The Best Fish and Chips in Boston | Eater Boston

"Fish on Friday is a must at Emmet’s, where you’ll get a nice-sized hunk of beer-battered whitefish, deep-fried and served with fries and coleslaw. Pairs perfectly with a pint and some live music." - Tanya Edwards

Where to Drink Guinness in Boston This Holiday Season | Eater

"It’s easy to identify the point of pride at this downtown alehouse, with “Boston’s No. 1 Irish Coffee” plastered in gold above its red door. That said, this pub also pours a solid pint of stout (and mixes it into a Guinness onion soup and into the beef and Guinness pie). The compact interior, absence of flat-screen TVs, and proximity to historic Boston gems like the Granary Burying Ground make Emmets a welcome spot to duck into during winter months to warm up, whether with a pint of Guinness or that famed concoction of booze and caffeine." - Molly McDonough

Where to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Eve in Boston | Eater

"The beautiful wood-paneled bar at Emmets fits right into its location in picture-perfect Beacon Hill. The claim to fame here, as indicated in the giant painted sign above the door, is Irish coffee, made with dark roast coffee, raw sugar, and fresh cream. Emmets is a great place to fuel up for a walk on the Freedom Trail, which starts around the corner — or to kick off St. Patrick’s Eve festivities, which are likely to include traditional Irish musicians in a cozy corner by the window." - Molly McDonough

This was our first time visiting and we had a great experience. Food was DELICIOUS! The atmosphere was lively and welcoming. Seating was a little tight, as we were literally back to back with people at another table. But we didn't mind too much. The waitress and manager were kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, this Irish restaurant is a must-visit! The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. And the food? Absolutely delicious! Every bite is packed with flavor. Don’t miss out on this gem! 👏🏻

Emmet’s Irish Pub is hands down my favorite cozy pub in Boston. The atmosphere feels authentic, with dark wood interiors, friendly bartenders, and a welcoming crowd. I came for the Guinness — poured perfectly every time — and stayed for the hearty Irish fare. The fish and chips were golden, crispy, and not greasy, with flaky fish inside. I also tried the shepherd’s pie, which was comforting, rich, and packed with flavor. The portion sizes are generous without being overwhelming. What I love most is that the pub never feels overly touristy despite being in Beacon Hill. It’s a great place to unwind with friends over a pint or enjoy a quiet meal solo. The service is always attentive but never rushed. If you’re looking for a classic Irish pub experience in Boston with great drinks and food, Emmet’s should be high on your list. I’ll definitely be back!

We were in Boston for the first time and did not find Emmets until the last night of our 4 day visit. It was a Tuesday night and was packed which is usually a good sign. I am glad we made a reservation online because we were quickly seated. They seemed to be accommodating everyone who walked in relatively quickly but I could see how on a weekend the wait could possibly be more substantial. It definitely has a pub feel to it. Our server was also the same person who greeted and sat us. She was doing 10 things at once and doing a nice job of it. We ordered the Taste of Ireland for our meal because it was too hard to choose and we like all 3 dishes. It was absolutely delicious. My favorite was probably the Guinness stew but the Pot Pie was close second. My husband’s favorite was the Shepherds pie. It was also delicious. The veggies were still a little crisp and the flavor was amazing. We decided that this was hands down our favorite meal during our 4 day visit. We will definitely be back.

Google
Small pub with great food & live traditional Irish music on weekends! This place was hopping when we came in on a Saturday late afternoon, so I was glad we had reservations. It can be tough to get near the bar when it's really busy. Service was a little slow, but we didn't feel rushed, so we appreciated that. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend the reuben spring rolls & taste of Ireland!

Google
Great time at this small authentic Irish pub just off the Boston Common. Family friendly (at least for lunch!) with traditional kids menu for the little ones and great tasting traditional food for the adults. Paired with some Guiness and what’s not to love!

Google
Good pints of Guinness here. Emmets is quite popular and I’ve always been here when it’s been busy. I may have gotten some food here but not so much to write about. They also do some really good classic cocktails. I tried the Scofflaw and it really did blow my mind. If you’re heading to Emmets as a group then I’m certain that you’ll have a good time.

Google
A classic Irish pub serving good beer and authentic dishes. Got the New England clam chowder and trio pies including shepherd, chicken pot and guineas beef stew. The chowder and two of the pies were delicious, cover flaky. Alas the beef stew lacked flavor, amd there were only 2 tiny pieces and some shreded strips of meat. The waittess jad a really thick accent, not sure if real or playedup for thw atmosphere. A kitchen appreciation fee is added to the check.

