Wow! I came here for the happy hour and our table was never empty. We kept ordering more and more food like we had a “hollow leg”. I loved the dishes that had truffle as fries and truffle salmon roll. There is plenty to choose from their happy hour menu. All staff members were very accommodating. Chris, our server, made our birthday celebration very special. We went on a Saturday, so there was a lot to see and hear when walking around The Row. Check out the all day happy hour on Monday and Thursday.

Excited for a later happy hour (shout out for having it til 6pm), but the experience was meh overall. The service is always a struggle, having to ask for our drink (singular) multiple times as well as one of our dishes that took ages to come out. The drink itself was great (a spicy Bloody Mary), and the food was mixed. The sushi rolls were fine - not great, not terrible. Generally, a good amount of meat and didn’t overdo it on the rice amount, but nothing overly fancy or flavorful. The show stopper was the dry rub wings. Six wings, and they were massive. SO flavorful, juicy, super crunchy, and totally worth the double fry. Some of the happy hour items are a good deal, while others aren’t, it’s a mix. Just go in with minimal expectations and you’ll be fine.

Tried this place while strolling around in Santana Row. Food was delicious. Got the garlic edamame, grilled sunset oysters, fish tacos and salmon fried rice. Liked everything that we ordered. The portion sizes were pretty decent too. Would recommend!

Google
Uni Pasta It is creamy with house-made pasta that had a great texture. Definitely a standout dish! Manila Clams It cooked with white wine, butter, and bacon. I couldn’t taste the wine and felt like they added a bit too many herbs. It wasn’t my favorite dish. Food was on point, but unfortunately, the service didn’t quite live up to the quality of the dishes. It wasn’t bad, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Google
I recommend going elsewhere on Santana Row. I had oysters and the branzino; my friend had the salmon. Oysters were good. But our main dishes, we agreed, were quite flavorless. We left disappointed. The price is also pretty outrageous for what we got. It came to ~$90 per person. Overall this is not a place I'd recommend. To make matters worse, we both fell ill a few days later. While I can't say for sure it was from our dinner at EMC, I suspect it was.

Julia was such a sweet server! She explained the food portions to us very well since it was our first time eating here.

Google
Nice seafood restaurant with cooked and raw seafood options. Others have complained about the quality of the food and service, but we had no issues. Fried oysters were crispy and not oily. The crab and truffle noodles are a better option than the uni pasta, in my opinion. Seafood pasta portion was on the small side, but pretty good none Prices are on the higher side, but it's Santana Row, so don't expect budget dining. EMC seafood is a nice upscale restaurant to take your significant other. You'll have a nice time there.

We stopped by EMC for happy hour, planning to have dinner, but our friend was running pretty late, so we just enjoyed some mocktails and a few cold appetizers. Everything was fresh and tasty, but the friendly service really stood out. The team was cheerful and polite—a great crew working together. The vibe is super chill and relaxed, great place for a group of friends after work. It had been a while since I’d been here, and this visit reminded me to come back more often.

Yelp
The food was amazing! I was pleasantly surprised. My friends and I enjoyed it. Definitely will come back

Yelp
My best friend took me here for my birthday and honestly it was mid. Maybe it's because we came in an hour before close? We ordered fries, garlic noodles, sushi and oysters. The oysters were great and fresh. Everything else was ok. I feel like I could've made better food at home. The noodles were dry, super garlicky. Fries were just fries. lol. Ambiance is nice! I love the high ceilings. Our server was cool too and friendly. I'm giving 3 stars for the food.

Yelp
Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here while celebrating a friend's birthday. We came during happy hour on a Monday night and it was somewhat busy but we were seated almost immediately. Service was great and we got a complimentary cheesecake for the birthday girl! We started out with a few drinks. I got the Japanese mule (from the reg menu) and my friend got the Banus (from HH menu). The Japanese mule reminded me of a Moscow mule minus the mint - 7/10. The Banus was on the fruity side but still quite strong - 6/10. As for the food we enjoyed everything we ordered off the HH menu. Oysters: 10/10 super fresh and the sauces were light and not overpowering. Wish we got more! Truffle Salmon roll: 9/10 simple but delicious. Salmon with a hint of truffle atop a basic California roll. Rice texture was spot on. Truffle fries: 10/10 crispness of the fries was perfect. Crispy exterior with soft potato interior. Paired well with the creamy truffle mushroom aioli. Garlic noodle: 8/10 garlicky goodness with al dente noodles. The touch of parmesan cheese gave it a good richness without being overpowering. Noodles were nicely seasoned. Crispy pepper calamari: 9/10 reminds me of Chinese salt & pepper squid with the fresh chopped peppers. Squid was tender, batter was crispy, and paired nicely with the spicy mayo. Definitely check this place out if you happen to be in Santana Row!

