"Emily’s Bakery, with its familiar “relax, you have plenty of time” sign above the door, just closed. A sign on the door from ownership says founders Emily Reilly, a former mayor of the city, and Robert Nahas have retired." - Paolo Bicchieri
If you need a pre made sandwich on the go or a sweet treat like a cinnamon roll or cheese Danish. This is the place to try it out they also have amazing smoothies I had the blueberry and banana 🍌 😋.

Amazing! We had a jalapeno cheddar scone (highly recommend), apple croissant, and a slice of apple cake. Everything was great, and the prices were great too!

Super tasty! Today we had savory quiche and a slice of apple cake. And the sandwiches on our previous visit were also excellent.

I'm glad I stopped for a rest. The cappuccino and the small apple walnut pie were delicious. I also enjoyed staying on patio sipping my coffee.

When I first came to the bakery all the foods looked very appealing but I did not think they would taste good so I did not get anything at my first visit. At the second visit I saw a chocolate cupcake and decided to get it. Let's start with the taste. Absolutely amazing! The frosting is creamy and the cupcake is moist and not at all hard. It is perfectly delicious. A fine first choice for anyone wanting to try Emily's Bakery! The drinks are also very good. I recommend the Blueberry Banana Smoothie. Very fine bakery!

great staff, really good muffins and blueberry banana smoothie, and its all reasonably priced. there is a lunch rush around 1130-1 during the school year and usually theres only one person working so a line may form, but overall love it. Great place to go for a quick breakfast or lunch.

I'm really not sure what the appeal is of this place. It's overpriced for one. 3.75 for a breakfast burrito that's nearly bite sized, $4.50+ for a croissant with very little filling. Just handed over cold. Maybe I just don't know the tricks to enjoying this place but $8-9 for a cold stuffed croissant and a coffee that I have to go fill myself out of an urn seems a bit steep.
But other people seem to love it for some reason so maybe I'm crazy. I wouldn't recommend it.
3* because it's not terrible. It's just average and overated.
Edit; 6 years later and that seems like a reasonable price.
