Most of the rooms are very cutely decorated, but there were too many people on the day we went. The room we were given was an ordinary room, which was a bit disappointing. We will make a reservation early next time. The barbecue is delicious.

Every room in the back has a different theme and it was so much fun! Staff was really accomdiating and friendly and there were a lot of songs to pick from.

Horrible case of bait and switch. Advertised online that it was one thing and when we came here it was completely different. Must be under new management. Karaoke was just a microphone and attached to out-dated speaker with YouTube. Food and drinks are not the same as posted online, advertised themed cocktails and food but had no drinks and food seemed to be just frozen thawed appetizers. Bill ended up being EXTREMELY outrageous for what it was. DO NOT COME HERE, would be better to just stay and do karaoke at home. I'd leave a zero star review if I could.

The decorated rooms are so cute & fun and they have a photo area where you can take pics with the Sanrio characters! I went with a party of 5 and didn't take part in the food or drink, so I can't comment on those, but the guy who served us was really nice and we all had a great time. The song selection interface might be a bit difficult to use since it's in Chinese, but you can also just switch to YouTube instead and put on lyric/karaoke videos like that.

So suspicious. We tried to walk in but a man told us it wasn’t the karaoke place. A woman told us later that it was the karaoke place but they only cater to Asians. I had a few Hispanic friends with me. The weird part was that we couldn’t hear any music from the establishment (the per usual of karaoke).

Made a reservation and however no staff spoke English so they didn’t want to attend us or deal with us.

Wife and I met up the homie here for his birthday. Never heard of the place, but it's on the 2nd floor. It's pretty cool though, it's like a party walking all the way up the stairs with the lights and music going off. Definitely a good way to get the vibes going. It probably helps to read/speak Mandarin since the menu we got was completely in Chinese, but thankfully my friend can. I only speak Cantonese and can't read or write a word to save my life (cries in ABC). Anyway, they have a TON of rooms. It was probably because I was drunk, but it kinda felt like a maze. I kept going the wrong way whenever I left the restroom. The room I was in felt like I was in someone's bedroom. They *do* offer YouTube functionality, but apparently only some (or one) of the rooms offer that feature. This was kind of a bummer since I really don't listen to pop/top 40s at all. Apparently they're known for their Sanrio themed rooms as well. We ordered skewers amongst other things. Most of the skewers were pretty much cold when we got them, but at least they were good. The onion rings and chicken tenders (chicken schnitzel according to them lol) were underwhelming, but can't really fault them for that. The tofu skin salad was really good. All in all, pretty decent experience. I definitely don't see myself coming back, but I'd say it's worth checking out if you're local.

I am a self-proclaimed Karaoke Queen and the #1 Hello Kitty fan so it is only reasonable that I love coming here to chill (and sing!) Don't let some old reviews fool you about the "microwavable food". The skewers here are super tasty! My recommendation? Try their Chicken Wing skewers! It keeps me coming back for more! It is 100% juicy and delicious. The staffs leaves you alone to have your mini private concerts but are super attentive when you need 'em. They do have different sound systems depending on which room you get, but the newer rooms are equipped with BMB. Thumbs all the way UP! Reservations by phone or WeChat are highly recommend since they do get busy, especially on weekends. They are located on the second floor inside a plaza which may appear to be ghetto and shady at night, but during the day it is actually a highly populated area where the locals eat at. Since the plaza is usually dead after 8pm, it is a cinch to locate parking. My verdict? This place is a GO!

Energy is a great Karaoke spot in the area. I've been here multiple times throughout the years and have always had a good time. Their speciality is definitely the Hello Kitty/Sanrio themed rooms, but they do cost extra and you do need to book in advance as they get reserved often. I usually come in a small group and do a small room for $35/hr. They have soju and food as well, and I usually go with a flavored soju for around $15 or so. They used to have a more limited selection of English songs but most recently have updated their systems to include YouTube, so the world of music is at your fingertips. Usually I call ahead to see if there's rooms avail, so I would recommend doing so as well. Great spot, the workers leave you alone and let you do your jam without checking in too much, but if you need something, they're there. Not usually super busy, but can get crowded on weekends.

