"During the winter months, Emery’s in 12 South covers up its patio and cranks up the heaters to stave off the chill. Also raising the temps: its wood-fired oven that churns out perfectly blistered pies topped with prosciutto or spicy sausage, veggies, and accompaniments to its ribeye steak. Add a glass of wine or a 32-ounce cocktail carafe during brunch." - Clara Wang, Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

"Located along the 12 South stretch in a 3,900-square foot space with open-air dining, Emery’s specializes in wood-fired dishes. Brunch, just added in mid-March, includes egg-topped, wood-fired pies like one with bacon, cheddar cheese, eggs, and garlic butter; and sweet potato latkes topped with black soy aioli and farm eggs. Meanwhile, cocktails conveniently come in carafes, and bloody Marys are offered in three varieties — house, fire (with gochujang and Tabasco), and green (with fresh green juice and shishito-infused vodka). Brunch drops Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m." - Stephanie Carter, Clair Lorell

A great menu for everyone! I did not know what to expect, but I left overly satisfied. The portions were a good size and the price was fair. The menu offers good diversity for different tastes and everything we had was delicious. They were short staffed, but numerous restaurants in Nashville suffer from this. I rarely recommend places, but this establishment has made that list! If you are looking for somewhere to eat in 12 South stop in and I think you will enjoy yourself. The baked cheese was the best thing we ordered.

Celebrating a college graduation so our group was not big, just 7. Did have a reservation so table was ready at time reserved. A couple of thing should be noted. Was a sunny day, so the water was room temp, had to ask for ice. The outside room was very warm, heard the group behind us ask for the check because it was too hot. We all got drink with a couple of appetizers, the food was great, our server was great. 4 of us got pizza and all tried each others, believe the margarita pizza was the best. In all the atmosphere was great, would return really busy area so parking might be tough.

This is a very nice restaurant. Everyone was very welcoming. The menu items were a little bit hard to figure out but with the waitresses help we did OK. They didn’t have the meal that I wanted so they customized my pasta with mushrooms which was great! The cocktail was fantastic and the pizza was pizza. It was OK but for the cost it did not match up with the value for us. Too pricey for such simple items. The fries were the best part.. We probably won’t ever go back. I can see how some would go there for the vibe. Maybe we just need to try something else on the menu?

Visited with family to celebrate a birthday and we ALL thoroughly enjoyed everything about our night from ambience, to service, to the presentation and quality of our food and drinks. Parking was easy and readily available. We had a reservation, but probably didn’t need. We came at 6pm on a week night, however. Our server was fantastic! We sat on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed people (and golden retriever!) watching! Nearly everything that everyone at the the table tried mentioned that it was one of the best things they had ever put in their mouth! I can personally recommend the Onion Dip, and the Taleggio and Pear (add bacon) Pizza— both were crazy tasty! I wasn’t drinking, but my family spoke highly of the cocktails they ordered. For a birthday they even gave us a free Crème Brûlée with a candle and strawberries. Lovely evening, from start to finish.

Google
A great spot for dinner. I could have stopped after the apps. Their portions are generous. Sprouts and onion dip were fantastic. Just shy of 5 stars as the acoustics need addressing. They could do with some sound dampeners in the ceiling. But apart from that fab!

This was our first time dining at Emery and we left highly satisfied. Even though it was a Tuesday night, we still had a little trouble finding parking and had to park on one of the residential streets. But, once inside, the food and the ambience were very nice! I liked that they had their menu posted outside the restaurant so we were able to glance at it before we made a decision to dine there, as there are many other restaurants within that same area. I ordered the house pasta- Bolognese, and my boyfriend ordered the salmon. The food was prepared fresh and overall delicious. When we return, we will definitely have to order one of the desserts. We saw them bring it to other customers and both the cream Brulé and the blackberry cobbler looked amazing. So, we definitely have something to look forward to the next time that we dine here.

