Emiliano's Pizza

Great family-owned pizza shop with huge number of options, all of which are great. The slices are huge and what’s even better is that I’m the vibe is very much a neighborhood shop not trying to gouge the customer but serving great pizza. The drinks are also priced ridiculously cheep. I was shocked that two slices of gourmet pizza and a can of soda only ran me $12.

Very good plain cheese pie! Classic NY style. Nice chewy bottom crust and crisp outer crust edges with a slight char. Cheese and sauce was flavorful. — at Emiliano's Pizza.

As a first time customer I was really surprised at the large slices and big selection of individual pizzas. I got the meat lovers and it was delicious. Definitely would go back when I’m in the area.

I was staying nearby for work and had the most delicious food here during my trip. Slices are huge and I loved the hot honey pep. I also had the meatball stromboli which had the perfect meatballs, juicy and tender. Only downside is the place had Fox News on the tv though, I prefer my pizza politics free haha.

I love their pizza and every Monday my husband and I order the same thing cause it's delectable. For us, it's a standing Monday night order, forever, of the most delectable, sexy tasting pizza. Thanks guy's for keeping Monday pizza night going for the order going to 131 6. My only teeny tiny problem is that they say they close at 10, but after a certain time they stop answering the phone. My question is why?

Came visiting from Canada on the hunt for some good pizza from NY...This was awesome! The atmosphere is nice, most seem to take out but inside is a nice homey place with seats up to 4 per table it seems. Service was great, very polite and friendly cashier as well as waiter. The slices we got were excellent. Pictured is the Honey Hot Pepperoni which was mesmerizing. The Margherita Pizza was really fresh. The chicken terriyaki was also really good. The variety is great and the prices are especially good. Definitely a must try.

Great pizza! OMFrog how I've missed great tasting pizza!!! Where I currently live, 2&1/2 hrs northeast in the southern Adirondacks for the last 3 yrs, there is NO good pizza place. I'm also VERY picky when it comes to pizza - so many places don't use quality ingredients or know how to make a good sauce and/or dough. I'm back downstate monthly for appointments and this day my friend & I were looking for a quick bite to eat before she dropped me off at the train back home. After a quick Google Maps search, I found Emiliano's, 1 of a few close pizzerias to where we were driving & it had good reviews, so we took a chance - boy were we happy we did! The slices are bigger than other places, the crust was crisp on the outside & soft on the inside, and the garlic bread was crispy on the outside & oh so soft & fluffy on the inside! Service was great - quick & they even brought it to our table. It was so good, my friend that I was with had pool in Poughkeepsie that night & she went back there with another friend who is VERY picky at where he eats, doesn't like trying new places and he loved it as well! If you're looking for a great slice or pie, stop in here, you will not be disappointed! Neither of us may live in the area, but we're in and drive through the area often, they are more than I, but you have 3 new loyal customers that will be back as often as we can!

I placed a delivery order, and it arrived incredibly fast. The pizza was hot, and the beverage was perfectly chilled. The taste was absolutely incredible!! without a doubt, the best pizza around! *The carrot cake was also delicious and fresh.

Nice old school vibe to this Main St pizzeria. Best slice so far in Hudson Valley. Being from Brooklyn most places have fallen short in the quality of pizza we are accustomed to. Nice crust and good sauce had me and my wife saying this place gets it right. I saw many combinations of pies you can order so we will be back to try some specialty pies next trip. Hands down my favorite pizza place in the area! We have been getting delivery once a week for at least the past almost 3 years! Food is always hot and quick and once or twice there has been a minor screw up, which can happen, they always make it right and then some! Can't say enough about this place!!

Emiliano's has one of the best salad and vegetable pizza you could ever want to taste! The slices are always huge and always piled high with fresh vegetables and salad. It's a family business so they always greet their customers with warmth and a welcoming feel. I've been coming here for over 3 yrs and never disappointed with service or food.

This is my go to for pizza in Poughkeepsie. It never disappoints. I've only eaten in restaurant once. The service was fine. The dining room was standard. I prefer takeout, which has always been prompt.

Emiliano's is the BEST! We have been coming here for four years and every visit here has been magnificent. If you like real NY style pizza, you will love this. The owners are friendly and easygoing, we always have great conversation. Please stop in.