Good and cute place to have a party at. Came here few times and I had a good time. The only thing is it's a bit difficult to make a reservation with them as they seem to not have English speaking staff available. I was told to call the following day to make a reservation and so I did. When I did call back, they still said they don't have an English speaking employee that can help me. I live an hour and a half from this place so it's hard to go in person just to make a reservation. If they can implement an online reservation system, with language options, that will help a lot. Otherwise, I enjoy coming here.

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE SANRIO ROOMS. THIS PLACE SUCKS IF I COULD GIVE IT 0 STARS I WOULD. 1. went here w my friends for my bday a while ago and they used to have a great system w sooo many diff songs and it was easy to use, but they changed it to some cheaper one with prob maximum 100 songs. when we asked the worker abt it, he said to go on youtube. like HUH if i wanted to use youtube for karaoke, i would go HOME and project it onto my tv for free. 2. and while he was trying to figure out the system and we changed rooms, he still charged us for those 30 mins. so we paid for an hour and a half when we did ACTUAL karaoke for abt 50 mins. 3. LASTLY MIND YOU, THE FINAL CHERRY ON TOP, is that they have the audacity to add a service fee. and it was like 18%?? LMFAO they knew if we had the option to tip i would give them NOTHING. they weren't helpful in answering questions, they looked like they wanted to quit when we asked them for anything, and they provided no service except the bare minimum requirements of their job. and im not usually one to get mad, i understand running a business BUT THIS IS UNFAIR TO UR CUSTOMERS. instead of having an automatic tip, train ur workers better or use the money from switching to the cheap ass sound system and pay ur staff more. maybe then u will see progress in this establishment. there are other better options around the area, pls don't go unless if u really love the sanrio rooms and want to take pics. but besides that, it's not worth it at all.

This place is a hello kitty and friends themed karaoke place. The rooms are stunning. The have aggretsuko, gudetama, my melody, little twin stars and 2 different hello kitty rooms. The staff is super friendly and understanding about times/larger parties. The food is good, and the drinks. We ordered wings and some appitizers like egg rolls. All delicious.

If you're on the hunt for a spot that ticks all the boxes for a good time, this karaoke joint is where it's at! Seriously, not only do they have all the hits you could want, but their Chinese BBQ is legit tasty. And let's not forget about the service - it's super friendly and on point. So, if you're down for some singing, snacking, and all-around good vibes, this place is a winner. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. We had a great time today. Thank you !

Our daughter is obsessed with San Rio so of course we planned a Karaoke Gno for her bday and we were the COOLEST parents ever .. the adults had a blast too and everyone has asked us where we went from our instagram post

The fact that this place has Hello Kitty themed rooms was reason enough for me to come here. My hubby threw me a Hello Kitty Karaoke Birthday party here and it was one of the best bday parties I've had. The rooms were so cute, drinks were kinda pricey but very tasty, plus (we always pre-game). I don't remember if we ordered food. Music selection was decent BUT for future reference they should add more English songs.. definitely K-pop dominate.

Needs work on Maintenance , More Staff & Cleaning as soon as possible. There bathrooms were so . But I had fun.