Google
Beautiful restaurant located in 12 South. No reservation needed, we just walked in and we’re seated immediately. The restaurant has a beautiful, covered outdoor seating area with the main dining area next to the bar. The beet salad was delicious and fresh. My friend ordered a Cacio E Pepe and did not realize it was a pizza but was pleasantly pleased with the dish. The cheese was soft and airy and had great flavor. The mushroom risotto was cooked perfectly and a generous amount of mushrooms. We got a complimentary dessert from the chef and it had a nice fruit purée and mint sauce to compliment the lava cake like dessert. We didn’t order any drinks but from what we saw their presentation was phenomenal. Would definitely come back again. They also have dedicated parking spaces located outside the restaurant!

Anna Leverence

Google
The New York sour was very good but heavy cherry flavored. The brussels tasted sweet and delicious. The risotto was a little crunchy. Hence the three stars. Otherwise, I would have given it four.

Yelp
Stopped in on a Saturday after grabbing a coffee across the street. - They offer a discount of 1% if you pay with cash (removing what I assume is their credit card processing fee) - The weather was rainy so there was ample seating - Arrived during brunch - Live music in the front section of the restaurant - 2 people; 1 appetizer + 2 meals = $51 (cash payment) or $53 credit card payment) - The parking lot is small but there is street parking; keep an eye out for the street signs as there are resident street parking

Yelp
Brunch review** We went here on a Sunday and the restaurant itself wasn't busy but the streets were packed with people visiting local shops. They have a parking lot and also side street parking if need be. The overall establishment/inside looks upscale. They have a big porch which is where we ended up dining. They had an acoustic performer that ended up being a little too loud for our liking. The noise level made it tough to have a normal conversation. I believe they changed up the brunch menu within the last 8 months after checking out old menu pics on Yelp. Our server was awesome and recommended the beignets which ended up being the best thing we ate! The monte cristo was okay but I'm not a big fan of sweet and savory at the same time. If I had known that the bread for the sandwich was french toast I would have opted for something else. However, if you like the combination then you would enjoy the sandwich. The potatoes that come with the monte cristo were very good! Great flavor and crispy outside but soft inside. The margherita pizza was a bit of a disappointment. The pizzas looked so good from previous reviews but this one seemed to lack flavor, overall underwhelming. The value was solid. Honestly not too pricey for everything compared to a lot of other places. We probably could have had a totally different experience if we sat inside and ordered different items. That being said, this review is on our experience and not what could have been. Thanks for reading!

Yelp
Made it for the first time during brunch. We sat in the outside area, which is opened and modern. I didn't even make it inside. We didn't really like that they had someone singing with guitar out in the patio area with us, that's more of a Broadway feel. But he left around 2 and we heard the music from inside which was much better. They were playing hiphop and rnb. I'm normally not a fan of brunch food, I go for the drinks. But the breakfast pizza was actually really good, all the pizzas were good. Some of us got the chicken and waffles, the chicken was very tender and flavorful but the waffle was really thick so I didn't eat it. They didn't have bottomless but we were able to buy the pitcher. The Bellini were the better than the mimosas, I wish that since it wasn't bottomless, they'd let us mix our drinks ourselves. Like bring out champagne and juice separately. Service was great, he took care of all 16 of us, we had two tables. He was very attentive, I'll definitely be back again for brunch.

Yelp
Such a nice place to come into, open airy, and super friendly staff! We got a couple glasses of Cabernet and started with the Poutine. The wine was great, the poutine was okay. The fries stayed crispy and it had a good gravy. Could have used a slight bit more rib meat and cheese, but it was still good and an appetizer at that. The wood fired peach salad was delicious. Lots of flavors that went well together. The Spicy Sausage Pizza was very tasty! A good mix of flavors, it had spicy, salty, and sweet. Oh so nice. Altogether, a must see!

Yelp
Ally and her magic We enjoyed a pie, prosciutto and arugula, and a few cocktails. What is good, you can never miss, Emery's Old Fashioned. As always the service was excellent. Very cozy and warm ambiance, the only downside is noise level. Definitely worth a visit.

