Never order on line. The order will stay pending and you will not get your food. When the owner isn't there it's all ways a problem The employee there doesn't know anything about the system or English for that matter. So comprehension skill aren't there. Pointless and still hungry Owner call me back, says I must wait 3-5 days to receive my money! I'm telling her that her system is flawed and that I don't want my money ,I want to order. Says for me to wait for the money SMH. No comprehension DONT ORDER ONLINE SYSTEM US NO CONVENIENCE!!! ONLY A HEADACHE

I've ordered in the past a family meal and everything was great! I mostly order Chicken or vegetables lo mein and chicken broccoli and even time it very delicious 😋 and fresh. Delivery is fast and personal are friendly. I will recommend it.

I had delivery. I have been searching and trying out places, since the Jade East in Tewksbury went bad. This place is the closest food I have found to the old Jade. Ordered only 3 appetizers and best I have tasted in some time. Delivery in 30 minutes, and delivery young man was very polite and professional. There is just one thing that bothered me though. The regular size containers were clearly small containers and the large container was the size of an average container. So that might put a hamper on leftovers. And disappointed that there wasn't at least one fortune cookie in my order and they do skimp on the duck sauce. Still giving them a 5 for how good the food tasted. I am okay with overlooking those little spoileges to get well textured, good tasting food any day. I will absolutely be ordering from here again.

Google
So amazing fast delivery for 3 pupu platers for Easter amazing flavor picky people chowed it all best place in Lowell. I can’t believe the people who posted one stars must be grumpy because this place just got new customers every time we order Chinese THANKS!!

Google
Best house rice I’ve had in the area as well as crab Rangoon’s and boneless ribs. I stopped eating chineese food due to it upsetting my stomach but not here! It’s amazinggg. Also very fairly priced can’t wait for. My Thanksgiving order!

Google
The spare ribs I ordered a large and I only received 4 and I ordered the only size crab rangoon they have which it was not a size at all and only received 3 I also ordered a pork egg rolls and got just 1. So the spare ribs have no barbecue sauce on them and that's what I ordered it was completely garbage would not recommend to a friend

Google
Rude lady over the phone and she lied about not being able to deliver to me.👎🏽I won’t waste my money here.

Google
Ordered the kung pao chicken lunch here while working in the area. Food was excellent, veggies were super fresh and the sauce was really good. Fried rice was also nice, light and fresh and not too heavy. Also they throw in a soda with the lunch order which was a nice bonus.

Yelp
Kinda hit or miss the food is good but some days it's not up to par but in general one of few Polynesian style Chinese food restaurants around so I will still go

Yelp
Different. Fresh. Food was not at all greasy. *Food was very hot. This is a big one for me. Very affordable. Easy to get in and out without having to park on some side street. Chicken wings are the star here. Fried rice is very good. General Tao Chicken is very good. Boneless spareribs taste a little different, but I appreciated them. Nice people.

Yelp
The quality of the food wasn't good and the water chestnut in my food was sour, and to cover up the amount of meat they give ,they filled the plate up with rice ,I was surprise, wasn't angry about how little meat they give but the fact that they think the customer is dumb enough to be fool.

Yelp
Good food for a fair price. The service is good have no complaints. They always get my order exactly as I ordered it and that's a big deal for me.

Ray R.

Yelp
Service was unavailable. I had placed an order online, at first it said my card declined but then I got an email saying that they took the money. I called them to make sure they had my order but they woman over the phone was absolutely rude and said that I needed an order number to have an order which they've never asked for before so i was confused. They woman kept yelling over the phone and hanging up every time I would try to explain myself, and everytime I would try to call back she would decline. Never ordering from here again if that's how their "customer service" is.

Yelp
Still just as amazing as a year ago when I wrote my original review! Every time we order, food is fresh and not heavy with oil. The staff is so genuinely nice...I wouldn't go anywhere else. Tonight was my husband's birthday and I ordered the wrong meal for my son but the woman who answered the phone took the time to explain the difference between the meals even though I could hear they were extremely busy in the background. Turns out, I ordered wrong so it was on me. I highly recommend them!

Yelp
First time at this restaurant while working in Lowell. Read previous reviews before choosing this restaurant. Ordered some take out. Staff were polite and quickly took my order and sent me on my way. Food was fine. I would definitely return and recommend.

