Emporio Armani Caffè

"Just across from the famous Les Deux Magots, this smart contemporary-style brasserie on the ground floor of the Michelin-starred Armani/Ristorante is run at a brisk pace by the same Italian team. From verdure alla griglia drizzled with Apulian olive oil, linguine alle vongole veraci – cooked al dente and served with a delicious helping of bottarga – to classic tiramisu with a light and full-flavoured mascarpone cream, as well as spaghetti al pomodoro, ravioli del plin, risotto, tortellini: all the classics of Italian cuisine are present and correct, executed in time-honoured tradition." - Michelin Inspector

We enjoyed a delightful experience dining at Emporio Armani. The freshly prepared pasta, sumptuous appetizers, and excellent wine list were a welcomed treat. The service was excellent and the ambiance is modern but casually elegant.

This is a premium place, with a really nice ambience. I can't give a review of the entire menu because i only tried a couple of things, but out of those, the best thing was the Tiramisu and the Apple and Cinnamon Soda. I really love how well the team greeted me and how nice they were. This place is gorgeous at night, especially on a rainy day.

The ambience is very Armani, the waiter was very arrogant and rude, he doesn’t even look you in the face while ordering he looks at other tables and people not to forget his attitude which was a bit too much. As for the hot chocolate and tiramisu they were mouthwatering, I wouldn’t change a thing about them. These two are a must try!

Yesterday my friend and I dined at this restaurant. We just went there for desserts. The moment we ordered just 2 desserts around 7:25pm we were given a weird look by the staff. A couple of minutes into ordering one of the waiter came to our table and told us they usually don’t just serve desserts but however for us they would make an exception if we would vacate the table by 8pm basically in 30mins. It was very disappointing to see how we were treated. The desserts were served at the table around 7:48pm. Constantly we were given looks by the staff. As a culinary student and a food lover I have been to several restaurants in Paris just to try the desserts but we have never been given such a shitty treatment from the staff not have we ever been told to vacate the table in 30mins from being seated.

Bad food the cheese was not fresh the veal looked like a pork chop. The only thing good was the pasta.

Google
an extremely disappointing experience. The food was terrible — the risotto, in particular, was overcooked and completely ruined. When I raised the issue with the General Manager, I was told, “Sometimes it comes out like this, sometimes like that. You Italians are just used to eating it too al dente.” Excuse me? Isn’t this supposed to be an Italian restaurant? That response was not only unprofessional, it was downright insulting. Passing off poor execution as a matter of “cultural taste” is disgraceful. If you can’t even cook a basic risotto properly, perhaps don’t pretend to serve Italian food. Shameful.

I would like to give a special shoutout to the staff, including the manager, who remembered my family and i after almost 3 years of not seeing us. That was greatly appreciated. Atmosphere: a chic elegant Armani style interior with white table cloth service. Everything about the setup is elegant including their terrasse and it allows for both day and night dining. Usually buzzing. Food: consistently excellent, despite having a relatively small menu. I always use a basic tomato pasta as a benchmark for my judgement because its a simple dish but very difficult to do correctly. Their is great- a full 10/10. The pasta is al dente and the sauce clearly uses fresh san marzano tomato and you can taste it. Their deserts are excellent too like their classic tiramisu. Im partial to a good scoop of coffee ice cream and theirs is an illy espresso flavor, so intense coffee. They serve their homemade ice cream straight into your bowl from their original steel tubs. Really cannot fault much i had this time around. Service: always professional and timely. Friendly, well dressed, and polite. Slightly above average pricing. Final notes: based on my previous experience along with this one after 3 years and covid- i highly recommend going here for some clean simple Italian food and good service.

It is a well-known designer caffe, I expect it to be at high standards or at least to be decent in every aspect. We were on holiday in Paris with my daughter and we decided to go to this cafe ( Emporio Armani caffe) to have a nice afternoon tea with cake. We ordered their 3 mini cakes with any of hot drinks / tea or coffee. It was good, and as we were nibbling on that, something took our attention, and it was a huge mouse run across the room 😲 😮 it just put us off. We did inform the waiting staff who was serving us, and his answer was shocking ( he said, "They live here," and laughs) we were offended, disgusted, disappointed, and left.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I rolled in at 5 pm, hungry after having skipped lunch. We were able to order food which was awesome. We had an entree and dessert each and it came out to be 56€ so no, it's not crazy expensive as Yelp has it at €€€€. We were also seated immediately with no wait although the place was packed. I ordered the cheese gnocchi and my boyfriend got the veal ravioli. The portions were small but everything was made in house and delicious. My gnocchi was super soft and my boyfriend absolutely loved his meal. They also gave us a paper bag filled with small bread rolls--warm and fresh from the oven. For dessert, I got the hot chocolate for 8€ and he got the panna cotta for 12€. They had small desserts starting at 4€. Not bad at all. The panna cotta was delicious but somewhat small for 12€. My hot chocolate was out of this world delicious. The texture was amazingly thick yet soft and it wasn't too sweet. Most heavy hot chocolates leave me feeling sick but this one was just right. It also came with a small tub of whipped cream. The reason they don't get five stars is that our server was actually awful. He ran around hectically and we had to ask for water twice. There were also crumbs all over the floor.

Yelp
Location is great. I was wondering what a clothing brand could bring to the Parisian coffee scene. Answer is NOTHING. Beside the service, nothing was up to the standards of food or drinks you can get in ANY Parisian Bistrot. The pizza was awful and smaller than a small pancake, with the price of real Italian pizza plus the plane ticket to go eat it in Rome! Portions in general are ridiculous. Overall I recomment to go to Les Deux Magots or Brasserie Lipp next to it!

Yelp
Kind of reminds me of the anti-French. Very sleek, very minimalist, very contemporary, but there's something about this place that pulls diners in. Went for a light lunch of assorted cheeses and salad and wine, which was very good and hit the spot. Looking at the other plates coming from the kitchen, everything looked so yummy and tempting. Every plate has a certain degree of pretty, which I guess is what to be expected of Armani.

Yelp
Your paying for the name rather than the food. Service was inattentive. Food was decent but too bland. Over priced for portions, but keeps you from eating too much

Yelp
MEH sums it up exactly. Overpriced and rather bland thoughtlessly cooked Italian food. I've been to the Armani cafe in NYCity and Dubai and both were significantly better. There are many many better places to spend that kind of big bucks on food in the neighborhood (try Rue Du Dragon, 20 feet away). Definitely a PASS
