Enebla Ethiopian Restaurant

We decided to try Enebla for the first time and were not disappointed. We ordered tibs and veggie combo for takeout. It was delicious, and a lot of food for the price. We'll definitely add it to our rotation of Ethiopian restaurants. Update: We went back for lunch and were not disappointed.

The restaurant catered our wedding, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Our guests told about the delicious flavors and presentation. Thank you for making our special day even more memorable thanks enbela.highly recommended to events!

To be honest, the food is pretty good. But… 1. Service is non-existing. My baby dropped some juice on the floor and I can’t get anyone , so I had to go to the bathroom and get toilet papers and clean it up myself. 2. I told the waiter that I don’t eat spicy food and the food was so spicy I can’t eat it. 3. Food was decent though, I might go there again for the food and put up with the non-existing service.

The food is Delicious. However the place is closed. I was so surprised when I got there it had brown paper over the windows and door. There were some people outside eating pastries and coffee that stated maybe she will open back up in a few months. However it was no sign stating this.

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the dry tibs in enebla Ethiopian restaurant.I had dry tibs with the side of collard greens,with mitmita powder Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want ethiopian flavored tibs.

Good food. Ordered Delivery and they have very generous portions. The veggie combo was great, although it did come cold. The beef tibs were okay, but they were very saucy and had been cooked with onions and tomatoes. most beef tibs have peppers. This wasn’t a bad thing tho, just different that what I had before. Both dishes had enough for atleast two people. They gave plenty injera, 2-3 extra pieces. Would order again.

Wow! This place is AMAZING! I lucked out staying nearby at the Holiday Inn and looking up "food near me". The establishment is bright and inviting. They have a cooler of beverage selections to pair with the BEST food. I got the delicious Tibs. The staff was prompt, courteous, and accurate. Please go support this local gem. Also, if you want FAST authentic cuisine, my food was ready in 15 minutes, hot and fresh.

DE-LICIOUS! Really great food, injera was fresh and soft. We had the tibs fitfit with veggie combo and we were well fed. Portions were amazing, especially after a long snowshoe morning hike. Coffee was superb. Photo is our leftovers!

Wonderful food and service! We shared 1. 'Doro Wot (Spicy)', 8. Special Kitfo, and 13. 'Vegy Combo'. Everything was so well-seasoned, cooked, and presented. The owners provided great service!

This takeaway joint has cozy seating indoors (and saw seating outdoors as well). Near the register they sell items found in typical Ethiopian markets. The staff member taking my order was very helpful and suggested the Ethiopian breakfast (not on the menu). Since I've never had it (only tried tibs, vegetarian platters and several types of wots at other Ethiopian restaurants) I decided to give it a try. This dish came with a fried egg, couscous, pan-fried dough pieces, 1 rolled injera and a spicy stew with additional injera-soaked pieces. The couscous balanced the heat from the stew (which was very flavorful and yummy). The fried dough and egg rounded out the meal well. Great place with great food!

This place has okay food, but the owner's attitude is absolutely terrible and shit. She treats her staff and customers like garbage. Honestly, I wish I could throw the food right in her face. I gave it a 1 out of 10 solely because of her.

The lady tried to double charge me on everything twice not 1 time also didn't know we are from the same country and kept cursing me and the fact she thought I was African American the whole time.. I feel bad for people like her but even worse for people who have to spend money there.

The service was really really bad. Food had potential but the chef (the young man who was also the server that day) seemed to have forgotten to add salt. It was good quantity and I had Groupon, so the price was low. But there are plenty of really good Ethiopian places in the area for me to consider this for any higher rating.

I first ordered here last year via Grubhub for my fiancé and I for lunch and loved it. Then we had Raw Kitfo and Yebeg Tibs. It was definitely more then enough food and we had a lot of extra injera from what we ordered. A couple months ago I saw a Groupon deal for here and decided to use it in person. It's a bit of a walk or bus ride from us as it's right on the Maryland/DC border (but on the Maryland side) near the Eastern Ave. and Georgia Ave. intersection. It worked out well since we were just across the street before at the new Target to get our flu shots last month. We came in and the cashier was very friendly. Despite the name, you can also dine in here at one of their few socially distant tables. We decided to get the Yebeg Tibs and the Asa (fish) Dulet. It was very delicious with large portions. We had a lot of leftovers as well. Compared to the many other Ethiopian restaurants in town, they give a lot more wonderful stuff for the money. We look forward to coming back.

Tibs we're well seasoned, I wish allowed for other sides to be picked when ordering through Uber ears. I thought the dry spices were not needed and I am not a tomate person so I didn't not touch the other side item that came with the dish. I would've preferred having other options

4 stars for the food, 1 star for the service. Will not return, better food and service within a mile. Service: Did not accept my Groupon because I ordered from their own website. Woman claimed they pay "qmenu" too much, unsure why they use it for their business website or create a deal on Groupon. So I had to pay full price and my Groupon expired. Woman also tipped herself on the checkout screen for takeout, after I had already added a tip on my online order. Food: Good food, better than average. Couple better I've had, but no complaints on the quality. Much better portion sizes than most. Best were lamb tibs, kitfo was average (had on my last visit). Unfortunate because I enjoyed both my meals here, but not accepting my Groupon and tipping themselves on my card after I already tipped sealed the deal. Won't return.

