"Encore Family Karaoke, founded in 1999, was an integral part of the Korean community in Dallas. Jin Shin, a regular patron, took over the business after the original owner passed away. He made adjustments to cater to a wider audience while preserving its legacy. Encore Family Karaoke serves as a cultural space where people learn about Korean culture and remains a significant part of old Koreatown in the Garland neighborhood of Dallas."

The people are very helpful and friendly. The song selection was ok. There were lots of songs we looked for and didn't find. The ones we did find were versions of the song but not the original score ( I'm assuming due to copyright laws). All in all, we had fun.

This place isn’t bad. If it’s your first time doing karaoke you’ll enjoy it! But I will say I’ve been to several spots better than this one in the area. It’s cute inside! I enjoyed see the Yoda on the DJ booth and the huge screen when you walk in. There’s a bar & a small seating and dance area. The karaoke rooms were colorful and had a nice vibe to it. I didn’t enjoy the outdated karaoke equipment, you have to use a huge remote that worked sometimes if you point it a certain way lol The music selection wasn’t bad but definitely outdated. The food was not good in my opinion, the Ramen lacked flavor. The servers were quick and friendly. Overall this place is fine for family and friends but I don’t have any interest in returning.

First time here, nice place lots of private karaoke rooms available but service is lacking. Not sure if they were understaffed but lacking. Bartenders had attitude and didn’t pay attention to customers coming to the bar. Then had an attitude when being helped. Went into the room, which is nice, but pushed the button for service as they tell you to do but they don’t come but when you go to the bar all the bartenders are laughing and hanging out. When you’re standing at the bar for help they do not acknowledge you which is rude. Great place for karaoke fun but check your servers and bartenders.

Google
I loved the room we got and the portion sizes of food were rather large which I did not know about. Definitely too much for my kids to eat by themselves. It seems they're meant to be shared at least amongst two people. But we had fun and the time flew by!

Google
I loved it. I got the large room and this was the cheapest I saw at the time for the size room I got, and also recommended by a friend. It used a computer that you could search up songs and add them to a Playlist. It had every song i searched so I believe it's a good and varied selection. I don't know if every room was like this, so definitely ask ahead of time. The drinks were good and the food was decent, but a little pricy. There is a middle bar area with tables and music with videos playing where we could linger a bit after our rental time was up, which was nice. We went when it wasn't busy at all, so the staff was attentive and quick with our orders and helping us out. You do have to leave a card at the bar before you go into your rental with the microphones, and have to return them to get it back and pay, which I didn't find issue with. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely go again.

Samuel Marroquin

Google
The music does not have a wide selection or up to date songs. Majority of everything we searched for was not in the system. This place is pricier than most for not having up to date music. The room was hot, they had a fan on a table to try to keep it cool and the couches were so torn, they were held together by duct tape. Note, don't wear a skirt or dress cause it's gonna hurt to sit there 😭 we did the hour and left to Round 1 where 2 hours were the price of 1 here.

Hilarious!! Great time!!! Also if you order there large room it has the YouTube hook in, def would do that next time, more options that way!!

Google
Great place for private room rental! The computer system for selecting songs was easy to use. Wide variety to choose from and there were multiple tvs in the room so everyone could enjoy without having to move about the room. Seats were large leather sofas and super comfortable as well. Bar provided quick and friendly service as well!

Cindy N.

Yelp
Had lots of fun! We had a room of 12 people and it was $35/hr. The staff was super friendly and the rooms had lots of AC/air circulation which I appreciate! We drank lots of Soju but me and my friends enjoyed our time there. We didn't have an issue with requesting new songs (NewJeans were on there!) and old songs. Also, if you ask how to use the machine, it's super simple to understand the karaoke machine. :)

Tim X.

Yelp
Room rate is fair $29/hour. Spacious room. Couches and chairs were old and beaten up. The song book was ancient. Staff were nice and attentive. Fair spot.

Yelp
Expensive for what is... In a weird part of town and sketchy.. unlike most karaoke bars.. this was not BYOB.. the bar was super expensive with hardly any liquor in the drinks... won't be going back.. Service was no where to be found.

Goodness I.

Yelp
Had fun here celebrating a friends birthday. There is pretty good selection of songs (minus some major artists, but ya can't win them all). Food was pretty good, but expensive with minimal selection. Service was quick and staff was friendly. Our room was very warm despite us asking to cool the room. The hallway outside our room was cold and unfortunately we were all sweating the whole night."

