Unfortunately, my experience was quite poor. The chicken was shredded and had an unappetizing smell, which was a stark contrast to the grilled chicken I was told I'd receive. Considering the cost, the overall food quality was unacceptable. I won't be a returning customer.

The food is mediocre, no flavor just boil seafood.. shrimp was flavorless, and the fish tacos overcooked/burned .. The front cashier was not friendly and the cocktail was flavorless.. I understand “LOOKS” good but is not

I've been going to the original location in Lawndale for years, and parking was always an issue. I was glad to hear they opened a location in my town of Gardena. Their fish tacos are excellent, and the Wednesday fish tacos special is a must. If you like fish tacos, you will not be disappointed.

Good fish taco. Tried the salmon taco and not recommended. Enjoy the sunset while eating tacos. Female cashier wasn't friendly at all.

There are hefty portions of shrimp in the Caldo. I've had their vehicles and they're also nicely portioned. There's a lot of seafood with each order. Use their salsas instead of the hot sauces .

Had the breaded fish tacos. Very healthy sized piece of fish in each. Great taste anmt a good price point. Take it or leave it on beans & rice. Nothing special. Will return but probably just get tacos and skip meal combo. Nice patio seating.

Got takeout and ate there. I have never had this great of fish tacos ever. They were so perfectly soft, well seasoned, and the cabbage and tomatoes paired so well with the taco. Another thing I loved was the double corn tortillas which were soft but the food never once broke through them. The grilled and fried fish taco I would say were pretty equal in taste so if you want the healthier route get grilled.

Was in the area and Ensenada's sounded really good so we gave it a try and I'm very glad we did! Very delicious and authentic. The staff were kind and the food came out hot, fresh, and fast. I got the 2 fish taco plate and a shrimp taco. All were incredibly delicious and I wanted to get more if I wasn't so filled up. They also had some of the best horchata I've ever had. We ate our food out on the deck where we could feel the cool breeze coming up from the ocean. It was a great experience and I recommend anyone in the area to stop by.

First time to this location but I've been to the one on Artesia and Inglewood. This location is on the corner of a heavy intersection. You have to get to it from the Northbound side of PCH, not South. If you're goin South on Aviation, then you might need to turn on block before PCH and go around. I ordered the burrito de prescado. She entered taco de prescado. When I corrected her that I wanted a burrito, she put in the grill fish burrito. That lost them a star. The cashier lady was not paying attention to me. She was easily distracted by something else in the restaurant that someone else could take care of. Nevertheless, the burrito was huge. It was $16. You can get the same burrito at those street corner pop-up Mexican food street vendors but for a lot less. The burrito was still delicious. It lasted two meals so I guess $8 per meal isn't all that expensive.

On this rainy day, I wanted Ensenada's Surf n Turf Grill tacos. Unfortunately, so did a lot of people. The parking lot has very tight spaces. New menu boards and prices have increased. I ordered the fish tacos and a potato taco. All were delicious but the potato taco was an appetizer size. Best time to come here is when it first opens. Ok, bye.

Want a casual and delicious dining experience? Head to Ensanadas. The grilled fish and grilled shrimp tacos are delicious. Corn tortillas STUFFED with protein, slaw and salsa, then topped with a little cream...yum! Grab some peppers, lemons, and onions from the garnish bar and dress your taco with a variety of hot sauces. I had the #3 which had two tacos, frijoles, and arroz. It included a soda for $12.95. A good price for good food!

Yes this unassuming taco and burrito Joint is a true dichotomy. So it doesn't lool like the food would be good here, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover! The fact is, on walking in and seeing a crowd of happy Hispanics enjoying their meals told me this would be the right place to have lunch with my son. We both ordered tacos - those fish tacos and Baja tacos, fried. Absolutely delicious! Fish was right and crispy, and quite flavorable, and the fishing trip together were absolutely the best! It is the shrimp and fish tacos, the Baja Taco, that I would recommend Kylie even though the fish tacos alone were absolutely delicious! Inexpensive and delicious, how can you go wrong?