Five stars for deliciousness of food! This is my favorite Ethiopian food place I've tried so far. I am not the best judge of Ethiopian food, however, I am familiar with the dishes and have been to a few. I ordered Take-out, and the portions and taste were excellent. We had lamb tibs and also the vegetarian platter. The servings are generous with plenty of injera. The food is flavorful. The vegetarian platter had a variety of vegetable dishes that were well seasoned. I typically dont eat beets, but even the beet dish was good! The staff was polite. There isnt much indoor seating so it would be hard to have a large group. They have several small tables, though. Overall great Ethiopian food!

I order the Kitfo Special from Enbela almost weekly. It's definitely a favorite of mine. I've ordered through DoorDash a couple times and have also picked up myself a couple times. It's a little tricky to find as it's a pretty small storefront. There is no dine-in space. It's just a market with a counter for take-out. I normally order the Kitfo Special raw and have never had an issue eating the meat raw. The meat seasoned with spiced clarified butter is sooo good. It's a huge portion of food and I always make sure to order an extra serving of injera bread because there's honestly just so much meat. The one thing I don't like is that the sides are sometimes unpredictable. Sometimes I get only the cottage cheese, and sometimes I get other stuff too, but that doesn't stop me from ordering over and over again. I've tried Kitfo from other local Ethiopian restaurants and this is still my favorite.

Right in the heart of silver spring, Enbela is tucked away waiting to share traditional flavors of Ethiopia with you. Absolutely a flavorful dance of meats and vegetables, you will leave wishing your stomach was a little bigger because you can't eat it all but you want to. Service is great!

BEST ETHIOPIAN FOOD! Yesy is absolutely an awesome guy! Friendly, welcoming and good vibes here. When you walk in you feel like family and the plates are made with love. For my first visit I had the Lamb and Vegy. It was delicious and makes me want to come back to try everything else they have on the menu. Also don't forget to try the Ethiopian coffee or othEr beverages.

Enbela is my favorite takeout restaurant. The vegetarian option has some amazing vegetables and flavors. The tibs is another great option. They portions are quite big.

I ordered takeout from Enebla for the first time tonight and it was incredible. We ordered the vegetarian sampler, the tibs firfir, and the Kitfo special, all three were perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious. This place blew other Ethiopian food I've ordered out of the water. Please support this exceptional local restaurant!!

Enbela is a hidden gem! I'm so glad I stumbled upon it. My mom and I were hungry, and decided to stop by Enbela for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Although the restaurant isn't very big, I think it gives it a "home-y" feel. We ordered the tibs with vegetables, and it was delicious. The customer service was impeccable, and the food was fresh. After our meal, we ordered coffee. They served us the coffee in a traditional Ethiopian clay coffee pot. And the coffee was amazing! The aroma, the richness, everything. Authentic Ethiopian food + Authentic experience = Quality dining experience Check it out!

I ordered dinner through UberEats delivery and it was delicious! We got the veggie sampler, Yebig Tibs (lamb), and a sambusa. Veggie sampler had a lot of options. Lamb was flavorful, maybe a little tough. Sambusa was also tasty, but FYI only one per order (in case there are more two or more of you). Good amount of food, and cheap. Highly recommend!

I can't believe this place only has one review on Yelp! I have cravings for ethiopian food almost weekly and have been ordering from various places around town via Door Dash, take-out, or Uber Eats. I tried Enbela tonight because it is available on Uber Eats, but without any ratings on Uber Eats and not having searched reviews on Yelp (not that the one would have been reassuring), I was a little nervous about what I would get. I was totally surprised with the quality and variety of food. They have the best veggie sampler I've tried out of all the orders I made thus far! Everything had amazing flavor and they gave generous portions! I will definitely be ordering from them again.

Some of the best food on the east coast and an eating experience like no other! I will definitely be coming here for the time to come.

I ordered the 'Awaze Tibs' and it was very oily. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best either.

The worst customer service I have ever seen. This women is rude, she threw the change on the counter without saying thank you and turn her back walk away. no respect she act I am nothing to her. I am happy to give a review to help for others..

Fantastic flavor! Okay I am a meat eater! However, when ever I have a taste for Ethiopian food I always order the veggie combo from here. It's amazing. The various flavors and textures are wonderful. I highly recommend.

I go to a lot of different Ethiopian restaurants and this is by far one of my favorite ones. I got the veggie combo platter and awaze tibs. They serve huge portions and the food is very flavorful.
