I had a really disappointing experience with this gym.
When I signed up, I was told by a staff member named Dylan that I needed the Will Power membership to access the specific location I wanted. Later, I found out that wasn’t true. When I called to downgrade to the $10/month plan, I was told I couldn’t downgrade at all. Instead, I was instructed to cancel my entire membership, re-sign at the other location, and pay the maintenance fee all over again.
I was willing to eat the extra $19/month I didn’t need just to simplify things, but they still refused to downgrade me.
On top of that, I was charged $15 for a service fee with no clear explanation. I emailed Dylan asking for a receipt and clarification. No response. I called the gym. No callback.
So at this point, I’m out:
The maintenance fee
An unnecessary higher-tier membership
A random $15 charge with no explanation
I was also shocked to learn they charge fees just to change your card on file. Check your contract carefully. This place nickel-and-dimes you at every step.
Customer service was terrible. Simple requests turned into complicated runarounds, and no one followed up. I’m cutting my losses and canceling. Very disappointing and not transparent at all.
