The Biggest Las Vegas Restaurant Openings in March 2025 | Eater Vegas

"From the same operators, the menu shifts with the day: breakfast features mini pancakes, tropical fruit plates, and steak and eggs, while dinner emphasizes shareable Mexican-inspired plates such as guacamole paired with plantain chips and tacos made on handmade tortillas." - Janna Karel

Emilio’s has truly authentic Mexican food! I’m always amazed by the quality and the unique ways they prepare traditional dishes — every bite is full of flavor. What really keeps me coming back, though, is the staff. Rowena is a total pro behind the bar — fast, friendly, and she knows every cocktail by heart. Leilani, Riley, and Lea are just as wonderful! They always make me feel like family and even take the time to make my favorite cocktails “skinny.” It’s such a joy to visit every time. My favorite dishes are the Mini Chicken Tostadas, Ceviche Dos Mundos (it’s giant and delicious), and the Aztec Grain Bowl — I like to add their shredded chicken tinga to it. Their classic quesadillas with shredded chicken tinga are big enough for two people, and the Carne Con Papas is fantastic. Although those are the only things I’ve tried so far, every one has been amazing! My only small complaint is that I think Emilio’s would be even busier during happy hour if they advertised it on their website. They also have a great Taco Tuesday, which isn’t listed online either. I’ve mentioned it to management but haven’t seen it updated yet. I’m a local and would love to see them continue to grow and stay successful — it’s one of my favorite places to go!

We came to Emilio's on a recommendation from a friend. I immediately noticed how classy & serene the atmosphere is. We had brunch. We tried the Carne Asada tacos & the El Vacuero Breakfast Plato. Both were excellent. The customer service & friendliness from their staff made our first time experience enjoyable. We'll be back soon to try other menu items.

Great place for brunch. Authentic flavors and healthy options. Definitely delicious and recommended having the strawberry macha…or two lol very good! Love the tres leches cake with horchata. Servers are great and very easy going. Thank you so much for your service here.

I love this place! Our waiter Leilanie set the vibes as she guided us through the menu. I had the Alebreje cocktail and subbed the grey goose for gun!!! AMAZING! My partner and I shared the family plate… plenty for us plus lots to take home for leftovers! Food was flavorful… And very authentic tasting! Next time we are in town we will be back!!!

This restaurant is beyond delicious. I totally recommend it. The service was good, the food was excellent and the drinks were amazing. We got the kids potato and eggs with a side of fruit. The chorizo burrito. The two flautas(taquitos). The pancakes came with potatoes and eggs. The Concha is probably THE BEST CONCHA ever made. Not even Mexico can bake such delicious concha. Great job!!! Thank you for having such great menu.

Google
Really solid spot! The chilaquiles are the standout!! crispy, flavorful, and comforting. The matcha was absolutely great, and the coffee and cocktails are definitely worth a try too. The tacos were good, but $12 for two is a bit steep. As someone who grew up in Miami, I’ll say the ceviche is decent, but let’s be real, fish in the desert isn’t the move. Stick to the chilaquiles and drinks! you won’t be disappointed.

Google
Fantastic food & service, thank you Leah! She was our server and was so kind, and answered all of our questions. My husband is vegetarian and I am gluten free so we were pleasantly surprised to find we were able to try almost the entire menu! If you’re GF I highly recommend coming*** It’s not everyday you find light, fluffy GF churros! We also had the chilaquiles, iced horchata latte, oya coffee, side of patacon with a great green sauce, chicken tacos, queso with corn, everything was delicious! And the price was very reasonable in my opinion, I will definitely come back on my next trip to Vegas!

The ambiance is relaxing yet vibrant, and the food is fresh and delicious. You can tell the care they take. Val our server was kind and attentive and took great care of us.

Yelp
On our trip from Oregon to Arizona, we decided to stop in Vegas specifically to go to Emilio's and the bakery my wife sees on YouTube. It did not disappoint!! From the second we stepped inside, the ambiance and service was warm and inviting! The food felt like it was cooked by my abuela. SO FANTASTIC!

Yelp
We absolutely loved our experience tonight. The food and service were the perfect example of what the Las Vegas food scene is all about. Growing up in southern California, I was exposed to plenty of Mexican cuisine, and I gotta say, this is some of the best I've had in a long time.

