Enza Ramen opens in Henderson - Eater Vegas

"Joining the growing influx of pan-Asian restaurants in the region, Enza Ramen has settled into its fixed hours and menu, replacing 100 Degree Hot Pot, Ramen & Boba in a corner space at the Wigwam Center, close to the intersection of Stephanie Street and Wigwam Parkway, and next door to Poke Poku Hawaiian Poke Bar. The casual full-service restaurant features a value priced menu with appetizers such as chicken karaage, calamari tempura, takoyaki, and wasabi cream shrimp, all priced at less than $5. Donburi, a Japanese rice bowl, options include bulgogi, chashu, and chicken katsu and the restaurant specialties are headlined by its namesake ramen dish, created with tonkotsu broth, sesame miso, pork back rib, and a soft boiled egg, also available as a seafood variation. Other ramen dishes can be prepared with four rising levels of heat, plus cold noodles, vegetables, or shoyu, miso, and tonkotsu ingredients." - Bradley Martin

Yelp
What a delicious and fantastic ramen. I stopped by for lunch. I originally wanted Miso Ramen. However, I wanted to substitute the thin noodles for thicker noodles but was told they would not do that. I understood because certain noodles hold the broth and flavor. With that said, I changed my order and had the Signature Enza Ramen since it came with thicker noodles. Oh my, the soup was outstanding. I slurped and slurped. The added touch of the tender pork rib was flavorful. The noodles were also cooked to my liking. One of my pet peeves is overcooked noodles, and this dish was far from it. Overall, it was a great spot that I'd come back to.

Yelp
Food Was Delicious, Friendly staff. So many different choices from Ramen to Sushi to Rice meals I will need to come back to try more. The atmosphere was nice, not to bright and not to dark. The Music was good too , todays Hits played on TV screen. I came one hour before closing so it wasnt busy.

Yelp
My first visit here was prior to COVID lock down. Back then I was looking for jajangmyun like they serve at Jin Jin and found this place. They have something similar called Jajang Ramen. On this visit we ordered the Jajang Ramen, Shoyu Ramen, and the Sweet Chili Shrimp. The black bean sauce on the Jajang Ramen was good as the last time but was a bit different compared to what you get at a Chinese restaurant. If you order the Shoyu Ramen here be sure to ask for less salty because it was way too salty and the broth was overpowered by the saltiness. The sweet chilli shrimp app looked better than it tasted. It was good but the sauce that was on it tasted like it was store bought. The service here was good today with both waitresses. checking up on us. 4 stars just because I liked the Jajang Ramen.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! They have ice cold draft Sapporo, delicious Ramen! I always get the vegetable ramen medium heat! It's soooo good! The staff is so nice. And the restaurant is always clean! Also a good place for larger parties! Now stop reading this review and get to Enza!!!

Yelp
Came here after a doctor appointment. Place was not busy. The girl that sat us at our table was also our waitress. She didn't seem to know much about the menu. Maybe she was new. Not sure. But she wasn't a very good waitress. Didn't smile or try to communicate with us. First my meal I had the Tonkotsu ramen and to share we had shrimp tempura & wasabi cream shrimp My wife had the chicken katsu. The food itself was nothing outrageous. The taste was ok. But I have definitely had better. My wife didn't really care for her chicken katsu but she enjoyed the wasabi cream shrimp. My ramen was missing some spicy oil. So it was just ok. I didn't care for the wasabi cream shrimp cause it was a little bit too sweet for me. My first visit here. I wouldn't waste my time coming back though.

Yelp
Second time stopping by Enza and it's very good and reasonably priced. Ordered the curry with medium spice levels (specifically spice level two) with chicken Katsu and it was still pretty spicy. Love their food though and nice to see their menu continuously expanding. Service is quick too.

Yelp
I was trying to find soup between where I was and my hotel. Found a place that delivered, tried to place my order and somehow a ramen and pork bau order came out to $49. Nope not paying that much. I found Enza close to my hotel so I drove over there. Service was good, and the food is great! I have the takoyaki which is good and Enza special ramen. It's really good.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! Not only is the food delicious, but the staff and the environment are super welcoming and friendly. I love eating here!

