Food tasted great. Service was slow for breakfast. Seats were close to other tables and hard to talk over other tables. They offer dairy free, gluten free, vegan, vegetarian options.

Has a wonderful lunch a little pricey but was worth it. The salmon was great and the mushrooms with leeks were perfectly balance and flavorful. The dessert was a hit. What flavors hit your palate.

Food and drinks were great. The afternoon tea experience was amazing. Service was great and friendly.

The staff is wonderful, professional and kind. The food here has consistently been good. The ambience in the old space is great. They have good musical guests. It gets busy but you can still have conversation and hear. The menu has variety.

I really enjoyed eating here. The staff was very accommodating even allowing us to sit right at the fireplace. It was warm and beautiful and I loved the food. I would highly recommend.

Mouna was an excellent waitress. Her customer service skills make me rate this experience 5 stars or above.

Google
a quiet, elevated breakfast experience. we got espresso martinis, the Virginia breakfast and chestnut french toast, everything was so good. the views and atmosphere were comforting with that luxurious feel. can’t wait to come back!

Please enjoy the photo of my $12 waffle...this way I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. The orange juice was good though. The service is average. The pancake had a weird flavor of “I’m cooked on a surface with a bunch of other foods and hardly get cleaned.” The restaurant itself is nice and has a great, patriotic, atmosphere.

Yelp
The service is wonderful! The staff is extremely responsive, kind, and helpful with all of our requests. The food, we only ordered breakfast, was however, not as excellent. The salmon was delicious but the bagel I swear could've come straight from a bag of Thomas' Bagels (you know, the ones that they sell at any grocery store?) it was tasty nonetheless minus the bagel. The burrito was appealing- a bit off to have asparagus but what was even more interesting was the salsa that came with it (not pictured). The burrito was served with a small portion of salsa and both me and my girlfriend swear it tastes identical to Tostitos Chunk Mild Salsa from the jar. There's probably better food to eat around there for brunch but it is nonetheless an enjoyable time.

Yelp
So, my dinner was closer to 5 stars, but breakfast a solid 3. Hence meeting in the middle with my 4 star score. The ambience is very business like - fine for my dinner alone. We stuck out as a family of four having breakfast the next morning though. My braised beef was perfect for dinner - I asked my server if he had a knife and he responded I wouldn't need one - and he was very right! Great flavors as well. My breakfast "steak and eggs" however were very disappointing. The steak was chewy and I think I just kept waiting for the next bite to get better - it didn't. The prices were also fair.

Yelp
Ate here for breakfast while staying at The Ritz and really enjoyed it. The shakshouka was nice as was the avocado toast. My husband really enjoyed his omelet. If there had been open reservations for dinner we would have eaten here in the evenings but unfortunately it was all booked up. Would definitely return here if in the area.

Dwight S.

Yelp
Had two breakfast dishes here: the shakshuka and the frittata. The shakshuka was excellent - albeit small for the price point. Really enjoyed the combination of flavors as well as the small spice element. The frittata was somewhat more filling, particularly given the multitude of customizable ingredients available. The service was decent. Friendly and accommodative where applicable. To be honest, they were not as present as they could have been; I sometimes had to get up to find someone to get me water. Ambiance has an elegant feel about it - right in the hotel lobby. And there were several different types of tables available for various party sizes.

Yelp
07.21 Had dinner with a friend after spending a few hours at Neiman's. Pleasantly surprised that the lobby and bistro reno had been completed. Last time hubs and I stayed at the hotel in March, it was boarded up and entyse was moved over to the ballroom. Impressed with how it turned out, very modern with a casual elegance. We didn't plan on coming in for dinner, we're both wearing jeans but didn't feel out of place. Ordered beet root salad and Caesar salad with grilled salmon. Loved the beet but Caesar salad was to plain, could use a little oomph with presentation. Braised beef per friend was good. Had a bite and indeed had good flavor and super tender. Service was excellent as usual.

