"It’s easy to breeze past Enkore since its only evidence of existence is a sticker slapped on the building above the entrance. Up the stairs at this second-story University District karaoke spot is an abundance of soju, private rooms that are easy to book online, and a fun off-campus-housing vibe that feels thoroughly collegiate. Are the machines decades old and difficult to operate? Yes. Will someone spill plum wine on your Blundstones? Yes. Will it be one of the best nights of your year? Also yes." - Aimee Rizzo

This place is great to go to with friends. I’ve been twice now and both times have been great experiences. Pricey but reasonable split between several people. No food that I’m aware of but alcohol is definitely for sale!

If you love Karaoke this place provides a great karaoke experience. All ages are welcomed except no alcohol is allowed in the room if anyone in your party is under 21 years old. They provide an Asian style karaoke experience with a TJ Media karaoke system and the latest touchscreen system which is really convenient to use. You can start a queue of songs and it's easier to search and select songs to sing using the touch screen. We checked in the front counter and ordered food & drinks. Our room had two microphones and two screens to read the lyrics. We enjoyed the background videos on the songs selected. We did wish they had more Spanish genre song options. For food we got the chicken wings and order of fries which were both good in taste. For drinks they serve beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages like Sake and Soju. Our favorite was the Soju peach flavor bottle. Our time here was fun and booked the room for 2-3hrs. Overall great place to come hangout with friends and have a good time singing together.

Google
Compared to other karaoke places I've visited this ranks in C tier. Mic and speaker settings lack echo and subwoofer so I had to adjust those. The room lacks sound proof far worse than any other places I've been to. It is normal that you can hear other rooms but the volume was significantly higher. No water fountain so you must pay for it. Restroom didn't have soap. Still giving it a 3 stars because it's better than Rockbox in Seattle.

We had a great time here for our daughters birthday. We rented a Large room and spent 2 hrs having the kids sing, dance and shout the night away. The room set up is cozy, with 2 big screens and wireless mic's. Lots and lots of music to choose from in multiple different languages, from old school favorites to new hit songs so something for everyone. Staff were friendly and the room was clean and ready to go. Kids had a great time and are already planning something to go back.

Easy to use System. Sound was decent. A bit pricey

Google
Really clean, nice song selection, great audio. We didn't eat or drink but they had a pretty decent menu available. Very friendly service! Only downside is that it's pretty darn pricey unless you're there for happy hour. $35/hr for a small room (we had 3 people) was a little shocking.

Loved this place so much! Good song selection - we mainly sang older English songs (70s folk, 90s pop, 00s alt rock) and found most of the artists we looked up. We also sang some Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish songs. Most of the songs came with their original music video, which is rare in my experience. They also had a Korean and a Japanese machine in the room, so if we wanted a better selection in those languages we could’ve asked them to switch it. The staff was really nice. We ordered plain soju, fries, and champagne. You can also bring in your own snacks for a fee. Only improvement would be if they had an online room reservation system (you can submit a request online but seems you probably need to do it a day in advance, because we just got an email saying our request was under review), but overall the best ktv experience I’ve had in the US.

Google
The system they use for the music is super confusing and hard to use. They also have a $20 outside food fee that my group wasn’t aware of until we payed for the bill. Also they’re rude!! Never had a good experience with any of the people there. Would not recommend, can do better karaoke at home.

Yelp
I went here for my birthday not too long ago. This was a surprise to me. I haven't done karaoke in a private room in years! I'm from California and a few of our local ones closed down. I went on a Tuesday and it was still nice to see this place thriving in the evening hours. The selection includes western stuff, jpop, kpop, and even anime songs. I was happy to see they had songs from Oshi no Koi and even as old as classic Gundam. You can pick out songs by either scanning a QR code that will take you to an app or use the screen in the room. The app is pretty finicky, but the screen is reliable. The selection is pretty robust. I do have a few questions about some of the video selections, but that's not the fault of the venue. However the service was pretty good and this is a fun thing to do on a weeknight in the area.