Visited this location on 11/18/23: Why 2 stars? I'm giving this spot 2 stars because the decor inside the karaoke rooms are super cute (you can't go wrong with Hello Kitty decor) and because my daughter and our family did enjoy ourselves. Also, the staff (only 2 men) were as attentive as possible but lacked in many areas. Forgot to bring us our drinks and some food items were left out too. CONS: 1. Do NOT order food from here. We spent over $100 on food and drinks and barely touched any of the food. Legit looks like they purchase the menu items from a local Asian market and just heat it up in the microwave. Also, after walking out to the front to ask for our missing items, I noticed that there is no cook in the kitchen, and the kitchen is dirty af. Yuck! Luckily with them forgetting some of our dishes, we were able to cancel a few items after seeing and tasting how terrible these menu items were. 2. I saw this place on instagram and followed the link to book our reservation. You can only book 1 week in advance and when you do book, you pay for the room in advance. We selected the Hello Kitty Room (seats up to 8 people) and paid $96 for 2 hours the day we booked. The website states it's $48 per hour. When we finished our party and went to the front to pay, they charged us AGAIN for the HK room! $120! So I asked where the $96 went and the man in the front told me that I paid that to the website to reserve but that money doesn't go to the actual establishment. He also said he "thinks" I'll be getting that money back in a few days. He said he doesn't know why they do it that way but that's how it goes. Lovely! -_- 3. We drove 2 hours from San Diego to this location and arrived to the place 30 min before our scheduled time. Instead of making us wait until 8pm, we were taken to the room right away (which I thought was pretty cool!). Side note: when we walked into this place it seemed super sketchy and abandoned. Anyways, we were scheduled for 2 hours and I figured our time started when they walked us in (30 min before) and would end 30 min before our scheduled end time. As I walked by other rooms, I did notice a TIME OUT announcement on the TV screen and thought to myself that they would automatically let us know when our 2 hours were up. Silly me! Of course they didn't do that. We stayed until our scheduled time of 10pm and had to pay for an additional 30 min ($120 versus the $96) AND on top of that tried to charge us for MORE time and claim that it was for the extra time. I was sober AF and disputed this right away! The guy ended up taking it off our bill. My fault on this one! But just putting it out there so you're aware. *I did read a review on Yelp (after the fact, of course) that if they have another booking scheduled after your time slot, they'll start getting you packed up and ready to go like 20 min before your time ends. (This place seems to get busier later in the night hours _10PM and on. More crowds were coming in as we were getting ready to leave) 4. They have you give them your ID for deposit purposes and with all the crap that happened while we were trying to pay, THEY FORGOT TO GIVE ME BACK MY DL!!! Ughhh!!! Now hoping I'll be able to call them and request that they mail it back to me. I am most definitely NOT driving all the way back there for their mistake. (I'll update my review with how that situation goes!) 5. The karaoke is just YouTube videos you can search up from home lol. I guess they have another system but it's not in English and hard to navigate. At least this is what my teenagers told me. Overall, this place is great in theory! The decor was the best part. Not worth the drive. Not worth the money. And not worth the headache of all the aftermath. Don't be fooled by the photos of the food (wish I would've taken photos myself to show you proof of what we were served). Don't be fooled by instagram! *** Gratuity is included in your bill!!! It's a service fee on the receipt. Just FYI. Hope this helps!

When we walked in, the place smelled like cigarettes and smoke. So if you don't like that, I'd suggest finding another place to sing your heart out. I walked to the restroom and there's apparently an indoor "smoking area" that's allowed. I highly doubt that is allowed but the female worker assured that was allowed. We'll see what the fire code says about that. The workers are very helpful but it doesn't help much as the app is not very user friendly and basic songs like Frozen, Hotel California aren't even listed. Option B, use the YouTube app. Fine at first but you have to restart it every time to be able to use a keyboard to type the next song. We tried to order using the scan to order option and not all drinks were listed. We had to go out and ask if Soju was available and we did get a couple bottles. Our room had Jenga, dices, mic covers, napkins and was clean, which was the reason why I gave them one extra star. The smoking concern was the biggest reason why I won't be coming again. Enjoy.

Bad environment, there is smell of smoking everywhere and I got severely allergic. The smell didn't die off but instead got even stronger. The food was ok, but overall not a nice environment to be in.

We were looking for a venue for a birthday party - the rooms are really cute, and REALLY wanted to book our party here. Tried a small room while we there to check the place out, but left early because of the overwhelming smell of smoke that permeates the building. If you are a non-smoker, you'll get a headache the minute you walk through the entrance, its so strong.

Eh, a typical Chinese karaoke. Nothing special to recommend about, but it is easy to book and fair price. I paid $57 for 4 hours included tax and tips. By the way, tips are included already. It's the "service charge" on the receipt, not sure why it's included already since it was only the 3 of us. Didn't really get any "service" lol, asked for the worker once because the speaker was spotty. Bad experience. Skip on the food, it's not worth it. Also no take out inside the rooms so eat before you get here. If you're just itching to sing and have fun, it's ok. To impress someone or to really enjoy karaoke? I suggest not

If your were born in the late 80s and 90s they have allllll the throwbacks to bring you back. The rooms were super cute however the food selection is pretty limited which is the only real bummer. Parking is easy but the area isn't the best. If you come with the right people you'll definitely have a good time

Awesome experience for a Karaoke place... My friends did their daughter's 4th birthday here and she absolutely loved it! The Sanrio theme was just what the kids love... The staff and owners went out of there way to make the experience fun and lively...The food was catered towards vegetarians and they really made some great dishes that even surprised me... You would think it's a Karaoke and Bar place but the food was really good! As more people showed up and we were not at peak hours they actually opened a secondary room for us for the overflow of friends and children... I highly recommend this place and hope others can enjoy the experience!