Yelp
Inside the Ritz Carlton, Entyse Bistro is a great place for breakfast. Simple decor, good food, and great customer service. I ordered the Virginian, which is simply eggs benedict, with crab meat, and Virginian ham. Who knew about Virginian Ham? I love pork, so this was a home run for me. Everything sat atop an English Muffin, which I didn't touch. Just give me the protein, please :-) I also indulged in coffee, which was actually pretty good black. Entyse also offers Bloody Mary's, Mimosas, and Bellinis. This is a solid breakfast spot. Give it a try.

Yelp
BE AWARE! My last two experiences at this alleged upscale eatery were disastrous. The first time ended when shortly thereafter my wife became deathly ill. The second and last time we will ever eat there, they served overcooked salmon and decided to take me to the cleaners by padding my bill with two extra side dishes that should have been included with the main dish. That is what I call a classic ripoff. For starters they served a Caesar Salad in a bowl that was over saturated with what they consider Caesar dressing. I call it a sopping mess. For desert the cheapest possible vanilla ice cream accompanied my warm chocolate cake that was prepared with the farthest thing from TLC. By the way, avoid the burgers altogether unless you have an affinity too consume pink slime. Do yourself an economical favor, spend your money somewhere else. It's amazing because I was a regular customer. If that's what they think of their regulars imagine what they'll do to you? Bring Rolaids and Pepto Bismo. You're going to need them.

Yelp
Surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. We ordered in room service. The food were delivered fresh and on time. The french toast with pecan and raisin provided an interesting twist. The poached egg muffin was cooked perfectly, just a little bit salty for me.

Yelp
Entice your appetizing senses at Entyse bistro. I love a good breakfast at any classy/boujee restaurant and Ritz Carlton never disappoints. My friend and I ordered different menu options to get a feel for the menu. I had two eggs cooked scrambled with potatoes, veggies, coffee, juice etc. My friend ordered waffles and oatmeal. Our food choices were all excellent in taste. The server kept on forgetting to get things for my friend. She brought my food first and didn't get my friend coffee by that time etc. It was highly lackluster service but the food made up for it. At the end, we did order creme brûlée that made everything ok with its decadent richness. I would like to try their afternoon tea option and hope for better customer service while dining here. Overall a gorgeous place to dine and enjoy good convos with loved ones.~

Yelp
Wow. Just wow! We dined here for both breakfast and dinner for our week long stay. I cannot not rave about the food or service more! By our third day our breakfast waitress and dinner waiter didn't even need to brnig us menus. They were also generously kind to allow us to sit in areas that were not being used because of a hearing issue I have. I feel like a jerk for not remembering their names but I'd bet my life that they are all equally as lovely! We visit The Ritz often and have never had a bad experience!

Yelp
I held my sister's bridal shower here at the gorgeous tea room in Entyse bistro. The service was impeccable! I can't thank Vincente and his team enough. The high tea menu was sooooo delicious, each bite was better than the next. The price and private reservation was such a good price for the personalized service and food. I am so thankful for that team and i can't wait to dine and stay at the Ritz again soon!