Jenny H.

Yelp
Rooms were $37/h now. The space was clean and service was prompt. Good song list, and the machine had buttons in English. We also thought the scoring system was a fun additional touch. (Felt like I was on a Korean variety show, hah!) We reserved two hours ahead of time which was plenty of time for our group of eight. Great drink selection with lots of tasty flavored soju options. Ample parking even on a Saturday evening. All in all, a pretty decent spot. Edit: So saddened to hear about the owner's recent death. There's a GoFundMe for the family.

Dianna J.

Yelp
The personal karoke rooms are nice. However, the food was fried too hard and they have a limited selection of songs. On the expensive side and had to go find someone to help with the equipment, order, etc. Overall, it was OK.

Lianna G.

Yelp
They have a full bar and have nice drinks, spacious private rooms and even a food menu. My friend ordered ramen and said it was the worst ramen she's ever had and it quite literally looked like it came out of a Maruchan bag. So food is a no-go here, you're better off ordering drinks and grabbing something to eat before or afterwards. The service was nice though, but another downside would be the lack of songs that they have.

Camellia M.

Yelp
This place is a vibe, great drinks, nice rooms. Only reason why I could only give 3 stars is due to the song selection. I had not been here in years but the song selection is still the same just with updated equipment. Please update the songs.

Yolanda W.

Yelp
I had my 50th birthday party here on October 22, 2022 and we has a blast with the room and doing karaoke but the food was horrible. I wish they would have let us bring in it own food for certain occasions because they still would have made there money on drinks and room rates/ Again the drinks and karaoke was so much fun. But very disappointed in the food and cost and my party was over 30 people we bought a lot in the 3 hours we where there. Please change the food policy or get better food.

Devaneé T.

Yelp
Karaoke made fun! Was here for a reunion and everyone had a blast! If you're ever in the area definitely stop by! Friendly staff. Food is great too!

Melody R.

Yelp
First time here & had a blast. If you like or love lol karaoke then you need to try this place. Great for parties or a group of friends getting together for a fun night. Drinks & food were amazing!! They did let us have a birthdate cake but no other food/drinks are allowed. Go have some fun!!!

Kelly S.

Yelp
Visited here last night and we had so much fun! We had issues with mics dying a couple times- we were there for 2 hours. It was super fun. We ordered a few drinks and snacks. I wish they had a bigger selection of songs but we had fun. Will come here again.

Yelp
Somehow I've arrived at this point of my life having never done karaoke. After singing in bands for decades it seemed like "Why would this be fun?" But, I gotta say we had a BLAST at family karaoke! Nestled on Goodnight Dr., just off a seedier stretch of 35W and not far from King Spa, the neighborhood vibe was a little creepy. I don't think I would ever have accidentally passed by it and thought, "Hey we should try that place." But once inside the bar area was wide open with a small stage, lights, and a perimeter of private rooms. Our group had rented one of these and I was surprised how isolated the sound was once inside. We sat on a ring of comfy couches with coffee tables in the middle. Two screens displayed lyrics and a remote control provided access to the extensive library of karaoke tracks. Push the red button and someone from the bar comes in to take orders. We ate, drank, and sang for 3-4 hours, including a new drink named Soju that was like a cider that you shoot. The abv seemed lowish and it was sweet and part of the experience of Korean karaoke. Goofy friend with crappy voice started the night with freaking Don't Stop Believing and deeSTROYED it haha. After that we were all pretty much like "I know I can't suck THAT bad and it was funny anyway." Props for breaking the ice by being the easy act to follow. I went for Cruise by FGL, Walk This Way by Aerosmith (much harder than I thought haha), I Want It That Way with goofy crappy singer friend haha. And gf and I did Beauty And The Beast and man, I'm no Peabo Bryson. There were only a small number of tracks that we couldn't find in the library. Bar response was quick and prices about what we expected. My only complaint is that I asked for some ice water at the (completely empty) bar and she told me I had to buy a bottled water, which is against the law (TABC). I pressed it cuz WTF, and she relented and handed me one of the 10,000 glasses stacked directly in front of me on the bar and poured some water in it from the tap for me. Despite that, a very positive experience!!

Yelp
I brought a few friends here to finish off our trip to Dallas. None of us had ever been to private-room karaoke before, but I think this was a great introduction! The workers were friendly and told us everything we needed to know. They didn't have EVERY song we wanted to sing, but we definitely did not get bored during our 2 hours. To top it off, the prices were very reasonable. If I ever come back to Dallas, I will come here again!

