James Beard Award-Winning Chef Angela Pinkerton Is Set to Wind Down Her Popular East Bay Bakery, Pie Society | Eater SF

"Originally opened in the space in 2017 as a restaurant and wine bar, Enoteca La Storia later sought to convert the location into a food hall in 2021 due to the pandemic and is now part of the Littlest Little Italy configuration." - Dianne de Guzman

Google
The food at this restaurant is very delicious, but according to their official website, it’s described as American-style Italian cuisine. So, whether it’s authentic Italian food is uncertain. The location is tucked away in an unassuming corner surrounded by outdoor decorations, making it easy to miss if not recommended by someone. Personally, I really enjoyed their Cacio e Pepe (I might have misspelled it). Their appetizer sampler is also highly recommended.

We were there to celebrate our niece’s 19th birthday this Friday night. It was a poor experience overall, with the saving grace being that the food was spectacular. The best Italian food I’ve had in the States. But the service was unbelievably slow. The servers were good people working very hard but the restaurant was clearly not staffed to handle the reservations they give out. To have to pay $100 in automatic gratuities - some 5% staff fee and 20% automatic gratuity - is the perfect reward for Bay Area patrons like us. No where else in the world would such a shoddy experience then expect such an automatic service fee. Food was spectacular though. Maybe we got unlucky, if you get better service this can be a great experience. Personally, I doubt we’d go back.

Google
I was looking for a private room to host a board dinner and from the beginning Joe (owner) gave us five star service. He was accommodating, responsive and easy to work with. I did not attend the event myself but the feedback was exceptional. My team said the food was excellent, and the service was great. I would highly recommended Enoteca for your private event.

Google
Had a gift card they wouldn’t accept because they got a new system. Technically that’s against the law. Gift cards cannot expire. Won’t be back. This used to be one of my favorite places. I loved out of the area, but was back for a visit. Management did nothing.

Google
Nice place for a fancy outing. Love the vibe. Service was pretty slow and they kept forgetting things. Also the price was extremely expensive for what it was, so docking stars for those. Otherwise, food was good and vibe was fun. I also enjoyed the wine flight, which I thought was more reasonably priced than the food funny enough.

Google
I’ve come here a few times and the food & wine don’t disappoint! The staff is friendly but sometimes slow. There are a lot of regulars here so they tend to be very chatty with them and it’s hard to get their attention. But other than that, this place is great to sit at the bar and enjoy a glass of wine and some meats and cheeses.

Elena B.

Google
I was here for some wine and an appetiser. The lady at the bar who is originally from Romania was super helpful and friendly. I had a good time. Sometime I feel out of place at the bars but not here. Everything was great and comfortable

Maribell G.

Google
It’s good but expensive for what you get. A burrata salad is the most expensive in the whole Bay Area. Cassio Pepe was great and the tuna salad great too. Election of wines is ok. And tiramisu was good. They have a patio and are pet friendly. They have heaters outside. Service is not the best.

Yelp
Enoteca is a hidden gem- between a mortgage company and a home goods store lies this quaint Italian restaurant with scratch made Italian dishes and an extensive wine list- and wine wall. Mihaela is incredible and knows her wine and wine pairings. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Enoteca La Storia definitely has down scale cafe vibe run by kids.... Not very clean (tables not bussed), tables not wiped off, windows dirty, etc. Has a lot of unrealized potential with their space including nice patio. Service is challenging with the staff being very very young both in age and experience. Slow to engage, doesn't keep order straight, asked for setups, need to tie their shoe laces, and has to be reminded of things. Takes along time to get teas and Parmesan. The later was too late since I already finished with my carbonara. Carbonara was good but a bit under sauced. The charcuterie platter was uninspired. Burrata was very good. Over all we were left wanting. Some credit to staffed that they comped a glass of wine.

