"Newcomer Emmy Squared, known for its Detroit-style pizzas, also offers an award-winning burger. The Le Big Matt served on a pretzel bun with American cheese, special Sammy sauce, greens, and pickles, ranks among the city’s top burgers." - Jesse Scott

"Emmy Squared, a casual Detroit-style pizzeria by way of Brooklyn, has opened its first Florida location in Fort Lauderdale. The new outpost debuted late last month, bringing its unique Detroit-style pizza and popular burgers to the Sunshine State. Emmy Squared has made a name for itself for its unique approach to the Detroit pizza. Its focaccia dough undergoes a 48-hour proofing process, diverging from traditional Detroit-style pizza, which uses brick cheese, in favor of a mozzarella and ricotta blend. Another standout feature is its “Roni cup” or “cup and char” pepperoni. These smaller, thicker pepperoni slices curl into a bowl shape as they cook, creating a crisp, blackened edge with a greasy center. This style, a longtime favorite in Buffalo and parts of the Midwest has become a signature element at Emmy Squared." - Olee Fowler

I’ve been here a few times and the service is always great! Mariana, spencer and Diego are the best! They kept checking on my table and were pretty quick with everything. The ambiance is pretty chill especially at night when they dim the lights. The music they play is really good. Now when it comes to the food AMAZING! If you like a deep dish type pizza this is the place for you! Their le big mat burger is super good! Out of all the burgers that one is my fave. The Zia fries, mozzarella sticks, meatballs, and cheesy garlic sticks are to die for. I hear a lot of their items are imported from New York! My fave placeee! Their wings are really good too and not rubbery at all. They just recently added pasta to their menu and I will surely be back to try. They have a small bar but great drinks! As for dessert their brownie with ice cream is my favorite!

Google
Pizza was delish. Hubby had the wings, said they were good also. Wish the pizza came out piping hot. It was warm not overly hot. Play list was awesome. I danced in my seat the whole time.

We wanted to eat here tonight, but the tables were filthy and outside tables not set up …. We ate here when they first opened and really enjoyed the pizza… unfortunately tonight we couldn’t stomach to sit at dirty tables. Sadly I don’t expect Emmy will make it through summer.

First time here, wish we’d been here before, and can’t wait to come back! The Caesar salad was absolutely fantastic, especially if you like anchovies and anchovy flavor. At first we were worried that the pizza might be too bready, but it was actually delicious and perfectly crusty. As great as the food was (thanks Chef Rodney!), our server Susy made the experience really terrific and memorable!

Google
Attentive, friendly service and delicious food. We had the caesar salad - it seemed like the dressing was mixed with crouton crumbles and cheese vs dressing the lettuce and we really enjoyed it. We had the classic pizza for the kids and the Miranda for us. We also tried the mozzarella sticks and brownie a la mode for dessert. All around good food!

Trisha Blevins

Google
We are from Detroit and this pizza made us feel like we're back in Michigan!!! You must have the cheesy garlic sticks as well! Can't say enough about the food quality and taste! Susy was our server, she was excellent and was totally right when she said the pizza would not disappoint! Thank you Susy and Emmy Squared for a great time!

Google
This pizza is absolutely amazing. It’s right by my apartment and it’s my favorite pizza place. My favorite pizza is the Colony because I love a pepperoni. I also always get the Zia Fries they are waffle fries with a bunch of toppings on it. Pictured here is the colony with no jalapeños (I prefer it with jalapeños) and the birria pizza the Birria was ehh but the Colony is always amazing

Google
We are NYC transplants and have always loved Emmy Squared. Slowly but surely something is off. Tonight we ordered two pizzas and a Caesar salad. We opened the taped box and were quite taken aback that this is the Caesar salad for 2-3 people. Something is clearly wrong these days….

Yelp
Got the wings and Miranda pizza. The wings were crispy and with just enough of the sweet and spicy touch. The pizza was really good. Definitely going back for more.

Yelp
A very pleasant please. I stopped in for a solo lunch. Bright room with Pleasant greens My Nashville chicken sandwich was wonderful Service really attended.

Yelp
We went as a big group but we had made reservations. They still forgot one of our orders. The server was doing the best they could but I think there was only one server for our big group. The food was okay. Nothing really stood out to me. It's just a pizza place.