Yelp
Started off with the spicy ribs and the shrimp tempura. The tempura and onions were fried deliciously and light. The ribs had a sauce that was neither great nor horrible, but at least the were meaty. Wanted to try something different for my main, so I went with the creamy bulgolgi ramen. I wasn't really sure what to expect but it was very cheesy-- I didn't think it went well together. My wife ordered the challenge ramen (just to eat leisurely, not to complete the challenge). It was pretty spicy, but could be worse. And there wasn't much in it; some more veggies and a little more meat wouldn't have hurt. Definitely preferred hers over mine. I'd probably only come back to try a regular ramen (they wouldn't let us do the signature Enzo in spice level 5) -Excellent service. Very friendly and happy

Yelp
Let me start by saying, I'm not a ramen person. My fiancé wanted to try this place because the photos looked really good. I said sure why not. I'm always open to trying things because you never know! In this case, I'm so glad we came here. We arrived and were seated right away. Our waitress came and brought us some waters and plates. We both ordered the signature Enza ramen, which came with a pork rib instead of pork chashu. We also ordered a Blossom roll to share. The signature ramen broth was really good, I loved the sesame flavour. I thought the pork rib was really dry despite being soaked in the broth, and asked if I could have a side of pork chashu for the ramen, and they said they don't do that. I think the ramen would have tasted better if they used pork chashu, and they should at least give the option to switch it out with the pork rib so as not to waste it since I just don't eat it. The Blossom roll was really good, too. Aside from that, the noodle, broth, and veggies really tasted good, and I will still be coming here for their signature ramen.

Yelp
Ordered take out. It was okay. My chicken teriyaki didn't come with sauce. That was a bit disappointing as I like a lot of sauce. Ramen was a good choice. Broth was tasty. They do close exactly at 10:30 so make sure you are there with plenty of time to eat by then. Staff was friendly and helpful with helping us choose selections. The decor was cute. Would like to try done in next time.

Yelp
That was probably one of the roughest visits to a ramen restaurant ever. Upon arrival the servers "seemed" busy but it wasn't full. After being seated the server seats me and after picking 3 things each one came with oof I'm sorry we don't have that today. After finally ordering signature ramen, takoyaki, and a spicy salmon roll the chef says no more sushi orders.. doh! It took almost 40 min for my food to arrive. I don't think I've sat at a ramen restaurant from start to finish for that long! Sheesh. The takoyaki was cold. The sushi just had a lot of rice and the ramen just was lacking in flavor. I wanted salt because it was so plain for me. The broth just seemed sweet more than savory. I'm also sitting in front of a sign that says buy one get one free beer which didn't happen soooooo why even have the sign up? Definitely won't be coming back. Bummer.

Yelp
Really good ramen spot in a place of town that severely lacks asian representation. Had the miso ramen and spicy salmon roll, both delicious. Server was friendly. Only downside for older folks is no physical menu, not even QR Code, you have to go and google the menu.

Yelp
I usually have great service, it's unfortunate that this time was different. I ordered an appetizer and two rolls. The appetizer wasn't my favorite, but as usual the rolls were amazing. My waitress was not good. It was more socializing with other staff going on than actually servicing. I had to eat my sushi with my hands, which was...interesting. I think paying more attention to detail and being alert would have helped the experience. I've been here many times and this type of thing has never occurred. Unfortunately, I don't see myself coming here again after today.

Yelp
A great place to enjoy both Ramen and some sushi rolls with the fam. Been here several times in the past and have never been disappointed with either the food or their service. It is a bit of a drive for us to their location on Stephanie but it's worth it, especially this time of the year as the temp is dropping. A nice selection of Ramen from "plain" to their Signature Enza Ramen that has everything from all the veggies to even a few pork ribs that are absolutely fall off the bone tender. They offer four levels of spice and one that is off the scale as well. If you don't like spicy broth then you can ask them not to add any, but I like at least some spice kick. The gyoza is pretty tasty and is served either steamed or fried. A must have on the menu is definitely the garlic fried rice. It's a bit oily but as they say, "fat is flavor" and this one is full of flavor in a good way. They have Sapporo beer on draft as well as several flavors of Soju (korean distilled rice wine). My thanks to Enza and their great staff for always delicious food and fast, friendly service at affordable prices.