Yelp
Love this place. Situated in a super eclectic part of town with tons of walking space and things to see , eat, and drink. We were headed to Urban Grub, but it was lunch time and they only serve dinner so we headed next door to Emery! Beautiful restaurant, glass patio, great bar, and awesome friendly service! You must titillate your taste with the charred onion dip and the best grilled shrimp cocktail I have ever tasted. The flavors are deep and unique! The pies! They execute so many things welll , but if you are not a pizza place, but perfectly executed pies along with other menu items welp I don't know what to say but go enjoy and be merry! The homemade strawberry lemonade from the behind the bar was soooo refreshing we had to have two! Can't wait to go back for dinner !

Melissa P.

Yelp
Stopped by because we were passing thru town. Great place for brunch on a Sunday. We stayed with the dates, a little sweet but paired nicely with the arugula. The hot chicken was perfect with not too hot but just right. The salad was filling but adding the chicken was a plus, very tender and tasty. The pizza was as good as pizza could get, but I'm not a fan of pizza anyway. A little Loud for talking but enjoyed live music. The services little slower than expected but still nice and friendly. Overall rate it an 7-8.

Lisa W.

Yelp
The place smelled good and had a swanky vibe, date night or girls night. The bar was nice and long. We only came here for drinks as a nightcap. We both got their New York sour, about $14ish. It was delicious. Very well made especially with the egg whites. Next time we want to try their food!

Kelly P.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the food here! Came here on a chilly weeknight, and I was thrilled the closed in outdoor patio was heated so well, it was warmer outside than inside! Fabulous. So, any seat is a good seat. We were seated right away and shared a couple pizzas , so we tried the pepperoni & the sausage, as recommended by our server. Pepperoni was pretty standard, but the sausage was outrageously good! It was a bit sweet and just had so much flavor. They were, as you'd know from the smell outside, just a little wood/charred, so they had a smoky flavor to them. Each pizza is loaded with toppings, so that's good, but each 10" (personal sized) pizza was $20.

Sarah C.

Yelp
We stumbled across this location after our first option had a long wait time.. can I just say this was my favorite accidental find!! The food was hot and seasoned perfectly. I had the sausage gravy bowl and cannot stop thinking about how great it was. I was unsure how I felt initially about the potatoes being part of the dish but they really tied the bowl together. My friend said the Bloody Mary and sandwich were delicious as well. This was the best breakfast food I had during my trip to Nashville. We literally talked about our experience here for days after. Dogs are welcome on the patio area. They had live music while we were there. They do offer reservations, but they are not required. We had no problem being seated when we arrived.

Stan D.

Yelp
At the bar, I had a drink and the meatballs. They were excellent in the sauce was excellent also. When my guest arrived, we moved to a table and shared a spicy sausage pizza and even though I don't have a picture it was very good also. Would go again when back in Nashville.

Mandy K.

Yelp
Also! Add this to your weekend brunch list! Live music and great mimosas!! 12S is bustling on the weekends. Start here then wander.

Aj W.

Yelp
Clean and open restaurant in the popular 12th South area. Great service and ambiance, full bar and good drink selection. Wood-fired pizzas looked good and my family enjoyed them. Appetizers were good, we liked the poutine and Brussels sprouts. The bison bolognese was good but nothing to write home about. Was a bit pricey for what you got. Fun place though.

Brandon R.

Yelp
Great location, great crispy Brussels, and great, pepperoni pizza. I hate to say it, but a service was meh... we came in about 8pm after coming to town and made a reservation not understanding the vibe. Upon trying to come in the day before, we were told pizza only was being served so we came back the next night for dinner. After waiting for 8 minutes it was apparent they may have been short staffed. Sitting down, we had appetizers for 10 minutes on the table before our drinks finally arrived, multiple items were not available as it was apparently a new menu, and some other hiccups. Over all, food not bad, but maybe our server was just off or distracted. For a moderately priced place to eat,I think we just expected better service.

Olivia B.