Yelp
Went karaoking as a part of our date night and had a blast! I have been here before and enjoyed my time before as well. Last time i visited was late night on a Friday. We had to wait a while for our room even though we made a reservation weeks prior. It seemed all rooms were taken. One thing to note, if you do say 1 hr on your reservation, but decide to stay past that, you will be charged for every extra hour and minute you stay. One con from this visit was that the fries were stale. However, for having the best flavors for soju, it negated that... This time, i visited on a Saturday mid-afternoon and there were more vacant rooms. We made a reservation a day before as well with no problem. One con on this visit was that you can hear other people karaoking while you karaoke. However, you can control the music volume and mic volume to out hear them though. Overall, will probably continue to come here for some karaoke craziness.

Yelp
This place was overall an okay experience for Asian style lovers. They have standard sized karaoke rooms for me and my friend hence there were only 2 of us. Fresh new songs included a variety of Mandopop, J-pop and English choices. Pros: You can book a room in advance, its easy and considerate to reserve your own cause it can be fully packed after 6pm. The standard sized rooms are clean, tidy and cozy. I actually prefer the automated audio system that most Chinese karaoke bars use. You can also adjust the brightness of the room to make it dimmer. Cons: Definitely overpriced for a 2-hour session. The drinks cost $45 plus tax and the alcoholic beverage was even more expensive. The waiter at the front counter added a tip himself which was kind of sneaky, even though his service was not that great overall. We sang our throat out and needed some water , took a while to get our quench. If you are a regular singer, do not come to this place. I recommend go to other areas such as Chinatown or International district where the inexpensive karaoke bars are located.

Yelp
Overall, it was an okay experience. Would we come back, sure, with a similarly large group. Pros: digital song list with lots of options, including letting the original track play vs. instrumental only; clean room with functioning mics; ability to dim room lights; clean bathrooms. Cons: snacks and drinks are overpriced; there is no option to BYOB without being charged a minimum price; no ability to easily contact the front for service; limited song choices; overpriced rate by the hour. This is not your regular, casual karaoke place at all. Definitely eat and drink before you come because snacks are all the same price and NOT worth it. If you are looking to belt out movie soundtracks, you'll be lucky to find 1 song from them. I will say they had a decent selection of OLD School stuff, but that's pretty much where it ends. 2 hours of karaoke shouldn't cost almost $200. I've been to nicer places with better food and drinks, stayed 5 hours, and it was nowhere near that expensive. Maybe the owners will consider BYOB or at least allow outside food, then MAYBE the cost will balance. But hey, it's Bellevue, right?

Yelp
Like others have mentioned if you are planning to come here during the night time I'd recommend calling to make a reservation. It does get crowded even though there are a decent amount of rooms. When we called there was There's a ton of parking in the huge lot so that shouldn't be a problem. This place has mostly Asian songs but they do have a good amount of English ones. We were able to find most if not all the songs we wanted especially all the popular 90's songs. You can search by both artist and song and even language so it's pretty easy. It's also straightforward to move songs up and down the queue. The only thing is some of the artists with special characters can be a little difficult to find if you don't search using the right order. For example, N'SYNC was spelled 'N SYNC so we had to search via one of their songs and then we saw how it was spelled in their system. The service was pretty good as well. Our mics stopped working in the middle of our session and they quickly got us new ones, albeit there were wired but that's not a huge deal. For two hours worth of singing and a couple bottles of baekseju the total was around $140 which is pretty good if split among our party of six.

Anva S.

Yelp
I think it's worth it in a way. It kinda gives a "boring" vibe. The selection of songs are really good and a lot tho.

Alex L.

Yelp
Cashier added a tip himself and snuck us a 15% higher price. Is that how you want to treat your customers? sneaking behind their back?

Yunirika A.

Yelp
I recommend going! This place is so much fun! I've gone two times already with friends and ended up staying more than planned lol. They also have one of the most complete song choices!

Run Y.