Yelp
Food was prepared and very good. All was cooked to perfection. Price was reasonable

Yelp
If you enjoy Chinese food, I strongly recommend that YOU DO NOT BUY FOOD FROM THIS RESTAURANT! Everything my wife and I tasted was lacking in flavor -- even the shrimp lo-mein was tasteless. So was the egg-foe-young. My wife ordered Mandarin Beef which, she claimed, was very spicy as she liked it. Unfortunately I tried it and couldn't get it down my throat because the spiciness was so extreme that it was impossible to eat. I will admit there was one thing that they delivered that wasn't awful: The PURE WHITE STEAMED RICE. I don't know but maybe it is impossible to ruin pure steamed white rice? But I could be wrong? If my review means anything, STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. Awful, Awful, Awful....!

Yelp
Thought the food was delicious! Not very greasy and everything tasted fresh. Loved the black bean chicken, and the egg rolls especially. Plus the prices are on point for Chinese food- very affordable for a family of 6 to order out! Will definitely be back again. They forgot all the sauces with our order but we weren't mad about it; they did give us a free bag of crab Rangoon with our order so the missing sauces weren't a big deal.

Neil R.

Yelp
Used to be a decent take-out place. Menu prices have skyrocketed over the past year, which may not be completely their fault but still. Two of our last three orders were missing items that were charged for and not included in the bags. An order of Large Pork Fried Rice came with approximately one tablespoon of shredded pork. Any value for your money that existed here is just gone. The food is bland. They have become too much trouble to order from anymore based on price and quality and flavor.

Yelp
I get food here weekly, but the girl taking the order is rude and lacks respect for customers. I love the food, but this treatment ruins it.

Rachael P.

Yelp
For delivery: On time. Inexpensive. Crab Rangoon quality is quite low, and not enough sauce provided. Most duck sauce was in those little packets that are quite gross.

David B.

Yelp
I decided to try this place: it was interesting. Thanks to their generous delivery schedule, I was able to complete the movie was watching. The food looked good, despite the oil-stained bag it arrived in. On tasting the dumplings and triple delight, I struggled to reconcile my hunger with my desire to eat food with taste. I thought the hunger was going to win. Turned out a desire for taste reminded that this was a poor use of caloric intake. I rendered a fair amount to the disposal. I hope it will forgive me.

Yelp
Horrible service. Ordered online food came one hour later. Notice that half my order was not there and had to wait another hour for the rest of the food. Called the store and they were being rude and constantly hanging up on me. Would not eat here again, wish I could give zero stars.

Yelp
I've had a lot of Chinese food in my life. A guy I know said the food there is not too good. Of course I thought some people like places with sub par food , and then some people don't like what everyone raves about. Decided to try it. Beef with broccoli. Easy. Safe. Decent nutrition . Was I ever wrong. I couldn't eat ANYTHING. The rice was weird looking , greasy , and had an odd taste. The beef ??? , it surely wasn't beef. Looked like maybe cat meat or rat meat or who knows what. The taste was horrible. The texture was rubbery. I paid $ 19 and change for it. Ate the broccoli. That's it. So it came out to be approximately $ 3 per broccoli floret. Tossed the rice and what ever it was they said was beef. WORST Chinese food ever , by a large degree. Felt taken advantage of. $ 20 and all that's edible is the broccoli ? For real ? Yes. Better heed this review everybody , or you can just go flush some $ tens and $ twenties right down the toilet bowl right now. What I should do , and still may , is contact the Health Dept. They should NOT be allowed to serve what they serve. Signed , Beyond Bad. ‼

Yelp
Empire Hunan is currently the best Chinese food delivery I'm aware of in Lowell. Their food has proven to be consistently *fantastic* over the last 6 months or so of ordering, with every dish being very good to great. They also throw in a lot of free chicken fingers and rangoons with your order, or eggrolls, whatever they likely have on hand. From the food to the dipping sauces, everything is in generous portions and quite plentiful. Anything breaded is cooked to a point where it's that perfect level of crispness (never soggy on delivery), and has a pleasant snap, almost. Hard to describe, but you know you're in the hands of a careful cook when they can manage to pull things off the fire at just the right time. Everything thus far has been fresh and made with good quality ingredients (no gristly chicken or beef). Their menu hangs on my fridge, with notes like "hard to order 3rd time" but "OH so YUMMY" etc. Depending on who answers the phone, it can be tough placing an order, but well worth the effort.