It's understandable for every business to have its rules and customers are to comply. We booked a room here. Driver license was asked and my husband complied. The only problem was the staff were NOT ATTTENTIVE enough to REMIND and RETURN the driver license back upon settling the bill and witnessing their customers exiting their premises, as a result customer is driving home without his/her license like what exactly happened to my husband, that we had to drive 20 miles back the following day to get it. It would be better if this becomes a stricter SOP to avoid such hassle and have a review like this.

We had a reservation, but when we came, we had to wait a little bit. I immediately ordered drinks and food as soon as they led us to the room. I had a party of about 17 people and so we reserved the Hello Kitty room. It was super interesting! Food and drinks came out at a decent time. In general, service was good. There is ample amount of parking and you are not allowed to bring in drinks/ food. They have a security guard at the door to search your bags and jackets, sooo, just a warning, because I didn't think they'd be that serious about that. The reason why they get a 4 star is because I am absolutely not a big fan of their karaoke system. The navigation of songs on the system is confusing and tedious to use. We had one of the employees come in to show us how to search for Chinese songs and he said that we just had to know how to type the characters in Chinese. In addition, when you search, you can only search by the artists' names. They had a limited amount of English songs. I love oldies and they didn't have any oldies. My family can speak English, so it would've been nice to have some English oldies. Even when they wanted some Chinese songs, they couldn't search it.

I held my birthday here in the Aggretsuko Room and it was so much fun! Pros: - Room was spacious and could hold 20 people no problem - Pricing was amazing: 3 hours at $12/pp even with food and drink orders - They had cute themed food/dessert available - Food was standard but not terrible - Sound system was clear - Disco ball littered the room with cute colors - Themed Room was on point and even had decor on the table to make it look like an office - Parking easy with the big lot - Service was friendly and a lady was so patient to take nice shots for us - Photo ops everywhere Cons: - Songs controlled by one console in the corner of the room... hard to maneuver and most people too lazy to get up and input songs - Can't bring your own drinks

I love karaoke! I love Hello Kitty & Friends! So much fun and for a few hours, I get to forget about reality and pretend I'm a rock star blasting my beautiful voice on those microphones (cover your ears though, I sing poorly, but who cares, I'm playing pretend, I'm a rock star lol), and I get to be mesmerized on my Hello Kitty stage with my fans (I mean friends with their ear plug on) clapping and screaming encore, encore! .... ... sigh! I'm impressed and most definitely have so much fun every time I come here! Energy Karaoke and Sanrio signed a contract to have this Sanrio themed karaoke rooms. If you're a Sanrio/ Hello Kitty fan, and you love to sing, you must stop by, no excuse!!! They have different Sanrio characters theme rooms, of course Hello Kitty was our favorite, because we keep booking this room every time we come here. Make sure you book early if you want a particular room because waiting last minute, it will sell out! It happened to me before so we had to postpone a birthday for a different weekend to come here because she is set to want the Hello Kitty room. Booking ahead online is easy, just go to their website. The rooms are clean and super adorable! The sound system was great! The touch screen system showed songs by title and artist. We were able to belt out a good variety of tunes between us from oldies to the top hits. We sang mostly English songs, but I did a few Chinese and my friend's wife snuck a few awesome Korean songs in there! They also have some props like tamarind musical instrument to use to enhanced the music. lol Of course, the decorations were the highlight for me. There were Hello Kitty figurines and cardboard cutouts for photo op, Hello Kitty images on the tables, walls, and windows, and a Sanrio character inspired menu like Hello Kitty imprints on the hot dog and hamburger buns, Hello Kitty & Mimmy Waffle and Ice Cream, Hello Kitty Baked Ube and Ice Cream, Each character themed items comes with ice tea lemonade and a Sanrio x Energy Bistro & Karaoke button set. They also have others regular menu items like chicken wings, popcorn chicken, ramen, etc.\Loretta the manager and the staffs took very care of us. Coming in and out of our rooms to clear our table and made sure we were ok. Service was outstanding! The themed room rates are: The Hello Kitty, the lazy egg Gudetama, and the Little Twin Stars themed rooms are for minimum of 6 people at $10 an hour (minimum 2 hours) and $50 minimum order on food or beverages. My Melody themed room is for minimum 4 people at $10 an hour (minimum 2 hours) and $40 minimum order on food or beverages. Hello Kitty Starry Night room (Min.18 Guests) at $10 an hour (minimum 2 hours) and $120 minimum order on food or beverages They do have non themed rooms at regular prices. Not sure what the rate are because every time we come here we book the Sanrio themed room. Check their website or call for prices. Plenty of free parking in the shopping center.