Yelp
Summary: This place was good but pricey for what you got. The service and ambiance are not up to par with the food. The whole atmosphere is so discombobulated. Why are they BLASTING Taylor swift, to the point that I have to yell across my table? Super weird ambiance. Service: Our service was either really slow (like waiting 10 minutes for water, then had to flag someone down to open our wine), or way too fast (checking in every 2 minutes, like when we hadn't decided and felt rushed). The server was friendly but the timing was off, she shared information that felt personal and unprofessional ("they told me I had to run the hot food before I could get your water") and all in all service did not match the prices on the menu. If you're going to charge $37 for an entree, your service should be more polished. Food: Entrees were tasty, though portions were small for the price. We got the bolognese, fresh fish, peach/burrata salad, potatoes and asparagus for the sides. You can go to north italia and get 3x the portion for the same price (if not less), and the food there is delicious. We passed on dessert and headed out with $150+ bill for 1 salad, 2 entrees, and 2 sides. Worth noting, with a $25 corkage fee, the manager refilled our wine once, the server never did, and we had to do it the remaining times. I had to ask someone to open it, I had to ask someone to get us glasses, and I had to ask someone to get us a chilling bucket for it. What was the $25 fee for? Can't see myself returning. Been wanting to try this place for a while and just left feeling like it was a subpar experience. Oh and the sun was beaming in and it was SO hot and uncomfortable.

Kendall R.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try Emery for a while and it didn't disappoint! We had excellent service and the pizza was really good. I didn't care for the Mac n cheese though, it was incredibly bland for a nice restaurant. I will definitely keep this in my back pocket for special occasions! We sat on the front porch which was weather proofed and really nice.

Sara O.

Yelp
After seeing so many positive reviews, I was excited to take my family here for dinner while they were in town. I never write negative reviews, but I feel a sense of responsibility to save people's time and money from being wasted at this restaurant. From the outside looking in, you wouldn't expect this place to be a sports bar, but that's basically what it is. The menu items all sound great, but are very poorly executed; undercooked, overcooked, not hot, etc. I'm very confused and disappointed by the experience and hope that this review will save locals and visitors from a poor dining experience and wasted money. The only photo I took is a good representation of the experience we had.

Tammie B.

Yelp
Was able to make a reservation online and the restaurant was so accommodating when I called the day of to make a change. Our table for 8 was waiting for us when we arrived. All of the staff was friendly and provided great service. Ordered several appetizers, truffle fries, onion dip and brussel sprouts, and all were delicious. Our entrees, pizza, salads and sandwiches, were also very good. I would definitely go back.

Ashley M.

Yelp
We sat at the bar & had very quick and friendly service. We got the Brussels and the spicy sausage pizza and they were both delicious! Would totally come back again

Mike A.

Yelp
A fantastic neighborhood restaurant that has the feel of a premium restaurant but not the prices. It's a great value. Service is always excellent. A great addition to the 12S area that is becoming one of its best offerings.

Yvette K.

Yelp
Awesome food great service kianna was wonderful . we enjoyed the salmon and green bean fry's this time yummy !

Hayley q.

Yelp
Service was fast and attentive! Started off strong with the charred onion dip which was amazing! Drinks were yummy. Then things take a turn. My friend ordered duck confit pasta and liked it. I ordered the pumpkin ravioli, I liked it as well but what surprised by how small it dish was (my friend even laughed at the size), 5 small raviolis for $21 is ridiculous. I was still hungry so I ordered a pizza to go and so did my friend both asking specifically for them to be really well done. While the appearance looks well done the pizzas we so limp with our toppings sliding off everywhere. Making a mess. I had higher hopes.

Bria N.

Yelp
Our server was great, very attentive and always made sure we didn't need anything. I was there for a special occasion and they gave me a celebratory shot. Caesar salad, steak tips, and truffle fries are great! Upbeat atmosphere with great seating for both indoors and outdoors.

Macie B.

