Detroit-style pizza, burgers, salads, and cocktails

"Expanding to a third Nashville location in Germantown, Emmy Squared continues its pizza-and-burger formula in a space that was rebuilt after tornado damage, offering its signature Detroit-style pies and elevated burgers." - Delia Jo Ramsey

"Opening on Thursday, May 20, Emmy Squared’s third Nashville outpost in Germantown at the former Silo site will initially operate for takeout and delivery only from 1121 5th Avenue North. The menu sticks to the chain’s signature offerings — thick, hearty Detroit-style pizzas (including a Nashville hot chicken pizza), salads, sandwiches and the award-winning double-stack burger — with cocktails, beer and wine to follow once dine-in service begins. The new space features a spacious dining room with vaulted ceilings and oversized light fixtures, custom Tennessee-wood tables built by local craftsmen Eagle Reclaimed Wood, a full bar with seating for 12, a private dining room with a large family-style table that echoes the ceiling details, and patio areas with high-top rail seating as well as cafe and lounge-style seating. Upon opening the Germantown location will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. (extended to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday), with dine-in service and expanded hours coming later." - Delia Jo Ramsey

"Emmy Squared’s Detroit-style pizza is 'most excellent,' he wrote, and it will provide something a little bit novel to the Boston pizza scene." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal
"But Matt and Emily Hyland, the restaurateurs behind Violet, made their name, in part, by giving a platform to a specialty of Michigan, another culinarily overlooked state: Detroit-style pizza—thick-crusted and rectangular, with the sauce atop the cheese instead of vice versa—served at their beloved restaurant Emmy Squared." - Hannah Goldfield

"Courtney Hood, founder of Blonde Voyage Nashville: Even though the Nashville food scene was flooded with openings in 2018, I’d say Emmy Squared, Folk, and Lyra were easily top contenders." - Delia Jo Ramsey
