Absolutely top tier French cuisine. The escargot were fantastic and so flavorful. The interior is wonderfully designed and has a great ambiance. The service is fantastic and everyone is very friendly and helpful. The perfect spot for a date night, it is dimly lit and very intimate. Incredible experience.

Excellent spot for French food in Old Town Pasadena. Came with some coworkers for a work social event and we were able to split some appetizers and desserts. We enjoyed the escargot and tarte tatin a lot!

This was my second visit to Entre Nous French Bistro, and it absolutely confirmed what I felt the first time—this place is a hidden gem. We came yesterday to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and everything about the evening was simply perfect. We were a party of five and shared a variety of dishes that showcased the kitchen’s finesse and authenticity. We started with the Daily Pick Oysters, which were impeccably fresh and beautifully presented. The Tartare de Saumon was bright and delicate, and the Escargots de Bourgogne were everything you’d hope for—garlicky, buttery, and so satisfying. The Homemade Duck Pâté was another standout—rich, rustic, and perfectly paired with fresh baguette slices. For entrées, we had the Filet Mignon, Rack of Lamb, Magret de Canard, French Fries, and the Salmon special of the day. Every single dish was a hit. The meats were expertly cooked to temperature, the sauces were layered and flavorful, and the sides were just as impressive. Even the fries deserve a shoutout—crispy, golden, and addictive. The service was warm, professional, and incredibly thoughtful. They made sure my sister felt celebrated, and we never once felt rushed. The ambiance is cozy and intimate, with just the right touch of French charm. Entre Nous continues to impress, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants in town. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a night out, this bistro delivers every time. Already looking forward to visit number three!

Google
Located in a charming part of town, Entre Nous has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. We started with the French onion soup and escargot—both were flavorful and well-prepared. However, the experience went downhill from there. Their Pilsner on draft is $12 and served in what looks like a half-pint glass. For that price, you’d expect a proper pint pour, at the very least. The biggest disappointment was the duck à l’orange. Recommended by our server and priced at $51, it was shockingly bland. The sauce was watery and flavorless, the steamed vegetables were uninspired, and the portion size was underwhelming. To top it off, a bottle of still Evian water is $11—which feels excessive, even for a fine dining establishment. Overall, the meal felt overpriced and underwhelming. Aside from the starters, nothing really justified the cost.

Google
Nice little restaurant. French onion soup was excellent, think it had some wine in it, very tasty. The crudo was very light and really tasty with the orange. I had the halibut which was excellent and she had the lamb. The halibut had a great sauce. Only real complaint was the halibut and lamb got a little dry at the end, both could have used more sauce. For desert get the mousse, outstanding and plenty of it plus fresh cream..

•Entre Nous French Bistro •Entrée: Filet Mignon à la Bordelaise $52 •Customer Service: "Constant checking up, making sure that we're aware of everything about our dish. Beautiful service..." •Aesthetic "Date Night": The restaurant setting is perfect for a date night. The level of intimacy you'll experience with your date, dim lights, romantic soft music in the background—there's no reason you should have a bad experience here. The Filet Mignon a la Bordelaise (52$), Perfect portion size on the 6 oz filet mignon, red wine reduction, bleu d’auvergne, potato gratin, mushrooms and vegetables.

Google
This place is your absolute 5 stars experience in terms of food quality and presentation, service, ambiance, and décor. We ordered the fillet mignon, the halibut (which is one of their signature dishes that I highly recommend), the endive salad and finally the île flottante for dessert. The food is fabulous and you can easily tell that someone passionate about cooking made it! Everyone is friendly from owners to chef to servers. Give this restaurant a shot and I am sure you will come back to try the rest of the menu :)

Google
One of my go to restaurants in Pasadena, highly recommended! Excellent service with incredible favors! Outstanding french dishes like Escargo, Confit de Canard, and Carré d'Agneau à la Fleur de Lavande. This is the restaurants I take people to when they visit me.