Chad K.

Yelp
Great place to enjoy some karaoke with family and friends or you can simply hang out in the main lobby area and sing there with no fee and enjoy some food and drinks. If on a budget I recommend that option but if you want your night to be more of a friend or family kind of night or celebrating a birthday/special occasion and want a private room I'd go that route. Overall place was amazing with lots of parking and they're open until 2am so you can sing your lungs out singing until the early morning. Haha! Staff here has great customer service and atmosphere here is very welcoming. Highly recommend if your trying to find a great place to have some fun and in the mood to sing.

Kasey C.

Yelp
Great place for my teens birthday party! They were very accommodating and the kids loved everything about the party.

Dennis C.

Yelp
The owner is Jin and is a Veteran that keeps this place running with his close knit staff. They've truly been like family. Unlike some generic unknown reviews let me tell you about what I specific like about this place along with some of my "meh" to make it fair. Pros: VERY affordable rooms, friendly staff, and always have some sort of theme or special going on. They do check and throw out drunkards causing trouble for patrons. Meh: Opportunities to improve is to pressure wash their outside, and repair the parking lot. I almost feel I need a 4x4 so my tires aren't slipping and a sliding.

Rebecca H.

Yelp
The night started off great. I emailed them around noon to reserve a private room for 6 people on a Saturday night, they got back to me after they opened and told me they'd save us a room. Fast forward to getting there. They start your timer AT THE DOOR with the bouncer, but proceed to tell you to check in at the bar. The bar was PACKED and a bartender didn't get to us until 15 mins later. We didn't find out the timer situation until 2 hours later when they are kicking us out. NO ONE mentioned the 2 hr max. Not on the website, not the guy at the door, not the waitress taking us to the room and setting us up, NO ONE until we stopped receiving drink service and had to go out there to ask. They basically told us they are busy and we have to leave. Servers were nice until they straight up stop serving you until you get up and start asking around. It was poorly managed. Make sure you only intend on spending 2 hrs there and keep track of when you walk in the door to the building, NOT the room, they won't tell you.

Sakina R.

Yelp
Super fun if you want a private room for karaoke - it's no frills, but the service is good and it's a great time.

James P.

Yelp
My favorite karaoke place. All my friends go here. They have a main area with a bar if singing in a private room isn't your thing. It's fully equipped with the usual liquor choices or soju if you want to try something different. The kitchen has the usual finger food and well as Korean options. Nowadays during Covid, the pricing has been ridiculously good. They had like $2 or $3 kimchi fried rice at one point. Now I think it's drink specials like $5 Crown and down. If you want to get something else, they will let you get Dansungsa who's down the street to deliver to you.

Nicolette Y.

Yelp
If you haven't been here stop everything you're doing and go right now. I was first introduced to family karaoke back in high school and still love it so much that I take my 14-year-old and eight-year-old daughters to go for random karaoke day parties. Kindest staff you'll ever meet, they absolutely treat you like family and anything they can do to accommodate your requests within reason of course, they will try their best. Great great value for the rooms and equipment provided as well as the time you can rent the rooms and different sizing options for rooms depending upon how many in your party. Professional grade sound quality, and I would know because I'm a singer singer and my dad runs a sound business on the side as well so for karaoke, this place is where it's at. But don't take my word for it, get your butt up there! (: *tell them Nicolette sent you for a discount on your first visit *

Soh H.

Yelp
I don't recommend this place solely because of the owner. The owner is very hostile to customers and staff. It was very awkward seeing him publicly yell at his employees over some mistake they made. Then also some guests. Very unprofessional. I feel for the staff.

Thanh W.

Yelp
My family has been coming here , I think before we even had kids & now even 13 years later, we are bringing our kids for their birthdays and celebrating all family events we can think of, the manager or owner is always over the top accommodating. Food is piping hot and good variety for a karaoke place. We will forever patronize this place, a very special place, and holds many silly fun filled memories for us. The more, the merrier, for sure.

Damiana D.

Yelp
It was a pretty fun experience, but everything was just disorganized. I had a group of four friends get a private room, which took forever to even get because you have to book it at the bar and half the time you would be ignored. When we finally got the room random employees would come in one was trying to give us another persons card and the other brought in food for someone who wasn't in our room. Trying to pay was chaotic too and many people in the main room were not wearing masks despite there being a sign requiring them to.