If you are a fan of Hello Kitty & other Sanrio characters and karaoke-ing, then this place is for you! You enter the building and go up the stairs or use the elevator to get to this business. You can't miss all the cute characters looking out at you from those windows! You will find the Bistro and the check-in desk first. Then, after the payment arrangement has been secured, you will be escorted to your entertainment room. TIP: NO outside food is allowed to be brought in! Thank goodness we had a room full of singers! I like to sing along (off mic) or just hang out with my friends. With this group, though, you will have to step up and take a turn singing! No one's judging, just roll with it! Most everyone will sing along anyways. The Hello Kitty room was so very cute! You have to reserve it in advance because it books up quickly! Hello Kitty surrounds you! She's talking on the phone in a corner, she's watching over you as you have fun, and she's on the menu with her friends. Don't forget to take pictures with the sweet Kitty in front of the nice backdrop! There are paper/cardboard props provided, too! There is a good variety of food available for ordering. There's a special Sanrio menu where you get a drink and a collector's (4) buttons set with your meal. They also have 2 Hello Kitty desserts listed. Off the regular menu, I tried the Duck Tongue skewers. The flavor was delicious, but I needed a lesson on how to properly eat them! The room was spacious in the beginning, but we ended up with a packed room near the end. It was all good! Keeps the cost down and we didn't mind... we're friends, after all! I felt that the sound system was good quality and the music selection seemed plentiful! I think some people in the group could've sung well into the night! Overall, this was a super fun way to spend an afternoon! I would definitely return!

Wonderful great place to just sit, relax, drink, eat and sing your heart out! I had no idea there was a Hello Kitty karaoke and bistro. It was an experience not soon forgotten as the entire place has a "fun feel". We all had such a rip roaring time laughing, eating and singing that 2 hours seemed to fly quickly. We met Miss Loretta whom was an extremely gracious host providing information and urging us to take plenty of photos which no one had to tell us twice! This place is so wonderful that they have a waiting list and reservations are taken first come first serve, and you must book in advance if you want the Hello Kitty room. Seriously? Yes! Lucky for us Nadine C. from Hawaii reserved way in advance! Good going Nadine! Thanks! We had a tremendous 2+hours of rip roaring Top O' the Lungs blast (some songs from the past too) and it was an amazing get-together! We loved it so much, we swore we'd do it again...didn't we?!

Hello Kitty karaoke room! For some strange reason, a friend of mine messaged me about a new partnership between Energy Karaoke and Sanrio, the company that Hello Kitty belongs to... there seemed to be a magnetic pull towards karaoke in Hacienda Heights...I don't know why...Haha! The instructions were clear. I was to book the special Hello Kitty room online (for a 2 hour time slot) with a minimum of 6 people at $10 per person, and a food/beverage order of $10 minimum per person. Luckily, my friends are foodies as well as singers, so we made the minimum...no problem. In the Hello Kitty room, there is a special Hello Kitty menu. There were three meal combos that came with an iced tea or lemonade and a set of Sanrio buttons. Of course I wanted a Hello Kitty meal for $19...lol! That hot dog was one of the tastiest ever, especially since I was hungry! (And I wasn't allowed to bring my half dozen of Astro donuts into the room. The security guard had me take the box back to my car!) The sound system was great! The touch screen system showed songs by title and artist. We were able to belt out a good variety of tunes between us! Jon's wife even performed a few Korean numbers!!! Wow! The winner, however, was Steve S. with his amazing solo...couldn't tell that he never sings in public! Whoa! Of course, the decorations were the highlight for me. There were Hello Kitty figurines and cardboard cutouts for photo opps, Hello Kitty images on the tables, walls, and windows, and Hello Kitty imprints on the hot dog and hamburger buns!!! I went with a group of 4. Upon walking in, you are hit with a strong cigarette smell. Despite that, I gave this place a chance because of the Sanrio decorations. However, you have to pay much more for those rooms. I went to a regular booth, and there were hardly any amenities. It felt like I was doing karaoke at home. The system was outdated. They don't have a scoring system, and a lot of it was in Chinese. They didn't even have a space bar!! How was I ever supposed to look up songs? The lady who came to help us said the system does not have space bars. Then when we went to pay, they taxed us and charged us a service fee despite not serving us anything!! I've been to two other karaoke places, they would have never treated me this way!!

