I cannot say enough good things about enchanted forest. It was just a perfect experience from beginning to end. I love the local family owned vibe and culture there depicted in the museum and names of different shops and areas etc. The staff were great everywhere we went. The food was all very affordable. It was very well kept. I love that it is actually entirely set in the forest, it’s not just the name! Wonderful even on a hot day. Everything is so thoughtfully designed. The log ride of course was amazing! My kids loved our time there and so did I. And I have to say THANK YOU for having themed clothing there that matches the theme park! I love buying shirts/sweatshirts from all the fun places we visit, and more and more these days I am disappointed at the selection. It tends to be things that are extremely gendered in ways that are not necessary or make any sense, or they just don’t look at all like the place we are at. Love the neutral actually enchanted forest branded merch and not some gimmicky stuff! We will be coming here for years to come. 😍

The Enchanted Forest has cast its spell on me time and time again - and even after many visits, I still find myself charmed. While the park may be showing a bit of wear these days, the whimsical magic is alive and well, especially through the eyes of a young child. Wander along shaded woodland paths that twist and turn through nursery rhyme vignettes, fairy tale hideaways, and playful surprises. Whether you're sliding down the tongue of a wicked witch or teetering inside the Crooked Man's house, it's impossible not to feel your inner child emerge for a little fun. The haunted house remains a favorite of mine-though parents beware: it delivers genuine chills that might be too intense for the tiniest adventurers. Another highlight is the rustic little western town, where I enjoyed a warm, fresh churro that hit the spot. There are a couple of small eateries scattered about offering quick, simple bites perfect for refueling mid-adventure. Rides (albeit a bit on the spendy side) range from gentle to thrilling. Ice Mountain and the Big Timber log ride will delight older kids and adults alike, while a dedicated children's section keeps the younger ones happily engaged. We visited on the first open Monday of the season and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds, giving us a relaxed two-hour window to explore every nook and cranny of the park. If you're craving a nostalgic day filled with imagination, quirky charm, and woodland whimsy, the Enchanted Forest delivers. Go ahead-get ENCHANTED. You won't regret it. I wish I had taken more photos, but I was too engrossed to remember!

Google
This place exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly all throughout the park. The food was simple but hot and reasonably priced. I actually enjoyed the lack of sponsorships. Big companies weren't pushing their products and the kids really really enjoyed all the things to see. And there's enough rides for everyone to enjoy. The haunted house is really cool and unexpected. Can't wait to come back.

Google
One of the best! Intense walk in for older folks but this place is a pnw icon! Fun and creepy for adults and children alike! So much great and unintentionally creepy things to look at. A MUST SEE for every Oregonian.

Every year that we visit my parents in Oregon we go to Enchanted Forest. It's always clean, fun and the employees are kind. They have fun rides for the kids, it's not overpriced and you can even see a play and an Irish band, all included in the entrance fee. It's shaded through much of the park and beautiful with the trees and fauna.

Google
This place is so darn cute especially for young Grandkids. We took ours ages 3-8. Want to point out that you should be sure to see the shows. They are both definitely top notch. We also appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of all the mostly young employees. Great work everyone!

Google
We bought our tickets early, when we got there it said Ice mountain was closed so it was $5 off admission prices since we bought online they gave just $15 of ride tickets! Everything was super cute! My daughter loved going through and see all the different story book characters! The haunted house was awesome. I definitely recommend seeing the Jack and the Beanstalk comedy theater! It was super cute and funny! Our family had a great time!

Google
What a great place! Excellent for small children with plenty of food and drink options. Free parking was a nice surprise. The park pleasantly follows the terrain may be difficult for some people.

Yelp
Truly an enchanted place for kids. We've been there twice with the grandchildren and thoroughly enjoyed it both times. The staff are all just lovely and so patient with the little ones. It is built on a hillside with lots of shade. We got our exercise pushing the stroller loaded with water bottles, lunches, and snacks. Grounds are very clean as are restrooms. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This is a magical place that will transport you to your own childhood! Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, Humpty Dumpty.....it will all put a big smile on your face! The food prices here are limited, though reasonably priced. They do allow outside food for those with dietary restrictions. The staff is very warm and friendly and my son seemed to enjoy all the rides. The reason for deducting one star is that ticket entry is a bit steep because they charge you extra for each ride. That being said, it's still worth a trip to experience this enchanted place that truly lives up-to its name!