Sarrang P.

Yelp
First time here and there was a special going on with 5 dollar sojus and some kpop night. I think they do lots of events like this and its always popping with people on those days. The MC is funny and the dj is pretty decent. Its an open area with high tables and booths all around and has a stage up front. I guess the karoke rooms are in the back somewhere. Its not a bad place to come out at night but the location is in a bit of a shady place so be careful when you drive. Also it seemed to be filled with more younger people so may not be too fun for older people!

Ty J.

Yelp
It was fun because of my friends, we rented a room for Christmas party. The music selection for R&B, Rap, Hip Hop, Soul is VERY LIMITED. We made the best with what they had. Afterwards, they were playing music in the open bar area that was good for a little pre-gaming. The service was good at the bar. The waitress was fine. The drinks were great and moderately priced. Id go again, if someone invited me but it wouldnt be my top choice for karaoke.

Xiao Z.

Yelp
Call it what you will, but karaoke requires only two things, music and friends. While I'm biased towards smaller venues, I can say that Family Karaoke caters for both brave and shy singers alike. The place is huge, with a large screen TV in the front and multiple screens near the back of the room (around the bar) where the lyrics will show up. Despite the traditional laminated music binders, the DJ will have access to pretty much any music in today's market. Given my group of 30+ friends showed up all of a sudden, we decided to set roots in the main lobby. I will say that this place was a little understaffed, because the DJ was both the bartender and the music-manager, and despite the initial warning, we still had to wait 40 minutes before we could start singing. But after the dust settled, we had a lot of fun! Overall, this was a great spot, the drinks were decently priced, and the DJ very friendly. I strongly recommend tipping your DJ, as it can sometimes boost your music selection up the chain. Come over and check it out! Oh yeah, the private rooms looked really clean and reminded me of the karaoke places in China.

Liz A.

Yelp
This was my first time going to a karaoke place that had private rooms, and I had the time of my life! We stayed for a couple hours, and I definitely wore my throat out from all the singing, but it was totally worth it! I'm super glad we decided to stop in while on our trip if I'm ever in Dallas again in the future, I'll be coming back with some friends for sure!

Sarah A.

Yelp
Went there yesterday for my friends birthday party. Music selection was fairly good, equipment worked, my friends enjoyed their food and the ladies who were our servers did a great job. What made this review a two star was what happened towards the end of the night. My girls and I were on our way out when a rude staff member took my water bottle out of my purse when I went to get the celebrants belongings from the karaoke room. When I was bringing the stuff out I saw my water bottle next to the entrance on the table. I took it from the table and walked back to my friends. Then the rude staff member walked up to me snatched my water bottle out of my hand and began yelling at me telling me "water bottles" are not allowed and it has to stay with him. I explained to him that when I arrived at 8pm nobody explained to me that I could not bring my water bottle and that it's only water inside. Nor is there any visible signs saying that you can't bring your water bottle inside. I told him we were soon leaving and took my water bottle back from him and went over to my friends to explain the situation. Even after I told him that I understood the rules he continued to harass my friends and I. I later found out that he yelled at my friend who was the celebrant and also 7 months pregnant about bring water. It was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. It was our first time there and he turned our experience from sweet to completely sour.

Veronica H.

Yelp
If I could rate this place lower than a one I would. They have hidden rules. The playlist was not current and lacked popular songs. In addition the playlist was predominantly written in Asian descent. After rushing food and drink orders to ensure their money was made we were told we had to leave because other WALK-IN's had abnormally began to show so they had to place a cap on the amount of time each room is used. But when making the RESERVATION (which was made in advance) this was never disclosed. The manager expressed no remorse for our concerns and made no accommodations. Just closed out or tab with little to no eye contact. HORRIBLE service. Totally contradicting their statement of friendly family fun. This was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!

Amber M.

Yelp
Came here with family and friends. Reservations was made Manger Josh didn't explain to the party that there was a time limit. Not many R&B selection , no ac in rooms 1 out of 5

Kial M.

Yelp
Website and hours listed as open on Tuesdays. Drove all the way here to find it closed. Be sure to call and not trust the website or Yelp listing for hours of operation.

Alli L.