Yelp
I will say their management is pretty bad and messy. I made a phone call for a reservation at 9 pm but after couple of mins I got another call that they will only be available at 10:30 pm and thus I update my reservation. After that, around 10 pm I got another call asking why I did not make it for the 9 pm booking and telling me that there is no availability. I'm not angry about it at all but I believe this is not the correct way to run the business. I don't think any of my friend will come again.

Sara V.

Yelp
This was a ton of fun. I came here with my Japanese language meetup group and we sang songs in several different languages. There were options to pick songs in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. The rooms are spacious and the chairs are comfy. You could comfortably have 15 ish people in the room we were in. The bathrooms were moderately clean, too. I think the worst part about this place was that most of the alcohol was extremely expensive ($20) and the cheapest alcohol you could get was a $4.50 Mike's Hard Lemonade. I ordered the latter because it made me laugh to order a Mike's Hard Lemonade at the age I am...and because I was cheap. It'd be nice to have a decent drink less than $20 to shake off the karaoke jitters but that just means I have to drink before I come back again, I guess.

Amy T.

Yelp
This place is okay. the selection of music could've been bigger. I think the food & alcohol there is a bit pricey. one complaint i did have, is that one day i called last minute to book a small room at 11pm and upon getting there I was told they were all full and couldn't get to me until 1am. I don't understand why they couldn't tell me that over the phone instead of making me go all the way there just to tell me that...

Joan H.

Yelp
If you want to get a room during the evening, especially on a weekend, call ahead at least the day before to ensure you get a room! EnKore is popular! Rooms are fairly pricey, which is offset a bit since you pay by room and not by person. On average it amounts to around $8/person although it varies depending on the number of people you have and the size of room you end up getting. They have a really up-to-date karaoke system that has songs in several languages (English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese,) and it fairly simple to figure out since there is a touch screen panel you work with. You can order drinks and have them in your room which is nice, but be prepared to pay 3-4 times more than retail value for drinks like soju. The guys that work the front are usually fairly helpful although I get the vibe that they don't really care a whole lot about providing that great of service. Well you'll almost never need them anyway:P Bathrooms and karaoke rooms are always clean. Overall a really fun way to spend a night!

C N.

Yelp
We were here for 3 hours (6-9pm). We were told that the rooms are 15/hr total before 8pm. And 32/he after 8pm. The selection of music sucked and the people running the place were extremely passive and inattentive. We only ordered 3 waters and one cocktail, and our bill for the night came out to over $100. There was a 15% surcharge added as well. When we got our bill, the guy at the front desk didn't seem to care. We received much better service at Rock Box. They have more up to date equipment, better selection in music, and were still lower in price after we ordered 5 cocktails and 2 food items. We will not be back to enKore, and we would highly recommend that you as well bring your business elsewhere.

Yelp
We came here just as they were opening up on Friday night so not as busy. We got a small room which seems quite spacious for the 4 of us. I'm sure you can fit 8 people in there. Room was clean, the song selections were quite vast. They had a lot of 90s songs that my friends and I enjoy. Weird that there is no remote but you have to squat in front of the little monitor to enter your song selection. I guess I won't be singing karaoke here when my knees fail me when I'm older. Service was good. There's only one guy there so if you need something just go find him. There is no timer to let you know your time is up, so you better be on top of it if you don't want to get charged more. I think this place is a good option on the eastside. Not as amazing technology like we had in Hawaii 10 years ago but I can live with this. p.s. I really wished these places have more sound proof rooms so people won't be subject to my screaming voice.

Jonathan G.

Yelp
I organized a birthday party there for a group of friend. We went a Thursday night at around 10pm and stayed until they closed. We loved it and had a great time. The room was spacious for 8 people, the karaoke system is modern (exactly the same at the much pricer Stone Lounge in Bellevue), it had good ventilation, clean and the staff was really friendly. On a Thursday night, they were very little customers. We ordered finger food and drinks. They were not fancy but more than adequate. We were loud, sang a lot, danced. Overall great experience. Best part was the bill. The room rental was only $23 for an hour and the food/drinks were reasonable. The bill included a tip of 15%. We divided the bill by eight and each of us paid a small amount by credit card. I highly recommend this place! I was nervous because we had previously gone to Stone Lounge Karaoke in Bellevue. But this place is as good if not better for a fraction of the price.

