Their food are just ok. The fried rice was a bit salty. They never give utensils or napkins. I guess you have to ask for it.

Google
Horrible don’t come here - they overcharge you so please ask for your receipts! They aren’t honest ppl! You order one thing they charge you for something else. When you ask questions they get mad and unreasonable. Don’t get BAmboozled by this business. They really don’t care about their customers just the money they make from you! You need to treat your customers like gold not jerk offs..

Google
This is my first time ever eating here. The beef and broccoli is so delicious. It’s not salty but it’s very flavorful. I’ll be back there soon.

Carolina Rojas

Google
Typical Chinese restaurant. Highly recommend their steamed dumplings and scallion pancakes. Their home made ice tea is very good but too sweet so I dilute it. Their ingredients are fresh and if you ask for $1-2 extra shrimp it’s really extra on your fried rice.

Google
En Lai is your typical small Chinese fast food restaurant that does not have seating to eat in. They excel at some dishes while others are okay. Love their beef/chicken with broccoli. Their barbecue spare ribs could be more meaty, tender and sauced so I go with the boneless ribs instead. They are very busy during meal times with a steady rush of customers. It's best to plan and call ahead for delivery or takeout during peak dinner and lunch times. They have the standard two woks for cooking main dishes and one wok for frying rice. They can be heavy handed or inconsistent with seasoning some dishes but you can ask them to adjust for low sodium or less seasoning. The place looks run down but their food is good and seems to be prepared in a sanitary way.

ZERO STARS!! I have ordered from En Lai Chinese Kitchen for 35 years. It used to be a mom and pop operation, but has changed in recent years. The quality of the food has deteriorated. The service which had been excellent is now disrespectful and sloppy. They rarely get the deliveries correct, and when faced with their mistakes are unapologetic and uncaring. Buy your food somewhere else!

Google
Really tasty Chinese food. The pork fried rice and the four seasons are my 2 favorite dishes. Service is a bit slow but at least the food is good. Tried other Chinese restaurants in Yonkers but not is as good as this one.

Google
I have been consistently buying at this place for the past 2 weeks and noticed the guy at the counter is manipulative and petty. He charged me the price of a usual order of shrimp and beans and gave a small amount of white rice. I know the portions of food here is usually big and was disappointed with the small portion of food. I told him that I wanted the lunch special but he argued, saying that I pointed at the flip side of the menu and that side of the menu is not 'lunch special' when it was clearly lunch time. I mean you serve and charge lunch special during lunch time, that's the logic. He did not offer to reduce/refund the amount paid. Money minded and seriously not good customer service. Please go elsewhere if possible.

Yelp
They have fried plantains that's already a plus for me. The chicken and broccoli is fire and the gen sos chicken flavor is perfect! Delicious soups and egg rolls.

Jamel R.

Yelp
Food slaps every time, the chicken wings always crispy and have a lot of flavor. Very friendly environment every time I go pick up the food and the delivery always comes on time .

Yelp
I ordered general tso's combo plate, and a roast pork yat gaw mein soup. The soup was soo good! My son had the general tso's chicken, and he said it was very good. The egg rolls were delicious! Delivery was a little late, but everyone was very nice, and the food was great!

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. Omg WORSE WORSE WORSE WORSE Chinese restaurant in the city of Yonkers!!! I'm being very honest. And to make matters worse they are the most expensive too. My order total was $65 and when I asked if they have some sort of deal if you spend over a certain amount and he said I'll give you 2 can soda. The food was disgusting!! The chicken and broccoli was whiter than snow and no sauce. The steamed dumplings were stale and fried rice was hard. Save your time, money and appetite and go to either Panda Chinese restaurant on Yonkers ave or Empire Wok on McLean. Their food is really good and they give you a good deal if you spend a certain Amt. Empire Wok especially they have the family Pak meal. from one customer to the next PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY At En Lai! ** Update- found rat shit on my chicken wing. Omg I tossed everything out! I will call the health department to file a complaint.

Yelp
En Lai Chinese Kitchen was one of my favorite go-to take out restaurant. My wife and I just finished eating our Hot & Sour soup, Broccoli in garlic sauce and Gen Chows Chicken. Broccoli and soup were ok, rated 3/5 but the General Chow was awful. Chicken dish had too much dark meat and pieces weren't crisp but were soggy. We will try one more time and if no improvement, will move on...

alex c.