Pretty cool karaoke spot in HH! We came here after having dinner and drinks at Oh Crab and Side bar. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to get us a room. We picked the two hour option ($20 per hour) with credit for 2 $10 drinks. We got a peach and grapefruit cocktail. They have a decent variety of songs but the interface wasn't the most intutive. Some songs that I was happy they had - Summer Nights, Peter Cetera, Bryan Adams but was disappointed that they was no 2pac or Salt N Pepa - or maybe I just couldn't find it. But still, overall a great Karaoke Bar.

Place stinks of cigarettes from people smoking in the rooms. We complained twice to have them tell people to smoke outside but it seems like they didn't care.

The place is on 2nd floor, upon entering building you smell lots of funky odor coming up the stairs, mostly urine. Only good thing is the cute Sanrio wall decorations. Service was whack and the kareoke system was so out of date, most of the songs we chose had the wrong music/arrangement making it not enjoyable to sing along to. Had plans to order food but seeing how the staff was hard to find/reach, we didn't even bother. I do not plan on returning here!!

I love this place! Energy Bistro and Karaoke offers it all for your karaoke experience. Want alcohol? Check! Food? Check! Boba? Check! They offer songs in many languages with many of them in their original music compositions and music videos. It is much better than other karaoke places that use the cheapened down versions of songs that sound like generic ringtones that come off a phone. If you come during certain times they offer a happy special where you only have to spend a certain flat rate for a long time of karaoke. I highly recommend this place if you want to let loose, sing, and bond with whomever you go with.

I visited this place yesterday after seeing it on Instagram and seeing how cute the Hello Kitty room is. The location itself is in a shopping center and outside there were 2 homeless men who harassed me and the ladies I was with. It was super uncomfortable because they were walking up and down the shopping center asking for money and getting super close to shoppers. The bar is on the second floor and it was pretty quite when we walked in idk if we were early or that's the vibe. Anyway The workers were very helpful and nice and we ordered drinks and food and they came out really fast. I will say it's pretty pricey but honestly worth the price because we had such a good time singing and enjoying the food, drinks, and company. This was my first time at a karaoke bar so I wasn't sure how it worked but they charge for the room by the hour. So if you want the hello kitty room it's $100 and hour but if you want a regular room it's $30. There's also an automatic 18% service fee to your bill and you order food through a QR code the offer so ordering is pretty easy but they didn't have any of the hello kitty food or the other food advertised on here so just be aware.

I am a person who loves to hop around karaokes bc it's a hobby of mine. This place was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE compared to any other place. Yes, the hello kitty theme is all cute and all but you have to pay $5 extra. The karaoke experience itself is horrendous. You cannot search any of the songs yourselves, music is not updated, and it is not karaoke at all (they just play the song over your voices WITH THE SINGER). The pricing included a "service fee" which does not logically make sense to me. All the workers do is guide you to your room. If i could give a rating of 0, i would. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Super fun! Food is okay but we didn't go for the food we went to sing. Quality of songs is good. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will definitely return. The service was great!

We came here for my friend's birthday and it was a lot of fun. We decided to book the Hello Kitty room. There is two Hello Kitty room. We booked the smaller room since there was only five of us. I just booked everything on line. We booked it for two hours. The rooms are so cute. I love the details. Everything was easy to figure out. I just wish there was more English song. There were more Asian songs. The meals we ordered were cute. We all ended up getting the burger meal. The burger was good. All meals came with a pin set. We ordered some other things on the menu and I think everything was okay. I thought the price was good. We all had a lot of fun and plan to come back again.