Yelp
Very disappointed in my experience coming here and how this place does business. Came here for a 8pm reservation and wasn't put in a room until about 8:20. Granted it was busy at that time, what's the point of having multiple employees and reservation times if you're not going to take care of your customers? We decided to only sing for 1 hour, and usually at every other karaoke place we go to, they cut you off when the timer runs out. Not this place. They'd rather you keep going unknowingly and then up-charge you because you didn't watch the clock yourself. We left around 9:35 because we were suspicious. I got billed for 1.5 hours instead of the 1 hour my group wanted. Wow. They claimed we went to our room right after 8pm when all my friends know we started later. Oh, and they automatically added tip to the bill. FOR THREE PEOPLE. WTH?! Who does business like this? If it were just any one of these things that happened, maybe I wouldn't have cared so much. But all these things added up made me feel the need to write about this. I can't recommend this place to anyone.

Aimei Y.

Yelp
It is Fri night, and plenty parking but rooms are mostly full. We wanted to upgrade to a bigger room, but there aren't any. So we try to fit into the small room. The staff suggested that we take more stools into the room. The wireless mics were failing in the ! Middle, prob not enough electricity charged. It is the wired one that was helpful. However the staff only brought in one. The light can be dimmed that's fine, but the sound system keeps on having echoes. Which was a bit annoying. Bathroom was not as clean. That could be improved. Overall it is good, price was good, given we had many of us to share the cost. I'd say 3.5 stars.

Lancer K.

Yelp
One of the easiest karaoke machines I've ever used. It makes selecting international versus domestic music easy. (HUGE benefit.) You can select by language and gender of the singer as well. I wish the mobile phone integration worked. The rooms are clean and in good shape. I wish the LCD's were larger. The service is good. I and my friends enjoyed ourselves very much.

Grace W.

Yelp
Wow, I guess not very many people like this place. I didn't think it was a particularly bad karaoke lounge. It is a little far if you're coming from Seattle. They have plenty of parking in the front. It is located in a strip mall. The facility is clean but it is pretty small. There are just a couple of private rooms that they rent out. I thought each individual room was pretty spacious. It fit our party of 15. They were pretty responsible and checked all our ids when people in our group started to drink. Their equipment wasn't that great though because at the intro of each song, it wouldn't play the music. We had to ask the guy to come in and help us. Aside from this, I thought my experience was great. This was probably mostly because it was super cheap. For our group of 15 and staying there fro 2.5 hours, it came down to about $9 per person. Not bad. It is probably the cheapest karaoke place that I've been to.

Jennifer I.

Yelp
I'm updating my rating to 5 stars, all because I got a nice call from Wei, EnKore's manager. Obviously he read my previous review, and took the time and effort to track my reservation and gotten my contact info. He apologized for the miscommunication, and offered a nice comp. It's definitely a great gesture, and he went above and beyond what I would have expected. Again, EnKore is a great karaoke lounge in terms of song selection. I like that it's a place I can bring kids to and have a fun time. And the fact that the manager cares enough to want to make customers happy. I'll definitely go back again.

Amanda L.

Yelp
Terrible service!! Came with a group of 4 and asked if they had any rooms available. Before going in, we saw a group of 10+ people leave the building. They started talking to each other in their language and then after making the deciosn, turned us away.Took them 2 minutes to tell us they were full. Should have been obvious to them if they were already full. We've called other karaoke places and they were all full as well but gave us a time slot when the next room was available for us. We had a feeling they were lying to us since we had a small group, so we decided to call them while sitting in the parking lot, figuring out where we should go. Asked if rooms available for a group or 6+ and told us they will have a room avaible in the next 30 minutes. They judge by group size and decide who should go in. They are terrible people! Never will go to this place.