Yelp
Food was simply amazing, well priced, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Great spot for a date night. Would definitely go back!

Yelp
Businesses that treat my kids well will always get my respect, praise, and advertisement. Entre Nous's staff made my daughter feel so special and fancy. They came by the table often to teach French to her, encourage her, and dote on her during our Mommy-daughter outing, and everyone (and every delicious thing she ate) kept her smiling and bursting with joy all night. For a mom, the mark of an excellent business is how well they treat kids. Entre Nous aced the test, and they're on the list of our go-to Mommy-daughter places forever!

Yelp
Good food with poor service. Came here on a Sat and place was surprisingly empty. The escargot and Brie en Croute were both excellent. For entree we had the seabass and halibut, both were good but unexceptional. Halibut is difficult fish to cook as it's a dense fleshed fish. Restaurants tend to over or undercook it. Kudos to this restaurant for baking it just right. Though the fish itself was bit odorous. Service on the other hand was a disappointment. Our waiter was more suited for diners than fine dining. Upon approach he didn't offer basic greeting or bother to introduce himself, the first thing out of his mouth was "you know what you want"? We had few questions about the wine and it was clear he knew nothing and just shrugged his shoulders. For the price point the service provided was unprofessional and lacking. On the other hand, the bus staff filled our water glasses promptly and the food came out in the right sequence so maybe that all we can expect these days. Based on previous reviews seems this establishment is embroiled in some legal dispute w the staff. I can only guess they lost most of their wait staff and likely hastily replaced them with untrained waiters.

Yelp
Absolutely love this spot. As soon as you walk in, you're warmly greeted by staff who seem genuinely happy that you're there. The interior has art all over the walls and is cozy. Didn't have a single bad thing. The steak tartare was *chef's kiss* and while I would have preferred toasted bread with it, the fries it came with were great. The French onion soup was amazing and we wished we ordered our own instead of sharing. Lamb was cooked perfectly medium rare and the side of mushrooms were great too. We had a concert to catch so we kept our selections minimal but I definitely want to come back to have a long, slow dinner and order half the menu. Perfect for date night without being too pretentious!

Yelp
Time and again a great place to have a wonderful dinner in a relaxed and cozy environment, with French style. The staff is always knowledgeable and attentive. The food super delicious, nicely presented, and even though not meant to be shared, they did not hesitate to bring extra plate to do so. PS: just maybe the poster with Depardieu maybe past its best time and would benefit from a replacement. PREVIOUS REVIEW In the space of the former Spanish tapas restaurant "Raciòn", a French cuisine - Entre Nous - conquered the space. Just entre nous, the space has not changed a whole lot, except that there is an Eiffel tower at the entrance and a few French posters on the walls. And nonetheless, the visit for dinner was absolutely worthwhile. The menu was retrievable via QR colde. Start with a simple but delicious Kir Royale, followed by a fresh green salad, a tasty onion soup and a salmon tartare. There were excellent choices for the main course. The Seabass, Duck Breast, and the Rack of Lamb, respectively, were all outstanding, on point, and perfect in texture. Yes, missing Racion, but Entre Nous is a qualified replacement.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Entre Nous for a while. Service was attentive, filet mignon was incredibly tender and delicious, portions were surprisingly generous. I wish the baguette would have been warm and the escargot tongs not SO tight and hard to maneuver. Ambiance is warm and inviting, though quite loud on a Friday night.

Yelp
May Wed 5:45pm I had passed by this restaurant many times and had been drawn to the cute outdoor decor. I remember not having had the best experience with French food so I was hesitant, yet I was extremely intrigued. Years after moving away from Pasadena I finally came back to Entre Nous. We had a reservation at 5:45pm but it took me nearly two hours to drive in from Torrance. Fortunately, maximum street parking in Pasadena was 2 hours and due to my tardiness, I was able to park until past 8pm, when parking became free. We had a bottle of Pinot Gris, which was nice. And the bread and butter- with some salt it was perfect. We also had the mushroom, which was perfect. I enjoyed the halibut filet and another enjoyed the filet mignon. The saffron rice wasn't what I was expecting. By the end of that the three of us were stuffed! The decor inside is moody and marvelous. I loved the large prints and the candles. Excellent service as well!