Yelp
I'm so grossed out! The entire time we were there every table that sat down outside had to ask for the table to be wiped down. I was seated when they wiped my table down and the young kid wiped the crumbs from the table off into my lap. There were red wine stains all over the bottom of my sparkling wine glass. It's so dark inside that no wonder they missed it. An older man who worked there dropped the cloth they were using to clean a table on the ground and picked it up and started wiping the tables with it. Finally, the young kid was sticking his hands in the used glasses to clear them rather than using sing a tray. Then he brought out someone's plate without washing his hands. He's literally getting the backwash from multiple people on someone's plate. I love that they have good gluten free options but the sanitation is terrible. They need to improve dramatically. To the owner: I hate writing negative reviews and if you can assure me that you'll take steps to improve then I can remove the post but at this point I think people need to know that your staff needs more training for this to be a clean place to eat.

Yelp
I love Italian food, so when I saw the squid ink pasta with cherry tomatoes, I was super excited. However, it was made with olive oil rather than with a rich tomato sauce. It wasn't as good as what expected. The Caesar salad was good. The pasta was also very good, but it wasn't the way I expected it to be. They were quite busy with two large parties so they were a bit busy. It's a very nice restaurant. I think this is a great place to grab drinks with friends and grab some appetizers. Overall, it's a good restaurant.

Yelp
I've been here twice now and both times it was a great experience. There are lots of good menu choices, for snacks, sharing or a full meal. The meatballs are fantastic, as are the bruschettas. Plenty of wine choices too, by the bottle or by the glass. But the service is always excellent. Highly recommended!

Yelp
Awesome wine bar/wine shop right next to downtown Los Gatos! They have a huge variety of wines available by the glass and bottle, as well as a few flight options, and lots of food - including a good variety of small bites, entrees, and even a build your own charcuterie section. Our group of 3 all opted for flights and some of their crostinis. I went with the boot tasting, which featured a nice variety of Italian wines, and the crostini sampler, which came with one of each from the menu. We had plenty of options for seating including at the bar, outside, or in a room to the side. Each area had its own vibe good for a different occasion/how you're feeling for the day. When we came on a Sunday afternoon there was only one server working, she was friendly and got everything out to us quickly, and didn't make us feel rushed at all even once we realized she was closing down for the day. Will absolutely be coming back here for more wine and to try more from their food menu!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place for a date night with the hubs. We wanted to try a new place in Los Gatos area and Italian sounded good to us! When we got there, it was located in a small plaza and tucked in the corner. Seemingly desolate and not busy with diners, we were a bit hesitant to dine there. However we decided to sit down and give it a try. We started with the burrata appetizer with the tomatoes ($5 extra), and it was so delicious. We ordered a couple pasta entrees and they also came out super fast. I got the aglio oglio and it was mindblowing! Wonderfully flavorful, full of garlic and enough richness yet not oily, and also perfectly al dente. My only negative feedback was that there wasn't more of it. My husband's lasagna was good but not the best. We were left satisfied, but not extremely full. They seemed like they had an extensive wine menu, and their charcuterie boards seemed interesting. I would come again!

Yelp
A little put off when I got my check. Not a huge deal but enough that I won't return here. Reference my photo. Price for cake 4.00. Price on ticket 5.00. 1 dollar? Not a huge deal... but think about if they're doing that with all the customers. It adds up. Cost of living charge? 5%?! WTH! So for two glasses of wine and a "bite" of cake 53.00. Cause I did leave a nice tip. Not worth it! Won't be back.

Yelp
The place was Eh! Food was fair. Portions are small. Restaurant has an odd layout! Bruschetta was not that great. Carbonara pasta dish was horrible. Worse I've ever had in my life. I felt sorry for the noodles! Cacio De Pepe was good. Service was slow and the hostess was a snot. Aldo's a few doors down is much better! Oh, they added a cost of living charge on our bill. We reduced the tip because of this!

Yelp
This place was a hidden gem~ back when it was less busy, it was really nice grabbing a drink and some sandwiches or other light bites and just relaxing and catching up with friends. It's a nice laid back, not pretentious atmosphere with delicious food. I wish I lived closer now to enjoy this place more.