Yelp
I would like to wish the owners and staff at EMILIO's in Las Vegas all the best. I'm sad to hear that this wonderful restaurant is closing on December 23, 2025, due to a challenging economy. I was hoping to return with more of my family and friends, but I will certainly remember the highlights of our visit back on October 25, 2025. -Tableside Cafe De Olla Latte: terrific presention and a soothing drink to pair with brunch -Fire Roasted Jalapeño Caesar Salad: loved the amount of fresh Parmesan cheese and the touch of jalapeños -El Burro: one of the best chorizo burritos I've had The ambiance is gorgeous, inviting, and refreshing! I hope you get to try Emilio's for yourself before they close the doors for good.

Yelp
Place close to home with lots of GF options. I think it's also priced fairly too. I found this place on FindMeGF, another app geared towards gluten free restaurant reviews. Overall, I loved this place. Food was 5/5. They have gluten free churros! We started with drinks, they were good and easy to drink! They start you off with chips and salsa. We also got the queso as an app. I love their chips. Perfectly thick, perfect salt, perfect brown color. Queso was good but a little runny. May have needed more corn? For entrees, I got the chicken fajitas and my wife got chicken Al pastor. I really liked both - especially their tortillas. Why I'm giving 4/5 is because of the service. It was too fast, and then too slow. Our hostess sat us right night to the only other people in the restaurant which was awkward but it eventually filled up and was fine. Our server was really quick to take our order but then slower once our food was delivered. Totally acceptable service, just not up to 5 stars. I will definitely come back. It's by my house, and there are lots of GF options I want to try next.

Yelp
First & foremost, my fiancé and I came recommended from TikTok, and it definitely didn't live up to what we had saw. We were the only customers there for a good 20 minutes & still waited about 30-35 minutes for our food to come out. Wasn't given that "complimentary pan dulce", nor the chips & salsa everyone posts about. I tried the fresas con crema matcha, it was super sweet, & thick. 3/10 We tried the corn dip queso as a starter, not melted just chunky really. 4/10 Our entrees were El Vaquero Breakfast Plato & the chilaquiles divorciados. My fiancé ordered his steak Medium and they brought it out basically almost well done, & the eggs were super salty. As for my chilaquiles, the red sauce was extremely salty, and the green sauce had no flavor. 4/10 Overall I rate our experience a 3/10. Personally I wouldn't recommend, it's all hype.

Yelp
After wanting to try this place ever since it opened, I finally made it in! We started off with the matcha flight & it was DELICIOUS 10/10 recommend, then we had the the fire roasted jalapeño Caesar salad, huevos rancheros, and chilaquiles. I love that they added red and green sauce for the chilaquiles, the salad was amazing! A little spicy but the perfect balance. I love that the food and drinks are made with quality ingredients and I can't wait to go back and try new items next time.

Yelp
From the moment I walked in, I was impressed--the vibe was fresh, clean, and inviting. This is exactly the kind of spot you want when you're craving great Mexican food. Genevieve greeted us at the door with a warm smile, and her passion for the food and the restaurant was contagious. Not long after, Ashley came by with some fantastic recommendations--and we followed every single one of them! Here's the move: sit down, order the queso (better yet, order two), and just indulge. Worth every penny and absolutely delicious. Then grab a couple of tacos, and if you happen to be there during breakfast or brunch, don't skip the pancakes--they're as good as they look in my photos! Finish strong with the churros. They come fresh out of the kitchen with three incredible dipping sauces, and they're the perfect sweet ending to an already amazing meal. Everything we had was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. And because I rate bathrooms too--bad, basic, or bougie--this one gets a solid bougie five stars for spotless cleanliness. Well done, Emilio's--you nailed it!

Yelp
Beautiful neighborhood gem & Amazing food! A little pricey but the place is so nice inside that once you sit down, you'll make sense of it Come here on a date or bring your bestie! Everything was delicious but the Tostada was my fav!! I'll be back, Emilio!!

Yelp
Delicious food and good service. Very sad that this restaurant is closing. Thank you to the Emilio's staff and best wishes.

Yelp
They have a brunch and dinner menu and the dinner menu doesnt start until 5pm. So when I went we could only order off the favorites and from the taco menu at 4:30pm. I thought the ceviche with fish and shrimp, plantain chips; were delicious. 4/5 The carnitas tacos are supposed to be a favorite but it was reallllly dry :( however $9 for 2 loaded tacos was really not too bad. My friends got the shrimp and carne asada tacos and had a much better experience. Servers were nice but not as attentive for an empty restaurant. Decor is beautiful so great for events but it wasn't really for me.