Yelp
Great pub in the center of the city. They have a full bar with an experienced bartender and a good selection of craft beers on tap. Food is high quality.
google avatar

Yelp
Emmet's is a better pub in the neighborhood. Staff are friendly and warm. Drinks are well made and strong(!). Atmosphere is what you are expecting from an Irish pub, there are plenty of dark woods and nice enough furniture. Food wise, not so much to right home about. I recommend coming here for drinks and eat somewhere else. If I in Boston in future, definitely coming back for their tasty cider.

Yelp
Was at the park & wanted a late lunch close by. Stopped in here after perusing the menu and seeing that they had a few veggie options. Walked in and the ambiance was fantastic. It was packed, but there were some fiddlers in the front playing Irish music the whole time which really added to the experience. I ended up getting the veggie burger & it was very mediocre. It came with fries & was very filling, but nothing special. If I came back here, I'd maybe try the burrata salad instead. My friend got the ham & cheese toastie which came with tomato soup. She had the same opinion as myself- not bad but definitely nothing special. Very affordable drinks and music is probably what draws people in. Nice staff, very busy.

Yelp
After our walking tour in Boston we decided to forgo our picnic lunch and do lunch at a restaurant during hours that may be easier to get a seat. Emmet's was absolutely delicious and we loved the old pub feel! We definitely recommend!

Yelp
Cozy Irish pub with Irish pictures all over the walls, custom Guinness still, fire fighter patches and comfy chairs, best of all Irish music playing. I have Irish roots and their Irish stew was incredible! Flavorful, rich, hearty, comfort food with delicious chunks of beef and vegetables. Served hot with crusty bread. Pairs great with a Black & Tan. Also ordered the Chicken Caesar wrap, which was good. Service was quick.

Yelp
The food was delicious!!!! Loud and busy, but adds to the vibes/atmosphere-fun! Service was great! All the team members worked together to serve and bus the tables. We're from out of town, but I would love to bring the Clam Chowder soup home with me!

Yelp
Classic Irish pub with an old school feel. Can get kind of crowded inside but that shows how popular it is. Plenty of great beer on tap. TVs around the place to catch any Boston or Irish based game. Saw a sweet picture of Roy Keane in the stairwell towards the bathroom.
google avatar

Mark R.

Yelp
So glad we stopped here for a pint. This place is what I visualize when I think "near perfection in an Irish Pub."
google avatar

Nik H.

Yelp
A great Irish Pub. Six of us showed up for lunch on a busy Saturday. The ambiance was great with Celtic ballads playing in the background and lots of local color. Service was great despite it being busy. The servers did their best to quickly get you food and drink with a smile. The food was great. We got the nachos to share followed by salads with salmon or Sirloin tips, fish and chips, and burgers. Everything tasted great and the portion size was perfect. They also poured a hell of a pint of Guinness and had a good selection of whiskeys to go with it. Give it a try next time you're in the area

Yelp
I'm glad we stumbled upon this popular Irish bar called Emmets. Every Friday, they've got live music which truly enhances the already- lively atmosphere into a party. Our table wait did not take long, but once seated by their prompt service we were ready to order. For starters, their fried pickles were delicious along with the French onion soup, which oozed cheese! Mains; wife had their traditional fish and chips, and I had their fish sandwich (Emmets Fish Combo). Portions, oh boy they do serve large portions here. For drinks I settled on Tuly whisky and tried their Irish cream.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is great! My ham sandwich was very good! My husband got the clam chowder with fish sandwich. He stated it was good. The clam chowder needed for salt for my liking so I added more. My daughter had butter noodles and she likes it. The Irish coffee taste good & my husband got a old fashion. The bathrooms were clean and stocked. The waitress was attentive and nice. We would come here again.

Yelp
Great pub, and apparently the "No. 1 Irish Coffee in Boston" I spotted the sign on the walk back to our hotel, and bf suggested we go in and verify their claim! We ended up going three nights in a row for the Irish coffee, which at that point became a small ritual for us. The Irish coffees are good, but perhaps not number one... we enjoyed the lively atmosphere and sat at the bar each night. One of the nights we were able to watch a Kraken game on one of their TVs. We also tried a hot toddy, which had a TON of honey, so we asked for less and it was much better, imo. Overall seems like a popular spot, and will be back to try other menu items outside of just the Irish coffee.