Yelp
Entyse Bistro is a wine/lounge bistro located inside the Ritz. They offer a breakfast, lunch, brunch, and a drink menu, with a comfortable relaxing vibe with clean, bright patriotic-esque decor. I came here recently for a birthday celebratory brunch. There are AYCE options, such as the raw bar (situated by the bar with shrimp cocktail, sprinkled with Old Bay seasonings, cocktail and brandy cream sauce, crisp flatbread crackers (super addicting!), and a chilled crab dip); various salads; cheeses; charcuterie; smoked salmon on avocado toast; nuts; dried fruits; fresh fruit; and, desserts. I was a little sad that I didn't get to see any of the 'On the Pass' items, such as the frittata, the hash brown casserole, and the bacon/sausages! You also get to order an entree from the brunch menu! We ordered The Virginian (poached eggs, lump crab, Virginia ham, and old bay hollandaise sauce; the Virginia ham is salty, so just keep that in mind; this eggs benedict was pretty okay), and the Steak, Eggs & Frites (grilled flat iron steak, two eggs, a side of truffle fries, and chipotle hollandaise on the side; the steak was juicy, eggs were more over hard rather than over medium, and the truffle fries were pretty tasty). I basically stuffed myself on the camembert, the smoked salmon avocado toast, the leek croissant pastry, the flat bread crackers and the crab dip, and the raspberry champagne trifle (YUM!). The Tysons Peanut Butter Cream Pie was pretty good, too, and will be a favorite for any peanut butter fan. I loved the attention to detail, as my dear friend also received a triple chocolate layer cake with candles and a 'Happy Birthday' message! The cake was dense, moist, and decadent! Service was friendly, from the super welcoming host to our server. I highly recommend in making a reservation for their Sunday Brunch and eat to your heart's (and stomach's) content! Definitely one of the better brunch options around the NoVA area, I'll definitely be back to try out their other brunch entree options and find those breakfast sausages! You'll definitely be leaving stuffed! +AYCE Sunday Brunch! +main entree included +located inside the Ritz - 4th floor +online reservations accepted +friendly staff! +complimentary valet included in brunch

Yelp
Troy was my server and he was incredibly kind and attentive. My biggest beef with hotel restaurants is usually how long you have to wait before being served, and how long it often takes to check out. Troy was able to help me get me paid up and on my way to work quite promptly, which I really appreciated at the start of the business day. For my food I had the omelette -- pro tip you can get as many fillings as you want; not just three! The bacon and ham were freshly cooked and full of texture. The eggs themselves were beautifully cooked and not overdone, and the hash browns themselves were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside... nice contrast with the eggs, plus you get blistered tomato and asparagus on the side. Definitely recommended! When I come back I'm going to try one of their cold presses!

Yelp
Considering this restaurant is part of the gorgeous Ritz, it's a bit disappointing. The hazelnut beignet was tasty but oily, the truffle fries -pretty good, but the crab and avocado was a total bust. The crab was served cold and sadly was very fishy, the avocado was bland and lemony. I seasoned it with black pepper and salt and picked off the crab, and that was must more enjoyable. Although the service was good and the restaurant was cute, Virginia/DC gas so much better to offer.

Yelp
I was looking forward to celebrate my birthday with the Afternoon Tea. Unfortunately, they have no availability until March.

Yelp
Entyse has an open kitchen and is located in the Ritz-Carlton. Dined there on 12/10. From entrance to exit, the experience was incredible. Fresh food served quickly and hot with fresh squeezed juice in a great atmosphere to start the day. The food is carefully prepared, delish and inexpensive! Had the Pecan Raisin Brioche French Toast with apple compote ($12); Tysons two eggs, potatoes, meat, toast, juice, coffee ($20); and Three Egg Omelet with choice of fillings and potatoes ($16). The potatoes are actually crispy hash brown wedges (plus!). Fillings choices: smoked salmon, ham, bacon, bell pepper, mushroom, tomato, spinach, cheddar, swiss; or take it up a notch for $6: lobster, crab, shaved truffle. The Grit: Entyse has lagniappe--that is, a little something extra!

Yelp
Brunch at the Ritz's Entyse was phenomenal!! The setting was more casual than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. The "We The People" sign above the kitchen adds a perfectly American touch. It was a little hard to find Entyse when entering through the mall, but the staff was very friendly in helping us find it!! They also take reservations in advance without putting a card down, though it can be difficult to reach the restaurant at times via phone (we had to change our time) and the hotel concierge cannot do that for you. The setup of brunch is part sit-down and part buffet. First we ordered mimosas for the table ($4 each- pretty good deal) and coffee/tea was complimentary. One area of the buffet was hot foods such as mini eggs benedict (amazing) and mini french toast. Another area was an entire room with cole items such as charcuterie boards, different types of toast such as salmon spread & avocado, breads/pastries, and fruit. There was a multitude of desserts in this room as well. In another section, there was a cold shrimp bar with many sauces (I don't eat shrimp but it looked great). Then there's the sit down entree portion. There are a variety of options from a healthy omelette to a giant waffle with sausage gravy. I got the steak frites which had the most amazing spicy hollandaise sauce!! The presentation of the food wasn't wonderful, or as nice as I expected, but the truffle fries made up for it- that's for sure! The waiter was very attentive to make sure we got to order when we were done with the buffet part. It was relatively casual but everyone was wearing their "sunday best" and we fit right in. 10/10!