Yelp
Let me start with the ambience the place is super cute with a boho vibe, cozy, and welcoming. We got seated quickly, and our server was amazing: friendly, attentive, and always checking in to make sure we were taken care of. We came for lunch, and while the menu is a bit limited, everything we tried was flavorful. I do wish they'd let you mix items from breakfast and lunch, but what we did order really stood out. The aguas frescas were refreshing, and the horchata was especially good creamy, smooth, and not too sweet, just perfect. For food, the carnitas flautas were crispy and delicious, and the ceviche was fresh and bright loved it with the plantain chips!. The guacamole was also excellent and paired beautifully with those same chips. The chorizo with cheese wasn't my favorite too heavy on the cheese, and I think it would've been better with Oaxaca cheese but everything else made up for it. Dessert was the best part. The horchata tres leches cake was flavorful and not overly sweet, though a little on the firm side I would have loved it to be softer. The churros, however, were absolute perfection: crispy on the outside, soft inside, and they just melted in your mouth. Overall, this spot has great service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a fun take on modern Mexican cuisine. With a few more menu options, I'd definitely call it a go-to favorite.

Yelp
First off, the ambience is amazing. Love the decor, everything is so cute. The service was wonderful as well, our server was sweet and patient. As for the food, most was great. I just feel like there were a few small things I'd do differently about the food: the salad we've ordered at first tasty but was all sour, no different flavors in it. The vegetarian taco was delicious but could have been much better of it wasn't fried, and perhaps wasn't as packed with veggies on top, Overall I'm a fan. Of the owners, of local restaurants, of Mexican food. Will come again

Yelp
Ever since I saw photos from my mom's and aunt's visit to Emiliio's for brunch, I knew I had to try it too. The opportunity arose when an out-of-town friend visited. Her, I, my eldest son, and another local friend all went together. Some thoughts about what we ordered: Street Corn Queso: Rather than purely heavy, with rich, melted cheese, this queso has an eloté spin to it. The combination of spiced street corn with fatty dipping cheeses, like queso, was eloquently balanced and tasteful. Tostados Rosa: This is the pretty but petite dish of the bunch--as long as you adore festive veggies. It is absolutely delicious and beyond gorgeous. The beets really give it that ending dollop of oomph-level flavor. Kid's Mini Pancakes: These are especially fluffy and sweet, with cinnamon in their dough, and a cinnamon sauce plus whip cream topping on the side. They're served with some lightly sprinkled berries. Veggie Tacos + Carne Asada Tacos: Although I'm not sure which veggie tacos my friend ordered, both that, plus the carne asada tacos, were juicy and bursting with yumminess. Near the end of our time at Emilios, all of us were playing Kid's Charades with my son. We were regularly getting out of our booth to act out a word on a card with our full bodies. Instead of being bothered by our attention-getting shenanigans, the staff just laughed and smiled. Overall, I had an amazing time at Emilios. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Yelp
Emilio's is a really nice little restaurant in Rhodes Ranch. We were looking for a place with both a bar and decent food. We were very pleased with the bar, and the service provided by the employees. Unfortunately, the food kinda missed on all dishes. The chips were too oily (and I like oily), the chicken tostadas were not very good at all and cold, the carnitas tacos missed as well with an overcooked hard shell. The el burro burrito was ok. I applaud stand alone restaurants but our expectations were not met here.

Yelp
Flew from TX to Las Vegas just to try the Fresa Con Crema Matcha. It did not dissapoint 10/10 best dessert matcha I have ever had. My husband had the horchata latte and it was simply delish. The pastries were so savory and did not seem overly sweet. But it was Kaleah and Gen that made the experience phenomenal. They were so knowledgeable about the menu, the company and the history of the restaurant. You can tell the staff is a solid staff and so caring and kind. Reflects the great leadership that is the whole organization. If you are visiting Las Vegas, I highly recommend you stopping by Emilio's

Yelp
This restaurant is lovely! Very cute atmosphere. The entire staff is incredibly kind and attentive but special acknowledgment for the bartender from Hawaii. she made some awesome drinks and was really cool and friendly. I came specifically for the Love Island viewing which was so fun! I loved the bingo, the lei's and the cute menu's. They also had complimentary shots! I mean it was just so great of this place to host the show for us. the only reason I didn't give 5 stars was just the food, could have been better in my opinion but this place is worth checking out.
google avatar

Yelp
Ambiance is just perfect. Food is very delicious and addicting. Only thing that needs improvement is the service as it hasn't been on point the last two times I have been there.
google avatar

Catalina J.