Yelp
Hours say they're open until 9:30 PM but I believe this business is permanently closed. Called multiple times a couple days ago around 7 and nobody picked up. Came here this evening and although the sign says open it was pitch black and doors were locked.
google avatar

Pua A.

Yelp
The open sign is blinking but they were closed at 7:58 pm on a Friday night. Yelp says they are open but doors were locked.

Yelp
Food was very good and the portions were great especially with the price. It wasn't too busy most of our stay but it did pick up, the service kind of lacked unfortunately. Ambiance was okay but the bench seating had zero back support as you will sink in.

Yelp
This review is solely for the customer service from one server. Which sadly is all it takes to sour any guest's experience. I feel terrible that I am only now reviewing this place as we eat here OFTEN. To go, and dine in. And it has ALWAYS been great. Service and food. The server is Francisca I believe. This is the second time we have had her in a 2 week span. The first time with her a few weeks back, she didn't write any of our orders down, just memorized them, and ended messing up one of our orders, putting the "spice" of the ramen on the side. Which was just chili oil. To which she just stated we could add it in ourselves and it would be the same thing, when we brought it to her attention. This second time she was terrible. My mother in law ordered the Enza ramen, which comes with ribs in it, and asked for the ribs on the side (which we have done a NUMBER of times). Both to go, and dine in. Enza has the signature ribs with the tangy spicy sauce, that is delicious, which is what we've always got when the ribs come on the side. This time, they came out and had plain teriyaki on them. We brought it to her attention, and she proceeded to explain that this is how they always handle side orders of ribs, or ribs on the side, and that the special sauce only comes with the appetizer order of ribs. We found this odd, but didn't bother to make a big deal of it, and asked her to please go ahead and get the regular ribs out, extra charge is fine. She then proceeds to make a statement to my mother in law again that we ordered it wrong. And that this is how it's always done. I stopped her and asked to please just get the new order going as it didnt matter, and an extra charge is fine, we just want to eat. She still doesn't leave! Continues to stand there, and proceed to advise my mother in law of how she needs to order the ribs next time correctly, and that we did not order correctly. I cut her off once more and just stated, we have been coming here longer than she's worked there. And never once had the ribs, side order or not, come out with teriyaki. And none the less, we don't care, just PLEASE get our order of ribs going. She finally stopped after that. Good lord, just typing this out was exhausting, imagine how it was in the restaurant. We will for sure always be back to Enza as it is one of our favs as the food is always great, and prior to these past 2 experiences, the service was always great.

Yelp
GO HERE! Very good ramen. the signature came with a lot of meat which was delicious. good prices good service. they also have a ramen challenge if you want to test your spicy tolerance. we got mild for our ramen and we didn't find it too terribly spicy. it's a cute little ramen shop and we will be coming back here again soon.

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant 3 or 4 times and each time I have been happy with the service and food quality. I feel very warm and welcomed when I am visiting and have not waited longer than 20 min for my food to arrive. When ordering ramen I do wish that the sha shu was charred and the boiled egg was a soft boiled egg with a nice runny center. There also have been inconsistencies with the ramen as sometimes my bowl has more where my girlfriend has less or vice versa. Either way the ramen is really good for the price point. Tonkatsu and curry ramen are phenomenal! I'd recommend this spot if you're looking for something quick and economical.

Yelp
I found this place close by to my residence, I went in there once by myself ordered the roll & the beer for $7.77, came back another day and brought someone with me to bring more business, and we also d the same special. came back a third time brought somebody with me to bring you get more business because I like the place we ordered three rolls between the two of us. Then I go back and they tell me all of the sudden that it's only one per person. The only thing I don't appreciate as it does not say on the menu on the website on Instagram that this is the rule, and for them to change it all of a sudden it's not welcoming, or good business. It could've been the rule originally but it's not printed anywhere on the website or on the menu. redo your menu or its false advertising. ******** UPDATE************** They have been very nice and hospitable since going back I'm not sure if the limit applies on my IG they did say I can it's unlimited or "you can order 100 times" which was nice! Thank you for the clarification.