Yelp
We came to meet friends for an early dinner here. The relatively new restaurant has only been open for about six months. It's part of a small chain -- Nashville, Atlanta, New York, et al -- that features Detroit pizzas and burgers. They have some outdoor seating, but we chose to sit inside. At the early hour we came, we had our choice of seats. Our server, Rico, was very good and patient with all our questions. My husband and I started off by sharing a Caesar salad. It was very good. A tasty dressing and yes, anchovies (which we like). After that, we shared the Angel pizza. This square shaped Detroit style pizza was nicely crisped on all the edges. The regular (small) sized one comes cut into six pieces. After the salad, we actually took one piece home (great breakfast the next day!). The Angel is a white pizza with ricotta topped with fresh mushrooms and a mushroom "cream". And I liked the pizza, as well. Realizing that I'm a New Haven apizza gal, that says a lot since thin and crispy are my usual favorites. Our friends each ordered their own pizzas -- each with different toppings. I couldn't believe he ordered pickles!! I'm not that adventurous. We didn't do the dessert brownie -- although it sounded interesting. Right now, that's the only dessert they offer. Just a note on the decor. If you look around, the walls have little dinosaur statues on them. And there are some other dinosaur pictures and chinaware. Your kids would have fun finding them all. I asked Rico about it, and he said they were just for decoration, but that the owner just really likes dinosaurs! Too cute... And yes, we'd like to return. Their burgers are served on pretzel buns and the reviews sound intriguing. Plus, that brownie might call my name sometime...

Yelp
I found out about this spot at the Visit Lauderdale food and wine festival. I got to try the pizza there, so on this trip I wanted to try their famous burger. It was very quiet on a Saturday night. We got a nice table outside, the inside was really nice too, but it was very quiet. They have a decent menu of pizzas and sandwiches, some beer and wine, and mocktails. Service was good, and everything came out quick and hot. Our server warned us that the sandwich portions were really big and told us we shouldn't finish them, which was interesting to hear, no one has ever told me not to finish my meal because it was too big. I finished it regardless. It was actually a good size, and I was hungry. The burger was very good. I can see what the hype is about. The chicken parm sandwich was pretty tasty, too. We opted to get it with vodka sauce instead. We also got a side of fries, which was a reasonable portion size. Nothing was too big, and if you're hungry, you can definitely finish. I think the prices were average, typical of what you'd find going out to dinner these days. The sandwiches ranged from about $15-$20. The pizzas were about the same. I'd definitely go back to try more pizza. They had some interesting flavor concoctions. I hope this place does well, with a very nice ambiance and tasty food options.

Yelp
After being recommended by a co-worker, I decided to give Emmy Square Pizza a try since it's across the street from my house. The restaurant decor and ambience is very nice and gives the space a nice atmosphere. With that said I was not super impressed by it. I have seen in another review someone saying that the waitress was emotionless and I laughed but now I get exactly what that person meant lol, even though she provided a decent service. I ordered a diet coke but didn't like the fact that they only sell it in small glass coke bottles and each one is $3. I think it should be either listed in the menu or informed by the waitress. To start we ordered the Cheesy Garlic Sticks, which comes with 6 breadsticks with a parsley pesto and a spicy tomato sauce. It was pretty delicious and the sauce is not spicy at all. We then ordered the regular Roni Supreme Pizza, which gives you 6 slices of a deep dish pizza style. This is a red sauce pizza with mozzarella, pepperoni and calabrian chili. Even though the menu lists the Calabrian chili, it does not state the pizza is spicy. So beware of it because it's extremely spicy and I have a pretty good tolerance for spicy food. I thought the spiciness of the pizza just made all the other ingredients tasteless.

Brittany T.

Yelp
Giving it a 4, but it's a 4.5! Our first time visiting and we were so impressed with the decor and the layout. We also liked they offered dining al fresco. We've seen a few places come and go at this real estate, so we hope they stay! We ordered the wings as an appetizer and shared the regular pepperoni pizza. Everything came out at once as there was some miscommunication with the kitchen staff, but no big deal. The food was great! I loved how the wings weren't breaded and good amount of meat on them. The pizza was delicious! Service was fast and friendly. We saw that their burgers won awards, so we'll definitely be back to give those a try...and order more pizza! Maybe a full liquor bar is in the future! Best of luck, Emmy Squared! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Yelp
Ok I'm from up North. It's IMPOSSIBLE to find Sicilian pizza or ANY pizza worth anything I. Florida. BUT. This. Is. IT. Talk about delicious! I teach English for a living and have no words. If you want REAL pizza, you gotta order from Emmy's.