Hung H.

Yelp
No... if I have more options. I won't come here. The sounds system are not good. The lighting of the room is either turn it on which is super bright or turn it all off which is super dark! The room was too warm!

Yefei L.

Yelp
Great equipment and good service. Most importantly, GREAT PRICE!!! They have happy hour everyday before 8pm and the price is 10 per hour. Honestly I was surprised by the bill when My husband checked out after 2 hours singing - when we karaoke several times when we are in DC, our 2 hour bills are usually like 70 or 80 something! Recommend!

Michael C.

Yelp
I came here with low expectations due to some of the reviews that I read previously but I was pleasantly surprised! The rooms are really big and clean. The songs selection is pretty robust and they sound system is really loud. The snack and drink menu could use some work as it is really small. The staff was responsive and answered all of my questions. Was it Nordstrom level service? No but it's a karaoke joint and I came to have a good time and that's what I did!

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
don't come here for the drinks.. its weird and over priced. Come to enkore, to rock your hear out :) happy hour is a steal. $25 an hour for a small room. Has quite the selection of "ENGLISH" songs (yay!!!) haha cause I can't read anything else. Nice, clean, new rooms. A lot of the songs also have the actual music videos, which is always a big thumbs up! The only thing I suggest, is have a second way to select songs, instead of individually going up and song selecting through the large "ipad-ish" screen. Song book lists is a classic, and gives the karaoke vibe. Stick with it, and at least other people who are waiting to sing, can also have a go at song selecting :)

Hyung Won Y.

Yelp
Pretty good price during happy hours. I don't think their rooms get booked up, unless it is peak times like Friday or Saturday nights. But it is good to make reservations. I just wish they had mic covers.

S R.

Yelp
The best: cleanliness and price - super affordable! They have happy hour all day Sunday! The meh: tech/system, seating arrangement, lack of English songs and Korean songs. The song selection is biased towards Chinese songs, and I had a hard time navigating their system. Unlike most karaokes I've been to, this one does not use the typical oversized remote control with song books, and instead uses a tiny touchscreen installed onto the wall. The difficulty of using this system is as follows: 1. Only one person can search for a song at a time. With the old system of song books and remote controls, more than at least two people could be looking for a song (one with the remote control, and one going through the book). This creates a delay in creating the list of songs 2. As one is searching for songs, they strain their neck looking at the screen in one position/angle. Also, the room my friends and I were in had an awkward seating arrangement: one long line of seats on one side of the wall, the screen on the other. Usually karaokes like these use L-shape form that allows people to look at others while singing. I wonder if it was just the room we were in. Lastly, the super cool techy system does not support multiple languages when one is searching for a song. Which makes it super hard for me to look up a Korean artist or song, since there is no Korean keyboard option. I also noticed a lot of the Korean artists were listed in Chinese characters or listed twice, once in English-spelt names and another with a combination of English and Chinese. Super confusing. The collection of English songs were pretty decent, but I still found myself struggling to find some of my favorite songs. For the price, definitely a great deal, especially if you intend to sing mostly top 100 pop songs and Chinese songs -- they have a great collection of those!

Pearl W.

Yelp
I've gone to a lot of karaoke places. I thought it was kind of weird that when we came in and they told us we had to wait an hour. We decided to wait and just hung out in their waiting area. They had a room ready in 20 mins? We were glad about that. We sang for a little over an hour. I didn't like how they didn't have a timer to tell you how much time you had left like other places. We ended up going over and getting charged extra. We were never checked up on to see if things were ok. When we were leaving we noticed a call bell which would have been nice if they pointed out in the first place. The facility is nice and they had more variety for song choices. The customer service was not good.

Aubrey P.