Yelp
While we chose this spot for our Valentine's Day dinner I was quite disappointed towards the end of our service! The waiter stopped checking in with us and we had to ask for our check. When we provided our card it got declined due to a new card being issued from fraudulent charges. In this case Apple Pay could have been an option but the waiter did not suggest that and instead loudly said our card was declined. We learned about Apple Pay (where the new card number was issued) at another restaurant who gladly suggested that. Quite disappointed in this place because the last time I came my card went missing. They said they would call me back on an update but never did! I'll refrain from providing business to this place as my friends and I used to frequent this location often!

Yelp
EMC Seafood is still one of our favorite happy hour spots! We love their Spicy Crabmeat Tempura Sushi Roll, which is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat and crunch. Their menu offers a variety of dishes to suit any craving, and the drink specials are a great bonus.

Yelp
We've returned to EMC several times the last couple of years and the experience was much better. Their happy hour menu includes some tasty treats like fried chicken and delicious fish tacos. We don't eat oysters but people seem to be enjoyhing them. The drinks are good and the service better than before-and of course it's a perfect setting for people watching at Santana Row
google avatar

Yelp
They have a wide selection to choose from, from raw and grilled oysters to all types of shellfish, sushi, sashimi, and noodles. The prices are reasonable for Santana row. We got two tacos for $10, for example. The service was good for our party of 6.

Yelp
I find it interesting that EMC has an average low rating, as my experience there was quite positive. A friend and I had a lovely lunch at EMC, and it exceeded my expectations. Perhaps others have different experiences, but I would encourage giving it a try. SERVICE Friendly and efficient. Everyone was attentive. FOOD * Oysters: The oysters we had were wonderfully fresh and served raw! We sampled all four types: Kumiai, Fanny Bay, Miyagi, and Kumamoto, and each one was a delight. I particularly enjoyed the lime jalapeño dressing, which added a nice touch to the flavors. The accompanying cocktail sauce and horseradish were excellent additions as well. Overall, it was a fantastic tasting experience! * Blue Crab Lettuce Cups: These were refreshing! It consisted of a good amount of blue crab meat, bacon, avocado, tomatoes and a Louie sauce. * Truffle Salmon Roll: This roll was delicious! The salmon was a good, thick cut. The truffle oil ratio was perfect and not overwhelming. My friend and I had an amazing lunch! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was fantastic.

Yelp
Uses lots of flavorful sauces to disguise cheap low quality crab and fish. Do not recommend the food at all. I also am nervous of how many reviews mention food poisoning. The only positive is lots of service staff and food comes quickly, maybe come here for a drink and french fries.

Yelp
Our yearly Holiday team dinner place that never disappoints. We always order off the happy hour menu and get variety of items! Always so good and friendly staff.

Yelp
I came here primarily for their happy hour menu and honestly, my initial expectations were exceeded. I can't believe it's taken me so long to try it. First of all, I love that they have a sizeable happy hour menu with a lot of actual food items, not just snacks. On the other hand, their alcohol menu is quite limited for happy hour, if that's what you're looking for. Second, their happy hour is THREE hours long DAILY from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Other happy hours I've been to last one to two hours and may be limited to only certain days. Third, and most importantly, the seafood was fresh and the food tasted good, except for a few misses. EMC serves only Pacific Ocean oysters, and those are my favorite kind, so I'm perfectly happy with whatever the daily oyster is during happy hour. On this particular visit, that was the Fanny Bay oyster and they were delicious. We did get a few iffy oysters out of all of the rounds of oysters we ordered, but we were overall very happy with the quality. The steamed manila clams were AMAZING. I practically ate the whole pot by myself. The grilled smoky sunset oysters were good and had some kick to them. Uni pasta is a popular item and we thought it was good. Yellowtail ceviche was pretty good as well, and surprisingly was a large portion. The not-as-goods for me were the firecracker sea bass roll, scallop carpaccio, and clam chowder. The sea bass roll didn't really have much flavor to me. The scallops were good, but the sauce was okay. Clam chowder was very creamy and thick, but quite salty. If it wasn't so salty, I would've enjoyed it a lot more. This was my first experience with EMC, and I left with my seafood cravings satisfied. I'm definitely returning!