Yelp
Omg we had a delicious French dinner in Pasadena. Mattias the owner, who had a restaurant in Eagle Rock, opened his own restaurant Entre Nous. This place is beautiful, cozy, and great location. We dined here 2 weekends back to back and can't wait to go back. Excellent food, portions, price and amazing service. Great gem in the heart of old town Pasadena

Yelp
Entre Nous is seriously the cutest spot ever! French food that's to die for. It's right across from CorePower and the paint & wine studio in Pasadena, the perfect post-yoga treat. We walked in with no reservations and got seated right away--major win. The escargot? So light and flavorful! I tried the sea bass on lentils, and it was super filling. Oh and the burger with blue cheese was heavenly. This place is such a romantic vibe for a spontaneous date night. Plus, Gerardo was the absolute sweetest waiter and knew everything about the menu!

Yelp
First visit to celebrate my wife's birthday. Located in Old Town Pasadena, the tree-lined street and interior décor truly make you feel like you're in a small French bistro. Inside and patio dining available. On street metered parking, and their website says that there's a parking garage behind the restaurant off Delacey Avenue. SERVICE: I was a little disappointed with the service from our main waiter. Initially, we felt rushed when we first arrived, and then there wasn't much interaction once we placed our orders or throughout dinner. We ordered a bottle of wine, and other than the initial opening of the bottle and first pour, there was no follow up. The assistant waiter was a little more attentive and was at least personable. DRINKS: Wine, wine cocktails, and beer only. We started with a glass of Kir Royale ($18) and a bottle of 2021 Chateauneuf-du-Pape ($110, about 200% markup), which paired perfectly with our entrées. There were other wines that were far less expensive, but we splurged for this occasion. Should you choose to bring in your own bottle, the corkage fee is currently $30/bottle. FOOD: We started with two appetizers, a Duck Mousse ($25) that was on special, and Escargots de Bourgogne ($22). Both were served with toasted baguette, which was a little too toasted IMO. The mousse and escargots were excellent. For our entrées we tried the Poulet Rôti Bio au Thym ($35), a roasted organic half chicken, the Entrecôte au Poivre ($52), a 10 oz ribeye steak with French fries, and another special, the Rack of Lamb ($61) served with mashed potatoes and veggies. The chicken was excellent, the steak was good, and I thought that the lamb was nice, but my wife was not a fan. We also ordered the Profiteroles ($18) for dessert and were charged for that. I'm not complaining, just pointing out so there's no surprises to others...many places provide a birthday dessert gratis, Entre Nous did not. Overall, our experience was okay, but for the price and the service we had, I would choose other French restaurants over this one.

Linda A.

Yelp
This spot is suitable for a one-time date night, but not a place I'd return to or recommend for other occasions. The ambiance works for a romantic evening, but the service was slow, and the food didn't quite match the pricing. We were surprised to find they didn't even have paper napkins--staff had to bring paper towels from the bathroom. The oysters were decent, and the escargot was enjoyable, but overall, it wasn't memorable enough to justify another visit. Parking is very difficult.

Yelp
Great cozy restaurant. Small but quaint with a family feeling vibe. The menu features a nice variety of options. Good selection of wines also. While I don't eat French food very often this establishment was very good.

Yelp
Beautiful and cozy restaurant with a tasteful menu. Staff and owners were warm and welcoming. The filet was perfect and I had to get a side of lentils because that's my favorite food. The desserts were heavenly. An expensive meal, but worth it at least once.

Yelp
A beautiful cozy restaurant tucked in the heart of Pasadena. The food was delightful, with decadent French cuisine from escargot to duck and everything in between. The staff was friendly and attentive, with recommendations, accommodations (for our baby), and personalities that draw you in. The peppercorn rib eye was great, would return to try more of the menu

JJ N.