Yelp
I've been to a number of karaoke places within the last year and this was my first Japanese-style one, where it's nothing but private booths. It's definitely very different if you're used to singing in front of a crowd. I went there with 3 others when our original plans fell through. The atmosphere is pretty cool and club-like even though you won't be spending much time in a public areas at all. They do have a food and drink menu; we didn't try the food as it was late but their drinks were interesting, lots of fun Asian stuff to try besides what you usually see at other bars (Kirin, Sapporo, etc.). They stop serving alcohol a few hours before they close but that doesn't mean you have to leave. Their song selection is quite interestingly varied. If you're not looking for anything Asian there's a lot you won't bother looking at, but if you are they had entire sections of Korean, Japanese, and I believe Chinese and Tagalog if I remember correctly. Their English selection is mostly good, but what was interesting is they had a ton of songs we'd never expected to see that were more niche, and then there were some more common songs we didn't see. The songs range from having official music videos to concert footage to off-brand music videos. The vocals ranged just as much between the actual artist or a cover singer, not that that matters too much at a karaoke place since you'll be singing over it. The subtitled lyrics were usually accurate but there were a few songs I know myself that didn't line up which what was actually being sung, this wasn't common though. The only issue we ran into was a few songs were sped up by about a half-measure and we couldn't figure out why. We thought it was perhaps an options that'd been selected on their digital menus but were told they don't have that option. It didn't ruin songs but it did throw you off when trying to sing something you already know well. This was only for maybe 20 or 30 minutes though so it didn't last the whole night. I'm glad we were able to find this place after potentially having our karaoke night ruined. I'm not sure if it will be our first choice in the future but it's definitely great to know we have another good option and if you're looking for a real Asian karaoke lounge this is it.

Kimberly H.

Yelp
The happy hour is a great price only $10/hour. It's weird that they include a tip in the final price but not a big deal if you go during happy hour and save anyways. The room itself is only ok, not cutesy or well decorated like some places I've seen. But once again if you go during happy hour then it's still worth the price.

Jungwook B.

Yelp
I went there with my friends for the first time because it was close. The price was $30 per hour which I thought was exorbitant but the worst part was that for buying just THREE BEERS they deemed it necessary to charge a 15% service fee--which wasn't the part I had qualms with, but they charged 15% of the TOTAL BILL instead of the bill owed for alcohol ordered! They came into our room ONCE to drop off the beers and scammed their way into an easy $7 of "tips". Also, you'd better watch out: they don't tell you, but they start charging BY THE MINUTE the second you get into the room. They tried to fast-talk their way out of giving me a receipt too, presumably so they could keep it off the books. Be wary so you don't get fleeced.

Leah C.

Yelp
I love this place!!!! I've been here a few times and every time I come it's always fun and full of energy .

Sze H.

Yelp
Enkore has lots of song choices! It's very fun, and I've never had a better time! I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone! There are many choices for food there too! The customer service is spot on!

Missy W.

Yelp
I went with a couple coworkers during happy hour. The room was nice, good sound system and more than enough songs ( both old and new). We ended up staying longer than planned because we were having so much fun. Service was average, but the attendant was nice and the wine was good. I like that you are not required to buy food or drinks like at some places. I can't wait to go back!

IRENE C.

Yelp
The room is comfy and clean. Good air condition especially if you going in summer time. Plenty selection of songs. Price is affortable.

Danyang F.

Yelp
First, they try to get away with their promotion which would reduce our bill by 22 dollars. They charged us much more until we ourselves figured out and demand their review. Second, it's way too ridiculous for a business to charge for hot water by cups that tasted like water directly got from the coffee pot. They charge each cup 1 dollar. And their microphone sucks too by making annoying sound continuously. Anyway, go to the new place called the Stone lounge. Never come back here.

Ryan H.

Yelp
The songs seem to have had their vocals removed with software. It's clear because not all of the words get removed and there are other pieces that get cut out (some lead guitars for example). That was kind of lame but they still sound decent. The place was clean and well maintained. The only thing that bothered me about the room was that all the seats (booth-style) were on one side of the room, with the screens on the other, which made socializing kind of awkward.