Karen N.

Yelp
We came here for date night with another couple. I'm asking the community for a big favor. I love olives on a pizza. I prefer the green ones. They aren't listed as part of the toppings. The waiter said if enough people request them, the owner will add them to the menu. So, please my Yelp warriors...even if you don't like them, help a fellow Yelper out. Our server was amazing. The music was a bit loud and he kindly turned it down. The pizza is great and the 6 slice is small enough to order multiple choices. The on- line menu does not show they offer cocktails. Don't be deterred. They do. We totally forgot about the brownie that our super waiter gushed over. Guess we need a redo. Not only for the brownie and drink, but to come back for a fully loaded olive pizza.

Angie R.

Yelp
Oh my gosh! I always get excited when Fort Lauderdale gets a cute new spot that also offers vegan stuff it's a super cute place! Their crust is "thick" but not obnoxious. And just the right amount of crunch. They offer two sizes. I got the regular for a personal, and had two slices left over. Grateful for their vegan crust and vegan cheese option. And I built my own and selected my own toppings. I paired it with the Caramel Road Chardonnay, it was great! Service, our server was great! Kitchen was a little slow, given there was only two tables at the time. But, overall great experience!

Yelp
I give my first experience at Emmy squared 3.5 stars. Open restaurant with plenty of inside and outside seating. Located in the same plaza as fresh market. Service was good. We had the Le big Matt and the angel pizza. We both enjoyed the big Matt, it was a good size, flavorful and was cooked medium rare. The pizza was the perfect crisp but we tasted no truffle flavor whatsoever, it tasted like a mushroom and ricotta pizza. The drink selection was eh, the wine was ridiculously over priced for what they were offering. As of now they have no drink or food specials throughout the week, I think they'd get a better crowd if they had some sort of happy hour due to its good location. It was a pretty quiet night when we went for dinner but we'd definitely be back to try other flavor pizzas as the style and crisp was very good!

Ian S.

Yelp
Finally made it and I'm so glad we did. Several of my coworkers have been and loved the food. The atmosphere is really good and the restaurant is looks great inside. We started with the red sangrias and had their cheese bread. The sangrias were very tasty little too much ice in the glass, but definitely had great flavor. The cheese bread with the tomato sauce is ridiculously good. So much flavor so much cheese, great crust. It's just really really good an item . For dinner we got their burger, and a pepperoni pizza. The burger was flavorful. The bun was so soft and their special sauce they put on it just makes it that much better. It was absolutely amazing, worth every penny, and we loved every bite. The pizza was excellent. The crust which is deep dish style was airy and had a phenomenal flavor. The sauce is not acidic and the pepperoni and cheese had a nice crust. Definitely going back to the spot . The only reason I gave them four stars, and not five is because our server, although attentive, had no expression and was emotionless. She was just there because she had to be and gave no emotion .

Jeffrey F.

Yelp
I love Detroit style pizza. I really really wanted to love this place but I thought it was just OK. It didn't have the crispy caramelized crust. I was looking for nor the deep flavor profile in the crust. I wanted it was decent pizza but at this price, it should be better For Detroit style pizza Jets, blue steel Pizza, or death by Pizza are all better. Maybe they can improve their ingredients. With so many options in the area I probably will not try it again, but maybe I had it on a bad day.

Sarah G.

Yelp
Great new spot in Fort Lauderdale. I'm from Detroit so I do feel pretty qualified to comment on the pizza and it was tasty. The server was super knowledgeable about the menu and explained it all very thoroughly. He let us know the salad was anchovy heavy which I love so it wasn't a problem but appreciated the heads up. We ended up going with a VIP pizza and it was so tasty. My only complaint as a Detroiter was that the sauce seemed to be sliding off the pizza and it could use more cheese to hold it in. Sauce seemed homemade though so it was very tasty. Highly recommend as a lunch spot or a casual dinner!

Carlos M.