FOR DELIVERY 2/7/24: A treat for the hardworking Vassar Brothers Medical Center ambulatory surgery staff on the second floor for taking care of my daughter. This is the pizzeria the staff recommended. The rating is based on his of ordering, prompt delivery within the stated, window, and the happiness factor that the staff had when I brought it up to them. My personal opinion on flavor can not factor in since I didn't taste it. . I asked the pizzeria to make extra slices so that everyone would have some. So instead of having 8 slices/pie, I'm hoping for 10. MY ORDER: One Large Cheese, one White, One meat lovers for the staff and ONE GLUTEN FREE to take home for my daughter. The Total for all for including the $8 tip for the delivery driver was about $70.00 TIP: Cheese White lovers gluten free.

Welcoming staff, great service, delicious dinner! Thoroughly enjoyed the garden salad and meatball pizza. Will certainly return.

Food and vibes are tops! Came in with some loved ones for a solid meal before a long walk. We had the stuffed cheese raviolis, sausage & brocolli rabe panini, baked ziti and a side order of meatballs which was all amazing! Solid portions and lovely service, it quite obvious why it's a neighborhood favorite. Definitely a great place to eat with your friends and family or even a solo meal. Also...Go Mets!

If you don't like Emiliano's, you don't like pizza. It's a busy, brusque pizza spot serving up enormous slices. A good pizza place is the town square of the community. Emiliano's really has it. Can't go wrong with a couple slices on a cold day at this place.

I'm glad you are fighting back about 1 star reviews. Your pizza, sandwiches, dinners, etc, etc are top notch. Your prices are very reasonable for the quality of your food!! I've never had a complaint.

Good is always on point. Service can be a bit busy but it's because so many people go there. I called to order 2 slices of pizza for pick up order and was told it would be at least a 30 minute wait. FOR 2 PIZZAS!!!! Either way it's still my go to pizza in this crappy Poughkeepsie area. 4 stars cause of the wait for pizza at times.

I was there a couple of nights ago before closing and just wanted a grilled chicken salad with garlic knots but they said they only had garlic bread ,I said that's fine . I was annoyed at first I was waiting to put my order in when they were helpind people who just walked in but I remained patient. I didn't eat open up my food until the next day which was a mistake by me ,I opened the container and was in shock the lettuce or ice burg lettuce was the same color of the container that was white 2nd no grilled chicken I don't know what order they gave me but everyone but everyone that came in ordered anything but salads I should've known my fault ,I asked for no olives but I got olives smh again my fault !I should've looked . I paid for grilled chicken and got dead iceberg lettuce or the bottom part 3rd garlic bread with no garlic just butter again I should've open the container

Love Emiliano's. I've been eating at this Pizza place since I was a kid. Love the staff here. My fav is the white slices. Omg so good.

A solid pizza place for speciality slices! Came here looking for a quick bite before heading home. Service was as sweet and polite as can be as we ordered a few regular slices and a white slice. While you wait, enjoy the scenes of Italy painted on the walls. The white slice came with a thin spreading of ricotta with plenty of herbs and garlic on top. It was delightful. The garlic actually had a sweetness to it which was not offensive. And the undercarriage is quite thin but still soft. The regular slice on the other hand, not my favorite. Still thin, still cheesy, but I wish the sauce had a bit more flavor to round it out. Overall, if you find yourself starving after a hike or a walk in the area, would gladly recommend this place!

This is my favorite spot for pizza EVER. I've never had a complaint here. Staff is awesome, dining room is quaint and clean, and the food is GREAT. Stop in for a slice and listen to Italian music whike you eat on the red checkered tablecloth. I cant say enough good about this place!

Emiliano's pizza has been here for ages. Almost as good as cold spring pizza. The only itlain restaurant on Main Street I would go to.

Delivery was quick, but the pizza was so soggy. The salad was at least 1/3 chopped cabbage. Won't order from here again.

After loading a moving truck for a family of four we were getting on the road to our unload destination and called Emiliano's for dinner four seven of us, asked the staff for plates, napkins, cups three different times. Spent $73. Upon delivery the food came without the eating accessories. We asked the delivery driver for them & he said "that's all they gave me." Rather than oh I am sorry I will go get them & come back, I called the restaurant loudly upset stating I asked three times and you still didn't send them. I'm sending the driver back for them. I told the driver even though he heard me being loud and he left. I call the staff back to confirm this and they did not answer my call. I have been a patron for over 30 years. They can take their food and shove you know where. I'd bet it was the brother owner who is a creep. I will never order from there again nor recommend them. Service and delivery sucked and he is a creep!!