Allie S.

Yelp
When I used to go to enKore in the U. District, Seattle didn't have very many karaoke boxes -- now, we have a ton of them. And enKore doesn't feel like it's really kept up with the times [except the fact enKore Bellevue is a 21+ facility]. This place LOOKS really nice. And the staff is nice, but that's not enough to keep my karaoke allegiance [which is a shame, because this place is SUPER close to my apartment and I was psyched about potentially hosting my birthday party there next month!]. Although they utilize a touchscreen system, it's nowhere near as user friendly as Rock Box's iPads. That, and this is definitely targeting Asian users, as there are not a whole lot of English songs to choose from -- and although I know enough Japanese to occasionally stumble my way through a song... even that category is lacking. DDD and I came here this evening and partook in some karaoke goodness. The company was great and of course singing is fun, but it was unnecessarily difficult to find things to sing and many of the songs are labeled as MV -- which means that it's just the music video. So if you want to rap along to Mo' Money Mo' Problems you'll be sad to find you actually can't. Sucks to be you! I'm disappointed but I'm glad this place exists. So I'll give it a three. For now... If I need karaoke and don't want to venture across I-90, I'll probably be sticking to 2am.

Yelp
Recently, I had my karaoke itch scratched... if only just a little bit. Feeling rather spontaneous to sing/rap a few, me and Allie went here to check 'em out... ...Ooooo, aaaah! They definitely got the fancy digs going on... but the combo isn't complete without a great room experience: meh. Comfy and spacious. However, as Allie summed it up so well, their english selection is rather sparse when compared to other more extensive-listed places like Marco Polo Bar and Rock Box. Also, some of the lyrics to ones I've found are 10% off - also, MIB's tempo is too fast! DOUBLE-U-TEE-EFF? The list queue is easy/fast to control. The bottom line? We probably had more fun [trying to] navigate their wall-mounted foo-foo touchscreen than singing. I do give them props to having a decent amount of original MV footage (like Superstition). Oh! And the sound doesn't seem quite right and they still need to add door locks to their bathrooms.

Yelp
You DON'T have to be 21 to come here to sing! I came here with my group of my friends in which some were under 21 - they check your ID just in case anyone wants to buy alcoholic drinks. A little pricey of a place $27 per hour for the small room - but what can I do? I really wanted to karaoke and Seattle was out of the way. The staff was friendly, the rooms are clean, and their new touch-screen system is interesting to use. But there's a lot more song selections if you just use the older system with the books. The song selection is good. When leaving though and given the price we had to pay, the guy kept saying "This doesn't include tip....." which was a weird thing to say considering they didn't do much.. I guess it's a decent place if you want to stay on the Eastside and in the mood to sing.

Yelp
Karaoke selection is fine, audio/room quality is also as good as any other place, but the staff are really uptight. Each Enkore place has a "$20 or more" fee for bringing outside drink in. The spirit of this is that so you don't bring your own alcohol/water in so you buy theirs while you sing karaoke once you've rented a room, and I can jive with that. What I can't jive with is getting charged that fee (plus tax!) for eating outside their building, and then being given the reasoning "you saw the sign, it's outside, you ate here, pay the fee". That's pretty messed up, especially since other branches apply the spirit of it rather than trying to nickle and dime their customers. Never coming back to this branch, hope the $22 was worth it. Edit: I would have been fine had the staff even approached me to say "hey, knock it off or we'll charge you" while I was eating. I'd have either just thrown it out or left and come back in a bit. Instead they decided to sneakily add on the fee; it wasn't even itemized on the bill.

