"Hotel EME Catedral Mercer in Seville is set in a historical 16th-century building. It originally consisted of 14 typical Andalusian houses and has been transformed into a modern luxury hotel by architect Juan Pedro Donaire. The hotel maintains Andalusian architectural roots with features like a central patio and Arab-inspired latticework. It offers views of the Seville Cathedral and the Giralda." - The MICHELIN Guide

Our stay at EME Catedral Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary, and we can confidently say it played a pivotal role in making our wedding week unforgettable. We were fortunate to stay in an incredible room on the rooftop, offering breathtaking views of the city and the majestic Sevilla Catedral—a view that will forever be etched in our memories. From the moment we arrived, the staff exceeded every expectation with their warmth, attentiveness, and unwavering willingness to assist with every detail. Over the course of our stay, we used nearly every venue the hotel had to offer, and each experience was flawless. We hosted a private dinner above the Roman ruins, a stunning cocktail rehearsal party on the rooftop with unparalleled views of the cathedral, and a delightful brunch the morning after our wedding in their chic downstairs restaurant. Even when we required double the seating arrangements, the staff graciously accommodated us with ease and kindness. The hotel itself is a masterpiece—upscale, perfectly located in the heart of Sevilla, and boasting gorgeous rooms and top-tier amenities. We are deeply grateful to the entire team at EME Catedral Hotel for their exceptional hospitality and for making our wedding week a seamless and joyful celebration. We cannot wait to return to this remarkable place and relive the magic!

Fantastic hotel location is amazing next to the cathedral has a lovely rooftop bar for a cocktail before you go out highly recommended. The location is within walking distance of all restaurants and bars. This area is full of Spanish where they all eat and drink so you get the real atmosphere and its priced so reasonable unbelievably cheap really compared to uk . The room we had had a great bath and powerful shower two doors that looked out onto the street above the bars and restaurants when the doors were shut you could not hear anything apart from the wonderful bells of theCathedral.|Highly recommend Another thing to remember is you do not need to go out and eat early in Spain nine or 10 o’clock at night is when they all start too it’s is wonderful city

Excellent boutique hotel. Was welcomed with a glass of champagne and Victor gave us a tour of the hotel. It is a bit of a maze. You could tell how proud he was of the hotel. Amazing room with a balcony and a terrace with a direct view to the cathedral. Staff had great recommendations on where to eat. Super friendly staff. Vallet Parking!

Top notice room and service on the best location. Cool rooftop terrace watching the cathedral. There was a minor problem with the first room and got upgraded to 302. Large balcony and room give views to the cathedral. Thank you to all the friendly and welcoming staff at EME!

This classes itself as a 5* hotel, it isn’t. Room Grand deluxe 321 was next to pool water filter room and they forgot to switch off during night so we couldn’t sleep all night with the noise. Next morning guy came and sorted out. It was small mistake by one person and acceptable but it would be nice to give us sorry chocolate or bottle for lack of sleep as 5 stars hotel. Second night came back late and heard vibrations noise from elsewhere next to bed we couldn’t notice cos of water filter noise. Called reception but boy said it was normal. It wasn’t acceptable and asked them to change room and we needed to pack our stuff at 1am . I booked grand deluxe room but it seemed standard room with disgusting unfinished looking bath room. we paid €265 room only for first night without good sleep and €280 room only for second night in cheeper room which was now located on a noisy street! We never sleep until late. Always wake up before at 7am even on holiday but too tired and still in bed at 10am cos of lack of sleep for 2 nights and I need to change plans no morning activity. It wasn’t 5 stars customer service at all. You will get great location and lovely building but not expecting 5 stars customer service to support you if you have any problem with them. Also Better to mention before booking if you are not mobile cos our first deluxe room needs to go up stairs after lift !!!!!

The EME Hotel taxi service was excellent in all aspects. The cars were spotlessly clean and well maintained which made the ride very comfortable. The drivers were always professional, polite and attentive, guaranteeing a pleasant and safe experience. The taxi driver we had, in addition to being very kind and correct, had an impressive knowledge of the history of Seville. Along the way, he shared with us fascinating stories and facts about the city that we really loved, making the trip more than just transportation. Without a doubt, this taxi service is a great point in favor of Hotel EME and I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality and professionalism.

This is not a 5 star hotel and those that have rated it 5 should be ashamed. Having spent ~3000 euros for 7 nights i feel ripped off. I have only given 2 stars because of location. ||The bedrooms are sparse and NOT soundproofed. Whilst the bed is comfy, you wont sleep. If on the top floors the Hotel terrace will keep you awake. Lower down the cafes are active till 1200, then the 0230 roadsweeper, then the 0600 bottle bank, then the bells at 0900. ||Even worse, Friday and Saturday, EMEs own club at the base means there are loud youths outside until 0430. The hotel blames it on location but it is Mercer Hotels focus on getting money from selling alcohol than severely attenuates the guest experience. I have slept in quieter airport hotels. You might guess I am quite cross. ||Having spent 3000 euros, I would expect to have regular access to the indoor pool and spa but no, that will be 25 euros extra per person. Breakfast 25 euros each for a very poor offering. ||The shower was strong and hot but the tiles were dirty and grubby and had clearly not been scrubbed in a while, probably just mopped out. ||No comfortable seat in the room. A very basic coffee machine with limited choice. No bedside tables. A safe not secured to anything. No storage for clothes other than a pole and shelf. Satellite TV regularly buffering and with a limited choice of channels akin to what you see in an airport. ||The rooftop pool is cold which is okay but there is no privacy as all the visitors be to the terrace overlook the area. The bar area for residents on the roof was never open so the only option would be to join the public squashed together on uncomfortable chairs||This hotel may tick the boxes for Spanish 5* but my experience was anything but. Please don’t reply with your useless platitudes thatreception is there 24 hours. They would not be in a position to fix most of the failings.

Quite expensive for what it was. Staff quality poor and a smell of damp throughout |A lot of noise from rooftop bar and streets.|Our terrace very nice but gym was poor. |Room was odd and a real mix of good and bad, toilet was very very small but water pressure great