Yelp
I highly recommend making a reservation in advance. This is a smaller space, they offer booth/table seating. It's beautiful inside here and the service was amazing. I will say the drinks did take longer but they rectified the situation with how long our wait was. Every dish we tried here was exceptional. The chips were seasoned beautifully (and gluten free!) they were nice and warm and the salsa was the perfect spice and texture. Their drink menu is great and the plating for everything was beautiful as well! The queso dip was delicious too. Had the perfect levels of spice and the queso was cooked to perfection. You can never go wrong with quesadillas and they melted the cheese inside perfectly. I opted for the chicken Al pastor and the chicken was sooo tender, it's enough to share with the table too. I will definitely be back. Thank you for such an amazing experience

Yelp
I'm almost conflicted writing this review. I'm a really big fan of Mexican food in general, whether it be contemporary, traditional, or Americanized. The majority of the food that I tried here was good and the interior was very well appointed but I really just can't get over the price of everything. $11 for two street tacos is ridiculous. While the entree that I got, the chicken al pastor, what's a lot of food and absolutely delicious, I very much disliked how all of the sides were also extra. It's almost surprising that the chips and salsa were not an additional cost. The drinks are expensive, pretty much strip level prices, but they were tasty. The employees and the manager seem to really care about the patrons here and kept checking in on us and even asking our opinion on the drinks, the food, and the menu font. For the dish that I ordered, I was told that it would take 25 minutes to make. I feel like this should have been on the menu. This resulted in me sipping my cocktail because I didn't want to pay nearly $40 for two drinks. Because I was sipping it, everybody kept asking me if it was bad, which it definitely wasn't. I would like to come back here because it was a very nice place but at this price point, it's a once in awhile tub of establishment for me, and that's if the food had completely blown me away.

Yelp
Love this place, the food and the staff. Beautifully decorated. The restaurant is named after the owner's dad and I loved the special touch on the menu that was Don Emilio's handwriting. The food was delicious, well seasoned and my eggs were perfectly cooked. The cafe de Olla was an experience. My brother ordered the fresas con crema matcha and it was soooo yummy. My sister-in-law ordered the pink tostada which comes with a guacamole Crema and she told them she was dairy free so to skip the guacamole crema. To her surprise they made her a dairy free guacamole crema so she could fully enjoy her tostada. We're very impressed that they are able to accommodate a lot of food restrictions. I will definitely be back next time I am in town.
google avatar

Yelp
Good ambiance, clean and nice. Great service. Loved the Table side Cafe de Olla Latte with cashew milk and the abuelita's flan. I was not to thrilled about the chilaquiles expected more flavor, more sauce I don't know if chips are made there but not a fan of that plate.
google avatar

Montse S.

Yelp
We dined in as a party of four and a toddler. Our server was amazing and he was so detailed about the menu and we loved it. The cafe de olla was nice and creamy but it is pretty sweet so keep it in mind. The little cookie next to it was amazing, had to take some home. We also ordered pan Dulce concha's and the guava pastry and we took home to share, so good! The chilaquiles were nice and crispy and the salsa matcha was heavenly. They also give you extra salsa on the side just in case. The steak was nicely cooked seasoned cleanly and well grilled. We are so stoked to return, the new plaza has a gem on its hands.
google avatar

Andrea D.

Yelp
I had seen this on one of the owners I follow on Instagram but wasn't aware it was this restaurant-until I walked in, (one of my friends recommended). Service was amazing, drinks were fun and a conversation piece and the carne asada tacos were delish. The menu is to the point but has great options and I'm looking forward to going back for brunch. Ashley was our server and both male owners touched all tables and asked how our experience was. All in all a win win and I highly suggest anyone that likes quality ingredients and contemporary Mexican food to check it out! The atmosphere was on point also.

Very fresh food. Great menu selections of breakfast and lunchtime item. Dinner looks good too. Service fabulous. Very clean place.

