"On Place Hamelin, in Honfleur's historical quarter, this restaurant is accommodated in the house that is said to be the 1768 birthplace of JFE Hamelin, a rear admiral in Napoleon Bonaparte's navy. The space – typical of Normandy, with its half-timbered walls and exposed stonework – is the perfect place in which to sample seasonal dishes that embrace both meat and fish (as the name suggests). The roast sea bream, herb jus, beans and redcurrants are steamed to perfection and beautifully presented. Small terrace for fine weather." - Michelin Inspector

Absolutely excellent restaurant! We came for a quick snack before going to the museum, the oysters were cold and fresh, prawns were juicy, and the service was standout! Super friendly, offered extra water. We were pleasantly surprised! Thank you!

Entre Terre & Mer is an excellent Restaurant, nestled in the beautiful and vibrant Rue de Panier. Busy and full of life, sitting outside isn’t for those that want a quiet meal, (although we did) Booking in advance would likely remedy that with seating inside. We shared a seafood platter, which was perfect for two. It was supremely delicious, being as fresh as it’s possible to get. The Oysters were big and creamy and sweet, the Prawns crunchy and bursting with flavour and there were a delightful assortment of Cockles and Whelks. The only thing missing was the Crab, which I would love to go back to try. It was extremely busy when we went, and our order got somewhat lost for a bit. But the food was so good, it was an easy mistake to forgive. The staff were also very friendly, and made the effort to speak to us in English, and humoured our broken French. All in all some of the best seafood I have had in France. Well worth a visit, and even a detour.

I was recommended this restaurant for seafood and it was worth every bit! Quaint, off the beaten path, cozy and comfortable, the service was quick and the food on another level

All in all the perfect restaurant for dinner! We ordered a mix plate with french cheese and ham. Then we had the full plate of sea food. Every single thing you eat here is very fresh and prepared perfectly. This restaurant is for me the best in town! Staff… very friendly and helpful. Thanks guys for the amazing evening!

Rating: ★★★★☆ Entre Terre et Mer is a charming spot with really good food and sweet staff who are always smiling. The location is perfect for enjoying a beautiful sunset while you dine. The seafood and charcuterie are top-notch, and the drinks pair perfectly with the meal. However, be sure to make a reservation—waiting times can be long if you don't. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for great food and a relaxed atmosphere with a view.

Situated on a lovely picturesque street Rue du Panier , this place is a small bistro where you can eat both seafood and cold cuts &cheese platters. Loved to be seated outside, where you can see people passing by and enjoying the view on this cute local street. As this place is very popular - make sure to book your table, specially on weekend. Service is good, but overwhelmed with the number of customers.

Very cozy and delicious. It’s clearly popular among tourists but doesn’t have that typical touristy feel. We did experience an issue with our reservation, as another group was seated before us, even though we arrived first and had the same reservation time. However, the restaurant handled it well, quickly arranging an extra table and ensuring we felt comfortable.

Yelp
Love this place! Keep in mind that it is not your usual tourist trap. Located in eclectic neighborhood with limited tables and chairs outside in hilly alley/road. Basically, be prepared to somewhat balance on your chair, but well worth it. Made reservation for six of us and we all loved everything about the evening. Owner was incredibly friendly and very attentive to everyone. Loved her sense of humor and willingness to engage. Food wasn't inexpensive, but tower of seafood was incredibly fresh and tasty. Wine recommendations were perfect. Don't miss on the home made gelato. I would say it was most enjoyable meal we had in Marseille, France and it wasn't anywhere near the harbor. Go figure! Our friends were from France and Canada and we just loved how much fun we all had that evening. Make a reservation or very unlikely you'll get a table. Enjoy!

Yelp
This place was such a lucky find - we had wandered all over Marseille on an August Monday night and EVERYTHING was closed. All the restaurants we'd been hunting for were shut, and we finally just had to take a chance. Fortunately we were in this fun, artsy neighbourhood, and this place caught our eye when we saw the huge platters of seafood. When in a coastal French town, do as the Marseillaise do! The service was very warm and friendly, to the point where the owner allowed my husband to buy, for 1 euro, the beer glass from which he was drinking to add to his collection (don't worry, we left a big tip). It had a very relaxed feel, with cute streetside dining where you could watch the world go by. For a very reasonable price, we ordered a small charcuterie platter and a small seafood platter - but this was more than enough food! We had large wedges of 4 different cheeses, as well as sliced sausages and parma ham, fruit preserves, tomatoes, pickles, and plenty of bread. The seafood platter arrived beautifully on ice, featuring plenty of oysters, crab legs, mussels, some of the best prawns I've ever had, clams, and snails (could've lived without them - they're chewy!) What a treat. We ate, and ate, going through baskets of bread slathered with sweet butter, dipping our cold fish in garlicky aioli, layering hunks of meat and cheese greedily onto the bread, and generally being incredibly decadent. Everything was gorgeous, it's just what you would want in a meal. So much variety, everything fresh. Order smaller platters than you think you need, as the portions are generous and you'll fill up eating so much fresh bread too! The place looked new, and doesn't seem to have much online presence. Spread the word, this place deserves the business!

Yelp
Really enjoyed this place. Their menu is very simple - seafood, ham, cheese. What else do you need? The house white wine was inexpensive and very good. We ordered a "petit" mix of hams and cheese and a "petit / degustation" seafood platter. With the excellent bread, way enough food. Service was friendly. The owner was just setting up additional tables on the alley once it got busy.

Yelp
Delicious!! So glad I came here even with few reviews. The owner and staff are attentive and the seafood was so fresh and tasty!