Yelp
Enchanted Forest is a fun experience for the entire family. Walk through the forest to encounter various characters from many children's stories. Rides for kiddos big and small. Ride tickets are sold seperate and cost $1 per ticket. Rides cost 3-5 tickets and any unused tickets can be bought back the same day. There are two large roller coasters; one is the water log and I recommend to bring a poncho. They sell them at the gift shop for $3 but I wish they'd go back to selling them in the actual line for convenience, or bring your own. The other roller coaster is fun but a bit short in my opinion. Age appropriate for kiddos 2-12. We spent about 4.5hours here. Free parking. Coffee and food on site. We just discovered they had a theatre and watched the live Jack and the Beanstalk performance and enjoyed the show.

Yelp
Enchanted Forrest is a cool, weird place with a rich interesting history. I love it here, but it's not for everyone. If you are expecting Disneyland or even a typical theme park experience you might be disappointed. It's really more of a homegrown family owned business with really cool art, based on fairy tales and amusement park rides. I highly reccomend it for younger kid families or college kids. But really it's a cool part of Oregon history worth checking out.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the enchanted forest, always have always will! The employees are usually nice&helpful and it's such a cute little gem! My little one calls it the fairy forest (I told her fairies live here!) definitely worth it!

Yelp
Enchanting day in the forest! We had a fantastic day, with some help from Enchanted Forest! While we were waiting at the top of the stairs in line for the bobsleds roller coaster, Rowan was overcome by dehydration, hunger and heat, and started to pass out. She was on the ground clinging to the railing and it was so scary. I yelled for help and to see if the ride attendants had any water for her. They immediately called a medic and two AMAZING and wonderful women showed up to help her, including Mary Tofte, the park manager and daughter of the man who built the Enchanted Forest. They checked her blood sugar and blood pressure, brought her some water, got her out of the sun and fed her some chicken tenders to get some protein into her. I am beyond grateful and Rowan was feeling better soon. After a rest and a relaxing ride through the Challenge of Mondor, the bobsleds let us jump the line and take a ride. It was so kind and really made our day a magical experience.

Yelp
Great great place for younger families. I thought it was a little expensive. Definitely wouldn't take teenagers here. They would be very disappointed. I took a group of Japanese high school students here and they loved it, but I don't think students from our area would think it's that great.

Yelp
I just recently found out about Enchanted Forest from friends of ours, and during a trip to Oregon we decided to all take our kids. This was one of the COOLEST experiences and worth every penny! The park is definitely older but so much fun. The work they've put into theming every spot is incredible - it almost feels like a mini Disneyland. Some parts made me feel like I was walking through the set of Lord of the Rings. My kids absolutely loved all the houses and fairytale-inspired areas they got to check out. I also got my six year old and (almost) four year old to go into the haunted house with me which they actually did really well with. There's a few jump scares but other than that it's very approachable for younger kids who are ready to brave a haunted house! The prices are definitely steep for admission, but I think it's 100% worth it as you can spend the entire day here and there's so much to see for people of all ages. We missed out on a couple of the rides and getting to check out the entire park because we had a four hour drive home, but we DEFINITELY plan on returning next summer as we want to see the whole place and this was sooo much cooler than we were expecting. If you're even slightly considering checking this place out, DO IT. You won't regret it!

Yelp
Quaint little park filled with charm and staffed by very nice people. It's no Disneyland, but it's great to experience a family owned park driven by passion as opposed to one spoiled by corporate meddling. Much of the staff is on the younger side, but were very pleasant and professional and seemed to genuinely enjoy being there, which is always a good sign. As a couple without kids, there wasn't much for my wife and I to do, but families with younger kids would definitely have a blast.

Yelp
i called the enchanted forest this morning to ask if they offer discounted tickets for foster children/families. First place I have come across in Oregon that doesn't. It is obvious that they care more about money than community. Very sad!!!!

Yelp
Such a cute amusement park!! Our grandkids had a blast. Prices were very reasonable, the food was good and cheap, the park was clean, and staff is very friendly. Some of the displays are not in working condition but overall good value and lots of good old fashioned fun!
google avatar

Jered S.

Yelp
We had a great experience. Our group varied in age from 5-50+ and everyone enjoyed themselves. Much less expensive than we expected. Instead of an outrageous entry price you buy tickets for the big attractions. $1 per ticket 5 tickets max (many less). Very friendly and helpful staff. It was the perfect afternoon stop.

Yelp
I haven't been here since some time in the 90s. I forgot how uphill a lot of the park is! I was overjoyed to hear my husband and youngin LOVED the park by the end of the day? We arrived just before opening to get situated for the hot summer day with a stroller to pack. For June, there were an excellent amount of snack/light drinks stops and places to eat that were open. So many places for kids to wonder and get excited! If you move too fast you will miss all the park has! We are already planning a second trip

Yelp
This is a really cool place, great for kids and those that are a kid at heart. It was really cool to walk around and see/ interact with storybook stories. Grabbed some food and souvenirs.