Yelp
They were so close to a perfect 5. The place itself is so nice. I love the location and the vibe inside. The service we received was pretty good. The young lady was very friendly but I think she might have been a bit overwhelmed. She provided pretty decent recommendations. We tried - Cheesy garlic sticks - Six large cheesy garlic breadsticks with parsley pesto, spicy tomato dipping sauce. These were really good. They were drenched in olive oil, which I dont' mind. Ours were a tad bit overdone but still good and tasty. Would have been perfect if they had just a bit more cheese and perhaps a bit less oil. 4/5 ($11) Le big Matt burger- 1/2 lb double-stack grass fed beef, american cheese, sammy sauce, greens & pickles. This was excellent. Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had in my entire life, if not the best. It was cooked to perfection. The meat had a nice char on the outside and was perfectly cooked medium on the inside. The sauce was so tasty. My only gripe is it doesn't come with a side but I'll overlook that since it was so good. 5/5 ($17) Roni supreme pizza - Red sauce, mozzarella, pepperoni, calabrian chili. This is where things went downhill for us and the only reason I'm knocking a star. This pizza had potential but the final result was not good. It was way overcooked. It lacked cheese. It lacked pepperoni. It was overwhelmingly drenched in the Calabrian chili. We each had one slice which felt like a chore to eat. I usually don't do this but I sent the rest back and the manager thankfully comped it. 1/5 ($24) I also tried some of their sangria which I wasn't crazy about and it felt overpriced. That burger is still calling my name but I'd make more of an effort to return had the pizza been equally as good. Perhaps it was an off day? Either way they have other items on the menu that seem really good. Overall, I would definitely recommend anyone to come here and try that amazing burger... but based on my experience, skip out on the pizza.

Brooke E.

Yelp
This was just okay for me! My friend and I ordered the lunch special, which is 2 slices of pizza (and a side salad). We were told it was "premade" and that we could not even pay extra to add toppings. The pizza was dry and reminded me of eating focaccia from a bakery. I'm not sure if that was a symptom of ordering the premade lunch special or not. I asked if I could order the brussels sprouts salad without onions and was told that is premade as well, so the onion could not be removed. On a brighter note, there's a great aesthetic, very friendly service, and a convenient location!

Andrew D.

Yelp
This sandwich was so burnt and disgusting I had to make a yelp account. Completely unacceptable. Stay away from this place and especially this sandwich. The chicken park wasn't better at all.

Vicki S.

Yelp
They had been open less than a week when I visited so I was expecting some "new restaurant working out the details" stuff but nope, not a one. Perfect service, and great wait staff. Food was all delicious and pretty fast too. We started with a cheesy garlic sticks and the baked ricotta dip. Both were delicious but the stars were the pizzas - we got the birria and the colony. Both were excellent. We got the Colony (for 2 people) in a large and there was enough for leftovers the next day. We loved the atmosphere, the place is lovely. And the prices were good. We will be back soon. Pro tip: there is a parking garage, entry from the side street. Five stars!

Alexa R.

Yelp
I've dined at Emmy Squared in NYC a few times and absolutely loved it. So I was elated to find that they were opening a location just a few minutes from home in Fort Lauderdale! The pizza is Detroit style, so basically a rectangular pan pizza. There are so many different pizzas to choose from but you also have the option to customize your own. I went with the Ronni supreme & added honey. The dough was light, fluffy and crisp in all the right places. My absolute favorite dish are the cheesy garlic sticks. Do not skip these!!! The staff were so kind and gave us so many suggestions. They were very patient while we perused the menu. I haven't tried at this location but I know Emmy squared is known for their burger and chicken sandwich, so I will definitely be back to try. Whether you're a pizza enthusiast or a casual diner, this spot promises a delightful journey through Detroit-style goodness.

Rick C.

Yelp
First visit here. Ordered online and was ready within minutes. I had the Le Big Matt burger. The pretzel bun was soft and held the burger nicely. The perfectly cooked burger and the combination of the sauce , pickles , cheese made it an A+sandwich.

Anthony L.

Yelp
Went to Emmy on Sunday afternoon place was empty but did have a nice atmosphere. We were greeted when we entered and sat wherever we wanted. We stared with the mozzarella sticks they were breaded perfectly and came with marinara dipping sauce they were very good. We then had a half pepperoni half cheese pizza the pizza was very good only issue was they could have put a little more pepperoni on the one side . Emmy is definitely a place I would go back to try different menu items .

Alex K.