Yelp
It'd been awhile since my last visit. I'm not sure if the food quality degraded or they need to refresh their menu but something seemed stale or off. Happy hour is still a great deal compared to regular prices but be prepared for $50 per person even so. The wings had a little too thick of batter and greasiness. Shrimp tacos were ok but needed some zing or spice. The carpaccio is always good.

Yelp
This place can definitely get busy and there can be very long wait times. The service was okay but the workers were friendly. Our server didn't really check up on us and were outside in the corner so we felt like we were forgotten. The fruity drink I ordered was refreshing. Definitely recommend their Uni pasta, which is very creamy and delicious. Their sushi rolls are pretty solid here as well. It's a solid spot in the Santana Row area.

Yelp
We stopped by for happy hour which they have everyday and it's pretty consistent with the chains in LA. Yellowtail ceviche: lots of yellowtail and lime juice. Went perfectly with tortilla chips 5/5 Spicy tuna rolls: They meant it when it said it was spicy but so so good. 4/5 Soft shell crab slider: would skip, buns got soggy from the sauces inside. The soft shell crab itself was still pretty good 2/5 Oysters on the shell: $2 a piece during HH but they're small. Still delicious though 4/5 The Banus cocktail: Smooth, floral and not super overpowering . 5/5 Duck me: Super stiff drink. Imagine a gin & tonic but a lot more gin than tonic. 3/5 There's plenty of seating indoors & outdoors. Best happy hour in the area bar none.

Yelp
Dined here during Friday's happy hour. It was a long-time SJ resident friend who suggested EMC and she also came with us. It was sunny and warm outside, so we chose to dine inside but made a mistake of sitting by the grill, which made it a sweaty early dinner for us. Since my dinner mates weren't in the drinking mood, I had the guava infused "The Banus" and an EMC Bloody Mary all to myself. The small plates we ordered were the Cucumber Salad, Garlic Noodles, Crispy Garlic Wings, Crispy Pepper Calamari and Spicy Garlic Edamame. Hey, we're in the proximity of Gilroy, so why not splurge with garlicky dishes. Drinks were great. The deep-fried dishes didn't hit their mark. The salad, edamame and noodles were absolute winners. Servers were very attentive and helpful. It's a not so crowded spot when arriving early for happy hour at the Santana Row. I suggest sitting in the walkway between restaurants as it was way cooler there.

Yelp
Used to love EMC but after our experience on 12/8/24, I don't think I'll be returning. My bf's family and I had dinner here to celebrate a birthday. Out of our party of 7, 5 of us got moderate-severe food poisoning from their oysters and/or uni pasta. The 5 of us were the only ones who ate oysters so we're leaning more towards that, but the uni pasta also caused immediate stomach issues and discomfort in some of us. We're aware that consuming raw or undercooked fish/meats can increase the risk of foodborne illness, but my family and I eat raw fish and oysters elsewhere and usually never have a problem. But these oysters got us SICK. Even more unfortunate because 2 of us went on vacation after and are now sick on vacation due to those oysters. After seeing multiple reviews reporting food poisoning, I would hope that EMC does a deep dive on the quality of their raw bar. Also wanted to mention that the oysters we ordered were from their happy hour menu, I can't help but think they were probably the lowest quality oysters since they were discounted

Yelp
We were roaming around SR and saw people dining on the patio and were enticed by the uni pasta that smelled so good. We sat on the inside patio and ordered some oysters, yellowtail ceviche, and the uni pasta. The oysters and the ceviche were fresh. The ceviche was in a tomato sauce, it was ok, but this was not described on the menu. I usually really enjoy uni pasta but this was almost too creamy. It was very fragrant but there was so much sauce and it was too creamy for my liking. Overall, I thought our meal here was just ok. EMC has a cute patio for people watching. I think there are better seafood restaurants in the area.

