Who would ever build a high-end restaurant on the north eastern quadrant of a four way road intersection in the middle of nowhere? You need even more courage to paint the building orange-red. On my way to the Notre-Dame du Haut chapel in Ronchamp I stopped to have lunch in this restaurant that overlooks the Doubs river valley. There is a large terrace on the river side of the property, not open this rainy last Friday of April 2025. Thursdays and Fridays they offer a farmer's market lunch menu for a very affordable price. It was delicious, perfectly cooked and generous, served by a pleasant staff and supervised by Rachel's, part of the owner couple, falcon eyes. The wine list displaying mostly bottled choices is impressive but I found the offer of reds by the glass too restricted. The kitchen is placed diagonally from the three dining areas and there is not a scent of kitchen odor which is really nice. Overall, a very good experience with excellent value for money. You will find the address in the Michelin guide application. Highly recommended!