Yelp
Chicken wings and Chicken dumpling is very good and freshly made.We come back to try other dishes

Marissa T.

Yelp
Missing order and also gave us the wrong order. I wish they would pay more attention to the food they are packaging.

Aaron C.

Yelp
Food was very bad. All day so hungry and food came so bad, crab Rangoon tasted like it had been rotten. Can't believe, had to throw out all good we got and I never do thems ones. I don't like it.I forgive them but can't forgive the memories. Now I must try to find a new place- a real place. They also gave me extra menus, now I got to throw out more, such the waste of paper. Free bottle of coke was pretty good.

Yelp
Traditional Chinese take out that has everything to fill your Chinese-American food needs. Nothing fancy, yet nothing will disappoint you. Portion is generous, yet price is reasonable.

Yelp
This place always manages to get the orders wrong either leaves something out or gives you cheaper version (chicken instead of shrimp and charges shrimp prices! ) the containers are never full. Food is salty and greasy ... too much MSG mouth dry next morning and room spins for hours after consumption. They do not give you noodles utensils or plates unless u ask than give you very few. Metered parking is a real hassle and delivery service takes forever or not at all. Poor business in general. Stale fortune cookies to boot .. yuck don't recommend at all!

Yelp
They were better before. Don't know if they have a new cook but all of a sudden the good is crap. I used to love the chow fun/fat noodles. Now when you order it, there's hardly any flavor, and it's full of onions. It's like boiled noodles and onions that they threw into a pan with a teaspoon of soy sauce. Forget it! I also used to order the beef egg foo yung all the time. Now it comes with three pieces of beef cut up into tiny micro particles. Are they trying to save or something? Save yourself the calories and the money. Cook. Or, try Empire Wok. They're chow fun noodles come in a smaller bowl, but at least it's tasty. So disappointed w EnLai. They used to be good. If they're reading this, I hope they take it to heart and improve the quality of the food coming out of there.

Yelp
Althought the food is good. Customer service is terrible! Twice they forgot a main component of something that I ordered so every time I call since then I remind them very nicely if they can just make sure it's in there. Always forgets then refuses to come back to make sure order is complete. When I call back they said Oh sorry we don't deliver to your address I explained to him that he just did and then he hung up on me!

Dee L.

Yelp
My absolute favorite Chinese restaurant ever!!! It is delicious!!! I've tried various dishes and everything is so tasty. My fav place.

Yelp
Very friendly staff and fast delivery, plus you can pay w/ CC over the phone. Crab Rangoon (4/5), wonton soup (4/5), garlic chicken (3/5), fried dumpling (1/5). Dumplings were actually a little soggy, so I'm not sure what happened there but they weren't very appetizing. Rangoon (generously filled with a sweet crab filling) and soup very good.

Yelp
First time ordering from, will not be ordering from here again. My sesame chicken was more water than an actual sauce. Spring rolls had shrimp in it and I have a family member who's allergic to it. The rice was bland. The food was overpriced. Highly disappointed.

Kara M.

Yelp
This place is disgusting... I always order soups from here and I say white meat chicken.. this time I guess I didn't specify but when the food arrived the chicken in the soup was chicken fat... please see photos below.. I am calling the health department cause God only know what this meat really is... so grossed out... when I called the guy yelled at me... swerve food that people shouldn't even eat, and then yell at your customers... let's see if they yell at the health department when they show up!!!

Yelp
I got food poisoning from this restaurant, please avoid! I ordered broccoli in garlic sauce with brown rice. I never thought I would get food poisoning from just that but sure enough I did. The brown rice may not have been the issue as it tasted just fine. But the garlic sauce for the broccoli just looked like a blob of junk. I tried to avoid eating the sauce as best as I could because it looked sketchy but I still got sick. Please avoid this Chinese restaurant at all costs. Absolutely disgusting.

Yelp
I believe the food here is absolutely amazing.. but today we ordered delivery and they circled the order on the menu meaning he understood what we ordered but did not charge us and did not bring half the order. It's 2 pm on a tuesday took 45 minutes for them to bring just chicken wings and pork fried rice.. we called back to ask for the rest of our food and they brought it now being over an hour and a half since i originally placed the order. they had the nerve to charge us for the food that they forgot to bring us. I called back confused as to why i had to pay but he admits to forgetting but i still have to pay for my meal and eat it alone after everyone else was done eating. After working in the food industry for many years I have learned that if you make a mistake you own up to it and do what you can to keep your customers happy. Good luck with the 6 bucks.