Yelp
I love coming to EMC for their happy hour! We came at 5pm on a Sunday and there was no wait to sit inside (outside is another story). We had a group of 6 and ordered a BUNCH of food! - 25 oysters ($2 each): fresh and delicious! - uni pasta (not HH): creamy and flavorful - garlic noodles: seasoned well and chewy - truffle fries: truly the star of the show. Ordered twice! - salmon carpaccio / yellow tail carpaccio: sooooooo good.. definitely my favorite thing to order here - truffle salmon roll: a classic - soft shell crab sliders: they were ok! nothing too spectacular - calamari: I didn't love this either but did enjoy the sauce and the amount of bell peppers added - pink guava margarita pitcher: it was yummy but NOT A PITCHER??? It was more like a half quart :/

Yelp
Stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon for happy hour on a whim with my brother. He was craving some raw fish and I remembered that the happy hour menu here was rather extensive and discounted enough from the regular menu to be considered a deal. They do have QR code menus at each table, but even the first time I came by I remember it being really difficult to find the happy hour menu online. Someone posted pictures of it here on Yelp, so I had to filter through a couple of photos before finding the ones I was looking for. We end up getting the uni pasta off the regular menu, the garlic noodles and four oysters both from the happy hour menu. The uni pasta had a good saltiness to it, which I'm pretty sure is not the best for your health so do consume in moderation. The garlic noodles I remember being a solid choice last time I got them during happy hour, they did not disappoint. Since I'm all about getting my money's worth, the decision to get the uni pasta certainly wasn't mine. However, the decision to mix the garlic noodles in the extra uni pasta sauce was definitely mine, and although that might've not been the most classy move it definitely made me feel like I came out on top. The uni pasta tasted better with the extra garlic flavor anyways, but I don't believe the noodles are the same between the two even though they look the same in the photo. The oysters were not my personal favorite, I prefer mine very much on the sweet side and these definitely had a salty aspect to them, but I'm no oyster connoisseur and bottom line is they were oysters and they didn't make me sick after the fact.

Yelp
Messed my stomach up nearly immediately after, and this was the only thing I had eaten all day so it was definitely this spot. I ordered the 5 piece salmon sashimi, oyster shooter, new England chowder, and Hokkaido scallop carpaccio. Not sure which one it was, probably the oyster shooter if I had to guess. Definitely won't be returning here in the future.

Yelp
I was having a spa day at Burke Williams and decided to stop by here for a quick bite. I had been wanting to try EMC for a while. Unfortunately, I found it a little underwhelming. I ordered an unagi roll, seaweed salad, and a glass of rosé. The wine was good, but I found the unagi roll to be a little less than fresh and the seaweed salad to be overly sweet. I would come back to try their oysters; maybe my experience was just a one-time thing.
google avatar

Yelp
Came for the oysters! Super fresh. Also got the salmon carpaccio with truffle ponzu, SOOOO good! Our server, the guy with the fancy mustache, provided exceptional service. He was very friendly and had great recommendations for the grilled oyster. Get the butter garlic grilled oysters! The only downside was the hostess. When we exited the restaurant and passed right by her hostess stand, she was eating. That's not a big deal to me, whatever. But as we passed by right in front of her she didn't greet "thank you, bye, see you next time" nothing. Not a good taste for the face of the restaurant.

Yelp
What a pleasant experience! Such a romantic location on Santana Row with a great selection of seafood dishes, served raw or cooked to perfection. FOOD [5/5] ========= + Lobster Roll (4.5/5) Pretty good! It was a little under-seasoned in my opinion but the lobster meat was plentiful, fresh, and delicious. + Blue Crab Lettuce Cups (4/5) Great portion sizes of crab meat, I was thoroughly surprised! I wish it came with a little more sauce. These were fresh and worth the price IMO. + Mussels (5/5) Yummy broth! The bread this came with was SO good. It comes with a great amount of broth (although it's pretty difficult to spoon out because of the container). SERVICE [5/5] =========== Friendly and attentive service.

Yelp
Happy Hour is the best deal here otherwise I think this place is a bit pricey. Seating inside is a little crowded so like to get an outside spot. We had oysters, fried soft shell crab, sushi (SKIP at all costs). Service was fine. A decent option on Santana Row.
google avatar

Yelp
Discovering a charming spot in Santana Row offering a delightful selection of raw oysters, seafood pasta, tacos, and more made for a delightful Friday evening dinner. Arriving at 5:30 ensured a pleasant lack of crowds, though it began to fill up as we departed. Ideal for those seeking a seafood fix with diverse options, we indulged in six oysters, uni pasta, fries, and tacos. While I'd recommend everything except the uni pasta--hoping for a more generous serving of uni and finding the sauce a tad greasy--the experience was overall fantastic. I highly recommend it for a relaxed gathering with friends over some excellent seafood. Not too pricey like authentic Japanese restaurants, so that is a plus!

