Ember Locke, Kensington

Stayed here during my 4th trip to London (7 nights) and this was by far the best hotel I've stayed at. The hotel is very nice; causal and relaxed -- not stuffy. I arrived early morning from the US and they encouraged me to leave my bags with them and relax in their comfortable and large lounge area since it was much too early to check-in. They also have a beautiful green area in the back of the hotel. They offer complimentary laundry facilities that include laundry pods. Upon checkout for a weekend trip to Cornwall, they offered to stow my suitcase for the weekend. I can honestly say that I felt like family. They did everything possible to make my stay easy and stress free. Lovely onsite restaurant. 1/3 mile walk from underground. Moderately priced. This will be my go-to hotel for future trips to London.

My new favorite hotel in the world! Decor is absolutely stunning and so unique. Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Cute restaurant and patio bistro out back. Great coffee at the cafe in the lobby. Huge gym with all the equipment you need. Don’t miss the opportunity to have an experience in London by staying at Ember Locke. You won’t regret it.

This was our second stay at Ember Locke, really great location near to tube station and around a 15- 20 minute walk to Natural history museum, VA museum and the science museum.|We really love the Decor and this time they had changed the restaurant around to the other side . Pro was a lovely breakfast area and we also had a very nice pizza during our stay . The only negative ,be it a little one was that at night after a busy day sightseeing there really wasn’t many places to sit and relax as there was when we stayed last time . That being said we still really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again . Rooms are spacious and clean , shower was amazing and the price was very good. Nearby , if you don’t mind a little walking are some beautiful gardens, Kensington palace which we visited and lots of options for food and around a 6 minute walk to the nearest tube station. Well done Locke staff we had a great stay 😊

Great communication throughout the booking process and answering questions prior to my visit. Check in process was straightforward, accomodation well-presented and staff were all great. ||There are plenty of local shops etc. London Olympia is about a (pleasant) 15 minute walk. Earls Court tube is only five minutes away. Whilst this was a business trip, id have no hesitation booking here for my family. Thoroughly recommend.

We had a great experience at Ember Locke. We stayed in a city studio, which had a kitchenette and kitchen table with seating. Everything was clean, comfortable, and cute. The location was ideal, with easy access to the District and Piccadilly lines so we could get to everywhere we needed easily. We ate at the restaurant downstairs for dinner once and it was delicious. It was very nice to have that option. The room also had a smart tv which we had a little trouble connecting to but it worked in the end. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating! We would stay here again!

Absolutely loved this hotel! The place looks and feels exactly like the pictures. The room is comfortable and spacious (i stayed in a city studio), and with a room with courtyard views, it was quiet and calm. The cafe downstairs makes a mean matcha, the staff were all lovely and the breakfast was great (a decent menu with tasty options). Would definitely recommend. Lovely area and very easy to get around. Only a 7 min walk to Earl's Court station or up to High Street Kensington.

Nice, modern hotel with a good location in London. Friendly staff. We had a city studio with a view of the garden is also great. The room is nice. Unfortunately with an old bathroom, which in our opinion is not appropriate for the price. In addition, the fridge was constantly humming.

What a great find! This hotel is fabulous. From the minute you step the decor is wonderful and the staff are do friendly. Our room was amazing. A fully kitted out kitchen including two hob cooker, microwave, dishwasher and even a washing machine.The bed was very comfortable and our room was very quiet. We slept so well.Just a stroll to Earl's Court tube station and all kinds of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely book here again.