Yelp
Fine but way too expensive for the quality of the food. Felt a little stuffy but service was good. It was absolutely freezing in the restaurant at lunch time so bring a sweater. The women I was with were all bundled up and shivering and didn't feel like ordering iced teas or other drinks because we were too chilly. My friend ordered the burger which was probably the best bite I had at our table. Other options were fine if a little bland (turkey club, rice pilaf dish, salad)

Marc M.

Yelp
Fairly casual dining room with some nice booths near the large windows. Came for brunch and they have a hybrid formula. You order an entree off the menu, and then there are a bunch of sides and desserts from the buffet. I had the ribs which had a good sauce, but were a little dry on the edges. Still pretty good though. The buffet then has standard breakfast options of sausages, bacon, various deli meats, shrimp, cheeses, salad, pastries, and some decent desserts. Everything was good, but not necessarily anything special. It's a good spot for a larger group as the booths are big and they have some larger tables. Big selection makes bringing a group of picky eaters easy.

Marvin L.

Yelp
Came here with a party of 5 out of town guests for Sunday Brunch. Was quite empty in the restaurant (about half full). The brunch is a partial buffet. You order a main course off the menu and they have 3 stations with some side items. We were quite disappointed with the size and scale of the brunch as our expectations were high being a Ritz Carlton and having experience with this hotel brand and the Four Seasons. Service was terrible, it was slow and spotty, servers seemed to be very short and out of synch. We had to grab any server walking by to fill our coffee and juices and to remove plates. Again, you go to a Ritz for the service and quality and they were off on this particular day. There are so many options in this area that we will probably go elsewhere for brunch in the future.

Yelp
Lunch service Food - meh. Wings were good at first bite but then quickly faded. Like a stick of juicy fruit gum. The calamari was far too greasy and the breading did not stick to the squid. The fish sandwich was far too greasy, as was the bun and fries and was way under salted. Service was good. Decor was odd. Sitting at the back tables, the table was about upper chest high. I'm 6 feet tall so imagine if you were a shorter person. Overall will not come back, especially for the price. It was clear why the place was so empty.

Akua O.

Yelp
BRUNCH Review! This place was phenomenal! For ~$35pp, you get unlimited buffet, and ordered entree, and access to a special snacks table to take away yummy goodies like artisan popcorns, nuts and handmade candies! I was shocked. We booked this place for father's day because we were late on finding a place in DC, and you know how quickly all that stuff books up. So I called around to all the Ritz hotels and this one surprisingly had a lot of openings. I stifled my expectations because I was certain it wasn't going to be good for under $40 and with so many father's day openings. Boy was I shocked! I wish i had taken pictures but let me tell you this is our new weekly sunday brunch spot. a Must. Try. Also note that they will validate parking!

Chris J.

Yelp
This place just opened and it's already hitting on all cylinders! I went in for their Sunday Brunch and it was Leg-en-dary!! It's a la carte and buffet! Best of both worlds. Oh and $2 mimosas...at The Ritz!!!?? Yes,please! Buffet includes some of the best cheeses and charcuteries. Have you ever had couple goat cheese, it's insane!! They served Ivy City Smoked salmon sliders on bantam bagels, I swore I ate 4 of these things. Buffet was bountiful, full of fruits and bakeries and had a unique snack table that included mint chocolate espresso beans. This all before my entree which was a "corned" short rib hash which blew my socks off. This dish felt like corned beef hash big brother. Full of short rib cooked like corned beef and poached eggs with some sort of tomato hollandaise. I can't wait to go back in two weeks with my family coming into town!

Rapz B.