Yelp
Great seafood spot. 4.5/5 stars. We went in on a Friday night and there was no wait time for 2. I've been here before and really enjoy the food. In the evening the ambiance is moody, darker, intimate. During the day is bright. Small space but lots of seating. Food is delicious, great sharing portions. Everything is by plate and have to order sides separate. -Uni pasta: very interesting and strong ocean flavor, creamy -Black pepper beef mignon: super flavorful, tender, soft, easy to eat, sweet taste -Garlic noodles: great balance -Seafood fried rice: honestly really good -Santana roll: surprised by the meat being on top of the sushi but it was delicious and warm -Truffle salmon carpaccio: melts in your mouth but the chunks are a bit thick -Crispy calamari: love the big chunks and paired great with the spicy mayo -Lion king roll & Dragon roll: classics, simple, delicious

Yelp
*LOCATION* This restaurant is right in the heart of Santana Row, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. It's in a prime location with lots of pedestrian foot traffic and many shops/restaurants nearby. *WAIT TIME* We visited on a Sunday ~12:45pm and there was no wait for a party of 2. We opted to sit outside because we had our pup with us and the weather was nice! *FOOD* -Oysters: freshly shucked upon order, several options to choose from -Fries w/ truffle mushroom aioli: loved that the fries were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, aioli dipping sauce was flavorful and unique -Tuna tuna roll: good but nothing to rave home about -Seafood pasta: nice and creamy wine sauce, decent amount of seafood *SERVICE* My first impression was pretty disappointing because no one greeted us when we went up to the hostess station. There was even a hostess behind the counter but she didn't look up at me until much later. The service after we got seated was better but *AMBIENCE* Nice place for a bite to eat with friends, especially if you're already in the area. Not sure how much I'll be frequenting this place but might need to come back to try their uni pasta and happy hour selections!

Yelp
Will update the review later. But I had a terrible experience. Would not recommend. Another table loudly stated that the service here is terrible. I had to laugh and agree. So here's the review (one day later): Slow service. So slow it might as well be non-service. I have to believe that it was the specific waitress. She didn't come to check on anyone outside that I could see. I guess that's what happens for some people who work at a "fancy" restaurant and expect tip regardless of whether they do their jobs competently or not. Spent $270 and tipped nothing. Because it wasn't deserved. One bad egg ruins it for the team.

Yelp
This location is located in Santana Row and they have indoor and outdoor seating. We went during happy hour at 3pm to get the discounts! Happy hour is from 3-6pm daily. The service was a little slow.   For appetizers, we got the calamari, raw oysters, Rockefeller oysters, and the yuzu dutch mule drink. Everything was so fresh and delicious!   For our mains, we got the salmon carpaccio, truffle salmon roll, and toro crab roll. They all tasted really fatty and delicious! We also got the garlic noodles and uni pasta. Uni is out of season right now so they couldn't top it off, but they still mixed it in the sauce to make it really creamy. We enjoyed everything!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on a Friday night. The staff was very accommodating. The rolls we ordered were good. I had the dragon roll I ordered was good but barely had any shrimp in my pieces so I was a little bit disappointed. We enjoyed our evening. The bathrooms are disgusting. For a restaurant that needs to be a priority.

Yelp
Caution! Pulled up Friday 12/13 for happy hour. Shared a dozen raw oysters, fried soft shell crab, and had some drinks. 3/4 of us now with severe food poisoning.

Yelp
It's really a 3.5-75/5. We came for happy hour so we could try different items, but I think we should've stuck to an entree. The service was great with attentive and kind servers/hosts. The food was lacking something in each dish. -the noodles were good for two bites, and then it just becomes too much. It needed something to cut the fats. -the chicken was really crispy and juicy, but the jalapeños and garlic did not infuse any flavor onto the chicken so it was basically a simple fried chicken wing. -the brussel sprouts were cooked very nicely, just what you'd want from a crispy brussel sprout, but it needed some salt and pepper or some flavor. -the spicy tuna roll is... not the spicy tuna roll quality you should expect from a sushi restaurant, so that's on me to expect the same quality. -the shrimp taco that was recommended was good! But it needed a bigger tortilla (also preferably not a generic tortilla from the grocery store) because everything fell out with one bite. Overall, it was still enjoyable, but I'd like to come back and try their entrees rather than the happy hour menu.