Food is really good. But lately the service over the phone has been pretty awful. I find whoever works at making the phone calls is very rude and has not customer satisfaction skills at all. I order a pizza with a side order or bake ziti and fried calamari and a slice of chocolate cake. Unfortunately I received a phone call from the restaurant telling me they don't have chocolate. I asked nicely if I could get it replace by something else instead. Who ever i spoked to over the phone was very rude and didn't offer any options as to just call the app and get my refund for my money instead of giving me options with what I could replace. This is not the first I have ordered through the app and got very rude phone calls back from the restaurant about clarifications on my order . Besides the food being really good. The service and customer experience was awful

We were in Poughkeepsie to visit the nearby Discovery Museum and happened upon Emiliano's. Boy were we lucky. This pizza brought me back to my youth, delicious thin crust just the right amount of sweet and savory sauce and cheese. The slices were large and there was even a Monday special - a whole pie for $10!!! I don't live anywhere near Emiliano's but if I were to be passing by again, I would make sure to stop. Delicious and worth the trip. Service was very friendly.

Grew up in Poughkeepsie but haven't been to this place in years! Ordered take out and was pleasantly surprised with the pizza. Our cheese pie had a nice crisp crust. The buffalo chicken tenders were pretty good too! We were really disappointed with the Stromboli though- it was more like a thin wrapped calzone. I read on the menu that they are made to order so maybe it truly wasn't cooked enough. The veggies and chicken inside were mushy and flavorless. It wasn't crisp and the surrounding bread was really thin and hard to handle. See photo! Definitely wouldn't recommend that dish. Will definitely give it a try again but likely stick to the pizza!

Monies Worth AND SOME LARGE portions, enough to feed a family. Emiliano shows pride in what he does. Comes out form the kitchen to greet guest. The space has a real Italian Pizza Shop feel about. It's become a favourite take out spot for us.

It's not that it isn't cool that Poughkeepsie's new pizza profile is great. Hudson & Packard? Love Detroit. Lolita's? The kale caesar salad compliments the tasty sopressata/mozzarella/garlic thing. But one thing you're never going to get from hip and fashionable new arrivals is Emiliano's white clam pizza. This is an old-world clam pie to rival anyone, any city. These aren't canned clams. These bivalves are the real thing. The cheese, the oil, the garlic -- the garlic! -- and the herbs are the real thing. There's an art to a clam pizza, and it's dying. But not here. Plain slice? Perfect, of course. Staff? Friendly and welcoming. Customers? All kinds. Check it out. Glad that arugula and house pickled jalapeno have come to town. But pizza? It's here.

We got takeout pizza. They were so friendly. The cheese pizza, sausage pizza & white were all terrific, even after traveling an hour home! The crust was the way NY pizza should be! Can't wait to go back!

I ordered a chicken parm sub and a slice of sausage and pepperoni pizza. The food was delivered very fast the pizza was ok (not great not bad) the sub however was horrible, very dry almost no sauce no flavor. For $20 I honestly expected better. First impressions not good. I called and spoke to person that took my order and explained the sandwhich was very dry hardly any sauce her response was all our food is pre measured, etc then was told prices had gone up (which is irrelevant) if the food is worth it I don't mind paying the price. Acted like she really didn't care

I have to say I'm impressed. It was a busy night there and they didn't miss a beat. Food was ready on time and service was good. In today's time to see the amount of food for the price is refreshing and it was delicious af!

Last minute stops for the kids as we were visiting Poughkeepsie on our quick trip to take a walk on the Walkway over the Hudson River. Our young ones were hungry and wanted to eat Pizza. We tried our luck here in downtown Poughkeepsie and were pleasantly surprised. We ordered a large plain Pizza and the kids love it. Costs us less than $15 excluding tips. This place has really nice interior. Highly recommended.

