Great place to stay in Uluru. We visited with family and children. Apartment was very clean, well equipped. Welcomed by friendly Tomas who made us feeling special. Children enjoyed this location, very close to town centre. Best wishes for you all. Highly recommended specially if you travel with kids and want a home friendly experience

Great place to stay as a family. Loads of room. Comfy beds. The TV space is great. Our girls made 'resding nooks' out of the spare shelves in the living room. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. Major bonus was the washer/dryer which we used every day thanks to wild unseasonal rain. Only downside was the small shower and lack of fan in the bathroom. Otherwise, a fabulous place to stay - made even better by getting to use the pool at Sails and the breakfast buffet!

Great place to stay while on our second visit to Uluṟu. Comfortable bed, lovely views from the balcony and a well stocked kitchen. Two decent size television screens with one in the living area as well as one in the bedroom. The bathroom is a little old and does need a bit of an upgrade but the water pressure was good.

Fabulous place to stay. Well built. Quiet and cool in the summer heat. All the facilities you need to keep the costs low - full kitchen, laundry, bathroom accessories-hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner etc. |When booking tours you will find they say pick up is Desert Sands, this is a moments walk to the venue next door so don’t let that deter you. I have nothing bad to say about my experience. Located right next to the Town Centre you can walk to coffee, the gallery, viewing platform and pool within minutes. Clean, comfortable and safe for solo travellers.

Not much to add to previous positive reviews really, for a ‘captive’ experience these are good. Large, spacious, clean and well-equipped apartments. Comfy bed and furniture. Very close to Desert Springs Hotel and the ‘town centre’. Efficient check in, great staff, parking close by. No room servicing but a mountain of towels provided

This accommodation is really useful in the sense the one bedroom apartment is spacious and has all the amenities you need. King bed can be made as twin and fold out couch can be made up too. ||The amenities in bathroom were well stocked and we loved the body balm so bought some at the shops||Being self contained with a washing machine and dryer (wash powder provided) is very useful. Cooking facilities were good too. ||However, around the grounds they don’t empty the bins enough. You’re expected to clear your rubbish ourselves and so you expect bins to not be over flowing. The extractor fan in the bathroom runs non stop. So if you are sensitive to noise take ear plugs as even with the door closed (en-suite from bedroom) it can still be heard. ||If it was better kept (but old when you look close) I’d give it a 4 but I accept that maintenance out here is difficult. ||Overall I’d say it’s more a 3.5 than a 3 star rating.

Google
Solid 3.5 stars. Spacious 2 bedroom apartment offering the comfort and amenities of a mid-range Quest, but priced at the level of a more luxurious resort. That's the economics of the region however and with no other competition they can price accordingly. At $800AUD per night outside peak season we missed not having a pool in the complex, and felt maintenance and housekeeping weren't quite up to scratch. Our room had a couple of issues at check-in which were quickly rectified once staff were alerted. No smart TV, no dishwasher, no seperate toilet, no sound system and no coffee machine in the room are unsual omissions at this price-point, but the rooms themselves are comfortable and of a good size and the town square was very handy. Provided you don't let the high price here set your expectations, Emu Walk is perfectly acceptable.

Good self catering option at the Ayers Rock resort. 4 ring hob but no oven. Tea, coffee, milk. Salt and pepper provided. Spacious accommodation , close to the centre and trip pick up point at the Desert Garden hotel. Only negative was the very noisy air con.

Yelp
It's clean and spacious. The only thing is, it's skipped by the tour buses and need to walk to the other hotel. Wish the rooms were cleaned every two days at least. We stayed for three nights and four days and our unit was not cleaned even once. But we have enough towels. Staff are on to deal with. The front office could be a little friendlier. The bathroom in the reception area stinks so much.

Yelp
Location: It's on the resort, next to Desert Springs. The airport shuttle is the only bus that picks up here. The free resort shuttle and the tours all pick up at Desert Springs. It's about a 10 minute walk on the main road to the Uluru lookout spot, which is very nice. No restaurant/food at this hotel. Room: The living room was large and the sofa was big and comfy. There's a washer and dryer that we didn't use. The bedrooms are a good size and the beds and pillows were nice. The bathroom is big but the shower stall is on the small side. The apartment is starting to show its age, especially noticeable in the bathroom and the carpeting. Toilet is stained, probably by the soft water. This place could definitely use some upgrading/renovations. Service: The front desk staff- some are nicer than others. The lady who checked us in insisted on trying to check two groups in at once but then would get snippy if we didn't answer her when she spoke to us- as if we were somehow supposed to know which group she was directing her requests to as she didn't look up! Also, some questions we received different answers to. The cell phone/WiFi was completely down at the entire resort for our 1.5 day stay, including all hotels, restaurants, stores, grocery store, and park. You had to either use cash or charge to room if that was an option. This hotel was the most expensive one on our trip to NZ and Australia. You don't really have a choice as the only way place to stay is at the resort and this was the only apartment hotel there. Based on our experience at this resort, I wouldn't recommend visiting.

Yelp
I lived with three other family members in one apartment, which had very spacious living/dining areas so that we could spread out. The master bedroom with a king sized bed is linked to the only bathroom. Towels and some toiletries were provided. The two pull out mattress were decently comfy. Had to call to get some sheets, which came by in 15 minutes. Kitchen is large and includes silverware and pots; the nearest grocery store is only a 5 minute walk so can easily prepare meals. Air conditioning is present but gave the place a funny smell and was hard to control. Also, since there was only one bathroom/shower, we had to figure out how to share. Price: $414/night, with breakfast included; its on the pricey side but it's the only apartment option in Ayers Rock resort.

Yelp
Five Stars for a 3 star hotel. So there are 5 properties in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Park and the Emu Walk is one of properties in the Central hotel area right next to the town square. There is a complimentary hotel shuttle from the Ayers Rock airport operated by ATT Kings tours and the motor coaches come with free wi-fi, although very slooow. The front desk clerk was very cordial and had all of my day trip information available and was able to check me in early knowing I had a tour booked before the 3PM check in time. We booked a little late so the only availability was at the Emu Walk in the 1 bedroom apartment, and for $200 a night, was deal for a newly remodeled suite (please see pictures). The beds are really soft, the AC was awesome, and having a full kitchen was awesome for our last morning since we were able to make breakfast with items from the market which is right next door to the Emu Walk. There was even a washer and drier in the kitchen. In addition to the nice bedroom and living areas, there were two balconies, with a balcony that had a desert view. There is also free wi-fi but it is also a bit on the slow side. Instagram and Facebook uploads were a little slow or would fail. But we have no problem with emails on our devices. The only negative point was that the tour do not pick up or drop off so you will need to walk five minutes next door to the Desert Gardens. Just another FYI that the airport transfer is 2 hours before your flight takes off, even though the airport is 15 minutes away. I look forward to my next trip which will be during the Australian Winter when there are less flies!

Yelp
Uluru is an oasis in the outback/desert! There are only a few hotel options, this is the mid-tier choice. Plenty of room/space. Washer/dryer is nice. Small kitchenette. Limited TV channels. It's located right next to the central square, which is very convenient!

Yelp
Brilliant We choose these apartments because they had been refurbished. We checked in early and they phoned us when the rooms were ready about half an hour later. (There was one girl on reception duty, all the people before us had major problems, the receptionist was brilliant, sorted everyone!) The apartments were spacious, clean and well designed with all the comforts of home. Check out was just as simple as check in! Would recommend and return.