Yelp
The food used to be much better. The service is a 5/10. Takes much too long The reason I will not return is because they charged me .50 for a condiment. Spicy mayo to dip my sushi What's next? Charging for ketchup or chopsticks? I hope the .50 you added to my take out was worth my review and my business.

Yelp
Not the best tasting food. Pricey and horrible service. Only 1 server for the entire place. Front desk person very unfriendly and not welcoming. Service is too slow. I have to get my bill and pay at the counter since no one ever come back and check if we need anything. Requested for a Togo container several times and never got it until I as another person. Discusting bathroom and smell so bad. Would not recommend to anyone.

Yelp
I noticed upon walking in there was no added sauce on the tables to put in your broth (Soy Sauce, Sesame Oil, Red Chili, Tonkatsu). Read on to know why. As I'm waiting for my wasabi shrimp "Save Me" by BTS comes on. Um, that's Korean but okaay. I would prefer Malice Mizer but the bathrooms at Enza Ramen were clean, and that is important. The service is NOT worth the $7.99 tip request on a $40 meal when you check out at the front register. Why? I asked for lemons (the water brought to us had some floaties in it). No lemons, no extra special service. Staff takes your order, brings your order, brings the check. Not worth almost $8.00. Four stars for that and the BTS. Let's get into the ambiance of Enza Ramen. What to expect: low key, Japanese touches, upbeat music, posters on the walls, dim lighting, lots of seating in a small place. It's clean, and simple - nothing fancy. The fried creamy wasabi shrimp was excellent. Two snaps up in a circle! I highly recommend this appetizer. The price was reasonable, shrimp were a decent size, and the peanut sauce drizzled on top was creamy with a gentle wasabi spice. Overall, the presentation was #instagood Let's get into the soup... I choose the Tonkotsu Ramen. The portion was good for the price and the broth was one of the best I've tasted in Las Vegas. The pork looked like a small single strip of thick bacon, the bamboo shoots were too soft and not plentiful enough. Infact, I felt not enough veggies, including onion. The egg was awesome tho. Since the broth is the real reason why I eat Ramen, I WOULD return. CAN I GET JUST THE BROTH FOR ONLY $6? My guy choose the Enza Seafood Ramen. WOW! A big AF bowl of what looked like the Japanese version of fish gumbo. My guy took one bite, pointed at his bowl, nodded his head "yes", then proceeded to dig in. I'm sold on Enza Ramen - he's SO DAMN PICKY. No need to add extra stuff to the broth to church it up! We took the fried onions and dipped them in the broth. Yummmmm. The Kimchi was also good. However, it was a little too spicy for me, nonetheless my guy (who puts Tapatio on legit EVERYTHING) enjoyed it greatly! REASONS TO VISIT: 1. Plenty of parking 2. Clean Facility 3. Reasonable prices 4. Several ramen options 5. Excellent Ramen broth

Yelp
Had some time before heading to my niece's house in Henderson, so decided to try this place (saw great reviews). They did not disappoint...great service, nice decor & really enjoyed our food! Will definitely be back when we're in town!

Yelp
Best ramen in town! Service is always amazing. Food travels well. We love this place!

Yelp
Food was very average but good flavors. Meat was fall off bone and broth wasn't bland or too salty or spicy. Portions were great.

Yelp
The food was good, but unfortunately we saw cockroaches on the walls while we were eating. We politely and quietly told one of the servers, who did not seem surprised and didn't do anything about it (like tell a manager).

