"After days of eating, wandering this well-organized Korean supermarket in Jeju City was the perfect way to gather souvenirs and snacks. Beyond cheap soju from big brands like Jinro or Chamisul, I spotted splurges like the Asia-only crystal bottle of Suntory Kakubin, plus tangerine-flavored confections unique to Jeju. The hot foods counter turned out handmade dumplings, pan-fried and boiled; refrigerators brimmed with kimchi from napa to garlic chive (my mom even brings huge bundles of fresh banchan back to LA), and aisles of coffee-flavored hard candies, chocolates, and crispy snacks begged to be packed for the flight." - Matthew Kang

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but the place turned out to be massive—almost like a Walmart in the U.S. They offer everything from clothes to groceries. However, it’s not very organized or clean, and most items are sold in large quantities. This makes it difficult to shop for just one person, especially if you’re trying to cook your own meals while traveling.

Reminded me of Carefours or SuperU in France. Huge supermarket where you can buy everything. The food section is in the basement. The bakery is very good. They have granola and pre-cut fruit like pineapple and dragon fruit, and greek yoghurt (important if you don't like watery sweetened yoghurt in most of the hotels in Korea). Also friendly and helpfull staff.

Big hypermart selling clothes, sports shoes and attire, golf swimming stuff, bicycles, food stuff, jeju specialised food. Lots of food and alcohol. Bring your passport to claim tax free after spending more than 30000won. Good place if u are in a hurry, can pick up many things like electronics to baby clothing to food snacks. Baby clothes super cute!

Middle (2nd of 3) favorite Jeju eMarts. While this store is bigger and has a bigger selection of products (than Sinjeju), the food is located on the basement level. Not a fan of basement-shopping. I like to shop and see the day light (Seogwipo). This store is located in downtown Jeju, close to Dongmun market and many shopping malls. Good selection, decent prices. This is my go to eMart if I'm not in the Seogwipo area.

Very convenient and foreigner friendly place that has everything you need. Parking is very tight, so if you're renting a car, pick a small one. The parking fee was about 4000 won.
