Emilie's Coffee House & Wine Bar

I’ve been here a handful of times, always the most friendly staff. Just an absolute sweet & cute atmosphere! Their toasts are always delicious and we always order multiple. Lox toast is full of lox and my fave. Blueberry and ham & cheese toasts are also some faves! Mediterranean salad was also huge and delicious. The only complaint I have every time is their cold brew is not even slightly drinkable. I always am hopeful but then completely disappointed. It is EXTREMELY bitter and I even mixed in extra water and cream but me and my friends couldn’t even drink any. So I ordered a cappuccino, the cashier was so sweet and even gave me some lavender syrup in it to try for free, again it was very bitter and burnt tasting. Drip coffee is typically fine though. I’d love to come enjoy a cold brew that was smooth! Might I suggest using Rising Star coffee, always the absolute best beans.

It’s a quaint little full service coffee shop that’s locally owned and supplied by local coffee providers and bakers. The prices are incredibly reasonable. The coffee is great and the food is fantastic. Service is superb - the staff and owner is super friendly and attentive.

We had Julie wait on us and she is amazing! So friendly and accommodating! The atmosphere inside is cozy and I had the best coffee I’ve ever had. The spritz my mom ordered was so good. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and everything is made to look appetizing. Also-for the quantity and quality of food and drinks, the prices were very reasonable. Please go here! Lovely spot to enjoy a delicious bite and a delightful beverage… I have enjoyed three visits here for coffee and on another occasion, a wonderful Elderberry Hibiscus iced tea and fresh wonderful Mediterranean salad for lunch. Great place to catch up with a friend or a book! 📕 I love seeing the gatherings that transpire all around you there. I noticed a couple of outside tables have been added just outside of front entry too. It is regularly and pleasantly buzzing with activity here.

I was really excited to try Emilie’s after hearing so many great things, but my first visit left me a bit disappointed. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, especially given how busy it was, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Holiday coffee and apple butter toast. Unfortunately, the coffee wasn’t as flavorful as I’d hoped, and I was a bit let down by that. The apple butter toast was tasty, but the bread was a little too hard for my liking. Overall, it’s a super cute spot, and I’m glad I gave it a try, but for the price, I just expected a bit more quality wise. I do appreciate the efforts of this business and would be open to trying something else on the menu next time!

Food and service is always amazing!! Great place to catch up over coffee with friends and family.

This is my third visit to Emilie’s Coffee House, and I'm amazed! The atmosphere here is simply incredible, and the coffee is delicious. Although everything looks very simple, both the interior and the cuisine, at the same time, everything is created with a certain theme that impresses with its thoughtfulness and style.

Wonderful spot, and apparently needed in the neighborhood, because it's absolutely thriving just a week after opening. Absolutely delicious veggie toast, and my latte was perfection. Best for small groups of people, so bring a friend but not the whole family during the busy times. Just a great experience here.

Whenever we visit my sister, we make at least one (if not daily) visits here. It's a reliable choice in the area for a fun seasonal latte or another solid staple coffee option. We've only had toasts once, but they were just right as well. It does get super busy, so I recommend going early or expecting to have to wait a bit for a spot to sit. If you're getting to go, they turn things around pretty quickly despite being busy. I personally love to cozy up on the couch if available, but the whole space is fresh and bright and comfy.

Solid 3. Coffee was a miss, which is big for me as coffee is kinda my only jam lol. They donate to charities, have a magically laid back atmosphere ans plenty of pretty ladies to help out....but the coffee came tasting incredibly burned and despite getting my order wrong, fixing my order took a lot more work and still ended a bit off. Will retry and perhaps edit this.

It was my first time here, and it was great! This place receives A TON of hype, which usually makes me nervous, but I'd say it lived up to it! My mom and I stopped in on a Friday morning, and it was extremely busy! Not one single seat available, so we had to eat in our car :( There are about 50 or so coffee shops within 5-15minutes of my house, whereas Emilie's is about a half hour away. With that said, I really don't have a reason to come back. I also would never make the 30 minute drive without knowing I'll be able to have a place to sit. But if someone I knew needed a rec for a coffee shop further from Cleveland on the Westside, I'd recommend it to them! This place is a tiny little spot, nicely decorated. Very crisp and earthy. They use locally roasted ReadySet Coffee if you're one who likes to know that sort of thing. That being said, our lattes were DELISH! We got a honey bee latte and a honey lavender latte, both hot. Mmm so good! We each got a toast / tartine as well. Delicious !!! I got a veggie and my mom got a lemon blueberry (hers was way better) but both were great. And very large portions! I was impressed with how large they were ! Service was fairly quick, no complaints.