Yelp
Been coming here for about.. 3.5 years now ever since my boyfriend and I moved here from Cali. We've gotten to know the owner, Jin, pretty well along with Chi (cute bartender ^__^). Ooh the kimchi fries are fucking bomb. Haven't tried the bulgogi one yet- maybe later. Pretty drunk and my boyfriend is being annoying (singing/screaming in my ear) and so I guess I should end this review. :D :D

Lauren K.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Family Karaoke!! Came here with some classmates and rented a room on a Friday night. They have a great selection at the bar and we were pleasantly surprised at the food options, too- though let's be honest- that's not why you come here. :p Fantastic song selection and plenty of mics and ridiculous sound effects to go around. What made our trip top notch though was the service- Seriously! These guys are beyond wonderful. Everyone from the bartenders to management was incredible. We will definitely be back!!!

Shalise G.

Yelp
If you don't enjoy doing karaoke in fronts of strangers, rent a room out and just do it in front of your friends. Unsure of the costs as I was just invited here, but overall was a good time. Pros: Private room Waitress comes to get drink/food orders 2 microphones Can control songs on a keypad like device Parking lot Cons: Service is slow Buttons on the keypad were dying Furniture was pretty worn/out dated Chicken looked like it was full of steroids Service was extremely slow in regards to drinks

david d.

Yelp
Best place ......ever!!! Doesn't matter what race you are ....everyone is treated equally!!! I'm Asian....and I've seen it all!! Door guys who are better than bouncerS?!? Music selection better than all others!!? Come here! Enough said!!!!!!

Yelp
All good things must come to an end. I regretfully have to end my relationship with Family Karaoke as of this past weekend. It was a good run while it lasted, almost 10 years long with many fond memories... :( Before coming here, we stopped by No.1 Plus Chicken across the street, with the intention of chowing down on some fried chicken THERE. Unfortunately, they only take to-go orders after 1:30am. We made it just in time to get some to go. We could have eaten it in their parking lot, but decided to go straight to Family Karaoke to put our name down (I called ahead to make reservation, but was told it's first come first serve), worrying it'd be too crowded since it was Saturday night after all. To my surprise, the parking lot was near empty when we got there with only 5-6 cars altogether. We decided to just eat the chicken real quick outside knowing we would not be allowed to bring food inside. About 5mins after we took the box of chicken out, putting it on top of my car, and making sure to keep all the bones inside the box, someone who works there came out, started yelling at us about trashing the parking lot and how we were not supposed to eat in their parking lot. They must have had people eating and trashing the parking lot quite often, so it's understandable that they don't want to see that happen again. Maybe a big sign "No Eating Allowed in the Parking Lot" would help. We finished up in a hurry and threw all the trash back into my car, since we couldn't find a nearby trash can. Walking inside to the counter to reserve a room, we were rudely told, along with a big bonus of attitude, they can't give us a room. Reasons? "You guys were eating and trashing the parking lot". Mind you, we made sure to collect all of our trash, didn't even spit out anything on the ground. Not only we were accused of littering, we were treated with unnecessary attitude. We should have left right there and then, but it was getting late, and we were in the mood to sing our hearts out, so we stayed after we told them they could go outside and check to see that we didn't leave any trash. Weren't in such good mood anymore, we only stayed for merely an hour. Went to pay and found out we were put in a medium room for 4 of us (a small room can fit up to 5), when there were probably just 2 other rooms being occupied max. I kept coming back to Family Karaoke for their nice sound quality and especially when I have many good memories here with friends. After that night, it's not worth it for me to put away my pride to come back here again, especially when there are other Korean karaoke places not far from here.

Tricia C.

Yelp
There are two types of people who like karaoke: those who like singing in front of a bunch of strangers, and those who like singing in front of their friends. Family is easily my favorite karaoke place in Dallas because they accommodate both. When you walk in, you see the bar, a bunch of tables, and the main stage. Anybody can sing on the stage, or they have DJ's some nights. They've got like a dozen private rooms as well, of various sizes. On popular nights it can be a long wait so reservations are recommended, but in the meantime you can sing on the main stage! As far as the bar/kitchen goes, the prices are really reasonable for drinks with lots of specials. The food is definitely drunk food because it's a lot of fried stuff, but it's so good. I pretty much always get the chicken tenders, fries, and dumplings. I have been going to Family forever and honestly am not sure how I've never reviewed it before. I even had my birthday party there last year! Anyway, I gotta go now and work on my Bon Jovi. See ya on the mic!

Sonal G.