Yelp
Very good, HOT!!!! fresh food, especially if you pick it up. Great little place for takeout and delivery is always fast. I picked up Lo Mein tonight and when I opened it about 5 mins later at home it was steaming hot and almost burnt my mouth, that's awesome! Consistently hot, fresh food. My go-to for Chinese takeout/delivery 4.4 stars WELL DONE!

Yelp
"Meh" at best; but only because I've had much worse Chinese. Empire Hunan however, was definitely not what was touted by these other reviews. I'm starting to think I'm the only one with working taste buds on Yelp. From an app-perspective, the beef teriyaki was rubbery and had an odd 'dog food' flavor and the chicken wings were soggy and reminiscent of a sub-par pizza shop. You can't mess up rice, so...that was fine. Main dishes are nothing more than glorified apps with lame veggies and sparing sauces. I ordered Kung Pow chicken, and it was barely drizzled in sauce. I will give them an "A" for effort throwing in a free soda and crab rangoon, albeit I don't care for crab rangoon. unless it's one of your last options for that late-night Chinese craving - try and avoid.

Yelp
The spicy garlic eggplant plate with steam rice and chiken tereyaki is the best...this the cleanest Chinese restaurant in lowell and they don't have the Lowell local drug addicts delivering your food! So your safe! They keep it in the family.

Yelp
I was very tentative to patron here. I'd drive by it daily from work to my hotel always wondering what the food was like there. Not being native to city of Lowell, I was unsure of what their Chinese food reputation was, or even if it existed. A few weeks passed when I finally decided to take the plunge. I stepped in the front door...it was barren and cold. Literally cold, the workers were wearing thick coats and beanies. But it was alright, I continued to make my way to the register since I was ordering it to-go anyway. I was a bit taken back by the prices. 6.75 seemed a bit steep for the Orange Chicken. But my curiosity was in top gear and nothing aside from a dead rat floating in the cooking oil, was going to stop me. My first moment of delight came when the food was given to me in a brown paper bag. It was heavy and substantially full. Good, I was getting my money's worth at least in quantity. My second moment of delight came when I started consumption. It was fantastic. The rice was warm, the chicken was flavorful, and it even came with an egg roll. I'm use to eating alone in a hotel room, but it's not often I giggle to myself with glee when eating. This was one of those rare occasions. But no story is without tragedy, and mine is no different. After my long, over-due encounter with this Chinese food oasis, I found that I was no longer going to be traveling to Lowell, and that my dining experience with Empire Hunan would remain alone in my memory as a night of surprise, delight, and Orange Chicken.

Yelp
UNIQUE AUTO DETAILING ( Lowell ) - I eat at Empire Hunan 2-3 times a week and love there food . Always serve great food and keep me satisfied! .

Yelp
Some of the lesser enjoyable food I've had in a while. Usually I've been going to other places but thought I would give this one a try to broaden my horizons. The teriyaki's a little rough for me but their rice was okay.

Yelp
This place is family owned!! They cook real good, you must try there C19 or there D5, I don't understand why there giving this place a bad review, they just did a real nice update to the restaurant. & the food when ordering over 15.00 you get Rangoon's or chicken fingers, I mean try it for your self...

Charvy K.

Yelp
The hot and sour soup had no flavor, taste very watery and texture was watery. The wonton soup was disquisting. Inside the wonton, the pork was old and had a sour bitter taste. Did not taste fresh or even a day old, it tasted like it was sitting there for weeks.

Kay D.

Yelp
I love the Chicken and Broccoli here! The prices are totally worth it. It is probably the cheapest Chinese food you can find in Lowell. I used to eat here everyday until I moved away.

Tyler C.

Yelp
Food is good prices are cheap and they are friendly. I love the combo's that include an egg roll and crab rangoons.

Jane A.

Yelp
The food is ok, even tho you can taste the ingredients aren't fresh. The one thing that turns me off is their service is the worst. They forgot to bring rice that comes along with the food for THREE times, and there are couple times it took them two hours to just deliver a meal to my house. When I complained about the rice, the server said "next time you order I will bring the rice OK" and he sounds angry at me. Seriously...