Yelp
Very good grandma style pizza! I would recommend dining in instead of take out because the crunch of the crust right out of the oven is the best part. The waitress was very helpful and educated on the menu. She gave helpful tips for each order. The chicken wing appetizer was fantastic and not your average wings. There's a ton of inside seating as well as some outside. I will be back to try their brunch menu :)

Sunshinethu ..

Yelp
We had a night in Fort Lauderdale before our flight home and had to order dinner. The square pizza was good. It would have probably been great if we ate at the restaurant, but it had cooled down by the time it got to us via delivery. The pepperoni honey jalapeño is a must. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll give this place one more shot inside the pizzeria.

Miriam R.

Yelp
We have ordered take out twice and have not been disappointed. We ordered a basic Margherita pizza and the presentation was beautiful. The staff has been attentive. We enjoyed watching the crew in the kitchen - no drama! A shout out to Talia - She is helpful and very pleasant. We look forward to sit down experience...soon.

Cat N.

Yelp
my friends and i had seen the exterior one night when we were across the street. we checked the menu and saw they had mocktail selections (i am newly sober) and vowed to come back the next week to try it, and so we did. came is as party of 3 on a monday. there were only a couple tables seated, but one of them was a long table of like 10 or 15 guys. the vibe inside felt very relaxed; a casual atmosphere, featuring soft colors and yellow lighting. the menu was simple but offered plenty of items for a good selection to chose from. i went with the vodka pizza, which was delicious, but seriously lacked the sauce ! i asked for extra on the side and our server did say it would take a couple mins to heat up, which was fine, but it was literally like 20 mins and came out piping hot, like almost still simmering. that wasn't necessary and took entirely too long. i didn't try my friend's pizzas, but they looked great! they also ordered extra sauce (just red, not vodka) and theirs came out perfect temperature in 3 mins. i was shocked. the mocktails were delicious and everything i hoped for. i will be back :)

Greg P.

Yelp
Excellent pizza!!! Ordered take out. Pizza was ready on pick up. Next time I'll dine in. Did I say excellent, I meant better than excellent!

Michael Z.

Yelp
Where to start, while I was the first to post the closed doors and excited to try, I had to go out of town and couldn't get to try it out until now. Service was on point, pretty much everyone greeted or checked on me with a smiling face and a helpful attitude. Didn't know what my take on the pizza was but since it is a "Detroit" style pizza place I had to indulge in the Detroit square. The crust was perfect with just the right amount of crust goodness around the edges and the cheese pull was awesome, that makes me smile! It is brand new so there were not many people in the restaurant but the inside looked very nice and inviting, a great overall feel of open space. All in all everything was really good and I will be back, multiple times. Great showing Emmy and I am sure you will do well!

Zoe C.

Yelp
Fantastic experience at Emmy Squared. The food and service were both great. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich (with grilled chicken) was phenomenal as was the VIP Pizza. I am definitely looking forward to coming back and trying other dishes.

Sarah A.

Yelp
Such amazing food! I got a pineapple juice as a drink, and a Le Big Matt with some waffle fries, service was great, we got seated quickly and had an attentive waitress, very kind as well! The only thing that I didn't really enjoy was the ambiance, it sounded like there was a party going on around here since it was a Friday night, many people coming and going. At one point there was multiple cars in the lot honking their horn which was annoying. Still loved the food though. Will be coming back!

Beth B.

Yelp
The BEST pizza in Ft. Lauderdale! Pepperoni is fire, delicious sauce and the crust is perfection. Try Emmy Squared Pizza it won't disappoint.

Erica K.

Yelp
I had been to Emmy Squared in NYC and Atlanta and was so surprised to see they had opened one here in FTL. This place rules. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. The place looks awesome - really nice aesthetic with plants and dinosaurs. Our waiter was super nice and engaging. What an excellent addition to the neighborhood.

Kenneth R.

Yelp
Ahhhhh!!! I was so excited to see this come to FL, Sarah was an exceptional server, I went to the original location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The burger was just like the one I had years ago, I've been chasing those sweet onions since I had it back in 2018! Let's not forgot to mention the delicious pizza, just take a look your self! The ambiance is perfect for a good date or dinner with the friends, Will be coming back soon, in fact this is my second day in a row getting a great meal here!

Marlin T.