Yelp
Came here on a Thursday night and the restaurant was pretty empty so no reservations needed. Food.... Oysters were fresh and especially enjoyed the miyagi variety. Brussel sprouts were well roasted but I feel like it needed a sauce. Pasta and clams were also good! Clean seafood flavor and decent portions that can shared family style. Service.... This is where they lost the stars! The restaurant wasn't busy at all but they were VERY eager to kick us out at 9 even though their hours say they close at 10. They kept asking if we were done with our plates, gave us dirty looks and aggressively put up chairs. If I come back I'll make sure to be here in the middle of the day.

Yelp
Honestly one of the best seafood spots I've been at. Everything tasted fresh and all the flavors worked well with the seafood. I especially liked the calamari - they use larger squids here compared to typical calamari - much more tender and the batter was well seasoned. Can definitely taste that the tomato sauce was fresh and the mussels had a good amount of thyme infused into the white wine. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
I loved: $13 Truffle salmon roll I liked: $11 Albacore carpaccio + $7 Truffle fries + $13 Soft shell crab $7 Fish taco This was ok: $8 Spicy tuna roll I did not like: $12 Soft shell crab slider Decent #goodeats during happy hour I'd definitely come back and be a little pickier. For full price, I might not recommend this place for value but the quality is pretty decent. I couldn't taste any crab in the slider, and Slider couldn't taste crab, and the bread is tough. I do like that they put extra effort into the service and decor. My parents liked coming here which gets it a couple extra points in my book.

Yelp
What a great spot! Perfectly situated on Santana Row! The staff is great! The food is good phenomenal! The portions are great for sharing or just eating on your own. We had the calamari-delicious! The smoked salmon carpaccio-yummy! The sea bass roll and lobster roll-so good! The crab-great! The truffle fries-perfectly cooked! And a strawberry dream cocktail-delicious! It's a great place! I really enjoyed it!

Yelp
Ive been having my eye on this place for a while so glad I decided to try them. We were seated pretty quickly. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside. I love that they have mocktails. I tried the love triangle and the mojito one. To eat I tried the fire cracker seabass it was so good ! I am not a raw food eater but I did try the truffle salmon and it wasnt bad. I also had the uni pasta and it was good as well. The waiter was nice and attentive and gave good recommendations. I'll be back to try more.

Yelp
So first time to Santana Row and stumbled upon this hidden gem . So let me just say I was craving charred oysters and this place more than satisfied my craving. Highly recommend the garlic oysters they were delicious super fresh tasting and they weren't the tiny baby oysters either so well worth the price . We also had their calamari and now I know we won't be able to order anywhere else. The crisp was perfect and so was the seasoning done just right . Hubby ordered the chow mein which he said is now his favorite out of all the restaurants we've been to . Our server was super sweet and very attentive never had to ask for our water to be refilled and our drinks from the bar came promptly and I must say delicious didn't skimp on the alcohol . We ordered 4 drinks so can you tell we loved them . Definitely will be back !!!!

Yelp
3.5 stars EMC Seafood & Bar offers an extensive menu of small plates, raw seafood, sushi rolls, pastas, and other seafood dishes. We tried out some of their most popular items including the Uni Pasta, made of noodles in a rich uni cream sauce, all topped with uni, seaweed, and fish roe. I was an even bigger fan of the Truffle Crab Garlic Noodles, a fragrant, unctuous, umami plate of noodles mixed with garlic and topped with truffles and crab meat chunks. While both of the pasta dishes were rich and flavorful and came in generous portions, the noodles were slightly too soft/overcooked for my liking, and the amount of uni/crab on each dish was rather pitiful. For our sushi roll selection, we had the Soft Shell Crab Tempura Roll, a thick roll made of crispy soft shell crab, avocado, and cucumbers; and the luxurious Truffle Salmon Roll, made with a filling of imitation crab salad and topped with raw salmon and truffle oil. The best part about this roll was the strong truffle aroma, which paired nicely with the salmon, crab, and rice. Overall, the food here was decent though pricey for what it was, and while the atmosphere at the Santana Row location was nice, the service could have been better.