Yelp
Finally decided to make a reservation and try again for a visit. Got seated right away and was excited to try. (4/6/25) I should've realized they would have a different menu from breakfast/lunch/dinner- but that didnt cross my mind. My bad. But we still tried some of the dinner option drinks. And they were nice enough to let me order a drink from the breakfast menu. The ambiance is nice and open with a pretty calm environment. They start off with chips and salsa. They salsa is delicious! The chips however have a pretty hefty spice. It did not bode well with the party overall. The chips that come with Emilios Queso and Ceviche is also the same spicy chips. So unfortunately the dips were good but the chips were a downfall since it was too spicy for some of my party. They do have a non spicy option but you have to ask for it specially made. My party decided not to bother. The emilios famous street corn was more of a queso and lacked the "corn" portion. But it was good. We opted for the para todo familia meal with Grilled Broccolini and Patacones. The meats were delicious; chicken and shrimp being the favorites. The salsas were good. The tortillas were definitely home made. And finally the sides. The grilled broccolini had a great char, however the fried patacones were a bit too dry and only the first two were good cause they had garlic.m on it. However the biggest downfall had to be service. It left a pretty sour taste in our mouth and will most likely not be back for a bit. 1. We ordered drinks, and one was a beer that sat on the counter after it was shown to my party and just randomly finally got brought to the table. 2. Water sat empty for about 10 minutes while multiple servers walked by. Finally my party asked due to some spice issues from the chips and it was filled. 3. We were quoted about 20-25 mins for the family order; understood- but 40 minutes later and almost every party around us got food and we got empty plates. 4. To end the meal, we asked for the check and our table was cleared- and it still took 15 minutes for our check AND we had to ask twice. I'm hoping it was an off day, but the service compared to the counterpart Sorellina was a huge miss. Might be a little bit before we come back to hopefully just work through their first couple of weeks. I do want to shout out their manager: absolute sweetest! She made the service the only star that I would give for this experience***

Yelp
4 stars for the food and service within the restaurant. Minus 1 star for whoever handles their social media/yelp/website. The food was very very good! Great flavors and quality. The tortilla chips were a tad harder than I prefer, but still tasty. I ordered a few things as well as the white sangria which was very refreshing. The gentleman at the bar, Ernesto, is a gem. Very personable, and top notch customer service. Very well decorated place and cute lighting. It was pretty busy when I went in around 1230 pm. I liked the variety of different unique items to choose from. The churros.. wow! Unfortunately, I had to take away one star due to lack of communication. I posted twice on instagram on two diff posts if they had a lunch/dinner menu besides the soft opening one on the website. I never got a response. So then I sent a message on yelp asking if I could see a dinner menu as there is nothing updated on the website. My husband has certain diet restrictions and didn't want to make a reservation if there's nothing he could have. Anyways, someone read it and never responded. The website is pretty basic as well, and when you make a reservation, you don't get a text or email to confirm. So I was hesitant on visiting due to being ignored. Well I am glad I did go, as it was delicious. I did ask to see a dinner menu and there are some possible options, so my husband will be able to visit as well.

Yelp
Came in for brunch earlier this summer and was so pleasantly surprised! Great atmosphere here with natural lighting and simple decor. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and our meal was better than expected. A friend and I shared the chips and salsa (great salsa, made in house!), patacones montados (think mini avocado toasts but on fried plantain bites), the breakfast burrito (HUGE), and a couple of drinks - horchata latte and cafe de olla. The owners have a few other restaurants and the food quality has been hit or miss for me, but our meal here was great - will keep this spot in mind for a revisit to try their shrimp tacos and matcha drinks.

Yelp
After seeing someone's review on TikTok we decided to give it a try since it is close to mom's medical center. Service- 5 stars! Everyone is friendly. From the hostess to the waitress, they all smile and make you feel at home. The restaurant is super cute, good decor, modern, bar looks super fun, you don't feel crowded. Food- Note that we are Mexican so naturally tough critics : ) Carnitas are delicious, conchas are real, the cilantro rice is interesting, tastes like a lot of lemon and not fried before cooking. Chips are fresh made in avocado oil. The winner is the guava empanada and cafe de la olla. Our only complain is the salsas. Fresh but not great. I would experiment with better salsas. Daniel our waiter was very attentive and we loved him. We want to come back for dinner to try all the cocktails !