Yelp
We came here for a dinner on a weekday. Good service and good food! We had Escargots de Bourgogne for appetizer. As for entrees, we had Entrecôte Au Poivre (ribeye), Confit de Canard (duck confit w/ mushroom sauce), Loup de Mer et Lentilles (Mediterranean sea bass, braised Du Puy lentils, balsamic sauce, red onion, herbs), and Scallop Risotto. All the dishes were delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and delicious! Duck confit was flavorful and tender, ribeye was juicy and tender. Scallops were cooked perfectly, so was sea bass. Portion was quite generous compared to other French restaurants, we shared all the dishes. We sure will come back again.

Yelp
One of the best of the best French Bistro's ever. Never been to France but I did have a bd who studied French culinary and was a chef long time ago and this place reminded me so much of him. The service here is top notch, sweet and kind servers. I love the owners! They are the sweetest of the sweets! They care for all their customers! My mom and I was fortunate to be invited here last year by the owners bc they are my swim clients and I taught their daughter to swim and the ambience is very welcoming and delightful. Definitely will recommend this delicious place highly!

Yelp
This place is great for date nights, big groups, and family gatherings. It's a nice and cozy spot. The food was delicious and flavorful; our favorites were the duck mousse and the scallop risotto. The staff was friendly, attentive, and answered all our questions. They have a small outdoor seating area, which I would choose next time as the indoor space got a bit too loud, making it difficult to hear each other. I will definitely come back and try other dishes if I am in the area.

Yelp
Cozy, romantic restaurant perfect for an intimate dinner. We reserved for a weeknight dinner and surprised with the limited diners present. We ordered family style: oysters, endive salad, mussels, and an assortment of desserts. For a group of 3, we were left stuffed and happy. Service was excellent: friendly and readily available when we required their service. Highly recommend especially for date night.
google avatar

Lonnie M.

Yelp
Service was outstanding. Kind staff, attentive servers. Loved the decor and classic French movie posters. Food was just ok. Sea bass overcooked and lentils needed more sauce, kinda dry. Had to send filet back, ordered med, came well done. Small size filet, smallest I've seen at that price. Refire was great, juicy steak, great sauce, but veggies and mushrooms prior were great, new veg/rooms were flavorless. We appreciate the better steak, but gotta make sure everything else is amazing too. May want to slice baguette thinner, slices very big and clunky. A little hard too. Also, nice when servers fill up wine glass throughout service, we bought a bottle and filled up ourselves, just a nice touch. Appreciated great service.
google avatar

Yelp
Good service and nice ambience. Food was all in order and tasted excellent. The only thing I have an issue with is their tipping system. They say they are a non tip place but a fee is added to the bill for? They need to be more transparent.

Yelp
When I was younger, Cafe Beaujolais was a go to French cuisine spot that was just in my neighborhood. It was such a fun surprise to find out that the founders of Entre Nous were previously there as well. Although not connected to the former, the food is equally and if not more delicious! We got there around 5:30 and the ambiance was romantic and very chic, not loud. We decided on three appetizers and a main dish to share between two people. All were an absolute hit! We left so satisfied. What we ate: - Escargot - delicious, not too oily, phenomenal to pair with their free table side (fluffy) baguettes - soupe l'onion - I absolutely loved this! I'm a big fan of onion soup and this had the perfect cheese to soup ratio. Although the three pieces of bread inside soaked up the broth rather quickly. - Steak Tartare - Very light, flavorful and paired nicely with the potato chips - Hokkaido Scallops with saffron risotto - SO GOOD! I believe the scallops were a special item of the nice but they were cooked and flavored to perfection. The saffron risotto was perfectly portioned so I didn't feel too stuffed. It was also just the right texture. All in all, this is a great place for a date, celebration, taking friends from out of town, or just a night out!

Yelp
This is one of our favorite places to eat! Always good, never disappointed, and the food, service and ambience is awesome!!!