Yelp
Love coming here when I'm craving all things seafood! EMC is conveniently located in Santana Row, so it's a great place to stop for lunch or dinner before, during, or after doing some shopping or walking around. They have a variety of seating options, including indoor, outdoor covered patio, and outdoor on the sidewalk if you like to people watch (or don't mind people watching you because with all the good seafood you're going to eat here, people WILL stare at the yummy food you're enjoying!). If you're going to get anything from here PLEASE get their Uni Pasta! It's my all-time favorite dish from EMC and honestly the best uni pasta I've had! The uni cream sauce is so decadent, and it's topped with fresh uni as well! My other favorite dish is their Truffle Crab Garlic Noodles! It has shaved truffle and lots of crab meat chunks. So good! Their Lobster Noodles are good as well, but personally, I like the Crab Garlic Noodles more because you don't have to do any work to crack open shells! If you're looking for straight fresh seafood (and have a group or a big appetite), I would recommend getting their impressive Seafood Tower! It's huge and literally has all the seafood you could dream of--a whole Maine Lobster, tuna sashimi, king crab legs, fresh uni, mussels, shrimp cocktail, oysters, and scallops on the shell. Wow, there was so much, I didn't know where to start! Everything came out so fresh and delicious. If you're not quite that hungry, they also have all of these seafood items a la carte. EMC has a good selection of sushi rolls. I recommend their Toro Crab Roll with snow crab, avocado, toro, and black tobiko. Can you tell I like crab? Their Santana Roll is also good; it has baked lobster, langostino, crab mix, avocado, eel sauce, and spicy mayo. If raw seafood isn't your thing, they also have some cooked fish options, which I enjoyed! Both the Hickory Smoked Salmon and the Sea Bass were very good and cooked perfectly! They come with tasty butter/sauces which is always a plus.

Yelp
Came for happy hour and it was a nice spot for a drinks and apps. I got the duck meat cocktail which is a part of their limited happy hour menu and we shared spicy edamame, yellowtail carpaccio, and some oysters. Loved the oysters and the yellowtail was nice with jalapeño. Patio has a great ambiance right on Santana Row and our server was great and tried to block the sun for us.

Yelp
I recommend coming during their HH time because inflation is real or would come here for a special celebration! I loved dining outside because the Christmas decorations are up at Santana Row and they have heaters. My favorites were: scallop carpaccio ($17)- scallops were firm and tasty with their yuzu ponzu sauce charred smokey oysters ($19/4pc)- full of flavor and the oysters were plump truffle fries ($10)- crispy and thicc manila clams ($25)- cooked in a white wine butter sauce, this tasted so amazing and the clams were good (not sandy)

Yelp
There are two ways to enjoy this restaurant. One can have their own entree. Or, as I prefer, order several dishes and share them family style. They have a very extensive and varied seafood menu. There has got to be something for everyone! The restaurant is smaller than I expected. If you are going to be seated outside, please ask the staff to be sure they have enough propane to keep the heaters going! Service was fine, though it seemed like our server was managing more than he could handle. Perhaps they were short staffed that evening?

Yelp
Turning off online ordering and not answering phone for last hour of business is very unprofessional.

Yelp
I was Craving cooked oysters, so I looked on TikTok and someone made a video about this place. I quickly took a look on Yelp and questioned why it had 3 stars but thought I'd try it out anyway. When we arrived we were offered to sit anywhere and we opted to sit outside, the vibe is very nice and chill. 1st we ordered the garlic oysters, let me tell you it was the star of the show, it was so good, I did the eye roll it was so delicious. I would of been happy just ordering a few of those. Next we ordered the dragon roll and it was okay, let's say a 6.5 out of 10. Next we ordered the chicken wings and again they were nothing special a 7 out of 10 We also ordered the seafood pasta and it had the flavors there but it was more of a soupy watery texture and I absolutely hate that with pasta, I need some thickness. 4.5 out of 10 I ordered the lobster roll as an entree for myself and it was bland but not bad, I gave it a 6.5 out of 10 Our waiter was very attentive and kind, she offered to take the pasta off the bill. She was also amazing, I love when I don't have to wonder where my waiter is, she was constantly checking on us and giving refills. Overall I give this place about 3 in a half stars out of 5.