Yelp
I was so excited to try this restaurant because I follow one of the owners on social media. Yeah when arriving there the place was so nice from the inside. I thought it was going to be a pricey restaurant, but it was not. The prices are fair. The food has such an amazing taste. literally every single dish that we ordered we killed it. The server was such a great guy and I feel like they help each other. ps Horchata was a little strong. We did water it down a couple times it comes in a small cup, and you can easily pour water into it and make it last longer cause it was a little thick.

Yelp
I got 2 orders of chilaquiles salsa verde steak medium rare with over medium eggs and potato's I was shocked to hear my total was 73.70 I was even more shocked that my steak was well done my potato's were flavorless expect for the strong smell of garlic butter and my eggs were scrambled not over medium the salsa verde was really sour which I like but my wife doesn't overall the chilaquiles in my opinion were a 6/10 with those prices I don't think I'll be back even tho my steak was well done it was still pretty good 8/10

Yelp
Emilio's has been a go-to for brunch and dinner catch ups in town. They have three menus: Breakfast (8 AM - 3 PM), Emilio's Favorites (3 PM-5 PM), and Dinner (5 PM-Close). The ambiance is very open and polished. There is a bar area, tables, and booths for seating. The service was great and all of the waiters we kind, attentive, and have great suggestions. We were seated very quickly as a party of two. Now, for the food! We ordered Chilaquiles Divorciados, the Tostada Rosa, Horchata Tres Leches, and two Fresas Con Crema Matchas. This meal was during dinner time, but we were still able to order the Fresas con Crema Matcha that we loved from our previous visits. The chilaquiles had great flavor. If you prefer a more saucy chilaquiles you might want to ask for extra. The Tostada Rosa had so much on top. It's definitely enough for sharing. I also asked for anything spicy on the side and got a salsa de chile de arbol, but it wasn't very spicy. The Horchata Tres Leches was absolutely amazing. Make sure you save room for this perfectly sweet and moist treat. Overall, Emilio's is a great spot for a nice brunch or dinner. I heard they have a matcha flight now so that will be next on the table for a future visit!

Yelp

Yelp
Went for lunch and still sitting unsure about how I feel, weird I know! Place was clean and they immediately sat us, place was pretty empty for a Friday. The menu offers a sub variety of breakfast and lunch items and drinks. The waiter was great, and attentive and keep checking on us. The food was ok steak was super rare when asking for medium. Our drinks took a little bit to get to us. Still on the fence maybe i need to try again.

Yelp
Amazing service with beyond friendly staff! Food was to die for! So good and just the right amount! Love it! The atmosphere was romantic and friendly with a touch of warmth, definite going back whenever possible! Big thank you to Francisco, he was on it, friendly and gave us such great service that will keep us as a customer whenever we come back to Vegas. Note: make sure you ask for salt and pepper the shakers are adorable! Thank you Francisco and thank you Emilio's

Yelp
everything here was phenomenal ! we popped in for the first time and it was absolutely lit. our server was Richard and he killed the game. really pretty and comfy atmosphere, i was transported ! the flan latte and agua fresca (seasonal flavors) were outstanding. bito's pancakes were the greatest thing on the planet, mini tostadas were delicious, carnitas tacos were fire. ordered a La Coquetta (with gin instead of tequila as recommended by our server) and it was so wonderful and refreshing. amazing, we will be back !

Yelp
I really wanted to try Emilio's before they closed. Had a reservation for 1 PM on Sunday and twice was told the table would be ready soon after I inquired for an update, half hour later and no table was ready while walk in people were being seated promptly. The host would pass by and didn't even provide an update. I acknowledge they were busy but the service was lacking. Ended up going to another local spot with my party.

Yelp
We had to try the newest Mexican spot for breakfast. We tried the horchata latte as well as the fresas con crema matcha. The fresas matcha was the best drink I've ever had and would highly recommend. They also had a full bar but we didn't get a chance to try them although they all looked good and very creative. The food was honestly not great the salad was overdressed and slightly salty. The steak was dry and unflavored and the potatoes also lacked depth. I realize they are fairly new so they probably are still tweaking things. I enjoyed the drinks and will probably stop by for them soon and probably skip the food.