7/7/23. Don't let the room fee wavier advertisement at the reception fool you!!! It only applies from Monday through Thursday, and they don't take it away when it does not apply. The terms only show on the tiny little corner of the standing banner. we came here on a Friday and end up paying the room fee which we thought to be covered with the waiver. I admit that I should pay more attention to the T&Cs but yes, it is quite frustrating when the store keeps it up when it does not apply.

Makes me feel like I'm back in Japan! However, the machine is very very complicated. You can NOT search by the song title, and ithe search engine is broken. For example if you are searching for an artist, you can only type the first letter of the name! If you type the whole thing ("Apink")or more than the first letter ("Ap"), no result will come up! So what we had to do wad just type "A" and then we have to scroll through the 400+ other artist to find "Apink". The sound system is good, the machine is the only reason I remove 2 stars as searching for songs take-up 45% of your time. If you're a party of 4 or 5 people, you can rent the small themed room by paying $38 per hour. Or you can get the deal where you pay $20 for 2 hours and you get $10 credit for food or drink so that's pretty cool! Bear in mind there is tax (9.5%) and service fee (15%). So if you bought the $20 package, you end-up paying $24.9.

Very private rooms. Drinks were brought quickly and prices were very decent. I just wish they would have a larger selection of food. The rooms are nice and spacious. Karaoke machine was easily adjustable to English.

We walked in without a reservation and they were able to get us in. Great customer service and food choices, I enjoyed the edamame. However, the karaoke machine crashed twice during the time we were there and we had to look up our songs again. It's not a big deal but it's inconvenient when you're paying by the hour and it takes a bit to reset. The inside is extremely cute and I did overall enjoy my time here.

Absolutely loved our Hello Kitty Starry karaoke room which fits up to 25 people. Enjoyed the spacious room we had for singing and dancing to the latest tunes. Adored the hello kitty themed waffle sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, icecream desserts, and more. Thank you Energy Karaoke for providing and amazing space!

Huge ripoff! The lady that helped us sounded like she said $14 an hour when she meant $40 dollars an hour. We then Ask the lady to double check if she meant $14 an hour and she said yes. (Wow how cheap, let's do it). We got suckered in and excited that we bite the bait. When the tab came up it was actually higher than expected. We were like wth and the manager who's an fat s***head wasn't accommodating and was like"$14 an hour can't pay the electricity bill." Well moral to it is this is a tourist trap and if you do go just make sure there's no language barriers between them employees and you because they're English isn't that great. Life lesson learned

First off let me say, it would have been 5 stars IF they didn't kick us out a little early. They scheduled a group right after our time of reservation and so they came in 20 minutes early to hand us the receipt and turned off the music while we were still using the karaoke which is disappointing because we rented the most expensive room. I think they should improve on having some time in between to avoid kicking people out early when they've paid the full amount. Not trying to sound snobby but we paid a little shy of $500 total of a group of 6 so we wanted the full time we paid for. Anyways, We rented the hello kitty starry night room for my birthday recently. It was super duper cute, everything I wanted! The room is $180 for 2 hours for a party of 18 and $10 extra per extra person and you have to order a minimum of $120 of food and drinks. Before we got there, we called and ordered food and they were able to prepare it for us so once we arrived the food were coming in. The room was clean and spacious! They had a good variety of songs in chinese, korean, and English. I think there were other languages too but I did not check. They had old songs and new songs to choose from. Ex: Spice Girls. I loved that. The food was delicious! I was surprised because I wasn't expecting much. We ordered beef skewers, asparagus skewers, Dan Dan noodles, all the foods with characters on it including desserts, fries, and we for the yogurt soju which was good! I highly recommend the ube dessert! Very moist and tasty.