I visited for the first time the other day. I got a breaded fish taco and fish ceviche. They both were decent, but didn't knock my socks off. The grilled peppers at the self-serve area were really good. It may be worth another visit just for them.

I usually go to the Ensenada's on Inglewood and artesia. It's always busy there, but with reason. The food here is good. Portions for the cecviche seem about the same. The service however is bland. I'd agree with the reviews here. I walked up to the counter & wasn't greeted. The staff was having a conversation with each other and we had to wait until they were done. Food came out quick. The restaurant is clean and spacious.

Always have a great experience at this restaurant. They have great service and the place is clean. Good seating. The food is fantastic. The best fish/shrimp tacos. I've tried all their locations and all are consistent. I will be coming back for more. Please open one in the LA area!

Ceviche was very good! The Ensenada burrito is HUGE: but it wasn't my favorite. Too much going on inside a burrito. Large portions here. The ambiance is nice outside. Service ok. 10/10 recommend the ceviche

Ordering by telephone always works out best for me when picking up a fish burrito and other items. I do prefer the Hermosa Beach location as it is less crowded than the location on Artesia Blvd. I have never had any issues with placing my order and the interior is very clean and well lit with sunlight across PCH. Very nice portions and fresh flavors are always a big bonus for me, and they deserve the review I am giving them.

I absolutely love Ensenada's Surf N Turf Grill! The food here is a perfect 10 out of 10. I usually go for the fish tacos and shrimp ceviche, both of which are amazing and really capture the authentic Baja style. The only downside is that service can be a bit slow at times, so I recommend calling ahead to place your order. This small inconvenience is easily outweighed by the quality of the food and the overall experience. If you're craving delicious Baja style cuisine, this is the place to go. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy fantastic seafood in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Enjoyed the fish burrito and the seafood cocktail. I would come back to try other menu items but the fried fish burrito was really solid. The cocktail had some sea critters that I've never had, like the "seashells" but I liked them! Well cooked (read: not chewy).

The ambiance is very chill vibes. Clean and on theme. I got a fried shrimp taco and fried fish taco and fries. fried shrimp taco 9/10: they had a really good crunch and the taste of them was solid, but they weren't a 10. fried fish taco 8.5/10: they had a really good crunch at the ends and it was flaky inside but idk flavor wise something was missing a bit fries 9/10: they had a nice crisp and were almost the perfect level of salted The lady who took our order was a star because ordering tacos for a group of 10 is never fun so kudos to her.

Surf and turf burrito is delicious. Parking is very limited and prices are a bit high but all of the food I've had in 3 trips has been good. Favorite is definitely the surf and turf burrito, though. I'll go back

Came on Wednesday for their discounted fish taco specials and it didn't disappoint. Any other day and I would have ordered the surf and turf burrito and ceviche, but today I saved my stomach space for their crunchy fish tacos. Parking is easier at this location and their outdoor seating offers more protection from the wind than their Lawndale location (The Lawndale location has a fantastic and personable team).

Whether you are in the mood for surf or turf, Ensenada Surf n' Turf has it all. Some of our favorites are the fried fish tacos, grilled shrimp tacos, chicken tacos, grilled Mahi tacos, asada tacos and the stingray tacos. They also offer other meat choices, including barbacoa, carnitas and Al Pastor. In addition to their tacos, they also offer burritos, ceviche, scallops, rice and beans. The quality of their meats and seafood is exceptional. Their sauces and dressings that are drizzled over their tacos will make your taste buds tingle with joy!! They have several locations, including Hermosa Beach and Lawndale. Tuesday's you'll find "Taco Tuesday" specials and on Wednesdays, their fried fish tacos are on special!! This is a must try as they offer some of the best tacos in the South Bay.