Yelp
Looking for a great meal? Seeking the vibe of a cool Irish pub? Emmet's will fit the bill! Their beef stew was probably the best I've had in some time. With a side of bread it was chef's kiss. I also had a seasonal fall martini. That wasn't quite too my taste but it wasn't bad. Friendly service and a great atmosphere, I recommend stopping by!

Yelp
I was so excited to go to Emmet's pub when I was in Boston because I am an actual descendant of Robert Emmet. The hostess seemed non plussed when I told her I was a descendant of the man whose portrait is hanging outside the pub. We went with my whole family. In spite of the fact that I had made a reservation, they seated us in the back at a make shift table. We ordered, and the food took a while to come, and they forgot my son's meal and an appetizer we had ordered for the table. My son's meal came a while later, and the appetizer never came. The check took forever to come - and since we were eating at 1pm on a weekday it wasn't that crowded. I was disappointed. The food was very good, but the service was horrible.

Yelp
Conveniently located near the capital, we stopped in after our tour for a quick bite and beer. The service was speedy, friendly and right on time. Our food was hot, delicious and filling. We sat at the table facing the windows and enjoyed people watching. It was a great pub. The music overhead was proper for the location. Loved our visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Busy, lovely, great music. This place has a lot of history. We didn't have the food but the drinks were great!
google avatar

Gregg M.

Yelp
Great old Irish pub just down from the state house. Service was super and historic feeling with heavy wooden bar and walls with traditional ambiance. We had the onion soup, chowder, fish and chips, all of which were delicious. Definitely a repeater for us!
google avatar

Caryn B.

Yelp
Cute bar. Friendly employees. They make a great Irish coffee. Centrally located and easy to walk here from all sight seeing stops.
google avatar

Jazmin T.

Yelp
Couldn't decide between their burger and fish and chips, and at the bartenders recommendation got the burger, and it did not disappoint! Perfectly cooked and seasoned! The fries were delicious! The place is your typical Irish pub, you feel like you should be there if you're looking for a good brew and whiskey! Love the decor of the place and lots of tv to catch up on sports.
google avatar

Sunny C.

Yelp
FIVE STARS for actually having some seating during the NBA finals (Celtics vs Heat) last night. We walked all the way from the far west of West End and checked pretty much every sports bar and they. were. all. packed. Lines out the door, an absolute disaster! But we we kept walking east toward downtown and finally landed at this bar where they actually had a couple of seats around the TV . The service wasn't the best, the waitress looked unhappy or something ... (we only ordered the sweet potato fries and beer)... but anyhow... a win is a win. We were there for the second half of the game. I'm not really a sports person by any measure but it was a fun experience :) :) :)

Yelp
Best pub around! Great vibe, Guinness (of course,) MUSIC, and bartenders. Next time I'll try the food!

Yelp
The Hop on/hop bus driver tipped me off about Emmets. Said to tell the man behind the bar "Matty sent you". Tried that, but there were only ladies back there, so all it got me was a menu. Sat at the bar in the back area to be secluded. Loved the dark wooden interior with mirrors and historic touches. It was cold and drizzly outside, so I went with an Irish coffee and chowder. Added some sweet potato fries, because they are my current addiction. I was not disappointed. It was clear my peaceful isolation had ended, and happy hour had begun, when the entire bar filled up with groups chatting about work stuff. Lucky me, the insurance guy and his two coworkers next to me had some great tips to follow up on next. Friendly people here, good food, great service!

Yelp
feels authentic in a non-pretentious way. Shepherd's pie was rich and deeply flavorful -- HUGE portion, by the way. Irish coffee was just as nuanced - definitely the choice of the locals, and I concur! (I did not prefer the bloody Mary just because I don't like horse radish). my daughter also enjoyed the farmhouse omelet with its Irish bacon & especially the sausage. the service was friendly, prompt, and helpful (with a subtle Irish accent that's very endearing).
google avatar

Leo Z.

Yelp
I came here for lunch while I was visiting Boston because it recommended by one of our tour bus drivers. The staff was friendly and the service was good. The place is a typical Irish pub with good decor and lots of drink options but not as many food options. They have your usual Irish options like shepherd's pie, beef stew and fish n chips. I got the fish n chips and Irish coffee which were both great.

