Yelp
Summary: This place was good but pricey for what you got. The service and ambiance are not up to par with the food. The whole atmosphere is so discombobulated. Why are they BLASTING Taylor swift, to the point that I have to yell across my table? Super weird ambiance.
Service: Our service was either really slow (like waiting 10 minutes for water, then had to flag someone down to open our wine), or way too fast (checking in every 2 minutes, like when we hadn't decided and felt rushed). The server was friendly but the timing was off, she shared information that felt personal and unprofessional ("they told me I had to run the hot food before I could get your water") and all in all service did not match the prices on the menu. If you're going to charge $37 for an entree, your service should be more polished.
Food: Entrees were tasty, though portions were small for the price. We got the bolognese, fresh fish, peach/burrata salad, potatoes and asparagus for the sides. You can go to north italia and get 3x the portion for the same price (if not less), and the food there is delicious.
We passed on dessert and headed out with $150+ bill for 1 salad, 2 entrees, and 2 sides.
Worth noting, with a $25 corkage fee, the manager refilled our wine once, the server never did, and we had to do it the remaining times. I had to ask someone to open it, I had to ask someone to get us glasses, and I had to ask someone to get us a chilling bucket for it. What was the $25 fee for?
Can't see myself returning. Been wanting to try this place for a while and just left feeling like it was a subpar experience. Oh and the sun was beaming in and it was SO hot and uncomfortable.