Yelp
Afternoon tea was a total ripoff!! It's $48/head for bland, micro size pieces of bread with a spread on the top. They gave a pot of tea as well and some sweet treats which weren't that bad. Total for 2 people we ended up paying $100+ without the tip. Very grand ambiance and the presentation was classy. But that doesn't make up for my $100! Would never return and do not recommend this ripoff afternoon tea to anyone.

Erin L.

Yelp
One of the best customer service I've ever seen! The quality of the food is great and it's delicious. Next week I'm coming again haha :)

Sebastian C.

Yelp
As someone who was just coming from the shopping mall, but not a guest at Ritz-Carlton, I went in just to get a cup of coffee. Victor, the manager, asked me what he could help me with as I entered and I told him that I just wanted some coffee. Not sure why, but he let me have it on the house. How nice of him.

Christine N.

Yelp
Excellent brunch menu on Sundays. For $43 you can have a variety of dishes from chicken sausage, grilled shrimp, crab cake, asparagus, carrots, plenty of dessert etc. this is just the buffet- you can order a main entree which includes shrimp crab cake duo, chicken and waffle, steak eggs and frites, vegetarian hash, and other choices. You can also get coffee, mimosa, Bloody Mary, flight of wines. Overall, our party of four enjoyed the variety and quality. Everything was cooked well and tasted great and served fresh. It does get a little busy so it was hard to get drinks on time, but it is worth it at that end. I'd recommend reserving a table in the morning before they get really busy.

Kobie C.

Yelp
I started with the Crab cake appetizer which was delicious and for the entree I had the Blackened Grouper Sandwich which is the best I have had thus far. But, the warm apple crumble crisp was the cherry on top. Will be back with a few more people to enjoy. Our waiter was gracious and welcoming.

Barry O.

Yelp
Very busy and casual spot to eat at the Ritz Carlton. A bit more casual than I expected. Sat at the bar to eat since they were so busy. I started with coffee, pretty good not great. The fresh squeezed orange juice was very good at $7 glass. I had the citrus bowl with grapefruit and oranges- fresh and delicious. I also decided to go with the Virginian Eggs Benedict. Traditional Benedict but with crab cakes. It was very good and very rich and also $24. Pricing is what you expect here but my room came with $60 breakfast credit so it covered my $45 breakfast. They were setting up for brunch that looks incredible but it's off to the gym for me.

Emily L.

Yelp
I like this place. I think you need to realize you are in a hotel bar/restaurant and adjust your expectations accordingly. My in-laws always stay at this ritz when they are in town, so we come here fairly often. They have live music of the weekends, the beer and wine selection is very good, the service is always great, and the validate parking. I think this is one of the only places in the area where you can get Taittinger by the glass.

Anne G.

Yelp
My mom and went to Entyse, at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons, this week and it was horrible. We wanted to celebrate the end of a long and arduous time for our family, and decided to have breakfast at the bistro. There is no way to sugar coat our experience-it was bad. We sat down, and it took 15 minutes before we got a coffee. It was another 15 minutes before we got some toast to hold us over. Then, when the very hapless and untrained waitress finally got back to us with our entrees which were terrible. The potatoes had been cooked days ago-they were dried out, and not even warmed up. The ham my mom had was dried out too, and the only saving grace was a couple of tasty lobster bits in my omelet. We both agreed that we could have gotten a better meal, and significantly better service, at Denny's. We never once got our coffee cups or water glasses refilled. It was an expensive and truly disappointing experience. We definitely won't be back!

Toby W.

Yelp
This was one of the finest Sunday brunches I've had. A great menu concept, where you have a full selection of hot and cold items buffet-style (including a seafood bar, several desserts, and some great meats & cheese) and an extensive list of kitchen-prepared items off a printed menu, all for the same price point. Staff were warm and helpful, the food was all very nicely prepared and delicious, and they even cover parking for locals who aren't guests at the hotel. The location is nicely decorated and access from throughout the NoVa region is easy due to the central location. Well worth a trip!