Yelp
Great local and famous Irish pub we found in Boston and the food was great. We also enjoyed the music played there. Also our server was very pleasant. More importantly a great beer menu!
google avatar

Kait V.

Yelp
The ambiance is amazing. The food is also great. My friend and I enjoyed Magners while listening to live music. The staff was very friendly and we even saw some girls Irish step dancing. My friend got the French onion soup and it looked yummy. I enjoyed some fries as a vegan but was very happy with quality of food and great place to just enjoy company. One of our favorites in Boston.

Yelp
Came here on a cold Monday night for late dinner and a hearty meal seems like just the thing to warm us up. It was also recommended to us by a local to try at least one Irish spot in Boston since there are so many. Emmet's has a cozy family restaurant vibe. For an appetizer, we got curry fries. The curry was not thick in consistency but held onto the fries pretty well. I liked the flavor. The fries were thick and flaky, pretty much perfect. We got a Tase of Ireland sampler with beef and Guinness stew, chicken pot pie, and shepherds pie. We also got the pan fried cod. The complementary table bread was so good! It was warm and felt fresh and soft. For the sampler, it was enough to feed the four of us in addition to the other stuff we ordered. All the foods were dense and I'm glad that there was an option offered that lets you try a bit of everything. I really liked that the chicken pot pie had a crust on top that was separate so you can dip it into the sauce; it had the texture of a croissant. The chicken pot pie could have been more seasoned. For the beef and Guinness stew, it was my first time having that dish and the beer flavor was subtle. It was hearty. For the shepherds pie, it was another hearty dish that was my favorite out of the three of them in terms of flavor. We dipped some of our table bread into it. My family was a big fan of the pan fried cod, which came with mashed potatoes. It was seasoned well and felt very clean, likely the latest thing out of the stuff we ordered. I was a disappointed by the Guinness. It felt watered down here--transparent and did not hit the spot. at first I thought it was the problem specific to hear, but we tried a bar shortly after which had the same water down Guinness consistency. Unsure if we're ordering something wrong in Boston?
google avatar

Caroline J.

Yelp
Food was amazing! We had the onion soup and fish & chips. The service was ok. There was live music at one point which was nice! It is definitely more a pub atmosphere than restaurant. It was very loud and hard to have a conversation.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
I don't think I would do this place again, but maybe I just got the wrong dish. Had the Reuben sandwich with some fries. The bread was so over toasted it was almost burnt. The corned beef was thicker cut than I would have liked, and it was fatty and chewy in places. Not much sauce, and just not a lot of flavor. Service was forgettable. A little slow and inattentive. I was in a hurry so asked for my check when the food was dropped. Seemed like I really put her out. Not a thank you or anything - just literally dropped the check onto the table.
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
This was one of our favorite meals while spending the week in Boston. Loved that our waitress had an accent that made it feel more authentic, as silly as that sounds. The shepherds pie was very yummy. The pot pie was delightfully delish. Stew was good.
google avatar

Kevin W.

Yelp
Came here because a friend wanted to try the beef stew. Walked in and they had a live band playing too! Started off with the house beer, was a little lighter than most red ales. Got the taste of Ireland to try the stew, shepherds pie, and also the chicken pot pie. It was such a great option to get a taste of each. My favorite was the chicken pot pie. There was just a nice onion taste in the soup that really brought out the flavor. Shepherds pie was my second favorite, good combination of a light mashed potato and a salty soup? stew? Next time I go, I would definitely get the chicken pot pie but dont regret getting the taste of Ireland to get a full taste of the different specialty entrees!

Yelp
Amazing!!! The best restaurant we went to in Boston!!! Guinness Beef Stew Shepherd's Pie Chicken Pot Pie The best things to order!!!
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
Love the atmosphere and great live music at this place. They have Irish session music on Saturday nights which is so fun. I'd go back every weekend for it. I love love the chicken pot pie - so comforting and delicious. The shepherds pie is also great. This is definitely my favorite Irish bar in Boston.

Yelp
Fun classic roller rink! Love that my kids can have the experience of eating nachos while on skates and taking some laps, -skating against a carpeted Dj booth

Yelp
We ordered the sampler trio, clam chowder and the Guinness beef stew. All the dishes tasted really really good. The service was great. I would definitely go back again.