Yelp
I tried the lunch special after hearing good things about the Detroit style pizza I had two Margarita style slices accompanied by a very small caesar salad The slices are very small approx two bites They had a decent crunch but the topping was a bit soupy. We were two of four people dining in the restaurant, but were rushed out like they had a full house It was worth trying, but I am a pretty certain that I won't return.

Malcolm J.

Yelp
I've been there twice since opening, and the food is delicious, definitely not something you expect from a pizza restaurant. The service is fantastic, and the pizza flavors and combinations are unique. A great affordable date spot anytime during the week. I'm excited to try brunch once they start. A definite must-try!

Roger B.

Yelp
This was the most horrible pizza the chicken didn't even taste like chicken it was fried so much it was burnt. We called the manager over he was not a great manager did not offer anything to make us happy. 3/2/24 at 12:30pm please hire a nee manager NEVER GOING BACK DISGUSTING

Nick R.

Yelp
Highly recommend this spot for Detroit style pizza. The pizza was delicious as was the burger, which comes on a pretzel bun. Really enjoyed our meal here and the server was super friendly. Fast service as well

Paul N.

Yelp
Dropped in and had the lunch special. Salad plus a couple of squares. Perfect amount for lunch. Solid Detroit style pizza! Restaurant wasn't very busy when I went. Service was excellent!

Carl B.

Yelp
Some of the best Za in Fort Lauderdale. I highly recommend trying this out. My wife always gets the Moz sticks too, which she loves.

Ellen O.

Yelp
Had lunch here and also take out a week later. FIRST VISIT For lunch, there is a $12 special with a few options. One of the options included a chicken parm sandwich. It has two sizable cutlets stacked and covered in red sauce and mozzarella cheese on a roll. My husband LOVED it. He ordered a side of FF as well. Hot, crispy, yummy! I had the brussel sprout salad, which comes with a miso dressing. I asked for the salad dry and the miso dressing and a champagne vinegarette dressing on the side. I used both dressings and loved the salad, which also had gorgonzola, craisins, and cherry tomatoes. SECOND VISIT We ordered take out. We had a traditional square pizza with red sauce and mozzarella and one with pepperoni. We also doubled down on the brussel sprouts salad, chicken parm sandwich and ordered mozzarella sticks. The pizza was crispy in the edges, softening the middle, good sauce and cheese ratio... Mozzarella sticks were huge, hot and gooey (I hate when they come like a breaded cheese stick and rubbery) and came with a generous side of marinara. Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, crispy and delicious. No wonder it was recently rated #7/10 of the best pizzas in NYC! We will definitely go back for more!!!

Ricky D.

Yelp
I'm not sure why Emmy Squared branched out from their Williamsburg (Brooklyn) location because when I tried it years ago it tasted like gentrifier pizza - the bland pizza like product you could find in any U.S. suburb. My friend wanted pizza and despite a bad Brooklyn experience, I gave in and went and tried to be objective. Surprisingly the pizza was not bad and was similar to a Grandma Pie. Maybe I've been in Florida too long (love the State but not the pizza) but had there been a little more char on the bottom and some olive oil it would have been good. The problem I had is when we ordered other items from their limited menu. A Chicken Parm sandwich was not edible. It was dry and severely overcooked but even if it were prepared differently the low quality chicken still would have been bad and the flavorless sauce didn't help. We also tried a Burger and it was as bad as the Chicken Parm and it was just an overcooked flavorless mess. The best thing about Emmy Squared was the great service from the friendly staff and they are the reason I might return. The restaurant is casual and comfortable and perhaps if I didn't try the sandwiches then the experience and review would not have been so bad.

Yelp
This is one of my new favorite restaurants!! The mood is exquisite! The waiters are extremely kind, friendly, and hardworking. But at the end, when my dad had asked the waitress to box his chicken parmesan, she didn't hear him and threw it away. All of the other waiters cared and so did the chef, but the waitress had an attitude. Mostly though, she was very kind. Other than that is was excellent!! The food is amazing. I had a pizza and it was super creamy and crunchy which is an amazing mix in my opinion. I love the way that they have some booth and some regular tables. It is clean and spacious too. The led lights make the place bright and beautiful! I do recommend this place!

Steve G.

Yelp
Some of the best pizza I've had in south Florida. My new go to spot for pizza in the Fort Lauderdale area. Love their vodka sauce with pesto drizzle on pizza also can't forget about their sesame seed crust. Five star pizza

Kitty S.

