"Anyone standing in front of this rather unassuming building in the Wöhrd neighbourhood would not necessarily expect to find such a tastefully elegant restaurant inside. This is Fabian Denninger's domain. Following stints at various establishments including Edsbacka krog in Sollentuna near Stockholm, Burg Wernberg and the Waldhotel Sonnora in Wittlich, he first headed the kitchen at Koch und Kellner in Nuremberg, before becoming the chef-patron of Entenstuben in June 2014. He prepares dishes based on classical foundations with a modern twist and plenty of contrasts. This is achieved beautifully, for example, in the lukewarm lobster, to which papaya and chard add a delicately fruity and acidic note. The beautifully presented set menu also comes in a vegetarian version. Tip: The quiet verdant terrace to the rear of the building is delightful." - Michelin Inspector

Located in the middle of nowhere like a residential area in Nuremberg, but the restaurant is well worth the one Michelin star. We were seated at a shared table and met with wonderful people whom we enjoyed the meal with and had interesting conversations. The servers tried their best to explain the menu and dishes to us in English. Good service and great food!

We found Entenstuben from Michelin Guide. We had a special guest in town and our visit was just great. All the courses were very delicious and well explained. Of one the course was served by the Chef. Our visit was a great experience, thank you🌸

We visited the Entenstuben through the "my first star" experience, which - let me lead with the bottom line - offers quite terrific value for money. The dishes were delicious and well balanced, with interesting flavor and texture combinations. I found the wine pairing to not be as strong, but considering it was included in an overall very fair price this is not a point of complaint for me (had I paid full price for menu and pairing, this might be different). The non-alcoholic pairing consisted of self-made juices, kombucha, etc., which I find considerably more inspired than using non-alcoholic wines, and thus, applaud. Service was attentive and very friendly, adding positivity to the atmosphere. Would probably visit again as I thought it was a solid experience overall (and especially with the "my first star" option), though I found the menu not quite as complex or inventive as some of the other options around.

Simply delicious. We had the „my first star menu“ and it was very very good. Although we were the only guests the reservation for our desired day was not a problem and we had a beautiful night out.
