"Since 2010, Berkeley-based EnChroma has produced and sold glasses that enhance visible colors (with varying results) for 4 out of 5 people with red-green color blindness, experienced by 8% of men and 0.5% of women globally. Through its Color Accessibility Program, EnChroma matches purchases one-for-one when the buyer intends to make the glasses free for the public to borrow. More than 400 organizations, including more than 100 museums, now participate. Color-blind travelers may also encounter the patented tech on their next trip: EnChroma has developed specialized snorkel masks for Seaside Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives resort, for example, and as of July 2024, specially adapted scenic viewfinders have been installed across the Virginia State Parks system."

I am happy with the lenses, not with the customer service. My frames broke by themselves after only one year of use. I sent an email to the support and they replied asking me some information, which I provided right away. No answer for a week after my reply and after two emails sent from me to know what was the status of my demand. I brought my lenses to a local optician that found me another frame to mount them, after cutting them to the right dimensions. I choose Ray-Ban, which seem of much better quality than the En-Chroma frame. Given that I live outside the US and given the cost of the product, I would have appreciated: - not to be ignored by the customer service (at least inform me if my demand was in progress, which is the minimum). No answer for a week is a bit long, as glasses are a product of daily use! - offer better service for repair. It seems that we need to send you the glasses TO THE US for repair (not sure 100% about that, as I did not get an answer to my email) which is totally not adapted to your customers in Europe (too expensive and too much delay). You should get a repair service in Europe or send the broken elements for repairing the glasses (I would have paid for that). It's a shame to have such a good product (lenses) but such a poor repair/customer service.

I got a pair of glasses from them about a year or two ago from my girlfriend. They barely did anything, but I didn't return it. I found out that the glasses were the wrong kind of colorblind glasses recently and decided to contact the customer service to see about getting a replacement. They said they could switch the glasses for $150. Before I sent them the money they answered promptly to any emails I had. Ever since I paid them and sent in my glass I have heard nothing from them. They have ignored all of my emails and it has been almost 6 weeks since I mailed out my glasses. They said it would only take 2 weeks once they got them and their repair shop is in the same town I live in so it should have been here weeks ago. Edit: I finally got a hold of them and they told me that they forgot to update the system when they received the glasses. Then I find out that they are all out of stock of the frames I wanted, so now I need to try to get a refund.

Enchroma does honor their money back guarantee. I bought the medium strength glasses and they did not work. The call representative suggested I get store credit and purchase the stronger glasses, so I did. Unfortunately, the glasses didn’t work for me either. Their customer service was great each step of the way though and refunded me promptly. I hope these glasses will work for other folks! I love the style and design. They definitely feel like they are high quality.

I have a strong Protan color vision defect. I knew this both from past color vision tests and from the one on their website. I purchased their outdoor sunglasses with my vision prescription. When wearing them, greens are much intense/saturated and easier to identify as green. I don't confuse green with other colors nearly as much as I did. Reds are not as dramatically improved and still seem somewhat darker than other colors. They got my glasses prescription right, so now I don't have to choose between regular sunglasses and reading glasses when outdoors. Overall, I would call the glasses very helpful for improving my color vision.

Attempted to buy some glasses from them, but they kept cancelling my order, no explanation. I emailed and asked why - eventually the got around to responding, saying that they thought I was committing fraud with my transaction. Would have been nice to do business with them, but they couldn't be bothered to make the slightest effort to straighten things out.

Not only have the glasses been awesome to own and wear, the designs and quality are excellent. Most importantly, their Customer Service team, and in particular Belle, the CS Manager, were the best to work with when I had questions and recently needed support. Thank you!

Scam products. I hope anyone involved including social media influencers paid for the staged act will be part of the lawsuit and punished by applicable law. It's mind boggling the greed of these companies.

I was a bit hesitant to spend $350.00 on sunglasses for my 16 year old son, who is not always the most responsible individual I know. However, his reaction tonight was priceless and I wished I had filmed it. He walked around the house in tears and has said over and over that he never knew things looked this way. He also said, "This may just be the best day of my life." Now if I can only get him to be responsible with them, I'll be completely happy!