Yelp
The pizza was so good I barely got a slice when I brought it home! But the slices I did get I devoured. I could not be more happy to have discovered Emmy Squared in my back yard! The owner and staff are super friendly and chill, place it literally a hidden gem in the city. Needless to say I must return to get my own pizza non-shareable because it's that delicious. Toppings are generous the Detroit style is LEGIT and the satisfaction is .

Nishu V.

Yelp
We ordered the pizza which was on the soggy side which was disappointing. Drinks were great. Friendly staff! Inside and outside seating which provided great ambiance.

Vanessa B.

Yelp
After coming across Emmy Squared on TikTok, my boyfriend and I decided to have a last minute date night and head over to try their Detroit style pizza. Overall, the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the mozzarella sticks and they were cooked to perfection and the marinara sauce that accompanied it on the side, was the perfect dipping sauce to fully enjoy the app before the pizzas arrived. We had the Hawaiian and VIP pies and both were crunchy, tasty and had the best combination of flavors. We appreciated our server Monty explaining the layout of the menu and which pies had white or red sauce. He confirmed that both of the pies we ordered were his favorites and that we would fully enjoy, which in the end we definitely did. Great service, food and vibes! Can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu!

Yelp
I love the New York locations and used to go to them on a regular basis. But this one was slightly off. I think this location used a pizza rolling oven while the others don't. As a result, this location's bottom crust never fully caramelized. Also, all the pizzas appeared to have been par-cooked with all the toppings added and then cooked in. The jalapeños on the colony were fully deseeded, unlike in other locations. The cheese hadn't fully browned on the pizzas. The honey on the colony was almost nonexistent. The other apps all tasted the way they did in nyc. Overall a decent place, but a shell of the other locations that make this chain famous. I'll probably try it another time in the future to see if it corrects itself. But I won't try again if it is the same

Yelp
Monty was our server and to be honest he's the only reason why I'm doing this review. I've had Emmy's in NY and they recently changed the Big Hawaiian's sauce. Monty was nice to bring us a side of hot honey (the sauce they used to make it with) and was vibrant with positive energy which made dining even better with my partner and I. Monty also fulfilled multiple requests swiftly and kindly. Thanks for the amazing food, dining experience, and amazing service!

Yelp
Went here today. Didn't expect the deliciousness of their pizza. New Yorker pizza snob here. So I ordered a pizza (plain cheese) even though I had considered their margerita pizza which of course had pesto according to the menu. When my pizza came it had pesto on it which was delish. 2 bites into the pizza the guys comes out and apologizes that he served me a pizza which was not what I ordered. I felt dumb but he said keep on enjoying it on the house that the pizza I had ordered would be out shortly. What customer service! 5 stars. He gracefully of course gave me a box to take mine home while I ate the "mistake" which was a good mistake. Lol. The place is upscale looking with a menu to match. They even have burratta available as a topping for their pizzas. The grub is bangin! Will be back for sure. It's an open kitchen btw. I will always eat in an open kitchen restaurant so they can't "hide" anything

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here for years! I heard about this on instagram years ago with their NYC locations and haven't visited them while in city. So when I saw Emmy Squared was 5 minutes from my apartment, I was shook! I did Uber eats my order but I can't wait to go in. Even for Uber, it was so crispy, hot, fresh! The anchovy Caesar is to die for and I love the quality of the anchovies they use. We got the cheese pizza and added the ezzo pepperoni- yum!! I can't wait to go in! Also I saw a review that it's expensive... the small pizza fed me and my boyfriend last night and today for lunch and was $18! The cheese pizza is just $15 which is a steal for Fort Lauderdale. Other spots charge upwards of $27-$30 a pie lol.

Yelp
omg I did not get one picture of the food, but that should tell you how fast we DEVOURED IT Monté was the kind & comical server who helped us give true & valid recommendations to our common "what should we order?" Questions. He did not steer us wrong. We ended up deciding on the Angel Detroit Style Pizza w Hot Honey drizzled over the top. Wow. My bf grabbed Le Matt Burger. Wow. Normally, I hate ordering a burger out when I can have a delicious juicy one at home. A simple meal. No biggie. Wrong. Believe the hype & try THAT BURGER thanks Emmy !!! also the ambience, is calm & chic/cute. Outdoor or indoor seating with a posh, clean vibrant feel to it(:
