Yelp
A bit of a letdown. I was hoping for a little bit more of an 'experience' considering Emeril's name is on it (yes, despite being an airport restaurant).
This place is at the end of the terminal so it's sort of in a half circle shape. I came upon it on the 'wrong' side and had to walk around a bit until I found the host stand (not really their fault, just kind of an annoyance). Even though there were two people at the host stand, I had to wait a few minutes to be seated (not sure why).
As others noted, there are no 'menus' or ordering through a server. You scan a QR code on your phone and it brings up a website where you place your order. I didn't mind that so much, though it was a bit of a pain having to keep clicking around to get to different parts of the menu.
Although I didn't order through her, the server was pretty attentive. She let me know right after I ordered they were out of the wine I picked and suggested an alternate, and she did check on me throughout the meal.
I ordered the fried catfish po' boy, which was pretty good. It was really hard to eat, though. Maybe that's just po' boys but because the catfish was so big I couldn't get a bite of fish along with the bread, etc. It had a decent flavor though, as did the fries.
It looked like seating at the bar and the booths has outlets for laptops, which is nice if you were going to sit for a while waiting for your flight (though I was seated at one of the few tables 'in the middle' that didn't have outlets.
I didn't mind ordering through the app, though it does take away some of the charm. It appeared the table next to me was having some issues with it, though, as they were trying to order more drinks and it didn't work (unclear if it was user error or a glitch), but the server was helpful.
Not a terrible option, and the abundance of seating (and outlets) makes it a decent option. Just don't expect much ambiance/experience or food that's out of this world.