Yelp
Always a great time for friends, family, and littles!! I have been here multiple times since I was a child and the owners are quite nice as well. :)

Yelp
We've driven by Enchanted Forest thousands of times and finally made a stop. We're so glad we did! It was Saturday afternoon and the parking lot was packed.  There was an employee in a bright vest in the parking lot but thankfully,  we found a parking spot without asking for help.  We purchased tickets at the entrance and walked around. The ticket counter did not provide a map of the park. There are signs to point you to attractions. We were there for a couple of hours and saw plenty of the park. We followed the path, walked in and out of structures, went down slides, screamed at the Haunted House, rode bumper cars, and shot at targets at the Challenge of Mondor. We really wanted to do the Big Timber Log ride and the Ice Mountain Bobsled roller coaster; however, the lines were long and there was a sign saying it'd be a hour wait at that point in the line.  We ate churros that were reasonably priced. There is a snack bar with a bigger menu in the same building as the water show.  There were also live performances throughout the day.  The gift shop near the Haunted House played a video of the the park's history. Amazing story of a man's vision and creativity. The park allows outside food. Note: The park does not offer beer or alcohol. You can purchase advanced entry tickets online. Ride tickets are sold separately and there are height requirements for each ride. Highly recommend!

Yelp
What a whirlwind! The last leg of the tour was much lighter, more wholesome. However, the beginning of the tour were fairytale scenarios. The dolls were what my 6 year old called, "creepy." Have you seen the Mr. Rodger's Daniel Tiger puppets? Those kinds. My daughters were not fans but the paranormal fan in me was very curious. Thus, 3 stars for my experience. The food was actually cheap! Plus 1 for the food! My 9 year old daughter loved the car race and my 6 year old loved the bumper cars!
google avatar

Debra G.

Yelp
The park is well maintained and very friendly and helpful staff. We did not eat at the park but they do have picnic areas. Our great grandson enjoyed the kids rides. Next year he should be able to ride the other rides and we will bring him back. You do have to be able to walk up and down small hills through the storybook area We had a great time. I do recommend going early when we were leaving there were lines.

Yelp
It was so long ago since we visited the Enchanted Forest with the kids. It's a fun way to entertain the family on a Sunday drive. If you ever visit to Oregon City, Oregon visit The Enchanted Forest!
google avatar

Olivia S.

Yelp
Came here for a friend's birthday and had a wonderful day!!! It was the last day of the season and it was bustling! We got a free birthday pin and it was ready in 10 minutes. We loved the log ride and the dwarf cave. Will definitely be coming back again soon!
google avatar

Madeleine L.

Yelp
Really great place if you have younger kids; perfect for 2-5 for sure. Reasonable in terms of admission ($25 for adults, $22 for kids, under 2 is free), parking is free, and food is not super expensive (and I think you are allowed to bring in your own food. You pay extra for rides but there are plenty of free, cool slides (kiddos loved the shoe slide) if you are on a budget. Lush landscaping make it nice and cool on a hot day.
google avatar

Jerry C.

Yelp
Awesome place to take the kids. Seriously a historic part of Oregons history as well as a great family theme park. We went as a remembrance trip as we haven't been in years. Very clean and well organized.
google avatar

Ryan L.

Yelp
Very fun experience for the price! Definitely will be a good time for kids, there's a few rides for older folk as well but not too many. If you're considering going as an adult without kids or a family, might not be super fun unless you generally enjoy theme parks or the fairy tale settings. Sadly if you have a larger frame, some areas might actually be annoying to go through as well. Some of the castles or buildings you can walk through are very tight and even as someone small I had to shrug my shoulders a little bit. I'd try to go early as well, it got quite crowded! Overall, I'd recommend it if you're in the area, especially if you have a family!
google avatar

Korin S.

Yelp
A wonderful place to visit for all ages. So glad it stayed open. Bobsled and Log ride KICK ARSE!!!
google avatar

Yisel L.

Yelp
My kids had a blast here! Coming from LA this place really is unique and my kids had so much fun, definitely recommend coming here!
google avatar

Thomas S.

Yelp
It's camp. And that's a good thing! Hella good photo opportunities! Endless wacky backgrounds, all sorts of fairy tale ceramics and art! It even has live music! When we were there it was a lovely Irish band! Granny was elated

Yelp
An Oregon childhood tradition. There's nothing else like it. From Eugene, I went when I was a kid and enjoyed myself. I recently brought my own kiddo from near Seattle, and she had a blast. She talks about that day months later. The food options leave something to be desired, so pack a lunch, but you won't starve. Lots of walking, hills, and cobblestones --so unfortunately not super accessible. Skip the stroller if possible and bring a carrier instead. Star off for those two, but if you can--go.
google avatar

Jennifer N.