I'm a huge fan of a fish burrito with the authentic fillings and sides to go with and Ensenada's was the perfect joint. I got the Baja style fish and the inside was loaded with lettuce, sauce, rice and pico. I loved the flavor of the burrito and the salsas that came with. They had a table with roasted chilis with the best seasonings and pickled onions. They go perfect with the food. I called in my order and while it wasn't ready by the time I got there it didn't take too long. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant and want to try more items. Would highly recommend for an authentic Baja fish burrito!!

Got to go with these guys for the gargantuan seafood burritos. As big as they are, they were tasty too. I had the grilled Baja burrito and it is a meal in itself. My favorites were the grilled items but some folks might like the fried items too.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! They have porcelain plates, that if you don't put away yourself, they will follow you outside and tell you to do it in front of everyone as if you're supposed to know that you're supposed to put them away yourself. When I told her I'm sorry I didn't know, she made no adjustments in her rude approach. So I stated scolding her right back, I start arguing with her that she to apologize for that and she calls out her fellow dummy manager who just tells me he'll talk to her. Karma is a ...you'll get what's coming to you guys for turning friends into foes.

Been here before but only have had shrimp tacos and ceviche. And both of those items are great. Today I decided to order Ensenada Burrito, the burrito is huge. I ate half and took the other half home. The burrito is very delicious and filling.

Love getting their fried fish tacos and they shrimp burrito! This place is always busy so it's great to call your order in and pick it up! My favorite are their seasoned peppers so make sure you grab some!

It is time to take a stand on this BS! HERE IS AN IDEA: If you own a restaurant and you... DON'T HAVE - Host/Hostess - Wait Staff - Bar Staff - Bus Boys - Table Menus ... but you... DO HAVE - Plastic Utensils - Paper Plates & Cups - Self-Serve Everything (drinks, napkins, utensils, condiments, bussing your own table, fetching your food, etc.) ... pay your employees and don't shame your customers into doing it. Be a man.

I had lunch here on my way out of town. The fish tacos are alright, nothing worth writing home about. A little too heavy on the batter and too light on the sauce for my taste . They were alright but I've had better . The combo came with rice and beans. Some of the rice was undercooked . Not sure I'd come here again, at least not for the fried tacos. The shrimp ceviche and cocktail looked good.

The Al pastor and carne asada tacos were meh BUT THE BATTERED FISH TACOS OH MYYYY THEY WERE DELICIOUS!! Also very fairly priced. I would drive back just for the fish tacos they were insane. Service was quick and not much ambiance but the fish tacos were so worth it.

11/10 recommend! Food was exceptional! Service was so friendly and helpful! Quality and freshness of the seafood was perfection! Everything is in exclamation point bcuz it was thoroughly perfect. We ordered fish taco, fish and chips, shrimp taco, potato tacos, stingray taco, yup! Stingray! Pretty good for not having stingray before. Also ordered the shrimp soup; very tasty, and like the thicker broth. Satisfyingly delicious! Not sure if they accept credit cards but today they posted signs that it was cash only. There's an ATM across the street at the Mobil station. Come prepared if you're hungry cuz those street lights take awhile. They have their own private parking lot but it's a small lot. Otherwise, there's street parking. Enjoy!

The Baja fish taco consist of a large piece of battered, deep fried (or grilled without batter) fish that is served with a cabbage slaw in a corn tortilla and topped with crema. You then have the option to add pickled onions, peppers and a squeeze of lemon to your tacos. It is delicious, filling and craveable, especially on Fish Taco Wednesdays when it's only $2.99/each. If you're really hungry, the Baja's Burrito (fried or grilled fish and shrimp) is huge and delectable. The parking lot is small and it is located on a busy corner but it's worth it.

An old favorite becomes a new favorite again. Love these places (there are three in the South Bay). I was going to the one on Artesia and Inglewood years ago for the delicious fish tacos and fresh shrimp cocktails. But it started to get so popular and crowded, and the parking lot access left much to be desired. So I sadly stopped going entirely (I tried a few times, but gave up because of the parking difficulties). That is until a new one opened in Hermosa on PCH. The parking lot access is still unfriendly (you can only approach from the south), but the store is more modern and comfortable than the original--there's even an outdoor covered patio with a beach breeze! Can't say enough about the yummy tacos and the prices--just outstanding. No alcohol, but they have an array of ceviche and several daily specials, so you don't have to break the bank.