Emilie Coffee House is a cute cafe on the west side. The cafe is spacious with many table and bar options. I would call it very earthy with coastal inspirations and tree themes. The parking lot is pretty spacious. The menu offers a variety of hot and cold drinks options. I selected nitro cold brews, they were a generous service and came in adorable to go cups. They also have a mini case of small bites such as scones and such. The scone tastes very fresh and delicious. Service is very attentive and drinks were served pretty quickly. The cafe is a very popular destination, be ready to stand in line and for crowds.

Such a cute place in the heart of AL! Drinks were delicious and the staff were very friendly.

A pure gem in Avon Lake - Emilie's is a quaint little coffee house, perfect for a meet up with friends or a solitary latte + book reading hang. Vegan + gluten free options available! Everyone is also quite friendly, which adds to the overall welcoming and inviting qualities of Emilie's.

Visited today, on a Friday morning, and it was super busy, I guess that's what happens when there is very little competition in the area. There was not a single place for us to sit, so we had to take our toast (veggie and blueberry) and latte to go, which was disappointing because it was my daughters birthday and we wanted to relax - but oh well I guess. Maybe they can figure a way to add a few more tables? I was not overly impressed with the decor, I mean it was fine, but very monotone and boring. However, both the coffee and toast were great. Emilie's overall was a good experience, and I'm glad we visited because we have a long list of coffee shops we have gone to within 30 miles of Cleveland and this one has been on our list for a while - so we were able to check it off - but I'm ok to not go back, as it was inconvenient to go to (from Cleveland) and not worth the drive to sit in my car........

Beautiful shop and lovely staff and amazing service. The coffee was ok, we didn't try the food, but what i saw come out looked scrumptious. Hoping to come back and try a different coffee option next time!

This place has a wonderful vibe, plenty of space and excellent friendly service. My sister and I had a relaxed morning breakfast and coffee at the bar, chatting for hours. While we were obviously not regulars, the service was both gracious and friendly. The tables are not crammed together so the vibe is both stylish and spacious. I didn't ask why there was a huge safe door behind the bar but I assume this place was once a bank. Either that or they endeavour to keep the important coffee safe! The coffee was tasty and the menu has an assortment of unique toasts. My avocado toast was delicious. Life is good with a unique, local friendly breakfast and coffee shop.

I reviewed this place when it first opened and felt the need to write an updated one. Visiting Emilie's continues to be the highlight of day. From the kind staff, cozy atmosphere, and yummy coffee and bites, I find myself so lucky to have this gem in my town. Their lattes are delicious without being overly sweet. Their toast are perfection. I also love that they have pastries and home goods from local small businessws that you can purchase. If you haven't checked out this spot, or if it's been awhile since you have, stop in and have a coffee !

Emilie's is a cute coffee and wine bar in Avon Lake. It is located in a retail area and easy to find. The staff were friendly and helpful. When we visited there were no hot drinks available, so we ordered iced coffee and an iced London Fog. I enjoyed their choice of glassware. The toasts were very good and they had vegan options. You order at the counter, they give you a number and bring your order to the table. There seemed to be lots of seating and at noon on a Friday they were very busy. There are lake themed items for sale as well as local food items in their retail area. I did not see outside seating. This was also the second time i stopped in. The first time they had a sign on the door of their altered hours. There were several days during a week they closed early.

The cutest little coffee shop with great small plate food and quality ingredients! The staff is wonderful and the vibe here is bright, open and clean! One of my new favorite places!