Yelp
We had a lot of fun at the Enchanted Forest. We especially enjoyed Storybook Lane which features many childhood stories/nurseries, each one unique. There's also a Western Town, an Old European Village, and some amusement parks for little kids and older kids/adults. We brought our own food as it was recommended on their website. There was plenty of places to lunch. I recommend EF to everyone!

Yelp
It makes you feel like a kid again even when you are old. There is story telling..There is rides like a roller coaster in a enchanted forest.. It's like Mother goose meets Mystery spot. There are so many things to do like family time spent well here. It feels like you're on the side of a mountain once yo walk through the doors..You walk through the trails to different mother goose stories like the woman who lived in the shoe..Which included a slide for everyone to slide down. There is Ice Mountain bobsled roller coaster, there is target shooting challenge.. There's bumber cars a walk through haunted house outdoor comedy theater in the summer months...and an amazing gift shop with so so many things to buy and cherish this event with your family definitely with the stop..

Yelp
Took my 7 year old twins to Enchanted Forest. Fairy tales are their favorite lately and the had a blast seeing all the fairy tale and Mother Goose displays. They also enjoyed some of the rides. Lots of walking outside was enjoyable too. Classic, retro park. I saw some cosplayers using all the great scenes for some amazing photos. Definitely worth a visit.

Denise M.

Yelp
A really fun place for kids! We really love the little fairy tale house trail. And we ESPECIALLY love that their ice cream shop was willing (twice now) to get a new clean scooper and new ice cream container for my daughter's allergy. They even let me read the label on the sherbet before they scooped. You have no idea how exciting it is for a kid with allergies to get an ice cream cone at an amusement park on a hot day :-) Thank you!
google avatar

Tina W.

Yelp
The $5 per ticket x multiple tickets per ride pricing makes this park a no-go for us. The park is heavy on theme, and light on rides. For older kids, the only real fun to be had will be the larger rides, and those cost an average of $10 each. This is in addition to your price of admission. I wouldn't go again unless they bring back the unlimited ride bracelets. Without them, the park simply isn't worth the price of the ticket(s).
google avatar

Jessica S.

Yelp
The rides are too expensive. They need to bring back the wristbands. Other than that it is great.
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
Fascinating place! Had a great time. Everyone there were so friendly! Log ride was part roller coaster and so unique. Super fun! The storybook lane was amazing! Next time I bring all my girls.. have them dress colorful & make a day of it. Cool caves! All So green & pretty.

Tasha S.

Yelp
Fantastic fun for all ages and at a reasonable price! Friendly staff. If mobility difficulties, may not want to visit.

Pedro L.

Yelp
A bit expensive but the kids had fun. Good food and snacks. Found out after that we could have saved money at the gate but it wasn't mentioned by the person taking our admission at the entrance. My family of 7 won't be back again. One and done.

Yelp
We're big Disney parks fans so we (the grownups) expected this to be mostly a diversion for our 5yo. Our whole group was pleasantly surprised! It was myself, my husband, my mother, my adult sister and my daughter. We all enjoyed the Snow White show and Irish band. Loved watching the 5yo do the kiddie rides and even enjoyed the big rides with her. Bring an extra change of clothes for the log ride! The Storybook trail and animatronics throughout the park are charming, even if they don't have the Disney polish. We brought our own snacks which worked out really well for us. We didn't buy any food there so I can't speak to the quality. I could see this park being tricky for people with mobility concerns. The paths are wide and paved, but almost all of them are on some kind of incline. The weather couldn't have been nicer though and even on a warmer day than we got, I think the trees would do a great job of keeping things on the cooler side. It's a great family outing for those with little ones, probably those ages 3-8 would have the best time. The worst part is the ride costs. I think it was worth the price of entry, but I hope they bring back the unlimited ride bands I've heard about. For three of us to ride a big ride one time was $15. I appreciate the operating costs, but I hope there's some way to make the rides more cost effective in the future.
google avatar

Lorraine B.

Yelp
Never disappoints! We 1st took our children there, then grandchildren many times. Our daughter celebrated her 5th birthday w/5 or 6 friends complete w/cupcakes, juice & gifts in the shade of the trees. It's a birthday Kristin remembers to this day! Enchanted Forest through the 50+ years has always lived up to his name!!

Stephen G.