Yelp
Went here for the first time for dinner with some friends and loved it! Thanks to other Yelp reviews, we knew to sit outside on the patio and it was perfect... I'll explain more below! Parking: There is a parking lot!! Huge. It wasn't full, but if it is, usually a ton of street parking around! Ambiance: The patio is PERFECT!! Definitely sit out here if there's room and the weather allows. Past Yelp reviews suggested so because the music is all Today's Top Hits & it is LOUD inside... kind of a weird move to have this kinda music playing, but do you! Service: Hunter was our server and he was so great!! Everything was timed out great, and he was super helpful. Food: Started with a dirty martini (yum), and a friend of mine got the Mule and loved it! We started with the sweet potato fritters to share... they were amazing. We asked which starter he suggested and he said this one, so we did it! Got a Kale Caesar for my dinner and added salmon. Wanted to add grilled chicken, but that wasn't an option, so salmon it was! It was yummy, would def try a pasta next time. A friend got the pepperoni pizza, my husband got the sausage pizza and they ate all of their pies. Husband did say he would get the Pep pizza next time, the sausage was a little sweeter than he cared for! Also LOL at the side of garlic aioli... the friend asked if they had ranch and they don't, so all 3 of the pizza people got the aioli! Cons: Probably the music inside if you don't wanna yell to the people at your table, but we didn't have that issue on the patio! Definitely give this a try if you're in the area!

Heather M.

Yelp
Came in with a group of 15. Service was amazing! Jay gave amazing recommendations! Everyone loved their food n drinks. Will definitely be back.

Andrea W.

Yelp
We recently ate at Emery while in Nashville celebrating my birthday. We booked a reservation with Open Table, and we're seated right away! Loved the overall atmosphere of this place! My husband and I each ordered drinks the Papa G (their version of a spicy marg) and the Emery old fashioned. We also had the Brussels sprouts for an appetizer which were amazing with smoked apples and bacon! We shared the truffle fries and pizza for our dinner. And tried the whiskey business for a second round of cocktails. The restaurant gave us a complimentary dessert since we were celebrating my birthday- which was also so good. Our waitress was helpful and attentive and we really enjoyed the food and experience here. We will for sure be back next time we're in Nashville. Cocktails to try; Whiskey business Papa G Emery old fashioned

Alexa H.

Yelp
Good pizza is hard to come by in Nashville but Emery Wood Fire is actually excellent. Classic crust and elevated flavors! I recommend the Spicy Sausage and do NOT skip the onion dip. The servers are not the most informative unprompted so don't be afraid to ask questions. I recommend sitting on the patio as the dining room is a bit too loud for my taste! 7.8/10

Parker S.

Yelp
We were very impressed with Emory Wood Fired. The ambience is great, and it looks very upscale on the inside. All the staff were very pleasant, and we even got a free birthday dessert that was fantastic. The food: We ordered a Taleggio & Pear pizza as well as a spicy sausage pizza. The Taleggio cheese was absolutely incredible, and the spicy sausage was possibly even better. The chef visited our table and told us the origin of both pizzas and how he was inspired to make those exact recipes. The dessert: We got a free chocolate torte for dessert and it was delicious. It had a tangy goat cheese topping on it that made it a very interesting but yummy treat. Overall, for a birthday dinner we came away feeling very happy we choose Emory!

Lisa T.

Yelp
Great meal (grilled shrimp cocktail, short rib, pasta bolognese, pasta carbonara) and good wine/spirit cocktail. Always enjoy sitting in the atrium room.

Teri K.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner and had the whole place to ourselves. Nice selection of wine and cocktails. My cousin is vegan and the kitchen was very accommodating to make her a nice pasta dish. enjoy the yummy risotto with Parmesan and lemon. Delicious grilled broccoli and mushrooms on the side. Didn't have room for dessert but would love to try on a future visit. Great service as well.

David K.