Yelp
What a hole in the wall ramen joint! Last time I came here it was a joint hot pot/ramen place YEARS ago and it didn't impress me, but NEW RESTAURANT WHAT?! Ramen Enzo really changed the whole vibe! Inside feels very authentic, full of Japanese decor! Ambiance and lighting makes it a great experience as well. Not your typical ramen joint with just tables and chairs and not much decor. This place is definitely well put. Food: I ordered the seafood ramen. I've never had seafood ramen before, but it's a tonkatsu broth with seafood toppings instead of pork chashu. Broth was VERY FLAVORFUL and the toppings were a nice change. I'd definitely get it again. Also, I thought the portions were big. I have more than enough leftovers. This cost me $16. For seafood, this is reasonable and justified and like I said big portioned.

Yelp
It was my girlfriends turn to pick the meal and she has been raving about Enza Ramen Japanese Ramen for a few months now saying that I needed to try it and the day finally came. We came here for lunch on a Sunday and thanks to some good timing we were seated right away! I can honestly say I don't know if I've ever had faster service then what I experienced here and it kind of blew me away, I'm talking lightening fast, in and out in maybe a half hour with top notch service with a smile. For food, I ended up getting a shrimp tempura roll along with a chicken katsu donburi bowl along with a side of Takoyaki. Shrimp Tempura Roll- standard shrimp tempura roll that tasted good and was made well, thumbs up for this! Chicken Katsu Donburi- I love chicken katsu and the piece that I was served had great flavour, great breading, and when you throw it on a bowl of rice you have a delicious bowl that came out super duper fast! Takoyaki- I've never had this before and honestly I did not like it very much. The balls themselves had a pretty good dough shell around it but I don't think what was inside is for me. I also do not blame the restaurant as it's something I chose to try for a new experience. Overall, the extremely fast service mixed with the extremely food prices makes this a 5 star experience for me. I have zero complaints with my meal and I'm really glad I finally got to check this place out, I will absolutely be coming back in the future!

Yelp
I being here multiple times! I asked for a ramen level one and it was spicier they requested and also no flavor like the usual ramen. The sushi! Omg it was not good at all. The fish when too fishy flavor it means its not fresh. Exactly what i got! Not fresh Fish! I dont think i will be ordering again. I couldnt eat my ramen! And sushi went to trash. It also had a fridge taste. That sucks Enzu Ramen your quality of food was poor.

Yelp
We had a busy day, and we were all craving some ramen to hit the spot! We knew If we went to our usual place, it'd probably be extremely busy with a waiting time, or close to closing. We drove by Enza, and decided to give it a shot after we finished our shopping we had planned. Enza wasn't too busy, and they were practicing social distancing. They had several tables empty, staff had masks, cooks had gloves, and they were friendly. The place is pretty good size, and it is full of posters of their food, sales, sushi, drinks, etc. I love ramen and I love sushi. I thought, "what a great combination". Boy was I wrong. We tried the tonkotsu ramen, I had spice level 3. We also tried the pollo ramen in spice 1, and miso ramen spice 2. The pictures you see are what was in the bowl. One strip of protein, half a medium boiled egg, broth, and ramen. We added corn, took off seaweed and black fungus. We tried the steamed dumpling, salmon roll, California roll, shrimp tempura roll, and the rainbow roll. I was extremely disappointed with the taste of the food. There was such overwhelming chili oil flavor, that it took away the flavor of the broth. The pollo ramen was plain, we had to ask for limes to give it flavor, which they didn't have. The broth didn't taste like it was simmered 12-15 hours as their poster read. The meat tasted over cooked, and the sushi wasn't cold when it came to the table. It was bland, tasted a little strange. We took the ramen home, put some sesame oil, soy sauce, and mixed some broth in, but it didn't save it. The service was good, the girls were nice, and gave us time to see the menu. If we came up, it'd be for the dumplings, but this place was not one of my favorites sadly.