Yelp
My husband and I are visiting Boston for the first time this week for our anniversary. Per our tradition, we always have dinner in an Irish pub on the night of our anniversary, as we held our wedding reception in one. After doing a little research, we settled in Emmet's as the spot, and we were not disappointed. The pub was very busy when we arrived. It's a small, intimate space, so it seems to fill up fast. However, the hostess was very nice and able to get us seated quickly. The bartender was also very attentive and got us drinks while we waited for our table. Despite being busy, the service was still solid. I had the Rachel panini and a cup of the Guinness onion soup. The sandwich was very good but the soup was absolutely stellar. In fact, I enjoyed the soup so much I highly considered going back to get it for lunch today. The French fries were also the right amount of crispy. My husband had the Reuben and a cup of clam chowder. He enjoyed the sandwich, especially the fact that it was well proportioned (i.e. the right amounts of sauerkraut to dressing to beef). Again, the soup was the standout! We wrapped up with the salted caramel gelato with marshmallows and an Irish coffee. The gelato was one of the best desserts I've ever had, and it was a large portion. One is the perfect amount for two people (at least it was for us). The Irish coffee also lived up to the hype. It was smooth and tasty. I've been to many pubs where they're too heavy on the whiskey. This was just right. Last but not least, the pub has great atmosphere. Having been to pubs across Ireland, I can confirm this is an authentic experience. It's cozy and intimate but lively and fun. They also play nice Irish music to help set the scene.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place. At the end of August my now husband and decided to do a fun engagement shoot while just going around Boston with our friends while drinking and eating around the city. It was a blast. We happened upon Emmets and loved the atmosphere. It was between lunch and dinner on a Sunday, so the place had a good vibe of relaxing and fun. We mainly came in for drinks and a snack, and I was craving French Fries. I always say go to an Irish pub for good fries because they always make them right. Us Irish folk don't mess around with our potatoes. We ordered so cocktails and beers, a side of fries and took to watching some soccer. It was pretty interesting because some of the staff had Irish accents and the table next to us were clearly Irish and there to watch the game. The cocktails from the menu were shockingly great! I usually don't go for the cocktails off the menu because they aren't my type, but these were whiskey based and a great drink. Now the French fries, ever since we went, we have been talking about these fries. We kept getting more and more. They were so perfect in every way. If I wasn't eating the entire day I would've loved to try move food off the menu, obvious choice being the fish and chips, but damn. I would seriously go back for those fries and drinks.
google avatar

Yelp
Irish Bar: Walked in here already full from a place I wish I skipped. There was about a 30-40 min wait for two. I ended up going to the bar and scoping the scene. Found some seats five minutes later. Service is wonderful and I was actually greeted when I walked in. I'm looking around at all of the food that everybody is ordering and I am so upset that I am not hungry. The menu is amazing though!
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
loved my visit! i have been meaning to come to this pub for the past couple of months and so glad i came! made a reservation but probably could have gone without one on weekday! the onion soup was to die for, probably helped that it was 20* out and i was in need of a warm soup! my two drinks were delish, not too strong! the taste of ireland was very filling, so much so that i was able to bring some home for leftovers. only critique i would give is that the app and the entree came out way too close together! i would like to be able to sit and enjoy my meal/cocktail/book before being brought my next course
google avatar

Pete L.

Yelp
Always excellent food. (The fish and chips is a large helpin'.) Live trad music most of the weekend. A fine pour of Guinness. And one of the best staffs in Boston.

Yelp
Had an excellent dinner here while visiting Boston. After visiting Ireland, this is a very authentic pub and atmosphere was wonderful. Prices for the amount of food was amazing, so glad we found this restaurant.

Fat Man Reviews K.