5 stars...Easily. This place has amazing food and they have French fries that rival McDonald's fries but way healthier. It doesn't even take a while to get your food. 5 minutes on average. This is kind of a fast food restaurant though and it's the best.

This place is special. I genuinely love all the food here. My daughter and I go every Friday. I'm so thankful this place is in our neighborhood. Highly recommended.

Pretty good tacos. Lots if fish/shrimp in them. Really filling. Fresh taste. Not over priced. Nice staff, fast service and good food prep. Clean store, nice outside seating. Good menu with lots to choose from. No beer or alcohol. Drink options limited. Back coke etc. Ill back for sure.

Like the fish tacos and love the Vici the next and sometimes I get fried fish, which is a lot but good rice and beans covers the whole plate. I haven't tried the soups. The picture looks good. I'm gonna try one of these days. Thanks for asking.

I love Ensenadas! The Hermosa Beach location is hands down the nicest, cleanest and most consistent. My go to is the Ceviche de Pescado which is a fish ceviche-- super tangy and delicious! And you can never go wrong with the fish or shrimp tacos either with a cold horchata, which is super good (has a unique hint of vanilla in there..mmm!) I've been to both the El Segundo and Lawndale locations and it's been a hit or miss with terrible parking and inconsistent service and food. The staff at Hermosa Beach are on top of it, there is usually parking and I mean, this is the best place to get your ceviche fix on a hot summer day. If you haven't tried Ensenadas and you love sea food, this place is a MUST!

The food is always a 10/10. The service, not friendly, not mean no smiles no frowns hahah .. always CLEAN ambiance, fresh ingredients out & smells good.

Fresh, flavorful ceviche served fast by friendly people in a clean place? Yup! This place came highly recommended by a local and it did not disappoint!

I love this spot and have been going since there was only the original near the Galleria. Thankfully, two more have opened in the South Bay, including this one in Hermosa. Of the three locations, this is the most modern and has the best seating. Food is always made to order and fresh and they have various specials throughout the week. The one ding is the new credit card fee... I don't always carry cash and this is annoying as a customer. When I'm craving that fresh baja seafood tacos, this is the spot I'll head to.

During an LAX layover I stopped in this little shop to try them out & support small business. I placed an order & asked for a cup of water. Once my order was received I proceeded to go to the beverage machine & get water with ice. At that point an older lady started yelling something to me in Spanish from behind the counter. Basically what she was attempting to express was that the water cup that I had been given was too big. She took the cup, poured out the water & ice, threw it in the garbage in front of me, & provided me with a smaller clear plastic cup. As a pilot with the airlines I travel all over & can tell you that this lady's actions were unique. They were not routed in any type of logic that I can tell & she seemed to be pretty upset over something that was not my fault. It is for that reason that I will not return there & am leaving this poor review.

Both food and service are great and this place consistently delivers the good! If you like solid seafood south of the border style, Ensenadas is a must try!

I was not expecting that. Walked in, first thing I see is an insane menu. I didn't even know where to start at first. So the fish tacos are excellent (I liked the fried version, but grilled was also delicious). Great flavor, and their salsa bar is amazing. Just go, this review is your sign.