Yelp
Short version: so many better restaurants in Nashville these days. This place needs to dramatically up their game or they'll be gone in a year. 30 minutes after being seated we still didn't have water or a server in a half empty restaurant. I had to go to the hostess to ask for a waiter. We should have been smart enough to take the hint when multiple families were pacing around the restaurant with young kids. Later they told us they were going to walk out the service was so slow, but waiter promised them 10 more minutes so they stayed. Pasta was bland and overcooked. Pizza was okay, but not nearly as good as DeSano's. Caesar was good. Ambience is strange to say the least. At first glance it feels upscale, but then it has sports bar vibes with random shouting during the game. Throngs of kids roaming around and apparently no manager visible. For extra credit they charge some random $2.95 "processing fee", which is a first for me. We wanted it to be great as we live in the neighborhood but it's not even close.

Lindsay N.

Yelp
We came to this restaurant for brunch. The staff was extremely friendly and patient. For having brunch they had no coffee options other than plain hot coffee. For our meal, our waitress forgot to put someone's order in so we all ate before our friend. They did make it right and did not charge us for their meal. What made me take off a star were the dishes were not clean all the way. Our creamer cup had left over ketchup in it so we had to get all new coffee. Food was very tasty but definitely need to do more quality checks.

David O.

Yelp
I'm writing this review while waiting for the rest of our $125 "price fix" meal on Valentine's Day. It seems as though the covenant you make with your customers is that expensive meals will include expensive service. This does not appear to be the case. The server, who is in no way responsible for the slow kitchen service just came and did an apology world tour. I appreciate her efforts immensely. The fact that it wasn't management is the most damning. The restaurant closed two minutes ago and we still have five more courses. I haven't been here during the "regular season" so I can't speak to that service, but I can say for $250 plus tax is in no way worth it. After this experience I am unlikely to return, and I can't recommend it for anyone else. Edit for clarity: Ultimately the restaurant could not meet the demand of the customers. The management let us go without paying (no new courses arrived after this review was posted) which was nice from a financial standpoint but pretty devastating when you consider that Valentine's Day is also my better half's BIRTHDAY. So, an inexpensive failure, but a failure nonetheless.

Mike H.

Yelp
Great new restaurant in 12 South! Very modern place. Went for brunch which had great beignets, brunch pizza pies, and breakfast cocktails.

Brooke C.

Yelp
Service was outstanding. The ambiance was welcoming and warming with nice live music. Not too loud with the music either. The food was wonderful with their brand new brunch menu. We will be back!

Hattie J.

Yelp
Had a FANTASTIC dinner here at Emery ! Charred asparagus, sweet potato kimchi fritters, shiitake dashi risotto, duck confit stroganoff, and chocolate torte with goat cheese, mint oil, and beet sauce. Everything was delicious from start to finish!!

David C.

Yelp
The waiting staff was amazing! The drinks were also amazing. But the service we received from one of the management Im assuming was awful. He didn't look us in the eye, talked away from us and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We decided to go elsewhere for food because of this. The live music was awesome! Again, the service was awesome but the attitude knocked it down.

Jen S.

Yelp
A little underwhelming. Brussels sprouts appetizer came out very quickly and was a generous portion: enjoyed the sprouts, but not fond of the apples. Got a pepperoni pizza and duck stroganoff entrees. These came out a considerably long time after our appetizer. Pepperoni pizza had a nice char crust yet slightly soft dough and was very thin. Stroganoff seemed a little light on duck and was a relatively small portion. The tequila cocktail I ordered was almost undrinkable as it had way too much orange juice. I swapped it out for my boyfriend's beer. Ambiance is great..,everything else was just plain average.

AJ The A.

Yelp
Such an amazing experience and the food was so scratch -made and authentic. I pray this place stays solid as the other 12 south places leave much to be desired. We had margarita pizza, grilled shrimp cocktail, pesto pasta, carbonara (you MUST order this), Nutella mouse, and a dessert special. Even the Arnold Palmers and glass of wine were perfection. And great service. Can't wait to go back! All pasta made fresh in house. I loved it!

Fresh R.

Yelp
This place was gorgeous. The food was mid not a lot of vegan options. The risotto had zero flavor but the mushrooms were the best part. Service was 10/10. Also they charge a random processing fee. Don't go here. There's way too many great restaurants in Nash to waste your time here.