Yelp
On my birthday, my husband made a reservation at this restaurant, we were particularly looking forward to ordering our longtime favorite, bouillabaisse, which we had consistently enjoyed at other French establishments. When the waiter delivered the dish, we were surprised to find that it was an unusual dark brown curry paste-like consistency, unlike any bouillabaisse we had encountered previously. Upon tasting, we discovered the flavor was drastically different from the traditional preparation - it was unpleasantly bitter, an attribute we had never experienced with this signature French seafood stew. Concerned that there may have been a miscommunication, we politely spoke with the owner to inquire about the unusual preparation. However, his response was dismissive and unprofessional, claiming that this was the style specific to certain region, and then referred to his Vietnamese wife's mother's cooking and we should accept the taste. Before we could request an alternative, the owner abruptly removed the meal and told us arrogantly to "make sure what the dish is before ordering next time because it is an expensive dish" and immediately dropped us the check, despite the fact that we were still reviewing the menu and had not asked for the bill. Utterly rude, disrespectful attitude. we just paid and left. Worst restaurant owner we have ever met. negative star.

Yelp
Am so in love with this place and the food is *chef's kiss*. They've been around for a while but I experienced them for the first time this last weekend. The service was phenomenal and I almost forgot I was in Pasadena and not in France. We got a variety of items but my fave were the muscles, for sure. Will be back again soon!

Yelp
Finally a French restaurant in Pasadena, and a great one at that! I've been searching for a french restaurant in Pasadena for years now and just came across this one the other day. I must say, they did not disappoint. Very friendly and attentive staff. The noise level inside is loud though. I cant speak for whether the outside seating is less noisy but I will definitely try eating outside next time. Now to the good part, the food. I thought the food was great and very much worthy of it's prices. If you live in or near Pasadena and love French food, make this restaurant a must visit.

Yelp
We found this little gem about a month ago as we were strolling downtown Pasadena and went in for a glass of wine. Thoroughly enjoyed the vibe and the friendliness of the staff. Decided to come back for a proper dinner to celebrate my mom's birthday and I'm glad we did! The food is delicious and the wine pairings are amazing. I got the lavender rack of lamb and OMG so so good! The creme brulee was so tasty too, it wasn't too soft and had the perfect crust. We had an outdoor table which was on the side of the restaurant and it felt super cozy. Once again everyone was extremely friendly and service was great and effortless. Definitely a pricey dinner but well worth the food and overall experience. We will be back!

Yelp
Parking: plenty of parking structures around Atmosphere: a little tight on space, but they make it work Food: we had escargot (of course), mussels, and crudo. All were delicious. Service: terrific all around Overall, it's a great place for a date. Just be sure to get a reservation.

Yelp
We recently enjoyed a vacation in France and were longing for a local restaurant where we could once again experience authentic French gastronomic cuisine. Entre Nous French Bistro was the perfect choice! The atmosphere is intimate and very French and the food was terrific! The menu offers many authentic classic French dishes such as Magret de Canard, Confit de Canard, Moules Frites, Escargot, Entrecote, etc., and everything was fresh and excellent. An extensive wine list is also available. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Feels like the old cafe back in eagle rock. Haven't been here in years since they relocated but came two weeks ago and will start g going often. Food was great and the service has always been impeccable.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this French restaurant for Valentine's since I've only been to one once before! We emailed to make reservations a week before and were able to find parking easily (metered). Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and brought to our seats outside (cozy with heaters yay). We ordered an escargot to start and it was buttery goodness. I dipped the complimentary bread into the butter herb mixture which was so yummy! After much thought and recommendations, we ordered the halibut and ribeye steak. The halibut was so tender, with a Parmesan crust on top and unique sauce that was mildly citrus-sweet. I found it refreshing and the potato crème was delicious! The ribeye was so good, a great choice. So tender, flavorful, juicy...délicieux (pardon my French lol)! We were so full we sadly didn't have room for dessert but we'll be back for dessert and the lamb chops since they didn't have it tonight. :) last but not least, service was impeccable. Merci beaucoup!!! A delightful dinner well spent!