Yelp
Working right next door to this place, at a temporary warehouse for the month for a project, I was looking for a place to try come good ole noodles and was pleasantly surprised. 1. Not extremely busy, which is what I prefer but also busy enough so I know that they have good turnover and fresh food! 2. Nice menu, I had the Tonkatsu Ramen and it was very filling with a nice pork chashu and decent flavor soup. I cannot tell you the overall way of how they are making this broth, but on a cold day and I was hungry, I was not so discriminating. 3. The next time I came here, I had a team from Korea so we ordered to go, Jjang Bap, Jajang sauce over fried rice and the Bulgogi Donburi. Everyone enjoyed it overall, but again, everyone is working very hard, it is cold and everyone was hungry. The restaurant was able to make an order of 12 for us and have it all ready within an hour. Hot and a nice big quantity, we were all satisfied. I will come here a few more times to try different things like their rolls and Jajangmen. In meantime, when it is cold and you are hangry, this is a place to try! GK says, check it out!

Yelp
My boyfriend surprised me for dinner last night and this is the place that he took me to! He's been wanting to try their ramen so I'm glad that we were able to go for dinner. He got the Enza Ramen with ribs and let me tell you... the ribs were SO. GOOD. AND!!!! The meat just slid off the bone! He definitely enjoyed it and plans on coming back! We also had a side of seaweed salad, pork fried rice, shrimp tempura roll, Enza special #2 roll, and shrimp tempura with onion rings. My favorite were the pork fried rice and the Enza special #2! They're currently having 40% off their rolls and their Sapporo was only $3.50. Overall, the food was pretty good!

Yelp
Went here for lunch with customers. Service was fast and food was above average. Bobo drinks were from a can but still very good. I would highly recommend.

Yelp
Our daughter wanted ramen and when she wants something, we will not hear the end of it until she gets it. So anyways, upon yelping nearby ramen shops, many were already closed (e.g., Monta, etc.), so we decided to give Enza a try. We ordered: 1.) Tonkotsu Ramen - The broth was decent, the noodle had a chew, but the one slice of chashu pork was not tender and too sweet (what is up with the fake torched char and the sauce). 2.) Enza Special Ramen with the Pork Ribs - This was a huge letdown...the pork ribs were not tender, the broth was just salty, the "fried vegetable" was just sauteed cabbage. Very disappointed. There are just much better ramen shops around so we will not be returning to Enza.

Mike C.

Yelp
I couldn't find a ramen that didn't have mushroom but I'm sure you can ask them to remove it

Yelp
WOW! Large portions! Great food all around. The hostess is the best! She gave great recommendations! You will leave full and satisfied until you return! Definitely coming back

Yelp
We havent come to this restaurant for long time and today we came . We had fo waited 20 mins nobody greeted us . We had to walk to kitchen and tell we gonna eat so the girl with glasses , helped us . Wow....but the girl with glasses doing fantastic . She greeted and help other costumer . She came to out table asked if everything ok . She is doing above and beyond . Finally the sleeping beauty woke up

Yelp
I came by here as they were having a promotion for their grand opening and what not. Cheap food is great and all but their ramen fell a little flat that I'd cringe if I paid the full price for it. Granted I got the tonkotsu ramen, I'd at least expect it to be somewhat flavorful. Unfortunately, my ramen tasted like it came from one of those ramen packs (not instant ramen) that you can buy at asian grocery stores. So maybe I just ordered the wrong thing or they were just having an off day. Outside of that though, decent service, decent decor, and not all too busy!

Yelp
Enza is the newest Ramen joint in my neighborhood and I'm a fan... Enza service: This is an attractive contemporary Ramen House with plenty of booths and bar seating for single diners during busy times. Dark wood is used throughout and the table and chairs are quality and stable. My server was very friendly and checked out me as I was slurping Ramen and finally answering work emails simultaneously. The kitchen got my Enza Ramen to the table quickly..speaking of which.. Enza Ramen: I went with their signature "Enza Ramen". As soon as I saw Spicy Sesame Miso and Pork Back Rib, I was in. I went with a spicy level of 2 out of 5 because the server mentioned that this Ramen bowl runs hot..(kinda like me). I love spicy ramen and I think I'd be good with a 3, I didn't sweat too much but the broth was tasty. The Pork Back Rib worked well with the noodles which I wish there was more of, but I think I was just super hungry. The Ramen is solid for repeat visits. The next ramen will be at level 3 and we'll see how hot it gets. I've had I'll be back to try some non-ramen dishes based off this pleasant experience. Arigato!
