I travelled all the way from South West London to Enfield to visit Enfes Ocakbasi a 1 hour 30 minute journey and it was worth every single second. Hands down, this is the best Turkish food I’ve had. This was my second visit, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The food was exceptional, full of flavour, and cooked to perfection. A special shout-out to Ayse, whose service was outstanding friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I would 100% recommend Enfes Ocakbasi and will definitely be returning again.

Every single thing was delicious. I am a fan of Turkish food and this was one of the best if not the best of all I had. Lamb shish was so soft, melting in my mouth, I couldn’t believe it. Liver was amazing, great spices. Starters and bread, so good that I couldn’t stop eating it. All this at a good value. Restaurant is quite small, but everything else was perfect. Service was also great and quick.

Very disappointing experience. We went as two people and were given a very small table. I ordered a big platter of food, and there wasn’t even enough space on the table to fit everything properly. When we asked for a bigger table, the owner was extremely rude and disrespectful. I explained that we planned to spend good money there, but his response was basically, “You don’t buy me,” which was shocking and unnecessary. On top of that, he couldn’t understand us properly and made no effort to be polite or helpful. The attitude alone ruined the whole experience. I will never go back there again, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect and decent customer service.

Second time coming here with my fiancé and it’s the best Turkish food I’ve had so far. The chicken shish was juicy and not dry at all. The halloumi and boreks were also tasty and fresh. Service was on point too.

This place is so lovely. Really traditional with lovely waiters. The food is authentic and cooked over the coal fire. Complimentary bread dips, sauces and salad on arrival. Great value for money, I couldn’t even eat half of mine. It’s a tight with seating but just adds to the atmosphere, and usually I dislike being to close when in restaurants, but this just works. It does get really really hot, so leave the coats at home. They also came out and sung happy birthday to me! Great restaurant with gorgeous food and lovely staff 😁

I've eaten at this place a few times now and honestly the food does not disappoint. They serve traditional Turkish food. Typically I always get the chicken or lamb shish which comes with a number of sides including salad, couscous, rice and flatbread. Also tried the chicken wings which is really good too. The restaurant is a reasonable size, clean and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Definitely a hidden gem.