Yelp
A great wine bar with great food. We got a cheese and meat sampler tray, a bottle of white and a table outside. Nice ambiance and pleasant service. My favorite wine bar in Los Gatos.

Yelp
Just finished dinner here. We are first timers to this restaurant and cannot wait to come back here. The portion size is just right and the food is amazing. Can't wait to come back to taste their wine and enjoy another wonderful meal with family and friends.

Yelp
Such a local gem and they have a new updated menu which is just great! Parking is always available and there's a Tesla supercharger behind the building. Really welcoming staff and it's a blast to sit at the bar

Yelp
I'm not sure that Enoteca knows they make the absolute best meatballs in the entire Bay Area !!!! I'd say the entire state but I haven't tried enough in socal yet... but darn close I'd put money on it.. Seevice is always good and it's a retreat hidden in plain sight to just go have a simple glass of wine...

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Great location and love outdoor seating. I've been coming with friends for some time and finally joined the club. I just brought my daughter for our first member peek and not too impressed. Little disturbed seeing the uninvited dust bunnies that joined us. So gross. Please do regular cleaning. This is not ok.

Rodrigo L.

Yelp
The food quality was barely OK, not authentic Italian at all. The service was poor, and the ambience poor! I think I'll never be back. Some details that make our experience even worse: we had to ask more than once just to get the menu, the bathroom was not very clean, and when putting water glasses on the table, they threw them from one side of the table, to the other.
google avatar

Deep K.

Yelp
Los Gatos downtown gem. Food is good but on the expensive side. If you have club membership you get free wine with your food so we sometimes go during lunch hours to sit outside and enjoy the serene setting. Parking is easy to find and service is good. Flat breads are the best for price value.

Yelp
We received an email that Enoteca would start serving brunch so we made sure we made reservations to be the first to try it. It did not disappoint! The eggs in purgatory had the perfect amount of garlic and spice in the sauce they were in, cooked to perfection, with perfectly toasted bread drizzled in olive oil. Obviously we opted to add the mozzarella and I would recommend 1000%, it was so fresh and such a great compliment to the dish. My partner also enjoyed the eggs Benedetto, noting similarly that the eggs were cooked perfectly and that the dishes ingredients come together perfectly. We also had the mimosa vivace which was amazing, the owner created the reduction himself and literally hand picked the ingredients! It was amazing! We got to speak with the owner for awhile and you can really tell he has a passion for the food and drinks he presents. We had such a great time we signed up to be wine club members, will definitely be back for this brunch again! (And again!)

Yelp
Food was 6/10, tortellini supposed to be in whipped Gorgonzola cream, but I didn't feel Gorgonzola taste at all. Lasagna was kinda dry, Pinsa was ok, not wow. Service is ok, can't say more. The only good thing was non alcoholic wines, perfect option for pregnant women. Ambiance is calm, seems like people come here to enjoy wine and cold cheese and meat plates.
google avatar

Yelp
Took a reservation online and emailed a confirmation. When we arrived we were told they were closed for a private party. Not a good way to treat customers.
google avatar

Theresa D.

Yelp
We stopped in for a glass of Prosecco and a bite before dinner. The bruschetta, recommended by the proprietor, with whom we had a lovely chat, was delectable - fresh flavors, vibrant colors and textures. The wine was so nice we had to share a second glass. Delightful experience.