Yelp
Great time if you go during happy hour and before it gets crowded. In general, it's not super clean, but still - you can't beat a $10 price for a private room

Yelp
Last week during my birthday, this fucking store charge me and my friends for like over a thousands bucks. Just for sing and drinking a little beer. Definitely a bunch of thieves, I would not recommend anyone to come here. Not to mention that the quality of their service and Kareoke is super bad, and the food here is always not fresh and cold. PERIOD, I would never come here again

Yelp
This is the worst karaoke I've ever been to. Although the opening time is 6 the place has been closed and its currently 7. They did not leave any notice by the door however, the lights are on. They don't even pick up the phone calls. Unless there was an urgent emergency, this should not be happening because many people were waiting outside and left with disappointment. Thanks for the fun time! I really enjoyed waiting outside :)

Yelp
We were Eastside and had a need for Friday night Karaoke so we booked a room at Enkore. The rooms were very spacious and the equipment is really well kept but the English selection was sort of pitiful. Also after every song a screen in Korean would come up and say something about a score of 0 points and then reload before bringing up the next song. We were in there for about 2 hours and for the 4 of us it came out to around $12.50 each. Not bad. The rooms are $25 per hour no matter how many people you have so if you bring more, it would be cheaper and the rooms can certainly accommodate more than our small party. No one came to check on us, nor was there a phone on the wall and none of us wanted to leave the room so we didn't end up ordering any drinks or even water. Though a bottle of beer was $4 I probably would've ordered a couple if someone had come in and asked. Perhaps it's just not the way it's done there. If we had better knowledge of Japanese or Korean songs I'm certain we would've had a better time. For us though, we'll probably just go across the water for our karaoke needs.

Yelp
Had a great time at Encore Karaoke. Our family used to enjoy going to the Karaoke lounge when we lived in Japan. We were happy to find this place near our house. They have an extensive selection of old and modern songs, both Americans and Japanese hits, and it looks like many other Asian languages. The set up is just like the places we used to go to, lots of fun.

Yelp
I would rate EnKore as 2 1/2 stars. This was the second time that we tried to come to EnKore. The first time, the machines wouldn't work, so we left. The second time, again, the machines didn't work. However, they were able to reboot the machine in a few minutes. Besides the reliability factor, the place is actually decent. They charge by the room ($23/hr, higher on the weekends), and the rooms are pretty big. As others have mentioned, I wish they had an alternative way to select songs (i.e. a song book or an iPad). They also have a limited amount of food and drink choices. As far as the selection of songs go, it is pretty good as well. It is a little difficult trying to search for songs, though. I like the fact that they play the actual music video and music during the song. If you are a small group, then heading to Rock Box is probably cheaper, but if you are on the Eastside and have a decent-sized group, then try EnKore out.

Yelp
So so very upset. Made a reservation at 8 and when it came time for arrival, they said it wasn't available until 10. Super disappointed since I came here all the time and the usual guy is so nice. This front guy was super rude and customer service was non existent. For god sakes, it's was Christmas... not happy.

Yelp
My experience here wasn't an awful time but it was a vibe kill due to the workers. I went here about a week ago with my friends, the atmosphere and environment was great and it was very clean. However, while my friends and I were singing, two workers came into our booth not ONCE but TWICE to tell us we had 20 minutes left in a period of 2 minutes. The first time the employee came in, we appreciated the time warning but when the second worker came in one minute later to tell us the exact same thing, he said "someone is coming at ___PM and you have 19 minutes left". It was as if they didn't want my friends and I business at all-- did they want to kick us out? After an hour and 20 minutes went by, we were never told or warned about the huge over charge if you were to go over a certain amount. The employees at the front had PLENTY of opportunities to let us know how much the fees will be and yet, still failed to communicate with their customers. It's sad to go out with your friends and enjoy the night when the place you decide to give business to gives off a non-communicative and attitude that shows no appreciation of the business being given to them!!!

Yelp
Food, and drink selection is awful they have 9 items to choose from for food, and the drinks are limited unless you like sake. The Raman was very good had great flavor and spice. The service was good. Some artists had very limited song choices unless you were a poplar pop group. If you're looking for a good selection of food or drinks this place isn't for you. If you want a private room with a group of friends then this place is great. The rooms are clean, and well spaced for 10ish people to enjoy their terrible singing voice.