Yelp
I'm revising my review based on Department of Labor allegations the restaurant stole hundreds of thousands of dollars of employees' tips. I won't be going back. Good food, though.

Yelp
It's a very nice French bistro. Duck and steak were great, salad was fine and service was excellent. I'll be back!

Yelp
we celebrated our friends' birthday here, and order several appetizers, main courses, alcohol, and dessert. To name a few things that stuck out from memory - The escargot was buttery but on the bland side. I've had much more flavorful escargot at Vietnamese restaurants, for much less. The ribeye steak was on the dry side (we asked for medium rare), but the french fries were good. The Filet mignon was also on the dry side. The scallops were excellent, but the paired saffron risotto was too tangy. I'm not sure if that's intentional, but none of us liked the saffron risotto. For $60, it was a very pricey dish for 4 scallops and a small saffron risotto. We made the mistake of ordering an extra saffron risotto on the side, for $28, a small portion for sure. My friend's Halibut very good, but i didn't get to try it. We also had the $90 bottle of French wine, which was not worth its price tag (but we all know restaurants upcharge 3x their alcohol anyway). We did get creme broule which was good, and while i enjoyed the Iles Flottantes, the birthday boys didn't. The bill was over $700, and it would have been nice if they comp'd the dessert for our birthday celebration, but it wasn't the case. Overall, we all agreed it was overpriced for the value, quality and quantity. Union, the Arbor, Alta Eats, are still among our favorite top spots.

Yelp
The ambiance was evocative off a true French bistro in Paris; the restaurant was festooned with French movie posters. Authentic French breads!!!! Large wine selection both in glass and bottle. Charcuterie was delightful with pâté and cured meats. Dinner sensational!!!

Yelp
We made a reservation same day via their Email and got a reply immediately. The place is super cute and elegant at the same time. Food are excellent, we ordered some appetizers and loved the 3 type of cheese of chef choice, all three were delicious! Onion soup is very tasty. My husband ordered duck confit (special of the day). Those duck legs have some kind of aged flavor to it and he loved it! I ordered Loup de Mer et Lentil, the fish fillet were pan seared perfectly, lentils beans were so good I could eat all the beans by themselves as a dish. Service level is 5+ stars, we were greeted warmly upon arrival and everyone were helpful and friendly. I will recommend this place to my friends.

Yelp
Great food, great service. We have been here a few times now and the food is consistently amazing. Waiters, owners and staff and all very courteous and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed, upbeat, but feels somehow fancy and casual at the same time. Great place.

Yelp
Cozy and lovely ambiance. Great wine selection. Both indoor and outdoor is gorgeous. I love the indoor wine shelf, it feels like you are in a cozy dinning room at a private house. And outdoor feels like you are just sitting in someone's backyard. Staff are very kind and helpful. Food is tasteful. I only wish that inside music was more mellow jazz style music because when people are talking with the boom boom background music it gets sort of loud inside. Otherwise everything is just lovely with this place.

Yelp
This may be one of my favorite French restaurants in the LA area. The food is fresh and flavorful and cooked with intention. I have never had anything here I did not enjoy. They also have amazing, delicious wines. It is a quaint and romantic restaurant that is perfect for a date night. The service has always been impeccable, and the staff are committed to providing an excellent dining experience. I cannot recommend Entre Nous enough!

Nick S.

Yelp
My gf and I have been wanting to go here and finally did on 12/15/23. I was really glad I went. Every dish was perfect. I can't say enough good things about our Experience. Be sure to order then Onion Soup. We also had scallops with rissoto along with the Duck confite. Ending with dessert and got "the floating island". The flavors here are amazing . I would recommend going here over any trendy restaurant. This place is quality.
google avatar

Katharine S.