Yelp
Was here for my birthday last January and came again spontaneously on a Saturday evening around 6 pm. We were trying to compare prices between different karaoke spots in the area, and this place was comparable to the others at around $29/hour. It's unfortunate that all the places in the area are relatively pricey. They have nice rooms that are clean and do not look worn, with some cool lights in the room too. Good quality microphones and they also provide a tambourine! They have a pretty updated song list with a short list of new songs they update every month or so it seems which was exciting to see. Also a fun public karaoke area for drinks and such. Would come again for sure, just wish it wasn't so pricey!

Savanh S.

Yelp
I haven't had a bad experience here. Just came here a few weeks ago with a group of friends. Before that it's been a while, I used to come here in my a lot younger days . Great memories here. I think the best way to karaoke is here , you can rent your room by the hour, and just sing in front and with your own group. Without having to wait your turn for long time with other strangers . The drinks are reasonably price. If you decide you want to take a break from singing you can step out to the bar , get a drink. They also have a Dj. Last time I was here he was playing a lot of hip hop music. That music , not really my cup of tea. Still had fun doing a little bit of dancing. At the point it didn't matter, as long as I was with a great group . I can't really say much about the food, I didn't really look at their menu or ate their food. My friends invited me and got there way before. They ordered bar food , and finger foods. It was pretty decent. I would come back .

Kristie A.

Yelp
This was the most fun I had on a Thursday in a while. I was 100% positive I wasn't going to sing since my voice is awful, but there's something about being locked away in a room with your close friends that let your inhibitions down. I grabbed the mic as soon as the music started playing. There are a ton of songs to choose from and they have a song book so you can look up what song you want to sing. The room fee was pretty cheap split among friends. They have a full bar too!

Hannah H.

Yelp
This is a great spot if you want to go karaoke with friends but in a private setting. We here with a group of 12 friends and we had a private karaoke room. You could choose your own songs and there was two mics. The song selection was fine. We didn't feel limited at all. Drink prices were good. We stuck to mainly the buckets of beer. We didn't order any food, but seemed like they a wide variety of fries and bar food. Didn't see anyone eating any of the food. Would probably recommend eating before coming.

Tasha J.

Yelp
OMG...It has been years since I had been here but I recently booked again for my birthday and what a awesome time I had. The customer service was awesome, staff was awesome and the experience could have only been better with hookah! lol Thanks so much for a great time and I will be back!

Lashonda M.

Yelp
It's fun. I didn't try the food. Went with a group of friends we sang our hearts away. I do like the music selection. The main floor always seem so empty.

Yelp
A group of 4 of us recently came here to enjoy a night of singing! Unfortunately, not our favorite karaoke experience. We had multiple problems with our sound system. At first, the mics were not audible at all. After three rounds of "fixing" the mic volume, including one instance with a ladder & power drill (!!?!), the microphones were finally at a volume where we could hear them, but still no where near the normal volumes I've come to expect from a karaoke venue. The songbook was incredibly disorganized. The "organized by artist" section had complete pages missing or out of order, for example, Michael Jackson songs trailed from one page to the next, but the next page was several pages ahead (?) of the existing page. Also, we found songs in the "organized by song" section that were not listed in the "artist" section at all. Finally, we weren't exactly happy with the selection of songs available. It was missing a lot of my favorite tracks for karaoke and was not stocked with some of the more recent popular tunes. The lyric display only showed 2 lines at a time and was slightly delayed, which wasn't a problem if you knew the song well or if the song was a bit slower. But for faster pace songs it became an issue, and on rap songs it was damn near impossible to sing along because the lyrics basically blinked on the screen and you couldn't anticipate the next line. Also, the remote control to enter songs required a training session at the beginning and was simply clunky. We were placed in a medium sized room and charged as such even though I had specifically asked for and reserved a small room. Saving this review from a 1 star: the rooms were clean, nice, and comfortable. Our server was very friendly and prompt, and there was a decent variety of drinks to chose from. However, I think we're going to try other karaoke places before we think about coming back to Family Karaoke.

Yelp
This place was okay. I mean it was different. I've never done group karaoke before so this was a new experience for me. The bartenders were really nice, but the drinks weren't all that. We ended up just taking shots for most of the night lol. The food was also average. I mean it wasn't the best, but I didn't really expect too much. We had wings and shrimp. Like I said average. Then when we got to the karaoke room it was a little dated, and the couches were very worn. Other than that the overall karaoke experience was actually unforgettable. I had a lot of fun!