Yelp
One of my go-to places for date nights. Majority of the time have good to great experiences. This one fell short, unfortunately. Let's not dismiss the entire experience. Host was great, she greeted us immediately with a smile. Let her know we had reservations set and she sat us in the back room. The bus girl greeted us with a smile and gave us waters. Off to a great night so far.. 8 minutes rolls by, no server has greeted us or taken our order. I'm observing and it looks like there are two servers that are managing the back room. One is an Italian lady (great personality and has served us on multiple occasions) and a young Caucasian man (whom we've never seen before - assuming he is relatively new since we've been coming here for over a decade). My wife actually starts getting impatient which is rare as I am usually the one that is more critical. I let her know that it's a busier day and let's wait a little more. After 15 minutes of being sat, our favorite server greets us and apologizes for the wait. She takes our food order and gets a few tastings to try as we debate on which Sonoma county bottle we want to order. Few minutes later, she brings the tastings and we decide that the Cabernet is what we prefer. We are anxiously waiting to let her know which one we prefer but we don't see her back for another 5-10 minutes. As I was commenting to my wife that the newer supporting server did not acknowledge us the entire time, he may have picked up through our body language that we needed assistance and all of a sudden and asked if we wanted another round. Had he been paying attention, he would've realized we recently got sat and did not even get a drink order in. We then asked him that we wanted a bottle of the Sonoma Cab. Food came out before the wine - hence the timeline of everything and our original server came back with the wine afterwards. Et Cetera Cab from Sonoma county - highly recommend this at this price point. Fruit forward, dry wine with a mellow finish. It was an easy wine to drink and enjoyable. Their menu continues to change every visit but was glad to hear that they still offered items that was no longer visible on their most current menu we saw tonight. We ordered the piccolo, crostini sampler, and Cesar salad. Kudos to the ones who prepared the dishes. All we'e made to perfection. The level of consistency maintains and that's why we continue to come back. Our biggest disappointment was the service. On this Saturday night, my observation was that there was a combination of a server who takes her time to build relationships with her tables and does a fantastic job but during extremely busy times can work against her as there are new tables being sat. Then there was her supporting server - the newer gentlemen who I observed cherry picking tables on who he wants to engage with and ignore - this obviously did not result in the best combo. If you have one gentleman ignoring tables and the other spending time with her tables, it can leave tables sitting at their expense and can lead to a frustrating experience. There's wasn't a clear person on who managed what section or table. As a person who worked in customer service for years, i observed the newer server engage and check on the two tables right in front of me on multiple occasions and did the bare minimum for our table and a newer table sat to our left. I'm not one to call people out but I have an obligation to hold people accountable when I observe things at a restaurant that I enjoy going to. My goal isn't to bash any individual but want to make sure they and management know that people are watching will hold them to a higher standard for a great place like this. Going to take a break from here but will be back at some point. Food is great, wine is great, service was a big miss on this one. We're all human and mistakes can be made. Hopefully the next one is better.

Yelp
Went late lunch and had great time. Good drinks and service. Really liked the good, which we tried sampler and olives. Not fancy but comfortable and roomy. Imagine it could get loud inside if packed? In a strip mall but outside seating at parking lot still nice

Yelp
Delicious and plenty of options for non pasta eaters. Service was excellent/ will definitely go back

Yelp
I crave their mushroom ravioli with truffle oil! Definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants, and they have an excellent wine selection to top it off!

Yelp
Solid and consistent food quality. The service is always very inviting. The ambiance is very inviting and family friendly. My regular place for Italian.

Yelp
Truly enjoyful! Great taste! The host/server are super nice and patient to answer any questions! Seating indoor or outdoor are all available. parking space is convenient.

Yelp
Great for wine and appetizers! My friend and I visited Enoteca La Storia on a Friday afternoon and were seated right away with no reservation. The restaurant busier than we expected, considering it was right around opening time, but service was great. I was tempted to try a wine flight but ended up just ordering the 2019 Platinetti Guido Nebbiolo, which I loved. My friend chose the BelleBolle Sparkling Rosé, which usually isn't my thing, but this one was fantastic! We also decided to split some appetizers - the DiStefano Burrata with Fresh Tomatoes (delicious), Calabrese Shrimp Appetizer (my favorite, SO flavorful), and the Piccolo Cheese Board. The cheeses were pretty good (not my favorite selection ever), but they had tasty gluten free bread and were great about accommodating dietary restrictions. The ambiance was lovely too. Would return to try more wine and food!

