Ordered the combo beef sandwich and dbl bacon cheeseburger. 1 st NO cheese on combo, asked for cheese, and was given a cold cup of cheddar cheese. The Italian beef was dry n sausage, not grilled but boiled. They used sports peppers instead of giardiniera, red sauce instead of gravy. Tasteless!!! On to the dbl 🍔......the patties were not handmade aa advertised. It was suffice but not great! The fries were the BEST thing they served! We came here based on other reviews. They lied and must have been paid off!! We asked for mozzarella bread sticks off the menu only to be told.. they don't serve those( even though the new menu have them listed. The sausage pizza was very good though!

I understand the Pizza took 30 minutes to cook. But it was worth of a wait! You can stop there if you live in the South Suburbs of Chicago!

I’ve lived in this community FLOSSMOOR for 35 yrs. My first time visiting this establishment. I ordered an Italian beef with mustard onion and hot peppers. U see I was also charged for the hot peppers that WAS NOT included with my order. I called was asked if I wanted to come all the way back there after I got home to pick up the peppers. REALLY SIR, I don’t think so. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, WON’T BE VISITING AGAIN. I’ll just continue to go to BUNOS IN FLOSSMOOR! THE BEEF WASN’T THAT GREAT EITHER!

Absolutely love the food! Best cheese fries around. The #2 sandwich combo I highly recommend. The pizza is good too

The story behind my discovery of this place is one for the books but the fact that this is hands down far and away the best beef sandwich I've ever had has kept me coming back to try the entire menu ... it does not disappoint. The sausage is incredible in its own right and stands proudly side-by-side with that beef using recipes and techniques as old as our grandparents (with exactly the kind of results you would expect: no cut corners, fillers, garbage chemicals or cost cuts). TRY THE PIZZA or be eliminated from discussion of the Best in the Area but be ready to grab a beef sandwich every time with every purchase because they're really that good ... luckily there are daily and monthly specials that make these regular visits more budget friendly.

The woman who took the order was awesome, very friendly. I give a 2 star for the food bc I ordered 2 combo beef and sausage and both were beef only, and I'm sure there was a price difference for the combo over just beef. Living in Indiana it, going back for a remade sandwich was not happening.

Just a good solid beef. Nice portion good flavor.

Terrible, after walking in the door let me just say I should have walked out (first impressions are everything)got beef and 2 hot dogs after looking at the hotdogs I didn't even bother with the beef I drove straight to portello's 15 dollar lesson learned.i won't be back.
