What a beautiful setting & equally beautiful food & service! We did the tasting menu & truly enjoyed it all.

The meal was just aweful. We ordered the duck breast and red snapper. The duck skin was not rendered properly and the fish was not fresh and the skin was soggy. When we told the server we were unhappy with the food she continually asked if we wanted to talk to the chef. Why would we want to do that when this chef was supposedly nominated for a Michelin star. He should no better how to cook duck breast and a fish with skin on 🙄please don’t bother, there are very skilled chefs at other restaurants that actually know how to cook!chef!

Lovely find (via Michelin guide)!! The place was charming, friendly staff (and chef) and our meal was delicious. Shared the cortonese style gnocchi and tagliatelle bolgonese to start, both fantastic. I doubled up on carbs and had the pici w/pumpkin, guanciale and crispy kale. Soooo good! Husband had the cingale, but 1st time as a steak! (only stew or ragu previously). Chef brought out a taste of his panettone with syrah and dark chocolate and his dark chocolate truffle with syrah cream filling. Amazing but we were stuffed. Highly recommend for a charming meal

First 5🌟 does not do this restaurant justice 💫 thank you for such a wonderful evening of pure pleasure in every bite of food 💛 the Chef should come out after each service and take a well eared Bow 🙇‍♀️ I honestly will remember this restaurant up there with of the ten best I have enjoyed. The team working the floor Brava 💫🌟🌟two Girls were so good and kind and Italian harder to find these days. The fit out , the interiors are lovely 🥰 I would say in the summer months outside must look magic and very romantic 💘 everyone will have the same experience as us for so sure 👍

We had a great three hour lunch in the garden! Excellent, exciting food and fabulous wine! Nice staff and the chef came to say hi. Treated the kids well too, and could fix special meal for them. Well worth a visit!

Update: We went back for dinner and had an incredible, incredible meal. We opted for the chef's tasting menu and each course was crafted and presented perfectly. Wine pairings were expert and delicious. This was one of our favorite meals in Italy and the experience was ten times better than EVERY restaurant we tried in Cortona. (And here you won't be crammed into a tiny space with only tourists.) Drive down the hill and eat here - it is an exceptional, local experience. Original: Review is for the wine shop. Wow, what a fantastic find in the Cortona/Camucia area. Extensive selection of wines from Italy and beyond, including a large selection of sparkling wines including champagne. They also have one of the better selections of liquor that we have found in the area. Shop steward Mauro and chef Massimo were helpful in helping us find wines to match our requests and preferences. The shop also coordinates private wine tastings as well as excursions to area wineries. Highly recommend this wine shop in the Cortona area.

Excellent food, the sea bass is one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The service by Elisa and Nadia was very friendly and efficient. The terrace is beautiful and so is the interior of the restaurant