Not long after I heard the news of a Hello Kitty themed karaoke, I booked a room immediately the following week. Sorry Gudetama, maybe next time. Min 6 people and Max 10 people with an extra charge for every additional person = $60 Min of $50 purchase towards food or drinks. 15% Service gratuity ***Look at picture of the bill for the details. Where my HK fans at? This is the place to get your Hello Kitty dose. I hope you drown in it. I hope all that cuteness chokes you and makes you beg for more. Okay, that was kinda scary there. But yeah, the place is pretty well decorated with Hello Kitty things as the hallway has a few photo ops. The room itself is also decorated again. However, I wish there were more props. You can't just have a cute decor and expect us to be happy. WE DEMAND MORE! But let's get down the real business and discuss the Karaoke features. I LOVED their song selection screen as it was basically one big ipad. Modern technology at its best, but with minor flaws such as sensitivity and non-functional services. Press the service button they said, but ours didn't work at all. Song selection was a great mix of languages that were mostly newer and popular. I'm not complaining, but sometimes I like knowing there's classic songs available. FYI, no Disney songs. The food and drinks are reasonably priced so it wasn't that bad having to spend $50. It was actually quite easy as a drink here and there was already $10 each. For a night of out to include singing, drinking, and eating, this place ain't so bad. The sake cocktails were tasty, but didn't really do anything. Beer or bottles are probably the way to go. In addition, they have select Sanrio character themed food that is worth a try (really for the IG). Some improvements, I wish they had more props in the room. If it's going to be Hello Kitty themed, I want some plushies thrown in and maybe add in some more sparkles and glitter. Oh, and where are the disco lights?!?! And what's singing without the instrumentals? You know, the tambourines and the shakers. I wish our service button worked though :( It would be nice to also have the ability to order through the screen as well. Hopefully they decide to invest in a portable screen because it was a pain having to sit by that lonely corner. Despite the flaws of the place, I'm still a fan. The rooms are clean and spacious and at a reasonable price. They have happy hour which is an even better deal. Energy Karaoke brings out the Asian side of me. The fobby Fiona.

Love their Sanrio characters theme karaoke room ! Food is tasty and presentable! Excellent services provided, staff are friendly and attentive.

I made a reservation for Sunday at 9pm the day before by phone and the worker on the phone was easy to understand, was polite and answered all my questions regarding pricing, and minimum amount to order, as well as minimum amount of time to book for (which is 2 hrs). I actually called other kareoke spots near by, and it was hard for me to understand the worker on the phone (I am non-chinese speaker so there was a language barrier) or they were vague about pricing or times to book. I mainly booked this place because the worker was nice on the phone and of course it was Hello Kitty theme. We arrived on time and Michael, helped us navigate the kareoke system (which he mentioned was upgraded and touchscreen) and it was very straight forward. They had a variety of songs to choose from. The hello kitty room was cute and clean. There is a service button in the room if you need anything from the staff. We ordered bottled waters takoyaki, a soju 1L bottle and beer tower to share and it was enough for 8 people. The food was fairly priced. We could of ordered more, but we just came from a dinner party. Closing out the tab was a breeze and I did not encounter any surprise fees as they were straight forward from the beginning about the price per hour (they include 18% gratuity in the total) We enjoyed our time there and definitely would go again.

Came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday. The karaoke system is very new and easily managed, I could find all the songs I wanted. The food is surprisingly good too and the staffs are all very accommodating and friendly. Most importantly the bill came out less than I expected, definitely visit again

Made a reservation for my son's birthday party two weeks prior. The party was supposed to be 6pm on a Sunday. When all of my guests were there at 6pm, the door was locked and we could'nt get in. We called their number several times and nobody picked up. Just imagine what we must have felt like, standing there with a group of family members and friends, and holding a birthday cake. We got a phone call from a staff half an hour later, saying that the person in charge forgot to come in. That WAs confusing in so many levels. First, the place's operating hours was supposed to be 3pm to 2am on Sundays...so why would nobody BE there be 6? Is this place "by appointment" only? Also, why would one person forgetting to show up stop the entire operation? Is the place operated by one person only? No kitchen staff and no other waiter? After reading the other reviews, I actually feel lucky that we coudn't get in. (Just imagine what food he would have prepared by himself, and how dirty the ingredients would have been, since nobody was there on a weekend night. How old are their hamburger ingredients?) Don't plan your parties here. Your reservation would rely entirely on whether the owner forgets to wake up from his afternoon nap. (By the way, another review posted here shows that THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. They also forgot to show up for another reviewer's reservation. WHO KNOWS HOW MANY TIMES THIS HAS HAPPENED) This is one of those crazy places that are run ridiculously badly.