Ordered some take out pizza from Emiliano's while in Poughkeepsie with my roommate. I was really excited because NY pizza has a great rep but I was a bit disappointed with Emiliano's. I got the BBQ Chicken Pizza with add on onions. The add on onions were $2.25 which is kind of expensive, especially for onions. I was a little confused because usually BBQ Chicken Pizza includes onions already but that's okay. I like onions with my BBQ chicken. Then when I opened the pizza box I found out they weren't even red onions? And there were definitely not enough onions to warrant the extra charge. The chicken was pretty dry and overcooked. The BBQ sauce was okay but definitely did not overcome the dryness of the chicken. I would not order the BBQ Chicken Pizza again. Overall, I was not impressed with Emiliano's Pizza.

Horrible customer service My pizza pie was hard my kids & I had ordered a large pie on a Saturday night the staff were rushing to close and go home when I arrived all staff about four in total were ready in their coats just staring at me & just passed me the pizza pie. All the lights were out. It was just a horrible environment a horrible experience. Got home the pizza was warm & hard not satisfying at all. I would not recommend this restaurant ever. Horrible food horrible customer service if I could rate them a Zero I definitely would.

Love places like this. The food was good. The service was great. Atmosphere was cool as well. Prices are very reasonable as well. Nothing bad to say.

Let me start by saying that the chicken parm pizza is the BOMB! It was so good. I live in AZ now, so whenever I come to visit the mid hudson valley region, I'm always looking for a delicious slice to eat. Everything about the slice was amazing. The location is a bit small, and with covid, it wasn't a great space for a large crowd. (You have to walk past the other tables to order). When I walked in, no one greeted me. There's a stand with a thermometer that says "Feel free to take your temperature," but I didn't see anyone take it. I walked up to the counter because I wasn't sure where to order, and the staff wasn't the friendliest, but they took my order and delivered the pizza to the table. My friends got a sub sandwich and a slice of hawaiian with anchovies. Both said their meals were great. Food was great, but the atmosphere could be better.

Customer service over the phone at 8:43pm on 2/29/24 and a few other dates have been so horrible I've decided they don't deserve a dime of my money. The person sounds like they are mad at the world for having to work there! Who wants to pay for nasty etiquette? Not on my dime.

Ordered white pizza with the broccoli and ommmmmggggg delish. Delivery driver was on the dot for delivery time. ( used the slice app) can't post a picture, it was devoured before the pic was taken.

Service, pizza, and environment is a NO for me. Pizza is just disgusting. Would never eat their food again or even give to my dog!!! dough taste old and some staff are very rude on the phone.

Want a slice that you can fold like you would in NYC? Emiliano's is the place for you (and me)! I only order a large plain cheese pizza and the scent and flavor of the pizza truly reminds me of all the great slices I've had in the city. It's not at all greasy and gooey in all the ways it needs to be. I usually walk up and order and it's ready in about 15-20 minutes. Check their webpage for a $2 off coupon although there are exceptions of when you can use it.

Good (not great) pizza - prices are good - but that probably goes with lesser quality ingredients. The vibe is great in there & seem to have a good following.

Friendly service in small family run pizza place. The personal size gf pizza was good and the toppings were excellent. My wife who doesn't require gf food had a Stromboli with sublime tomato sauce.

Emiliano's is a simple yet tasty spot of pizza and quick bites. We have both eaten at the restaurant and have ordered from them and the food is delicious, but for some reason, my orders often comes with one or more additional ingredients. The penultimate time we ordered, I got a salad pizza; nothing in the menu said it contained cheese, but it came filled with cheese. The last time we ordered, my Margherita pizza didn't even have mozzarella on it, but (I am guessing) cheddar and topped with Parmesan (which I never asked for and don't eat). In the past we never had this issue but now, I am becoming hesitant about ordering from them. But in the end, the food hits the spot when I can eat it. Its worth checking out.

Food is great big enough to fill you right up service to me was great I used them for many years and when I moved to Staatsburg I called them and they knew my name and number cuz I was going to them for a long time I told them where I was living and asked if they'd deliver to my new address and they said cuz I was a loyal customer and always used them that they would do it and just charge me the normal delivery fee and now that I'm back in Poughkeepsie I use them every chance I get amazing service and food

The food is amazing. The customer service experience isn't. If all you care about is great food then go for it but if it matters to you to be treated like you are valued as a customer because you choose this restaurant out of all the wonderful local choices then you may want to explore your options.