Yelp
This place rules! Look, it's pretty small and very handmade, and my expectations were for a cute couple hours of novelty for the family, but I was honestly delighted from the moment we entered, and despite the 100 degree heat, we had a fantastic, full day of fun. The food is pretty good and very reasonably priced, the rides are fun and the lines were not terribly long, but truly, just exploring the place was worth the price of entry. It's quite impressive what this family has done to bring the enchanted forest to life, and I am so glad they have made it through the last couple years, with COVID and ice storms and family tragedy. Take the time to read their story at the museum. It was a privilege to spend the day here, and I will surely be back.

April H.

Yelp
Fun to take my younger family members, the kiddos love to see the characters and the rides, the Water/Light show is fun to watch, get your face painted and have some ice cream.
google avatar

Josh B.

Yelp
As always, a great experience. Enchanted Forest can nearly always be what one would expect: the Kmart version of Disneyland. However, it's much more than that. It is the vision of one local man, not a corporation. He transformed many, many acres into a family friendly recreational destination for folks of all ages. Be prepared for unruly kids running around screaming with little to no parental supervision. It's unfortunately just the way of society as of late. But, we had a blast. The roller coaster was thrilling and, although cramped for two full-sized adults, very fun. Be sure to check out the water light show. We even spotted Mr. Tofte navigating around the park in his motor scooter, checking on things. What a treat. Enchanted Forest is worth the price of admission and then some.
google avatar

Cameron B.

Yelp
Awesome! Fun for the whole family! Very clean (including the bathrooms) and everyone was helpful AF!
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
This place is a great place to take the kids on an outgoing there is a lot to do and see and it's fun and enjoyable. Though the rides are pretty expensive so be prepared to spend some money on your trip to enchanted forest!

Yelp
This beautiful theme park was just what I needed to bring a bit of magic to my weekend. A dear friend of mine visited me from Southern California. Over the years we've spent a lot of time at various theme parks across the US together. The Enchanted Forest delighted the both of us with its clean, organized and well themed atmosphere. The price of food and snacks didn't make us cringe and was quite tasty for the value. The park staff were friendly, the grounds well kept, and the entertainment and attractions well worth admission.
google avatar

Yelp
Some people told me this place was for kids and I won't like it. Nonsense! Yes it's for kids...and big kids that never really experienced the fun parts of childhood. Growing up I read a lot of fairytales, and to walk through a storybook town for me is the ultimate experience. I can't even put into words how at home I felt. I just wanted to crawl inside one of the cute little homes and make a life for me there haha. Enchanted forest offers so much from the fairytale setting, to music and rides. The best place to check out their offerings is on their website, because we did miss some stuff. I especially liked that there was a room with a video of the creator sharing his amazing story. He took a risk doing something no one else did. Apparently he hangs out there sometimes, how cool would it be to meet this brilliant creative man like another reviewer did! We missed out on the haunted house because I was too chicken. After a long wait in line, I got off the bobsled roller coaster because I felt claustrophobic. The log ride was not a closed off ride like the bobsled, it was open on top. But the ride itself was closed. Still, I would have been a chicken there too most likely anyway, see a pattern? So I can't comment on those. But we did the mondor and bumper cars, though they were in fact for little kiddos, so I'd skip them next time. The slanted house was crazy, you will get temporary vestibular problems. And the maze house was pretty trippy too. I definitely recommend coming to even just walk around inside a fairytale book, that was the best part ! I think the pics speak for themselves of this magical place :) I'm sorry their blurry. I will stop leaving my phone in the car and relying on others photo taking abilities lol.
google avatar

Shawna M.

Yelp
Very fun for small children. Seems a bit run down though. Wish there were fun characters walking around my daughter could take photos with. She loved the Ferris wheel and train ride.
google avatar

Shon K.

Yelp
This spot has been around since I was a wee lad, not that it was THAT long ago but still, it has been around a while. Is it dated, sure but is it fun - YES! Fairy tale themes abound with the various attractions at the Forest and no doubt the entire family will find something to enjoy. It would wager that the perception structures were pretty cutting edge when they were initially built and still hold up to this day. Walking into a "house" and how it is built and painted tricks you into thinking it is tilted or shrinking, how fun. Anyway, take the kids, enjoy the day away from the stresses of city life.
google avatar

JasonandKaela L.

Yelp
So fun to take my kids here after having gone as a kid. I was shocked to see how well the park has been maintained. It's clean, well maintained, the staff are helpful and professional, and the nostalgia is 100%. Definitely would take my kids here again and hope it's around someday for them to take their kids.

Yelp
We absolutely loved this place last year summer 2021. A surprise & a hidden gem! Much cooler than I was expecting. This place is interesting, creative and fun for the whole family. We are now heading back for a second trip, to go again with more family. Bring your lunch! No food at the park.