I LOVE Ensenada's fish tacos! They are definitely the best in town! It is just a few blocks away from the beach, so definitely worth getting it for your day at the beach. I am always on a hunt for good tacos no matter where I go. Before Covid, I was fortunate to fly away to Maui for a mini vacation, and tried Maui's "best" fish tacos... and I gotta say, that fish taco got NOTHING on Ensenada's fish tacos. The ingredient: The battered fish strip was golden brown and tasted fresh! I loved every bite of that fish taco. All the veggies and sauces were also amazing. I loved their house tartar sauce and a mild version of hot sauce. However, the fish taco tastes good even if you don't add sauce on it. The package/presentation: We got our food to go since its still Covid time and not feeling so reassuring about opening my mouth in public. Every taco was wrapped by its own paper, so the tortilla would not stick to another taco in a nicely compacted to go container. All the additional veggies came in its own zip bloc bag which I really liked how clean everything looked, and the veggies were tasty as well. Customer Service: People at the restaurant were nice. Greeted us when we came in and asked if we had any questions. BUT, the phone was ringing the whole time I was in the store waiting for my food (about 10 minutes). The restaurant has a banner that offers phone orders. So I actually called before I drove here but the call was sent straight to voicemail and the vm was full. So when I heard the phone ringing off the hook in the restaurant, I was a bit annoyed at the fact they didn't pick up their calls when they advertise such service. So, I guess if you don't mind walking in to order, then its worth the time to wait in line for some yummy tacos in the South Bay.

While my friends and I was looking for a new taco place to try we found this place. It is one of the best fried fish tacos I have ever had. Their tortillas are SO good! My favorite thing to order is their fried fish taco. Their taco is just perfect it's super crispy. I came back here the next day to get more tacos because they were that good! They have a few other locations in California. This place is located on pacific coast highway and they have plenty of parking spots available. The al pastor and potato taco was alright but I would order their fried fish taco over the other tacos. Their burritos are also amazing! I really like their shrimp burrito. The shrimp burrito came with a lot of shrimp pieces, beans, tomato, onions, and rice. Overall I highly recommend this place its one of my favorite taco places to go to in south bay.

Came here 06/28/2021 June 8 2021. Cheap, fresh, amazingly well-seasoned Mexican food. FOOD: Ensenada's Surf N Turf Grill is a chain restaurant that specializes in fish and shrimp tacos, ceviche, and salsa. All of the tacos are absolutely loaded with large pieces of fried fish, cabbage, creme fraiche, and tomatoes. A single taco would honestly be enough for a super quick lunch. All the ceviches are served with MASSIVE portion sizes and come with two hard tostadas. They are super zesty, limey, and salty. SERVICE: Can't speak for the entire chain since I only went to this one location, but the man who was serving us is so nice and kind. It was my first time here so he walked me through the entire menu of tacos, burritos, and ceviches. He gave me his personal recommendations and was super patient. He even offered me samples of each ceviche for free, and he basically gave me an entire serving lol. OTHER NOTES: Getting into the parking lot here is a *****. If you miss the turn off PCH, you need to go up the hill on 10th street and make a u-turn back down. You need to have your eyes peeled not to miss this place. RECOMMENDED FOOD: Fish tacos Shrimp ceviche Fish ceviche I got the spicy shrimp ceviche and it was pretty good but extremely zesty, like my lips were burning after 10 bites. I'd say just get the normal.

Tried this place for the first time based off the Yelp reviews and did not disappoint whatsoever. The ceviche was fresh and tangy and their fried fish was amazing. Would definitely come back if in the area again

Quite possibly the worst experience yet. Ordered in house for take out. Picked our order up and left. Found out at home it was incomplete, called for a refund waited for 10 minutes while they continued to service others, could hear the discussions with the phone on the counter, pretty sure it was deliberate. In the end no remedy need to go back and talk to Juan for a refund. Great example of entitled service....won't be eating at Ensenadas again....

Parking is a bit tricky! But worth it! Best Fish Tacos! Good size portions, tasty food and great customer service. Support this small business you won't regret it!

After reading reviews and hearing rave reviews from hubby, I knew I had to order fish tacos. I got a combo plate of 1 fish Taco, 1 shrimp Taco, beans, rice, soda for 10.99, very reasonable. I ate all minus 1 Taco, which I had for lunch the next day. This authentic Mexican food reminds me of eating at the local places in Rosarito, Mexico, years ago. There are daily specials. The menu is large. Dine in or get it to go and eat at the beach. I wish we had an Ensenada's in NorCal.