Yelp
best dumplings around by far.. delivery could be quicker but they are always busy !!!!!

Yelp
Our go to Chinese spot. We've tried others in the neighborhood and they suck in comparison. The portions are HUGE!!! Even the lunch specials. My kids LOVE their egg fried rice and hubby and I always order the general Tso chicken extra crispy and extra spicy. Only flaw, don't order too late the chicken was overcooked and dried out and the sauce for the dumplings is way too salty. The dumplings themselves are delicious hours And if you're ever sick, the egg drop soup and wonton soup are pure magic.

Yelp
One of My fav spots. I am so stuck on the food I won't order from any other Chinese restaurant. I actually went to school with the owners daughter lol small world. The staff is very pleasant always willing to help. I live right down the street so it's always up for discussion when ordering food.

Yelp
I took 2 bites out of chicken with green beans and threw it in the garbage. I asked for freshly made chicken and they didn't understand my request. Apparently many people don't mind eating garbage. I'll never eat there again. Is there a 0 star rating?

Yelp
Nice little hole in the wall. The staff is great and the meal was satisfactory. It's really hard to notice any discernible differences in Chinese take out these days, but the Szechuan Shredded Beef seemed to be pretty fresh. Nothing original about it, nothing bad about it. I've walked in and they've had my order ready in 10 minutes every time. Try it out.

Yelp
Best Chinese Take out in Yonkers!!! Their food is always fresh and Good.

Yelp
My whole family has enjoyed En Lai since they opened. The portions are pretty good, and as far as I can tell they don't use MSG and relatively speaking their food is fresh. They are also pretty spot on with delivery times. Because they are good, they are in high demand and busy, so don't call last minute, plan ahead.

Yelp
I moved to the Yonkers area about a year ago, and I have ordered every Sunday ever since. Their food must have drugs in it because it is delicious that it MUST be horrible for you, but I have only gained about 2 pounds in the last year so no, En Lai ensures that their food has only the finest ingredients. Seriously. They are so nice when I call, always deliver within 30 - 50 (when they are super busy) mins. The best part is-- THEY MAKE THE FOOD HOW YOU WANT IT! No soy sauce? Check. No bean sprouts? Check. Oh, you want your dumplings in a soup? Check. You get the point. EN lai rules. They are even stored in a very coveted spot in my phone. That's SPEED DIAL!

Yelp
I like this place cause they are clean and i have never gotten sick of their food. I walked once in this place at 11pm, after a long day at work and they were cleaning each individual chair that was in the lobby area. The food is good, but everyone has a different opinion on how they like their chinese food.

Mick J.

Yelp
This is best Chinese food in Yonkers. I had order about 20 years. Never complain it. They are all kind to people. And chicken broccoli is my favorite. My kid love it too.

Yonkers F.

Yelp
Tried the chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce and a side order of Plantains , really delicious hit the spot. Check out my review of my order on YouTube. It hit the spot I gave it a 4.8 rating out 5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfuWgOeq9ic&t=0s

Yelp
This place deserves a much higher rating. Is it the best Chinese food I've ever had? No, but it's pretty damn tasty and always fresh. What puts it over the edge though is its insane prices. Seriously, you can't find prices this low anywhere anymore, and the food is always delicious, plus delivery is always fast and accurate. Give this place a try- they deserve your business.

Yelp
It's our "Go-To" Chinese fast food joint. Sometimes they are right on the mark & other times, eh..."it must be a different cook" situation. Other than that...it's your typical Chinese Food place. Expect to wait a bit, if you walk-in & ask for your meal. Calling ahead of the game is best. On busy evenings...especially Thursday-Friday nights, it get's super busy.

Karen S.

Yelp
Their cold noodles in sesame sauce sent a friend of mine into ecstasy. I love their orange chicken and another friend goes for the dumplings. They deliver promptly, send out ginourmous portions, enough for three meals for even the hungriest diner and they cheerfully send out extras like mustard and chopsticks. I will go on ordering from them without hesitation.

Phil S.

Yelp
Fast and delicious. Lunchtime specials and dinner combos ftw been eating there over ten years