Yelp
Well to start out the owners of this place stole a LOT of tips from their workers so boo. But more than that the food is bad. My mussels came out in brown water. The wine is way over priced. And it's not that much fun. Ambiance is fine.
google avatar

L. R.

Yelp
I've been coming to Entre Nous for years, and it is always a remarkable evening of great food, wine, and service. I felt compelled to write a review after reading the complaints from another Yelp review complaining about the staff asking him to turn off the volume on his phone that his child was watching videos on. I guarantee the noise of a phone playing cartoons would have bothered me. In my opinion, this is also what makes this restaurant so special. They create a great environment with classic French film posters on the wall, ambient lighting, and music, and I appreciate that they maintain the integrity of the space for their guests.
google avatar

Raul P.

Yelp
I used to cut them and enjoyed the food and service. My 2 previews reviews reflected this.... However, now we know how the owners behave and stole from their employees. Maybe I'll visit and ask for my tips to be refunded so I can give them back to the staff myself.

Yelp
Certainly not your usual french Bistro, but definitely French fine dining at its best in Pasadena. The partners running Entre Nous are formally from Eagle Rock's premiere French eatery. The menu is refreshingly familiar and executed with the same flair and touch of excellence. The decor is modern perfect for entertaining and the service is warm and attentive. The staff is inviting and always just a glance away. I love how their wine list is far less pretentious than need be. Glasses are priced on par with just having a single serving, and yet if you want to share a bottle you're not going to be shocked or searching for that bargain. Best of all is their menu. It does reflect the spirit of the Bistro. Appetizers are designed to invite you in, and the entrees are the stars of the party with your basics done with perfection and attention to detail. Yes, for all of us who are old fans the new pricing is the new item to get used to needing, but they have maintained their excellence and improved in areas that you thought may not needed anything more.

Yelp
This neighborhood gem comes with pedigree with the owner having years of experience at Cafe Beaujolais. The atmosphere is romantic, the service superb and the food is delicious. I'd like to return and try more of their dishes. Tonight we enjoyed the scallops with risotto and the halibut. The seafood was juicy, tasty and cooked perfectly. For starters we had a refreshing and perfectly seasoned gazpacho. Dessert was the requisite profiteroles; a delight worth breaking the diet. Their wine selection offered some nice French options. This is a wonderful place if you appreciate we'll made French food.

Yelp
I don't give out many 5-star reviews, and the reason is to leave room for places like this that provide an absolutely exceptional dining experience. I've been here twice now and each time was as close to perfection as you can get in my book. First, the ambiance is lovely. It's on leafy (and aptly named) Green Street in Old Town Pasadena and is a charming little spot with great outdoor seating and beautiful lights so it's very warm and inviting. The staff, from the moment you arrive, are even more welcoming and make you feel right at home, even if you're not super familiar with French food and wine. They know their stuff but are completely unpretentious. Now, the food, the glorious food...I've tried a bunch of different dishes here now and they have all been extraordinary. I've been to France several times and eaten at many French restaurants, and this is a cut above. I highly recommend the snails, the filet mignon, and the beef tartare but everything I've tried has been tasty. The wine list is great too, and they can provide recommendations for your food and taste. I hope you will give this place a chance - they deserve it. Perfect for a special occasion or a nice date night.

Yelp
I was taken out to dinner by my boyfriend to this lovely spot in Pasadena. The ambience of this restaurant is beautiful and it wasn't too loud. I found the dining experience wonderful. Some things I noticed were the attentiveness of the waiters. They constantly checked on us, refilled bread, etc. I did notice them check on our tables from afar quite frequently, and sometimes since it is such a small space, often made it feel crowded or super busy. Although, I do think the overall service was superb. The food was also delicious and well prepared. We both ordered fish and both thought ours were light and flaky. All the flavors of our dishes went well together and I thoroughly enjoyed each bite. This place is a beautiful spot to go on a date, celebrate something, or just eat at to enjoy French cuisine. I will always keep this place in mind in the future when looking somewhere special and classy to dine at. Thank you for a great experience!
