The Seattle Karaoke Guide

"It’s easy to breeze past Enkore since its only evidence of existence is a sticker slapped on the building above the entrance. Up the stairs at this second-story University District karaoke spot is an abundance of soju, private rooms that are easy to book online, and a fun off-campus-housing vibe that feels thoroughly appropriate for its proximity to UW. Are the machines decades old and difficult to operate? Yes. Will someone spill plum wine on your Blundstones? Yes. Will it be one of the greatest nights of your year? Also yes." - aimee rizzo

Genuinely one of the worst karaoke places I’ve ever been to. The workers are rude. They messed up my reservations multiple times like messing up dates and/or times and every time that happens, they blamed it on my end. I showed the workers the proof of reservation but they still blamed the reservation error on our end. I tried to asked them when the next availble time and they simply just ignored my friends and I so we always just end up leaving. Never apologized for their errors.

Went around 11:30. 6 of us fit in the room comfortably, but the room was so hot! Our clothes got all sticky and humid. We were sweating profusely...we also had soju so that didn't help. There were fans in the room but it was blowing the hot air around. At that time all the food was sold out but you can buy some snacks at their little mart. We went there to sing kpop songs. They had all the songs we wanted to sing. If they had the korean lyrics in English letters so we can sing along like the ones I've been to in Korea, I would've given this a 5 star review. We still had a good time though!

The location in U district is closed!!! everywhere online but yelp has this location posted as “opened”, but it is permanently closed. if you go to the website it says “not taking reservations” and if you call the number it will not go through

Spent $182 for 3 hours for three people, two bottles of soju, a spirite, and a water, plus whatever gratuity was added. Fun place. Really really really expensive. If you don’t feel like spending a ton of money, go elsewhere. But it’s incredibly fast service. They have a ton of songs and the vibes were great if you don’t care about fancy karaoke places. But the reason why I give 3 stars is for the price-while I know I checked before hand it was still a shock to see but as long as you split it with friends it’s not that bad. Parking sucks around there but they close at 1am and around 10-11 is when the streets are more empty. I wish I didn’t spend so much money there but I still had a blast.

This store has unreasonable charges, please be careful not ⚠️ to come. When they came in, no one told them that they were not allowed to bring their own water or anything, probably they put a paper in the corner that they were not allowed to bring drinks. Then at the end of the charge, it was mandatory to charge for bringing your own drinks. The attitude is very arrogant. This charge should be notified to the guest, not obtained by this method of pit money!

They have a site that lets you browse and add songs and control the playback. However it's pretty buggy and they don't have all the songs you might want. Also, they don't provide water. Instead, they charge $2 for bottled water and don't let you bring your own. BUT they don't really check when you come in, so you should bring your own anyway.

It's super sketchy and gross. It needs a good deep cleaning. My mic was dead and the guy didn't tell us anything about how to use the room or equipment. I had to get a new battery. So it took probably 15 mins before we got started. We had fun though but that's more because we made it fun with what we had. They had music from different countries which was nice. Ended up getting charged for 5 extra mins. It scratched the itch but I'd drive downtown for a better experience.

Very low key and relaxed atmosphere. No bells and whistles like some karaoke box places, but they have an extensive music selection-new stuff and classics. Easy to manage system. Multiple language options, including English.