CeCi C.

Yelp
Trying to be understandable with covid and staff shortages. But we honestly think they forgot about us. It took forever to get out drinks out and a table that sat down much later got their food before us Our waiter was friendly when she came to the table ... food was great but not worth the wait

Sarah N.

Yelp
First time at Emery was totally amazing! Jay was a great server, even as the restaurant got busy we experienced superb service. All of the food was magnificent: Meatball appetizer, short ribs, fish n chips, steak Diane, blackened steak tips, pizza and carbonara in our group. 10/10 will def return. Great evening, amazing food fun vibe

Erika P.

Yelp
Pros: Server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Everything came out super quickly. Pepperoni pizza, kimchi sweet potato fritters and onion dip were AMAZING. Outdoor ambiance is very inviting- can't wait to check it out in the fall. Very walkable area for a dessert elsewhere or nightcap. Cons: It is SO loud inside. My two friends and I felt like we'd lost our voices at the end of the meal from having to almost yell at each other all night. The veggie pizza was super underwhelming and lacked a lot of flavor. Tuna tartare was terrible. More of a poke than tartare. Whole dish was soggy, tasted super fishy and like the tuna wasn't fresh, further confirmed by the other friend who tried it and I's stomach issues for the rest of the night.

Valerie P.

Yelp
I would say this place is ok. The atmosphere is great but the food was ok and overly priced! It's cost $120 for two drinks, one pizza, one salad and meatballs that my husband and I split. Meatballs were dry and pizza was ok. I've had better. Not only that they charge you a $3 processing fee on your tab. I am guessing it's credit card fees which is wrong they make the customer pay. I've never heard of any restaurants doing that. This is a first. Our waiter was nice though.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that Faith, our server, was the best part of this experience. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. 5 star service for sure. The food was good, not amazing. 3 out of our 4 person party got the spicy bison bolognese. It was not spicy and not hot. The other person in our group got the short rib and it was in her words, "cold". Portion sizes were definitely on the smaller size for the price point. However, flavors were great and worked very well together. Food was fresh and cooked properly. This is a new restaurant, so given time to workout the kinks, I'm sure they'll thrive. Overall, a good experience.

Yelp
Emery has the opportunity to be 5 stars. What's holding it back is service (amount of staffing and attention to detail), pacing of the dinner, and understanding of consumer. Overall the drinks and food are good. But when you're paying this price tag you shouldn't have to annotate the meal to be paced out and served in a certain way. If we hadn't let the waiter know to not bring our apps before our cocktails (which we noticed would be an issue if we hadn't said something) we would have had most of our food before our cocktail even arrived. The waiter himself was great--it seems like a staffing capacity. Also, we weren't offered dessert or a request for anything else which made it easier to exit the meal.

Yelp
Service was good. Food was cooked right, had the rib eye, but way too much salt. Almost inedible.

Yelp
Great ambiance. Even in the winter, the front porch seating is heated and lovely. Great food!! Grilled shrimp cocktail and the wood fired meatballs are amazing! Love the taleggio & pear pizza with honey. Wow, so good. Great service too!

Yelp
Went there last night for dinner. We were able to seat outside right away (6:45) and were comfortable despite the chill thanks to all the heaters. We had great wine and my son said it was the best wood fired pizza he'd ever had (he's had a lot). I tried a piece myself. The crust was perfect, from on outside, soft on inside and not burnt at all. Pepperoni was pretty salty but I don't typically get it so take that with a grain of salt (ha ha). I had the summer salad with salmon and it was great! The veggies were all nice and fresh, the dressing was light and flavorful and the salmon was cooked well. Great place!

Yelp
Visited Nashville on a long weekend for my mom's birthday and came upon this restaurant! We loved the look - sleek and chic. The food was delicious and the service was great. We got a little bit of everything, and more! Since it was my moms birthday, they kindly threw in dessert. We ended up getting two :) if you find yourself in the area, be sure to order the sweet potato fried kimchi, and the grilled peaches... so good !