Emilie's Coffee House is such a cute, cozy, and beautifully decorated place to come and enjoy coffee and treats! I was excited to stop in and try this place as I've been hearing a lot about it on FB! The parking lot is large, so there won't be a problem finding a spot. In the inside, the business was swarming with coffee lovers! It was PACKED, but the line moved fast and the orders were out in a timely manner! There are tons of drink options to pick from, including seasonal drinks that you can customize any way you like! And you also have the option to enjoy an array of food options: toasts, salads, or pastries! I ordered the Philomena Triple Berry Lemon Scone, which was so yummy! You could taste every berry in every bite - I can only imagine how good it would've tasted if I warmed it up!!! For my drink I tried a warm seasonal Gingerbread Latte! It was the perfect drink on a cold rainy day - it had cinnamon & nutmeg notes! YUM! She also has a collection of locally created items including hats, candles, cards, keychains, mugs, etc. that you can buy! She also is selling her very own house blend you can buy and enjoy at home! I can't wait for the drive thru, and especially the wine bar to open up later this year! I'm very excited to see where this wonderful place goes! Thank you Emilie!!

Emilie's giving summer in the Hamptons energy! Compete with seasonal coffee drinks, old photos, and cute plants, this is a fresh new spot. While I've never seen a wine bar and coffee house combo before, it is such a great idea. Emilie has great breakfast options too...including avocado toast. I would love to go this fall. This location would be a great work from home or study spot.

Ever since finding this place I've been obsessed! I now visit at least one a week. Their coffee is my favorite in the area (coming from an iced latte lover). Being able to get the gluten free lox toast puts this place over the top for me! It's usually quite busy, especially on the weekends, but can expect to get through the line and have your coffee in about 15 minutes. The aesthetic is very bright and open with a coastal vibe. They have lots of cute things for sale as well like mugs, hats, tote bags, and sweatshirts!

This place is hands down my top 3 coffee places in Ohio. The food is outstanding, the toasts are to die for and the vibes are nothing short of magical. The mom and daughter duo are so sweet and they always bring consistency in the level of excellence the food and drinks provide. The service goes above and beyond. They are all about community and it is a special place. It used to be an old bank so the ambiance is 2.0!!

Loved stopping by Emilie's to check out the newest coffee shop in Avon Lake! The parking lot is large so it was easy to find parking. Inside was bustling! Got my coffee order right away with recommendations from Emilie herself to try the winter spice speciality drink. It was delicious!! They have a small selection of local gifts (cards, hats, candles) that you can also purchase. Ended up grabbing a candle too! Can't wait to come back and try the food on the menu. Thanks, Emilie's!

First time visiting Emilie's in Avon Lake with some fabulous friends. It's cozy and charming ~ 5/5 stars! I had the almond butter toast w/sliced bananas, chia seeds & honey. It was chef's kiss perfection!

So yum!!!! I cannot even say enough good things about this place. It's so cute, the food is great, the drinks are delicious. My only complaint would be they need more seating cuz this place is always busy! I'm new to the area and am trying all the recommendations and this is one- I will definitely be back! The service was fantastic too. Very nice sweet people.

I this spot! And, that is weird, only because I am not a coffee person, lol! That said, I've been a couple times with friends. I tried a spritz and the mulled cider - both DELISH! And, I must say, all of the toasts are so yummy. The vibe is cute and comfy, and I always check out the retail area - bought one of my most favorite Coastal Cleveland hoodies here. Definitely worth the drive from Lakewood for a nice Sunday morning with friends!

A friend and I met up there at 9:00 am on a Tuesday. Upon arrival, the crowd was nearly lined up out the door and nearly every table was occupied. Of the top of my head, I'd say seating handled maybe 50 patrons - I'd guess 20 tables, a couple couches, etc. Ambience is lovely and very feminine. Crowd was mixed though - men, women, older, younger, moms with little kids, etc. Had an auto drip and split both a savory and a sweet croissant. Everything was very good. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Would I go back? Absolutely.

Their lattes are fantastic! I really love this coffee shop. And it has an elegant nautical theme inside. They posted a sign recently that they are now laptop free, and I could see why, it's very popular!

Healthy, quick and so comfortable chic - love this amazing addition to Avon Lake. The coffee and other beverages are gourmet. The syrups are made in-house and the small boutique is adorable. This is what our city needs more of!!