Yelp
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Emilio's Contemporary Mexican Kitchen is a total gem -- everything from the drinks to dessert was perfection. Chips & Salsa - 10/10 Fresh, house-made salsa that tastes just like my dad makes, paired with warm, crispy house-made corn chips. The perfect start. El Chulito - 10/10 Weber Ranch vodka, Licor 43, vanilla, pineapple, aloe vera juice, and lime juice served in the cutest cactus cup. Delightful, unique, and dangerously delicious. Paloma - 10/10 Lunazul Blanco tequila, ripe paloma mix, fresh lime, and Squirt. Bright, crisp, and so refreshing -- exactly what you want after a hot day. Patacones Montados - 10/10 Smashed plantains topped with avocado salad, pico de gallo, and salsa macha. Crispy, fresh, and bursting with flavor. 100% gluten-free and a must-try. Carne Asadao - 10/10 Juicy grilled skirt steak with guacamole, caramelized onion, and cilantro. Served with fresh tortillas and completely gluten-free. Absolutely delicious. Tostada Rosa - 10/10 Roasted beets, asparagus, avocado, pickled onions, pepitas, avocado crema, and salsa macha. One of the best vegetarian and gluten-free meals I've ever had -- crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor. Gluten-Free Churros - 11/10 Yes, you read that right. House-made churro bites with three dipping sauces. They melt in your mouth and are pure perfection. After 10+ years without a churro due to celiac, my friend was in heaven. Every dish was plated beautifully, made with care, and full of fresh, vibrant flavors. The staff was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is modern yet cozy. Whether you're gluten-free or not, Emilio's is a must-visit.

Yelp
Tried Emilio's for the first time last night for Mexican Independence Day. I came across their Instagram post about their specials , so decided to check it out! We were seated right away, I thought it would be busy, but it wasn't too bad. We sat at the bar, in front of their live DJ which was nice! Loved the music he was playing. So much so, asked for his info to possibly hire for my wedding next year. The customer service was great. Everyone was attentive, & very welcoming. The drinks were good, & everything came out pretty fast. I took off a star because the food was mediocre. 6/10. Willing to go back to try other items on the menu though. Overall, it was good, && I loved the mystery card pulling to see what giveaway you won. Super cute touch to make the experience different than other restaurants. Hoping the food will be better next time :)

Yelp
The interior design is breathtaking inside this restaurant. Everything from the tables, mirrors, and structure of the walls. Even the dishes and cups were so cute and on theme. The chips and salsa were great. The salsa is not spicy so if you enjoy something hotter please ask the server if they can bring out a spicier salsa option. The ceviche was cooked well but we did ask for some salt and lemon to add some more flavor. The tacos are a decent size and surprisingly filling. I ordered a mocktail that was on the sweeter side named la Reina. I loved that it was a bright red color.

Yelp
Emilio's is a New Mexican restaurant. My favorite was the carne asada tacos and the cilantro lime rice was delicious. The mini chicken tostadas and the beef taquitos were tasty. Our party made reservations and was seated right away. The server was very helpful and informative. I appreciated that he asked if any of us had any food allergies.

Yelp
I really enjoyed Emilio's. I came for lunch and we were given the brunch/lunch menu. Instead of getting one meal each we ordered three different dishes to share and snack on. The cutest decor inside and has the perfect touch of Mexico City vibes. Complimentary chips & salsa: good! The salsa is just a touch spicy and really good. We used it on our other dishes. Famous street corn dip: the star of the show! If you like esquites/elote you will love it. The jalapeños on top were the best part. Don't skip this one. Carnitas tacos: moist carnitas and the pineapple was a nice addition. Tortillas were fresh. As for critiques the salsa could be spicier and it is a tad expensive for two tacos, it ranges from ~$4.5-$6 depending which meat you order. Patacones montados: so incredibly fresh tasting. A great light appetizer. We opted for no meat and it was still delicious. Matcha flight: if you love matcha I would definitely try the flight. The flavors are fresas con crema, mango, and horchata. The horchata was the best one and you can taste the lechera in it! I almost wanted to order an individual matcha to go but I was too full. If this place was closer to my house I would come here regularly just for a matcha to go. Abuelita's flan: good dessert and presentation. A touch drier than flan usually is, but maybe it was just an off day. Usually flan is silky and this one was a tad spongey. The fruit and sugar crumbles made it better. The service was great. Multiple people outside of our service stopped by to check on us throughout our meal as well. I believe it was the owner who walked in and he immediately greeted us and checked on us before he even sat down. A CDMX postcard was given with the check, such a cute touch. Overall: great fresh tasting food, cute ambiance, great service, even better matcha. Will return again.