Yelp
Had an amazing culinary experience at Enoteca last night! We were honored to meet the owner Joe who was able to explain the amazing flavors and wines to go with each dish. You can tell he is proud of the food and menu, and puts a lot of care into the quality of food that is put out. This is where you come for true, authentic Italian food. There are even pictures hanging above of his family from Sicily! The highlight for me was an arugula salad with smoked salmon that was paired with a Pinot noir. Joe explained that the fatty salmon pairs better with this than white wine; he was right! The capers and lemon were so yummy on this dish; we devoured before snapping a pic. The burrata with basil with different breads was incredible with the red wine that complimented the dish perfectly. The sfogliatella dessert was really something special. What a treat! The 3 of us unanimously agreed that it was the best dessert we've ever had! I will be back just for this special lemon custard pasty. Overall, such a fun spot to enjoy great wines and small plates. Each dish impressed me with how fresh and delicious they were. Can't wait to bring my husband for a date night. Thank you Enoteca !
google avatar

Yelp
I've been to Enoteca in LG a number of times, the food here is really on point. The burrata crostini (w/ Roma tomatoes), Cacio E Pepe and Mushroom Ravioli, also last but not least the a la Carte charcuterie board. Wine is obviously great, I just wish they would consider amping the beer menu a little and this place would be 5*
google avatar

Bob K.

Yelp
Excellent spot with really great creative food. Service was a little bit confused and dishes came out slowly even though the restaurant was pretty empty mid afternoon.
google avatar

Karina M.

Yelp
Loved our experience here! I called ahead to see if they could accommodate a table for three outside on a Saturday evening and when we arrived, they had the table set for us. Service was so friendly and helpful! We ordered the spaghetti e aglio, baked rigatoni, and mushroom ravioli. The spaghetti had a surprising amount of crushed red pepper which gave it quite a kick and the breadcrumbs gave a really nice crunch to the dish. The baked rigatoni was super delicious as was the mushroom ravioli. We also got the mista salad to share which was just the perfect dose of greens. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
Was it for dinner last night February 15 absolutely wonderful dinner wonderful wine from he appetizers to the entrées, very nice. Thank you very much Sam & Nora Hernandez

Yelp
Italian in most places is standard stuff but they created something that truly stands apart. Their spaghetti was made to the level of spice we needed. They even gave extra chilli oil which by itself was very good. Cacio e Pepe was sooo was really good with right amount of spice. Paninis were okay. Went with my friends and ambience was just perfect to catch up with each other and annoy some delicious food and drinks. Would definitely go back to this place for great ambience and food with some good company

Yelp
Located in a small shopping center in downtown Los Gatos, you are greeted by classy decor outside. Indoors has a historic feel, with pictures on the walls of the families of the restaurant founders. The place has an old school relaxed feel with a bar and shelves of wine for sale. The food is very flavorful here, although some might find the portions surprisingly small. I had the lasagna. The thick slice had a red sauce which had a full flavor with a complex blend of spices and tasty cheese. The presentation was very nice. The wait staff were very nice and attentive.

Yelp
Like the SJ Enoteca location, the people are incredibly friendly and accommodating. I had booked outdoors but it ended up being a cold night (in May!) so they moved us indoors. Shout out to our server Taylor who was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the wine and food, and even engaged in friendly banter with me. The menu isn't fully restored quite yet but we were able to enjoy some of our favorites: DiStefano Burrata with added tomatoes: This burrata is significantly better than the classic one. This time, the dish came with a traditional beefsteak tomato rather than heirloom. Solid but not spectacular. Gorgonzola salad with added salmon: This is often my go-to lunch. The dinner portion seemed larger than I'm used to -- a VERY generous portion of salmon. The house-made Gorgonzola dressing is always top notch and the roasted pistachios make the dish. Ravioli with mushrooms: The ricotta & mascarpone cheese is flavorful and the truffle oil doesn't overwhelm the dish. Another one of my favorites. It's a smaller portion if you're a big eater. Spaghetti with garlic olive oil: A traditional Italian dish and both locations do this very well. There's a little kick from the chili flakes. Roasted Salmon with veggies: This dish seems to vary every time we order it but it's always excellent. The salmon is never overdone and the veggies are whatever is in season. Tiramisu: One of the better ones I've had since this is isn't overly sweet. Sfogliatelle: This is the must-get dessert. Delicate pastry filled with ricotta & lemon zest. It's served warm. Warning: It takes 20-30 mins to make. Some in our group wished Enoteca would add a gelato dessert option. It looks like they are removing most of their wine storage which might be happening in the SJ location as well. That's too bad -- the wine bottles add to the ambience and have been useful for last-minute gifts. I really enjoy dining at both Enotecas and supporting a local business.

