Endlich is one of those places that completely sneaks up on you, in the best way possible.
At first, I was a bit skeptical: a fine dining restaurant with “just” a three-course menu? Sounded like I might leave hungry. Spoiler: I did not. Not even close. It turned into one of my favorite dining experiences ever, and I’ve been to more expensive Michelin-star places before.
What makes Endlich special starts right from the beginning. There’s only one seating per evening, so everyone meets at the same time. You gather at the bar around 7, have a drink, and then move together into the dining room. From the get-go, it feels more like being invited into someone’s home than going to a restaurant.
The atmosphere is beautiful, super cozy, stylish, and full of little details. You can really feel the love that’s been put into the space. Nothing stiff or overly posh, just warm, welcoming, and relaxed yet very elegant.
Henrik and Henriette are incredible hosts. Genuinely kind, funny, and attentive without hovering. It honestly felt like dining at their house. What started as a mellow, loungy fine dining vibe slowly turned into one big, happy family table, suddenly everyone was chatting with their neighbors. Super fun, super special.
The food? Exceptional. There’s a surprise element because the menu depends on what the chef gets fresh from local suppliers that very same day. You can taste that everything is top quality. Every dish was explained with so much passion and attention to detail, it made the whole experience even better.
Worth every cent. 100%.
I wish I could afford to eat here every day, but realistically this will be a “once a month treat” for me, and I’m already looking forward to the next visit.
If you’re even thinking about going: do it. Endlich is something really special
