Lovely tasting food. Portions are good and the service is friendly. Lovely aesthetic it has. A little bit pricey but it's worth it. Their suya is lovely as well as their Egusi

I visited Enish, Finchley Road yesterday and was very disappointed with the service. The waiter was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout our visit. I was told I could not have my baby’s pram near the table and that he should use the high chair. I explained he may fall asleep, but the response I got was: “he doesn’t look like he’s going to sleep anytime soon.” The high chair provided was dirty, so I did not use it. When I asked what I should do if he couldn’t sit, she actually suggested that parents hold their children while eating — which is completely impractical. As expected, my son did fall asleep shortly after. When I asked for the pram back, she reluctantly agreed but continued to argue, saying many restaurants don’t allow prams and that she had “been to loads” that didn’t. She only allowed it “because it wasn’t busy,” despite there being just six diners in the restaurant at the time. To make matters worse, she had AirPods in and was on the phone during service, which came across as very unprofessional. The whole interaction was unnecessary and created a very unwelcoming experience. Parents should feel accommodated, not made to feel like an inconvenience for something as simple as keeping a pram nearby. The food itself was nice enough, but overpriced. The suya wasn’t the best and felt expensive for the portion, and charging £6 for a fizzy drink is ridiculous.

We booked for a birthday party. Over 2 weeks. We arrived at the place first it didn't look like what's on the instagram, we were looking for high end restaurant that was the reason for choosing enish. I was highly dissapointed for the following reasons: 1. We got to the restaurant and there was no table set. We had to wait outside in the cold weather before they could clear the table. 2. When we sat down the table was near a sink that behind was filthy 3. There were fruit flies all over. 4. We ordered fish pepper soup, the fish tasted like rubber as it was obviously frozen for weeks before cooking. 5. My son when ordering told the waiter he is allergic to fish. When he started eating the food it came with fish. Risk of possible fatal death. No apologies. 6. No manager to complain to. No apologies for a terrible service. 7. We cut the cake we brought and no side plates provided. They put cream cake on tissue paper. 8. The place is not worth visiting, I wish I had read true reviews before getting there. Won't recommend it.

We ate at Enish Finchley Road, the food was delicious, the beef was a little chewy but the flavour was gorgeous. The service was lovely and attentive and considered. I however felt deeply disappointed in the decor the smell and the state of the toilets! You can tell a lot about an establishment by there toilets and personally the toilets put me off my food!

After a long day, we were too tired to eat in, so we ordered to take away. The place is nice, mind. The order took a longish time but the jollof rice, plantains and beans were so lovely that I was happy we picked Enish. It was my first jollof rice but definitely not the last.

The food and customer service were both excellent and I am very pleased. It was my brother-in-law’s 60th birthday. Victoria was absolutely incredible with the orders for all 20 of us and the children. The other staff members were excellent too. The food was exceptionally scrumptious. My return is imminent.

Despite the fact that restaurant was busy we managed to get a table as walk in customers. It was my first time trying Nigerian cuisine. I am impressed with flavours, big portions and quality of food. I was a bit worried that I will not be able to manage spiciness of dishes, however I did (and I am not a big fan of spicy foods 🙂). Rating 4 stars because place was not clean enough, there were food pieces on the floor under some tables and we had to wait for food for a long time. But it was worth the wait end of the day. Recommending this place to those who are after new experiences, flavours and open to new cuisines.