Yelp
Tucked away in an obscure Los Gatos shopping center is Enoteca La Storia. I walked in around 2:30 pm on a quiet Monday. It was relatively empty with not more than 6 people who had already been served and were sitting at the bar. I was seated at a table where I waited over 8 minutes to be acknowledged by anyone. Finally, a server spotted me. Since this is a wine bar, I wanted to order a glass of Chardonnay wine but it took the server awhile to find out what was available so, I decided to pass on any wine at all. The Arthur Avenue, an Italian deli sandwich, was served on crunchy French bread. Small but delicious with salami, prosciutto and cheese. I'm being generous with a four star rating and that is only because the sandwich was so tasty but the service was a big disappointment and I doubt I'll return.

Yelp
Amazing food! Amazing wines by the glass or bottle. Impeccable service. Gluten free bread is an added bonus!

Yelp
10/2/2020 My friend needed a whine & wine GNO so we were debating on going to Santana Row's Vintage but it was closed due to the BLM protest going on so we made a detour and came here. We tried to make reservations but they didn't have any showing avail. We tried calling and no one answered so decided to try a walk in. We arrived just before 7 and there were empty tables (plural) - we were told they'll work on a table set up and get back to us. We stood and waited, was then asked 10 mins in if we wanted a bar like table on stools as there were a couple of people almost done. We passed on it as we planned to grab dinner and the rectangular table set up wouldn't have been ideal. It was 15 almost 20 minutes before a hostess came back over and said there were a couple 7:30 reservations and they'll hold the table for 10 mins or so if they no show, we'll get seated. She came back at 7:30 and said that the table she expected to get up was stalling on their departure. We sat at 7:40ish so that was hours in wait time when you're hungry! We ordered an array of stuff to try. I recall liking the crostini sampler. The burrata was too watery for my liking although the heirloom tomatoes were pretty tasty. The mushroom raviolis were ok and the charcuterie 3 meats and 3 cheeses was standard - one option was bleu which I don't care for at all :(. The dessert was not great. Tiramisu didn't taste like tiramisu - missing the espresso or coffee scent and taste. We each took one bite and left it. The mousse was a bit better but nothing to rave over. The wine was pretty good and priced pretty descent. We grabbed a bottle of red & white. The service started off already off with the wait time then the shortness in asking us to move from waiting in one location to another. Once we sat to dine, my friend had ordered a bunch of dishes. My semi drunk friend was over ordering and the waitress dished everything out as it was ready. After receiving our appetizers, I had asked the waitress to hold off on serving the courses as we barely got our starters...but my request was ignored :( The entree came out anyways so I had appetizers normally served cold and now can't enjoy them otherwise the hot entrees will get cold. My friend then asked for desserts and again I reminded the waitress To give us a moment to finish our filled table and again she brought desserts out. I get it, there is two of us with two different opinions no fault to you at all but you can tell one is sober and the other is tipsy. Our cold desserts came out when we didn't get to finish our apps or entree. I get it you want to make as much money as you can when someone is ordering like a mad woman. For a wine bar, you assume people want to relax and mingle and enjoy company with food and socially eat. I felt extremely rushed by the establishment and was unable to time myself to enjoy anything while chatting with my friend. Our bill came out right after with a good portion of courses left on the table. Very disappointed dining experience.