Yelp
While looking for an Irish pub, Fat Man Reviews found its way to Emmets Irish Pub & Restaurant. Emmets is a classic Irish alehouse supplying pints of Guinness, other draft beers, traditional pub fare & wine. We started with some Pigs in a blanket. These were made with Irish sausage and black pudding wrapped in pastry served with whole grain dijonnaise. The pastry was crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside but still a little doughy. The sausage is cooked and seasoned well, but slightly greasy. The dijonnaise is creamy but could use just a touch more Dijon. My fiance ordered the Grilled Reuben and fries. The corned beef is tender, seasoned and cooked perfectly. It was almost falling apart but still had a chew. The sauerkraut is crunchy and has a nice vinegar bite, and the cheese is melted well. The rye is really nice and soft but could use a bit more Russian dressing. The fries are thick British style and salted correctly but could use a little more time in the fryer. I ordered the Taste of Ireland. This is a combo that comes with Beef & Guinness pie(beef and Guinness in a flaky pastry crust), Chicken Pot Pie(mushrooms, peas, onions, carrots & pastry crust), Shepherd's Pie(ground beef, peas, onions, gravy and mashed potatoes) (B&G) The beef is tender but a little dry. The vegetables are all cooked well. The broth is pretty sweet and needs a spice or two. This did not have a crusty pastry over the dish but it was served with crusty bread. (CPP) The pastry was crispy and flaky, the sauce was creamy but it was very very sweet and a little watery. The chicken is cooked well but a little light on the seasoning. It is very pea heavy. The vegetables are cooked well. (DP) The meat is seasoned well but the gravy is again pretty sweet. The vegetables are cooked well and still have a little crunch. The potatoes are really well seasoned but a little milly in texture. A good heartiness to the dish but like all of the other dishes the heavy sweetness just took away from the meal to me. Emmets has several starters, soups, salads, sandwiches and mains to sample. The Fat Man says that Emmets Irish Pub & Restaurant is NOT Fat Man Approved.

Yelp
Though we have heard of "Emmet's Pub" over our years living in Boston, it finally struck us during our latest visit that we'd never actually paid them a visit - and given how much we love a classic Pub here at Wicked Local Husbands, we thought it was high time we remedy that!!! On a cold Wednesday night (12/21), we finally made our way in - and from the get go it was everything we wanted it to be! Great music, great crowd, and great décor really allow for an 'immersive' experience - if that makes sense! Grabbing a seat at a bar (which considering how busy they were on a Wednesday, we consider a major win for us!) we started with some rounds of beer! As we don't try to comment to much in favorites or bests on WLH - one aspect of "Emmet's" that we have to say is objectively amazing one of the best in Boston is their bar staff!!! We have never seen people work so hard, fast, and efficient as the women behind the bar here! It was amazing to watch - and proves that this bar really cares about their customers - even when the place is so busy!! We were having such an awesome time with some pints of Fiddlehead IPA and Guinness that even some of a photos turned out blurry However, before we left we had to try their 'Famous Irish Coffee!' 'BOSTON'S BEST' IRISH COFFEE - Tullamore DEW, Dark Roast Coffee, Raw Sugar, & Fresh Cream! Though we have not tried enough of Boston's Irish Coffees to say if this was definitively *our* best - but it was dang good! The raw sugar that gives a nice kick! Definitely come here and check it out for yourselves!!! Have you been to "Emmet's Pub"? Did you try their Irish Coffee? What did you think?

Yelp
Fantastic Celtic music on a Saturday afternoon! Magnets and a turkey burger! I'll be back!

Yelp
We came here as a 2nd choose as our first place was closed. There was no wait and it gave off very Irish pub vibes. It was quite loud, a bit hard to hear with Irish music playing over speakers. Service was eh. Our waitress never relieved water or soda cups. But food came out relatively fast and overall was very good. Pub quality but tasty. Would come back.

Samantha D.

Yelp
I came here for a late lunch on a Friday. It was not very busy. The atmosphere comfortable and there is Irish music playing. They have live music on weekends. The clam chowder was very good, stocked with clams and tasty. The cup was more than enough. I plan on returning for the chicken pot pie because it looks so good. Service was good also.

Yelp
Fun place The food is hot and authentic Irish fare. We had pigs in blanket, Guinness stew, pastrami sandwich and brews. Marie and Tracey were great servers. Make a reservation bc it's busy on a Friday night. So young and thanks for great service !

Corin B.

Yelp
I've always frequented Emmet's because I work nearby, whether it's dining in, drinks after work or takeout. Food is pretty good and the service is great depending on the the day of the week you visit. BUT, BUT, today I ordered takeout and I was not impressed. Got two cheeseburgers, that come with fries. Where the hell were my fries? Additionally, I ordered barbecue sauce, not there. What the hell Emmet's? You never did me wrong before! Look at the pictures for proof!

Yelp
Great atmosphere (live music on the weekends!), great drinks, and great food! The place was packed but we had a reservation and were able to grab a table. I highly recommend getting the Shepard's pie!

Yelp
Service was friendly & fast. My hubby ordered a curry dish while I ordered a wrap. Table seating was extremely tight, at least in the area they sat us in.