Yelp
Food and service were outstanding! It was our first time here so we tried lots of things! The Street Corn Queso, we added chorizo, was served with homemade corn tortilla chips. Was SO good. For entrees we ordered the mini chicken tinga tostadas, carne asada tacos, shrimp tacos, pork flautas and a side of the cilantro-lime rice. Everything was outstanding. For our cocktails we had the Chingon and the Paloma. Both drinks were superb. Our server was also the bartender, she has an amazing personality and was fantastic. We'll definitely be back.

Yelp
We saw on Instagram that they were closing permanently so we wanted to check it out before the last day. We had high hopes considering all the good reviews on social media but we really felt it just missed the mark. Not sure if we came on a bad night but the energy was off all across the board between all staff including the owner. While yes he did check on us a couple times, we've had friendlier service elsewhere. Our server walked past us a million times and never refilled our water. We had to flag him down. He acknowledged us one time after our meal came (which took forever to come) but it took him a long time to even check on us. I understand it was a busy night but we were observing and saw another server was much more attentive with his tables. When we were seated by a different server he asked us if we wanted a drink menu which we loved that he asked instead of assuming we wanted one (we don't drink so we said no). But then our server came by a few minutes later, didn't say hi and just put the drink menus on our table. Such a minor thing but don't assume people want the drink menu. Food was ok. The chicken tinga burrito was huge which was great, but the flavor was lacking. My husband got the chicken al pastor and it was dry and so salty. His rice was so sour, and the beans were bland. The chips and salsa was good, took the server a long time to ask us if we wanted more. We did also order the patacones montados to share which was good. Decor was ok, nothing I haven't seen before. Trendy, modern, beige... I design for a living and the vibe is always the first thing I notice but I feel like nothing really stood out or was memorable. Overall, we are sad they are closing and if given more time, (and maybe if they launched one restaurant at a time, not two) they could have had the opportunity to improve.

Yelp
I was going to Main St. Provision but my friend from out of town wanted to try this new restaurant instead. She is inspired by this owner's IG story and wanted to try this food at Emilio's. Parking was a breeze on a Friday afternoon around 5pm. Upon arrival, we're greeted with a friendly staff who didn't have a problem seating us without a reservation given the place was still half full. Loved the airy and bright atmosphere. This place offers a list of unique margaritas and cocktails. They were delicious and quite strong. We ordered tacos, and a guacamole with plantain appetizer to share. The flavors were quite bland except the shrimp taco was more flavorful. There's nothing wrong with the food but they didn't stand out either. The handmade corn tortilla was on the dry side and it's quick thick. If I lived closer, I would probably go for a quick bite. But for special occasions or entertain out of town guests, this wouldn't be my top choice.

Yelp
My new favorite Mexican restaurant in SW Las Vegas. Everything is beyond gourmet not your regular Mexican restaurant. My favorites, Mini Chicken Tostadas (so flavorful w tinga), Chicken mole tacos, all their tacos are special. Ceviche Dos Mundos (it's huge), and their Classic quesadillas are so fancy and I have no idea how one person can finish them! Their staff is amazing. Rowena is a pro at every cocktail on the menu Riley, Lealani, and Lea are so patient and perfect with altering their specialty cocktails to make them "skinnies" for me! The food is what brings me here but it's the staff that makes me addicted. I eat alone most often and appreciate their happiness!

Yelp
Emilio's is a true neighborhood gem that's quickly become one of my favorite spots. They serve breakfast and their all-day menu is fantastic. We started with the elote dip with chorizo -- cheesy, creamy, and indulgent in the best way. It's the kind of dip you want to scrape the bowl clean. We also tried the flautas, carnitas tacos, and the verduras tacos -- which completely blew me away. The verduras tacos are loaded with mushrooms, cotija, roasted veggies (including these juicy, earthy beets that are to die for), avocado, and this salsa macha I would straight-up drink. The tacos are delicious on their own, but the salsa macha adds this deep, bougie richness that takes them to the next level. I didn't miss meat for a second. The carnitas tacos are light and meaty, and the flautas? Perfection -- crispy, hot, and topped with cool avocado and pico. Every bite was a win. Service is outstanding. We were constantly checked on and never short of chips for our dip. This place has serious flavor and soul. Emilio's is about to see me a lot -- I'm already planning my next visit. Pro tip: make a reservation, especially around lunch or dinner. It gets busy for a reason.
