moving around frequently. For business travelers, the meeting room facilities are excellent. The equipment is modern and up to date, making presentations and calls seamless. It’s a hotel that manages to strike the right balance between leisure-friendly design and business-ready functionality. Overall, this is the kind of property I would recommend without hesitation — whether you’re here for work or leisure, it offers a well-rounded experience where thoughtful design, comfort, and great service all come together.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing — we were greeted with a refreshing slurping welcome drink that instantly made us feel at home. The hotel security team was also incredibly helpful, assisting with our luggage and ensuring everything was safe throughout our stay. We felt secure and well taken care of.||We stayed at Else KL for a special celebration, and the hotel team went above and beyond with a lovely surprise setup in our room — such a thoughtful touch! Breakfast was another highlight: beautifully served and far better than the usual buffet style you find elsewhere.||Rooms were big and clean. Very comfy. The other facilities provided were great too! Super cool pool on the roof. ||The only minor downside was the traffic congestion around Chinatown, which made getting a taxi a little tricky at times. But honestly, it was a small inconvenience compared to the overall fantastic experience.||Highly recommend Else KL