Yelp
So good! I went here last night on a date and the food and service was great. We sat outside and the patio area is really cute. We had the prosciutto bruschetta as an appetizer and split the ciao Pepe (I think it was called that) and mushroom ravioli pastas. It was all delicious. Smallish portions, but it was super rich. I would definitely recommend.

Yelp
I am not paying g for your employees cost of living charge ! Pay your employees as that is part of doing g business! Stop passing this crap on to us. So tired of this crap...sneaky way to not pay your employees and make us pay. You hurt them in the long run, not us...I wo t pay it ! Honestly, what is wrong with you. Stop Stop and stop. People have tipping fatigue as it is but we understand that is part of the culture but this is just plain bs. I won't return until you get.rid.of this and as a rule I drop some serious dollar.on food. Hope you are happy you lost a customer over this selfish act ! I'm so angry about this. When I worked in the industry we barely got tips and now you want us to pay for your employees. Learn how to run a.business or get out ! Seriously, i.am taking a hard stand on this crap so.listen up. We are tied of it. Raise.your prices if you need to but don't slip junk fees on our.bill ! AND no soap in the bathroom which leads me to believe staff not properly washing their hands. Unacceptable

Yelp
We finally went back to have an afternoon snack with wines. We were duly impressed at how they had recovered so much of the quality I remember. First, we chose two wines an both were well above the average even for what would be standard high quality in most restaurants. I have always thought Enoteca had the best tastes in wines offerring good pours and well above quality selections. Both wines were really nicely balanced and both pours were $16. That is not an unusual price today but they were unusually good wines for any restaurant. We only had a crostini sampler and carbonara pasta as well were having an afternoon quick lunch. But the quality was excellent....taste and preparation.... service was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to taking some out of town clients soon.

Yelp
Los Gatos has lots of restaurants and Enoteca is one of my favorites. The service is top-notch and the food is always very flavorful. I especially enjoy eating at Enoteca during tomato season, when they serve ones grown in the owner's garden. The location is convenient and parking is plentiful. I have also belonged to their wine club for a few years which has exposed me to lots delicious, local and international varieties.

Yelp
Make sure that if you order here order a minimum of 20 minutes early. I order s sfogliatelle and it was very tasty and flakey. But the price was a little much for the size. I had the same size at La Biscotteria for $3. So paying $10.92 here and $3 at other places is a lil steep.

Yelp
Enoteca's virtual wine classes got us through COVID. Ryan, Joe, Mike and the Enoteca team are funny, down to earth and know their wines. From small vintages from Italy to things more local, they always point me in the right direction. And you can trust them if you are looking for a value, or a big splashy night in. A nice selection of wines you might be looking for, and even better to find something you aren't familiar with and give it a try. I haven't eaten at the Los Gatos location but I did in San Jose before it closed and the food was solid too.

Yelp
Great ambiance, we only had appetizers here, but they were good! A little pricey in my opinion.

Yelp
Super average and overpriced Italian restaurant close to downtown LG. It's in a random shopping center next to a Coldwell Banker and you can't see the sign because it is overcrowded with random Holiday decor (looks like an antique sale). It has an outdoor patio and that is how we ended up here for a group lunch. The service was great for large groups and there was enough shade. We first ordered several appetizers for the group. I wasn't able to taste most of them because I can't have dairy. The bread tasted a bit old and the meats from the board were average. Obviously I am limited to what I can order at an Italian restaurant so the server recommended their Tonnoto sandwich. It was a $15 small sandwich with a regular ol' tuna salad inside. The plate had some greens thrown in there without a vinaigrette or dressing. My husband ordered the Arthur St sandwich and he said the LG Meats sandwich is WAY better than this. Overall, not impressed with the food.

Yelp
My wife and I had lunch and ordered a charcuterie board with fig spread as well as the Burrata and they were all great. The owner and our server were both very personable and we really enjoyed the meal.

Yelp
Such a good spot for pasta in LG! The cacio e pepe was divine and I scarfed it down so fast! I didn't drink any wines here since I was driving, but they have a large selection. The restaurant is more casual and they have lots of seating
